2:1
አመ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ወአርባዕቱ፡ ለሳድስ፡ ወርኀ፡ በሰዱስ፡ ዓመት።
這是在大流士王第二年六月二十四日。
in the twenty-fourth day of the month, in the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
2:2
በሳብዕ፡ ወርኀ፡ በሰዱስ፡ ለጽልበት፡ ነበበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእደ፡ ሐጌ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወይቤሎ።
七月二十一日，耶和華的話臨到先知哈該說：
In the seventh month, in the twenty-first day of the month, Yahweh’s word came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
2:3
በሎ፡ ለዘሩባቤል፡ ወልደ፡ ሰላትያል፡ ዘሕዝበ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወለዩሴዕ፡ ወልደ፡ ዩሴዴቅ፡ ካህን፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወለኩሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወይቤ።
「你要曉諭猶大省長撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞，並剩下的百姓，說：
“Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
2:4
መኑ፡ እምኔክሙ፡ ዘርአዩ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ቤት፡ ትርሲቶ፡ ዘትካት፡ ወእፎ፡ ትሬእይዎ፡ ይእዜ፡ እንትሙከመ፡ ዘኢሀሎ፡ ቅድሜክሙ።
你們中間存留的，有誰見過這殿從前的榮耀呢？現在你們看着如何？豈不在眼中看如無有嗎？」
‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How do you see it now? Isn’t it in your eyes as nothing?
2:5
ወይአዜኒ፡ ጽናዕ፡ ዘሩባቤል፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይጽናዕ፡ ዩሴዕ፡ ወልደ፡ ዩሴዴቅ፡ ካህን፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወይጽንዑ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ምድር፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወግብሩ፡ ወአነ፡ ሀሎኩ፡ ምስሌክሙ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአቤሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ።
耶和華說：「所羅巴伯啊，雖然如此，你當剛強！約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞啊，你也當剛強！這地的百姓，你們都當剛強做工，因為我與你們同在。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says Yahweh. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ says Yahweh, ‘and work, for I am with you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
2:6
ወመንፈስየ፡ ይቀዉም፡ ምእከሌክሙ፡ ተአመኑ።
這是照着你們出埃及我與你們立約的話。那時，我的靈住在你們中間，你們不要懼怕。」
This is the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit lived among you. ‘Don’t be afraid.’
2:7
ከመዝ፡ የቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ፡ ዓዲ፡ ምዕረ፡ ወአነ፡ አድለቀልቃ፡ ለሰማይ፡ ወለምድር፡ ወለባሕር፡ ወለየብሰ።
萬軍之耶和華如此說：「過不多時，我必再一次震動天地、滄海，與旱地。
For this is what Yahweh of Armies says: ‘Yet once more, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;
2:8
ወድለቀልቆም፡ ለኩሎሙ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ወየመጹእ፡ ኀሩሆሙ፡ ለኩሎሙ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ወእመልሎ፡ ለዝንቱ፡ ቤት፡ ትርሲተ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ።
我必震動萬國；萬國的珍寶必都運來 ，我就使這殿滿了榮耀。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」
and I will shake all nations. The treasure of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Armies.
2:9
ዚአየ፡ ዉእቱ፡ ወርቅ፡ ዉብሩር፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ።
萬軍之耶和華說：「銀子是我的，金子也是我的。
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
2:10
ወይኄይስ፡ ትርሲቱ፡ ላዝንቱ፡ ቤት፡ ደኃሪቱ፡ ምቀዳሚቱ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ። ወእሁብ፡ ስላመ፡ ለዝንቴ፡ ብሔር፡ ይቤ፡ እዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ፡ ወሰላመ፡ ለኩሉ፡ ነፍስ፡ እንተ፡ ትትጌበር፡ ወየትነሣእ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ቤት።
這殿後來的榮耀必大過先前的榮耀；在這地方我必賜平安。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」
‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says Yahweh of Armies; ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”
2:11
አመ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ወአርባዕቱ፡ ለታስዕ፡ ወርኀ፡ በካልእት፡ ዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለዳርዩስ፡ ኮነ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀበ፡ ሐጌ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወይቤሉ።
大流士王第二年九月二十四日，耶和華的話臨到先知哈該說：
In the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, Yahweh’s word came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
2:12
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ያማልክ፡ ታስአሎሙአ፡ ለካህናቲክ፡ ሕገ፡ ወበሎሙ።
萬軍之耶和華如此說：「你要向祭司問律法，
“Yahweh of Armies says: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
2:13
እመአ፡ ለከፎ፡ ለሰብአ፡ ሥጋ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ጽንፈ፡ ልብሱ፡ ወለከፎ፡ በዘፈረ፡ ልብሱ፡ እመሂ፡ ኀብስተ፡ ወእመሂ፡ ወይነ፡ ወእመሂ፡ ብሱለ፡ ወእመሂ፡ ዛኮነ፡ እክል፡ ወእመሂ፡ ቅብእ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ይትቄደሰኑ፡ ዋይቤሉ፡ ካህናት፡ ኢይትቄደስ።
說：若有人用衣襟兜聖肉，這衣襟挨着餅，或湯，或酒，或油，或別的食物，便算為聖嗎？」祭司說：「不算為聖。」
‘If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?’” The priests answered, “No.”
2:14
ወይሌሎሙ፡ ሐጌ፡ ከማሁ፡ እመኬ፡ ለክፎ፡ ርኩስ፡ ወሥኡ፡ በነፍስ፡ ይረኩሰኑአ፡ እምኩሉ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ወይቤሉ፡ ካህናት፡ ይረኩስ።
哈該又說：「若有人因摸死屍染了污穢，然後挨着這些物的哪一樣，這物算污穢嗎？」祭司說：「必算污穢。」
Then Haggai said, “If one who is unclean by reason of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?” The priests answered, “It will be unclean.”
2:15
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ሐጌ፡ ከማሁኬአ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወነገደ፡ ቅድመየ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአቤሔር፡ ወከማሁ፡ ኩሉ፡ ግብረ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ወኩሉ፡ ግብረ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ወኩሉ፡ ዘቀረቦሙ፡ ይረኩስ፡ በአንተ፡ ዘተረፎሙ፡ በጽባሕ፡ ይሣቀዩ፡ በቅድመ፡ ሕማሞሙ፡ ወይጸልእዎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ይጌሥጽዎሙ፡ በኅበ፡ አናቅጽ።
於是哈該說：「耶和華說：這民這國，在我面前也是如此；他們手下的各樣工作都是如此；他們在壇上所獻的也是如此。」
Then Haggai answered, “‘So is this people, and so is this nation before me,’ says Yahweh; ‘and so is every work of their hands. That which they offer there is unclean.
2:16
ወይእዘኒ፡ ሐልዩ፡ በልብክሙ፡ ዘእምአሜ፡ ቀዳሚት፡ ዕለት፡ ወዘእምቅድሜሁ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ያንብሩ፡ እብነ፡ ዲበ፡ እብን፡ ዉስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መኑ፡ አንትሙ።
現在你們要追想，此日以前，耶和華的殿沒有一塊石頭壘在石頭上的光景。
Now, please consider from this day and backward, before a stone was laid on a stone in Yahweh’s temple.
2:17
አመ፡ ትዘርኡ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ሰገመ፡ ወታትዉ፡ ዐሠርተ፡ ሰገመ፡ ወትበዉኡ፡ ኀበ፡ ምክያድ፡ ትቅድሑ፡ ኃምሳ፡ ጻሕበ፡ ወትቀድሑ፡ ዕሥራ።
在那一切日子，有人來到穀堆，想得二十斗，只得了十斗。有人來到酒池，想得五十桶，只得了二十桶。
Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty, there were only twenty.
2:18
ቀሠፍኩክሙ፡ በዓባር፡ ወበበረድ፡ በኩሉ፡ ተግባረ፡ እደዊክሙ፡ ወኢነሳሕክሙ፡ ወኢተመየጥክሙ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ።
在你們手下的各樣工作上，我以旱風、霉爛、冰雹攻擊你們，你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。
I struck you with blight, mildew, and hail in all the work of your hands; yet you didn’t turn to me,’ says Yahweh.
2:19
ሐልዩ፡ በልብክም፡ ዘእምአሜ፡ ቀዳሚት፡ ዕለት፡ ወዘእምድኀሬሃ፡ ዘእመ፡ ተሱዑ፡ ለጽልመት፡ ታስዕ፡ ወርኀ፡ ዘእምአመ፡ ሣረሩ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ተዘከርዎ፡ ብልክሙ።
你們要追想此日以前，就是從這九月二十四日起，追想到立耶和華殿根基的日子。
‘Consider, please, from this day and backward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, since the day that the foundation of Yahweh’s temple was laid, consider it.
2:20
ወትሬእዩ፡ በዉሰተ፡ ምክያደ፡ ክል፡ ወወይን፡ ወበለስ፡ ወሮማን፡ ወዘይት፡ ወኩሉ፡ ዕፅ፡ ዘኢያፈሪ፡ እባርኮሙ፡ እምዩም።
倉裏有穀種嗎？葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹、橄欖樹都沒有結果子。從今日起，我必賜福與你們。
Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree haven’t produced. From today I will bless you.’”
2:21
ወኮነ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በዳግም፡ ኀበ፡ ሐጌ፡ ነቢይ፡ አመ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ወአርባዕቱ፡ ለጋስዕ፡ ወርኀ፡ ወይቤሎ።
這月二十四日，耶和華的話二次臨到哈該說：
Yahweh’s word came the second time to Haggai in the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,
2:22
በሎ፡ ለዘሩባቤል፡ ወልደ፡ ሰላትያል፡ ዘሕዝበ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ናሁ፡ አነ፡ አድለቀልቃ፡ ለሰማይ፡ ለምድር፡ ወለበህር፡ ወለየብስ።
「你要告訴猶大省長所羅巴伯說：我必震動天地。
“Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, ‘I will shake the heavens and the earth.
2:23
ወእገፈትዕ፡ መናብርተ፡ ነገሥ፡ ወእገፈትዕ፡ ሠረገላ፡ ወመስተጽዕናነ፡ ወይወርዱ፡ መስተጽዕናን፡ በአፍራሲሆሙ፡ ምስለ፡ አስይፍቲሆሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ቢጾሙ።
我必傾覆列國的寶座，除滅列邦的勢力，並傾覆戰車和坐在其上的。馬必跌倒，騎馬的敗落，各人被弟兄的刀所殺。
I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.
2:24
ይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ፡ አነሥአከ፡ ዘሩባቤል፡ ወልደ፡ ሰላትያል፡ ውሬስየክ፡ ከመ፡ ማዕተብ፡ እስመ፡ ኪያክ፡ ኀረይኩ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኩሉ፡ ይመልክ።
萬軍之耶和華說：我僕人撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯啊，到那日，我必以你為印，因我揀選了你。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」
In that day, says Yahweh of Armies, I will take you, Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says Yahweh, ‘and will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”
