Verbum（聖言）用原文的聲音誦讀聖經與早期基督教文獻。 名字取自約翰福音 1:1 的拉丁文武加大譯本： In principio erat Verbum（太初有話）。
每一章都是一支影片：畫面上是原文經文，聲音是該語言的重建發音， 字幕可切換原文、中文、英文或三語並列，並且逐節對位—— 點任何一節就跳到那一節的聲音，點任何一個字就查它的字義與詞形。

影片標題標的是語料來源而非語言代碼——因為七十士譯本與希臘文新約
的語言碼同樣是 grc，而舊約書卷同時存在於希伯來文與七十士譯本兩種語料，
這個區別對讀者是關鍵資訊。
四種語言的語音都是本站自行訓練的合成模型，不是任何現成的 文字轉語音服務——市面上沒有這些語言的產品。訓練用的錄音取自四位朗讀者， 均已取得書面授權：
發音採學術重建：希臘文為古典／早期通用發音，拉丁文為教會發音， 希伯來文為提比里亞（Tiberian）傳統，吉茲文依衣索比亞正教會的誦讀傳統。 不同學派對細節仍有不同意見，本站的處理方式不代表唯一正解。

Verbum reads the Bible and early Christian literature aloud in the languages they were written in. The name comes from the Latin Vulgate of John 1:1 — In principio erat Verbum.
Each chapter is a video: the original text on screen, read in a reconstructed pronunciation, with subtitles you can switch between the original, Chinese, English, or all three at once. Everything is aligned verse by verse — tap a verse to jump to it, tap a word to see its gloss and morphology.

Titles name the corpus, not the language code: the Septuagint and the
Greek New Testament share the code grc, and Old Testament books exist in both
Hebrew and Septuagint Greek — a distinction that matters to readers.
All four voices are speech-synthesis models we trained ourselves — no commercial text-to-speech product covers these languages. The training recordings come from four readers, all licensed in writing: Jesse Orloff (Greek); LibriVox "bedwere" (Latin, Public Domain Mark 1.0); ንባብ ቤት / eathebook.org (Ge'ez); Rabbi Dan Be'eri (Hebrew).
Pronunciation follows scholarly reconstructions — Classical/early Koine for Greek, Ecclesiastical for Latin, the Tiberian tradition for Hebrew, and Ethiopian Orthodox chanting practice for Ge'ez. Specialists still differ on the details; our choices are not the only defensible ones.
