2:1

ወእምድኅረ ዐሠርቱ ወአርባዕቱ ዓመት ዐረጉ ካዕበ ኢየሩሳሌም ምስለ በርናባስ ወነሣእክዎ ለቲቶ።

過了十四年，我同巴拿巴又上耶路撒冷去，並帶着提多同去。

Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.

2:2

ወዐረጉ በዘአስተርአየኒ ወነገርክዎሙ ዘከመ መሀርኩ ወሰበኩ ለአሕዛብ ባሕቲትየ ለእለ ይትሔዘቡኒ ከመ ለከንቱ እረውጽ ወእትባደር።

我是奉啟示上去的，把我在外邦人中所傳的福音對弟兄們陳說；卻是背地裏對那有名望之人說的，惟恐我現在，或是從前，徒然奔跑。

I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the Good News which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.

2:3

ወቲቶሰ ዘምስሌየ እንዘ አረማዊ ውእቱ ኢያገበርክዎ ይትገዘር።

但與我同去的提多，雖是希臘人，也沒有勉強他受割禮；

But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

2:4

በእንተ ቢጽ ሐሳውያን እለ ተባውኡነ ከመ ያስተሐይጽዋ ለግዕዛንነ ዘረከብነ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ከመ ይቅንዩነ።

因為有偷着引進來的假弟兄，私下窺探我們在基督耶穌裏的自由，要叫我們作奴僕。

This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage,

2:5

እለ ኢነሐስቦሙ ወኢከመ ምንትኒ ኢተቀነይነ ሎሙ አሐተሂ ሰዓተ ከመ ይጽናዕ በኀቤክሙ ጽድቀ ትምህርት።

我們就是一刻的工夫也沒有容讓順服他們，為要叫福音的真理仍存在你們中間。

to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the Good News might continue with you.

2:6

ወእለሰ ይብሉ መኑ ከማነ እፎ ኮኑ እሙንቱ ትካት ኢያጽሕቀኒ እንግር እስመ እግዚአብሔር ኢያደሉ ለገጸ ሰብእ ወእሉሰ በርእሶሙ አልቦ ዘወሰኩኒ ምንተኒ።

至於那些有名望的，不論他是何等人，都與我無干。上帝不以外貌取人。那些有名望的，並沒有加增我甚麼，

But from those who were reputed to be important—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn’t show partiality to man—they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,

2:7

ዘእንበለ ዳእሙ አእሚሮሙ ከመ ተአመነኒ ትምህርትየ በኀበ አሕዛብ እለ ኢተገዝሩ በከመ ትምህርቱ ለጴጥሮስ በኀበ አይሁድ እለ ተገዝሩ።

反倒看見了主託我傳福音給那未受割禮的人，正如託彼得傳福音給那受割禮的人。（

but to the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcised, even as Peter with the Good News for the circumcised—

2:8

ወውእቱ ዘአርድኦ ለጴጥሮስ በመልእክቱ ዘመንገለ ግዝረተ አይሁድ አርድአኒ ሊተኒ ውስተ ቍልፈተ አሕዛብ።

那感動彼得、叫他為受割禮之人作使徒的，也感動我，叫我為外邦人作使徒；）

for he who worked through Peter in the apostleship with the circumcised also worked through me with the Gentiles—

2:9

ወአእሚሮሙ ጸጋሁ ዘወሀበኒ ያዕቆብ ወኬፋ ወዮሐንስ እለ ይብልዎሙ አዕማድ እሙንቱ የማኖሙ መጠዉኒ ምስለ በርናባስ ከመ ንሳተፍ ምህሮ አሕዛብ ወእሙንቱ ይሑሩ ኀበ አይሁድ ወንሕነኒ ኀበ አረሚ።

又知道所賜給我的恩典，那稱為教會柱石的雅各、磯法、約翰，就向我和巴拿巴用右手行相交之禮，叫我們往外邦人那裏去，他們往受割禮的人那裏去。

and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
