2:1
Factum est autem cum levare vellet Dominus Eliam per turbinem in caelum, ibant Elias et Eliseus de Galgalis.
耶和華要用旋風接以利亞升天的時候,以利亞與以利沙從吉甲前往。
When Yahweh was about to take Elijah up by a whirlwind into heaven, Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
2:2
Dixitque Elias ad Eliseum : Sede hic, quia Dominus misit me usque in Bethel. Cui ait Eliseus : Vivit Dominus, et vivit anima tua, quia non derelinquam te. Cumque descendissent Bethel,
以利亞對以利沙說:「耶和華差我往伯特利去,你可以在這裏等候。」以利沙說:「我指着永生的耶和華,又敢在你面前起誓,我必不離開你。」於是二人下到伯特利。
Elijah said to Elisha, “Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.
2:3
egressi sunt filii prophetarum qui erant in Bethel, ad Eliseum, et dixerunt ei : Numquid nosti quia hodie Dominus tollet dominum tuum a te ? Qui respondit : Et ego novi : silete.
住伯特利的先知門徒出來見以利沙,對他說:「耶和華今日要接你的師傅離開你,你知道不知道?」他說:「我知道,你們不要作聲。」
The sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that Yahweh will take away your master from over you today?” He said, “Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”
2:4
Dixit autem Elias ad Eliseum : Sede hic, quia Dominus misit me in Jericho. Et ille ait : Vivit Dominus, et vivit anima tua, quia non derelinquam te. Cumque venissent Jericho,
以利亞對以利沙說:「耶和華差遣我往耶利哥去,你可以在這裏等候。」以利沙說:「我指着永生的耶和華,又敢在你面前起誓,我必不離開你。」於是二人到了耶利哥。
Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me to Jericho.” He said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.
2:5
accesserunt filii prophetarum qui erant in Jericho, ad Eliseum, et dixerunt ei : Numquid nosti quia Dominus hodie tollet dominum tuum a te ? Et ait : Et ego novi : silete.
住耶利哥的先知門徒就近以利沙,對他說:「耶和華今日要接你的師傅離開你,你知道不知道?」他說:「我知道,你們不要作聲。」
The sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came near to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that Yahweh will take away your master from over you today?” He answered, “Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”
2:6
Dixit autem ei Elias : Sede hic, quia Dominus misit me usque ad Jordanem. Qui ait : Vivit Dominus, et vivit anima tua, quia non derelinquam te. Ierunt igitur ambo pariter,
以利亞對以利沙說:「耶和華差遣我往約旦河去,你可以在這裏等候。」以利沙說:「我指着永生的耶和華,又敢在你面前起誓,我必不離開你。」於是二人一同前往。
Elijah said to him, “Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me to the Jordan.” He said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” Then they both went on.
2:7
et quinquaginta viri de filiis prophetarum secuti sunt eos, qui et steterunt e contra, longe : illi autem ambo stabant super Jordanem.
有先知門徒去了五十人,遠遠地站在他們對面;二人在約旦河邊站住。
Fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood opposite them at a distance; and they both stood by the Jordan.
2:8
Tulitque Elias pallium suum, et involvit illud, et percussit aquas : quae divisae sunt in utramque partem, et transierunt ambo per siccum.
以利亞將自己的外衣捲起來,用以打水,水就左右分開,二人走乾地而過。
Elijah took his mantle, and rolled it up, and struck the waters; and they were divided here and there, so that they both went over on dry ground.
2:9
Cumque transissent, Elias dixit ad Eliseum : Postula quod vis ut faciam tibi, antequam tollar a te. Dixitque Eliseus : Obsecro ut fiat in me duplex spiritus tuus.
過去之後,以利亞對以利沙說:「我未曾被接去離開你,你要我為你做甚麼,只管求我。」以利沙說:「願感動你的靈加倍地感動我。」
When they had gone over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be on me.”
2:10
Qui respondit : Rem difficilem postulasti : attamen si videris me quando tollar a te, erit tibi quod petisti : si autem non videris, non erit.
以利亞說:「你所求的難得。雖然如此,我被接去離開你的時候,你若看見我,就必得着;不然,必得不着了。」
He said, “You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will be so for you; but if not, it will not be so.”
2:11
Cumque pergerent, et incedentes sermocinarentur, ecce currus igneus, et equi ignei diviserunt utrumque : et ascendit Elias per turbinem in caelum.
他們正走着說話,忽有火車火馬將二人隔開,以利亞就乘旋風升天去了。
As they continued on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
2:12
Eliseus autem videbat, et clamabat : Pater mi, pater mi, currus Israël, et auriga ejus. Et non vidit eum amplius : apprehenditque vestimenta sua, et scidit illa in duas partes.
以利沙看見,就呼叫說:「我父啊!我父啊!以色列的戰車馬兵啊!」以後不再見他了。 於是以利沙把自己的衣服撕為兩片。
Elisha saw it, and he cried, “My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” He saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.
2:13
Et levavit pallium Eliae, quod ceciderat ei : reversusque stetit super ripam Jordanis,
他拾起以利亞身上掉下來的外衣,回去站在約旦河邊。
He also took up Elijah’s mantle that fell from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan.
2:14
et pallio Eliae, quod ceciderat ei, percussit aquas, et non sunt divisae : et dixit : Ubi est Deus Eliae etiam nunc ? Percussitque aquas, et divisae sunt huc atque illuc, et transiit Eliseus.
他用以利亞身上掉下來的外衣打水,說:「耶和華-以利亞的上帝在哪裏呢?」打水之後,水也左右分開,以利沙就過來了。
He took Elijah’s mantle that fell from him, and struck the waters, and said, “Where is Yahweh, the God of Elijah?” When he also had struck the waters, they were divided apart, and Elisha went over.
2:15
Videntes autem filii prophetarum qui erant in Jericho e contra, dixerunt : Requievit spiritus Eliae super Eliseum. Et venientes in occursum ejus, adoraverunt eum proni in terram,
住耶利哥的先知門徒從對面看見他,就說:「感動以利亞的靈感動以利沙了。」他們就來迎接他,在他面前俯伏於地,
When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
2:16
dixeruntque illi : Ecce cum servis tuis sunt quinquaginta viri fortes qui possunt ire, et quaerere dominum tuum, ne forte tulerit eum spiritus Domini, et projecerit eum in unum montium, aut in unam vallium. Qui ait : Nolite mittere.
對他說:「僕人們這裏有五十個壯士,求你容他們去尋找你師傅,或者耶和華的靈將他提起來,投在某山某谷。」以利沙說:「你們不必打發人去。」
They said to him, “See now, there are with your servants fifty strong men. Please let them go and seek your master. Perhaps Yahweh’s Spirit has taken him up, and put him on some mountain or into some valley.” He said, “Don’t send them.”
2:17
Coëgeruntque eum donec acquiesceret, et diceret : Mittite. Et miserunt quinquaginta viros : qui cum quaesissent tribus diebus, non invenerunt.
他們再三催促他,他難以推辭,就說:「你們打發人去吧!」他們便打發五十人去,尋找了三天,也沒有找着。
When they urged him until he was ashamed, he said, “Send them.” Therefore they sent fifty men; and they searched for three days, but didn’t find him.
2:18
Et reversi sunt ad eum : at ille habitabat in Jericho, et dixit eis : Numquid non dixi vobis : Nolite mittere ?
以利沙仍然在耶利哥等候他們回到他那裏;他對他們說:「我豈沒有告訴你們不必去嗎?」
They came back to him while he stayed at Jericho; and he said to them, “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t go’?”
2:19
Dixerunt quoque viri civitatis ad Eliseum : Ecce habitatio civitatis hujus optima est, sicut tu ipse, domine, perspicis : sed aquae pessimae sunt, et terra sterilis.
耶利哥城的人對以利沙說:「這城的地勢美好,我主看見了;只是水惡劣,土產不熟而落。」
The men of the city said to Elisha, “Behold, please, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the land is barren.”
2:20
At ille ait : Afferte mihi vas novum, et mittite in illud sal. Quod cum attulissent,
以利沙說:「你們拿一個新瓶來,裝鹽給我」;他們就拿來給他。
He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” Then they brought it to him.
2:21
egressus ad fontem aquarum misit in illum sal, et ait : Haec dicit Dominus : Sanavi aquas has, et non erit ultra in eis mors, neque sterilitas.
他出到水源,將鹽倒在水中,說:「耶和華如此說:『我治好了這水,從此必不再使人死,也不再使地土不生產。』」
He went out to the spring of the waters, and threw salt into it, and said, “Yahweh says, ‘I have healed these waters. There shall not be from there any more death or barren wasteland.’”
2:22
Sanatae sunt ergo aquae usque in diem hanc, juxta verbum Elisei quod locutus est.
於是那水治好了,直到今日,正如以利沙所說的。
So the waters were healed to this day, according to Elisha’s word which he spoke.
2:23
Ascendit autem inde in Bethel : cumque ascenderet per viam, pueri parvi egressi sunt de civitate, et illudebant ei, dicentes : Ascende calve, ascende calve.
以利沙從那裏上伯特利去,正上去的時候,有些童子從城裏出來,戲笑他說:「禿頭的上去吧!禿頭的上去吧!」
He went up from there to Bethel. As he was going up by the way, some youths came out of the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldy! Go up, you baldy!”
2:24
Qui cum respexisset, vidit eos, et maledixit eis in nomine Domini : egressique sunt duo ursi de saltu, et laceraverunt ex eis quadraginta duos pueros.
他回頭看見,就奉耶和華的名咒詛他們。於是有兩個母熊從林中出來,撕裂他們中間四十二個童子。
He looked behind him and saw them, and cursed them in Yahweh’s name. Then two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of those youths.
2:25
Abiit autem inde in montem Carmeli, et inde reversus est in Samariam.
以利沙從伯特利上迦密山,又從迦密山回到撒馬利亞。
He went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.
