33:1
וְזֹ֣את הַבְּרָכָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר בֵּרַ֥ךְ מֹשֶׁ֛ה אִ֥ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לִפְנֵ֖י מוֹתֽוֹ׃
καὶ αὕτη ἡ εὐλογία ἣν εὐλόγησεν Μωυσῆς ἄνθρωπος τοῦ θεοῦ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ πρὸ τῆς τελευτῆς αὐτοῦ
Haec est benedictio, qua benedixit Moyses, homo Dei, filiis Israël ante mortem suam.
ወከመዝ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ በረከት ፡ እንተ ፡ ባረኮሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ብእሴ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ ይሙት ።
This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
33:2
וַיֹּאמַ֗ר יְהֹוָ֞ה מִסִּינַ֥י בָּא֙ וְזָרַ֤ח מִשֵּׂעִיר֙ לָ֔מוֹ הוֹפִ֙יעַ֙ מֵהַ֣ר פָּארָ֔ן וְאָתָ֖ה מֵרִבְבֹ֣ת קֹ֑דֶשׁ מִימִינ֕וֹ (אשדת) [אֵ֥שׁ דָּ֖ת] לָֽמוֹ׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ἐκ Σινα ἥκει καὶ ἐπέφανεν ἐκ Σηιρ ἡμῖν καὶ κατέσπευσεν ἐξ ὄρους Φαραν σὺν μυριάσιν Καδης ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ ἄγγελοι μετ’ αὐτοῦ
Et ait : Dominus de Sinai venit, et de Seir ortus est nobis : apparuit de monte Pharan, et cum eo sanctorum millia. In dextera ejus ignea lex.
ወይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እምነ ፡ ሲና ፡ መጽአ ፡ ወአስተርአየኒ ፡ በሴይር ፡ ወአዕረፈ ፡ በደብረ ፡ ፋራን ፡ ምስለ ፡ አእላፈ ፡ ቃዴስ ፡ እለ ፡ እምየማኑ ፡ መላእክቲሁ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ምስሌሁ ።
He said, “Yahweh came from Sinai, and rose from Seir to them. He shone from Mount Paran. He came from the ten thousands of holy ones. At his right hand was a fiery law for them.
33:3
אַ֚ף חֹבֵ֣ב עַמִּ֔ים כׇּל־קְדֹשָׁ֖יו בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ וְהֵם֙ תֻּכּ֣וּ לְרַגְלֶ֔ךָ יִשָּׂ֖א מִדַּבְּרֹתֶֽיךָ׃
καὶ ἐφείσατο τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἡγιασμένοι ὑπὸ τὰς χεῖράς σου καὶ οὗτοι ὑπὸ σέ εἰσιν καὶ ἐδέξατο ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων αὐτοῦ
Dilexit populos, omnes sancti in manu illius sunt : et qui appropinquant pedibus ejus, accipient de doctrina illius.
ወምሕኮ ፡ ለሕዝቡ ፡ ወለእለ ፡ ተቀደሱ ፡ በእደዊሁ ፡ ወእሉሂ ፡ እሊአከ ፡ እሙንቱ ።
Yes, he loves the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.
33:4
תּוֹרָ֥ה צִוָּה־לָ֖נוּ מֹשֶׁ֑ה מוֹרָשָׁ֖ה קְהִלַּ֥ת יַעֲקֹֽב׃
νόμον ὃν ἐνετείλατο ἡμῖν Μωυσῆς κληρονομίαν συναγωγαῖς Ιακωβ
Legem praecepit nobis Moyses, haereditatem multitudinis Jacob.
ወረከቡ ፡ ሕገ ፡ በቃለ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ዘአዘዘነ ፡ [*ሙሴ ፡*] ወርስተ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ያዕቆብ ።
Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.
33:5
וַיְהִ֥י בִישֻׁר֖וּן מֶ֑לֶךְ בְּהִתְאַסֵּף֙ רָ֣אשֵׁי עָ֔ם יַ֖חַד שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ ἠγαπημένῳ ἄρχων συναχθέντων ἀρχόντων λαῶν ἅμα φυλαῖς Ισραηλ
Erit apud rectissimum rex, congregatis principibus populi cum tribubus Israël.
ወይከውን ፡ መልአክ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ፍቁር ፡ ተጋቢኦሙ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ነገደ ፡ እስራኤል ።
He was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people were gathered, all the tribes of Israel together.
33:6
יְחִ֥י רְאוּבֵ֖ן וְאַל־יָמֹ֑ת וִיהִ֥י מְתָ֖יו מִסְפָּֽר׃ {ס}
ζήτω Ρουβην καὶ μὴ ἀποθανέτω καὶ ἔστω πολὺς ἐν ἀριθμῷ
Vivat Ruben, et non moriatur, et sit parvus in numero.
አኀሥሦ ፡ ለሮቤል ፡ ወኢይሙተኒ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ ኍለቊሁ ።
“Let Reuben live, and not die; Nor let his men be few.”
33:7
וְזֹ֣את לִיהוּדָה֮ וַיֹּאמַר֒ שְׁמַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ ק֣וֹל יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאֶל־עַמּ֖וֹ תְּבִיאֶ֑נּוּ יָדָיו֙ רָ֣ב ל֔וֹ וְעֵ֥זֶר מִצָּרָ֖יו תִּהְיֶֽה׃ {פ}
καὶ αὕτη Ιουδα εἰσάκουσον κύριε φωνῆς Ιουδα καὶ εἰς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ εἰσέλθοισαν αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ διακρινοῦσιν αὐτῷ καὶ βοηθὸς ἐκ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ ἔσῃ
Haec est Judae benedictio : Audi, Domine, vocem Judae, et ad populum suum introduc eum : manus ejus pugnabunt pro eo, et adjutor illius contra adversarios ejus erit.
ወበዛቲኒ ፡ ለይሁዳ ፤ ስምዖ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ለይሁዳ ፡ ወይግባእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሕዝቡ ፡ ወእደዊሁ ፡ ይኰንናሁ ፤ ወኵኖ ፡ ረዳኤ ፡ እምነ ፡ ፀሩ ።
This is for Judah. He said, “Hear, Yahweh, the voice of Judah. Bring him in to his people. With his hands he contended for himself. You shall be a help against his adversaries.”
33:8
וּלְלֵוִ֣י אָמַ֔ר תֻּמֶּ֥יךָ וְאוּרֶ֖יךָ לְאִ֣ישׁ חֲסִידֶ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֤ר נִסִּיתוֹ֙ בְּמַסָּ֔ה תְּרִיבֵ֖הוּ עַל־מֵ֥י מְרִיבָֽה׃
καὶ τῷ Λευι εἶπεν δότε Λευι δήλους αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀλήθειαν αὐτοῦ τῷ ἀνδρὶ τῷ ὁσίῳ ὃν ἐπείρασαν αὐτὸν ἐν πείρᾳ ἐλοιδόρησαν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀντιλογίας
Levi quoque ait : Perfectio tua, et doctrina tua viro sancto tuo, quem probasti in tentatione, et judicasti ad aquas contradictionis.
ወለሌዊኒ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ አግብኡ ፡ ለሌዊ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ወጽድቆ ፡ ለብእሲ ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ ዘአመከርዎ ፡ መከራ ፡ ወፀአልዎ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ማየ ፡ ቅሥት ።
About Levi he said, “Your Thummim and your Urim are with your godly one, whom you proved at Massah, with whom you contended at the waters of Meribah.
33:9
הָאֹמֵ֞ר לְאָבִ֤יו וּלְאִמּוֹ֙ לֹ֣א רְאִיתִ֔יו וְאֶת־אֶחָיו֙ לֹ֣א הִכִּ֔יר וְאֶת־בָּנָ֖ו לֹ֣א יָדָ֑ע כִּ֤י שָֽׁמְרוּ֙ אִמְרָתֶ֔ךָ וּבְרִיתְךָ֖ יִנְצֹֽרוּ׃
ὁ λέγων τῷ πατρὶ καὶ τῇ μητρί οὐχ ἑόρακά σε καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐπέγνω καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἀπέγνω ἐφύλαξεν τὰ λόγιά σου καὶ τὴν διαθήκην σου διετήρησεν
Qui dixit patri suo et matri suae : Nescio vos : et fratribus suis : Ignoro vos : et nescierunt filios suos. Hi custodierunt eloquium tuum, et pactum tuum servaverunt.
ዘይቤሎ ፡ ለአቡሁ ፡ ወለእሙ ፡ ኢርኢኩከ ፡ ወበአኀዊሁኒ ፡ ኢያእመረ ፡ ወበደቂቁኒ ፡ ኢለበወ ፡ ወዐቀበ ፡ ቃለከ ፡ ወተማኅፀነ ፡ ኪዳነከ ፤
He said of his father, and of his mother, ‘I have not seen him.’ He didn’t acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
33:10
יוֹר֤וּ מִשְׁפָּטֶ֙יךָ֙ לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב וְתוֹרָתְךָ֖ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל יָשִׂ֤ימוּ קְטוֹרָה֙ בְּאַפֶּ֔ךָ וְכָלִ֖יל עַֽל־מִזְבְּחֶֽךָ׃
δηλώσουσιν τὰ δικαιώματά σου τῷ Ιακωβ καὶ τὸν νόμον σου τῷ Ισραηλ ἐπιθήσουσιν θυμίαμα ἐν ὀργῇ σου διὰ παντὸς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριόν σου
Judicia tua, o Jacob, et legem tuam, o Israël : ponent thymiama in furore tuo, et holocaustum super altare tuum.
ከመ ፡ ይንግሩ ፡ ኵነኔከ ፡ ለያዕቆብ ፡ ወሕገከ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይደዩ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ለመዐትከ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዒከ ።
They shall teach Jacob your ordinances, and Israel your law. They shall put incense before you, and whole burnt offering on your altar.
33:11
בָּרֵ֤ךְ יְהֹוָה֙ חֵיל֔וֹ וּפֹ֥עַל יָדָ֖יו תִּרְצֶ֑ה מְחַ֨ץ מׇתְנַ֧יִם קָמָ֛יו וּמְשַׂנְאָ֖יו מִן־יְקוּמֽוּן׃ {ס}
εὐλόγησον κύριε τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ δέξαι κάταξον ὀσφὺν ἐχθρῶν ἐπανεστηκότων αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ μισοῦντες αὐτὸν μὴ ἀναστήτωσαν
Benedic, Domine, fortitudini ejus : et opera manuum illius suscipe. Percute dorsa inimicorum ejus : et qui oderunt eum, non consurgant.
ወባርክ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ኀይሎ ፡ ወተወከፍ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደዊሁ ፡ ወአውርድ ፡ ክበደ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትቃወምዎ ፡ ፀሩ ፤ ኢ [ታ]ንሥኦሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይፀልእዎ ።
Yahweh, bless his skills. Accept the work of his hands. Strike through the hips of those who rise up against him, of those who hate him, that they not rise again.”
33:12
לְבִנְיָמִ֣ן אָמַ֔ר יְדִ֣יד יְהֹוָ֔ה יִשְׁכֹּ֥ן לָבֶ֖טַח עָלָ֑יו חֹפֵ֤ף עָלָיו֙ כׇּל־הַיּ֔וֹם וּבֵ֥ין כְּתֵפָ֖יו שָׁכֵֽן׃ {ס}
καὶ τῷ Βενιαμιν εἶπεν ἠγαπημένος ὑπὸ κυρίου κατασκηνώσει πεποιθώς καὶ ὁ θεὸς σκιάζει ἐπ’ αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὤμων αὐτοῦ κατέπαυσεν
Et Benjamin ait : Amantissimus Domini habitabit confidenter in eo : quasi in thalamo tota die morabitur, et inter humeros illius requiescet.
ወለብንያምኒ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ ፍቁረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ የኀድር ፡ ተአሚኖ ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ይጼልሎ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕሊሁ ፡ ወያዐርፍ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ መታክፊሁ ።
About Benjamin he said, “The beloved of Yahweh will dwell in safety by him. He covers him all day long. He dwells between his shoulders.”
33:13
וּלְיוֹסֵ֣ף אָמַ֔ר מְבֹרֶ֥כֶת יְהֹוָ֖ה אַרְצ֑וֹ מִמֶּ֤גֶד שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִטָּ֔ל וּמִתְּה֖וֹם רֹבֶ֥צֶת תָּֽחַת׃
καὶ τῷ Ιωσηφ εἶπεν ἀπ’ εὐλογίας κυρίου ἡ γῆ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ ὡρῶν οὐρανοῦ καὶ δρόσου καὶ ἀπὸ ἀβύσσων πηγῶν κάτωθεν
Joseph quoque ait : De benedictione Domini terra ejus, de pomis caeli, et rore, atque abysso subjacente.
ወልዮሴፍኒ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ እምነ ፡ በረከተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምድሩ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ዝናመ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወጠል ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ነቅዐ ፡ ቀላይ ፡ ዘእምታሕቱ ፤
About Joseph he said, “His land is blessed by Yahweh, for the precious things of the heavens, for the dew, for the deep that couches beneath,
33:14
וּמִמֶּ֖גֶד תְּבוּאֹ֣ת שָׁ֑מֶשׁ וּמִמֶּ֖גֶד גֶּ֥רֶשׁ יְרָחִֽים׃
καὶ καθ’ ὥραν γενημάτων ἡλίου τροπῶν καὶ ἀπὸ συνόδων μηνῶν
De pomis fructuum solis ac lunae,
ወለለ ፡ ሰዐቱ ፡ እክሉ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ሥርቀተ ፡ ፀሐይ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ኍለቊሆሙ ፡ ለአውራኅ ።
for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, for the precious things that the moon can yield,
33:15
וּמֵרֹ֖אשׁ הַרְרֵי־קֶ֑דֶם וּמִמֶּ֖גֶד גִּבְע֥וֹת עוֹלָֽם׃
καὶ ἀπὸ κορυφῆς ὀρέων ἀρχῆς καὶ ἀπὸ κορυφῆς βουνῶν ἀενάων
de vertice antiquorum montium, de pomis collium aeternorum :
ወይቀድም ፡ እምውስተ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወእምውስተ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ አውግር ፡ ዘአኤናዎን ።
for the best things of the ancient mountains, for the precious things of the everlasting hills,
33:16
וּמִמֶּ֗גֶד אֶ֚רֶץ וּמְלֹאָ֔הּ וּרְצ֥וֹן שֹׁכְנִ֖י סְנֶ֑ה תָּב֙וֹאתָה֙ לְרֹ֣אשׁ יוֹסֵ֔ף וּלְקׇדְקֹ֖ד נְזִ֥יר אֶחָֽיו׃
καὶ καθ’ ὥραν γῆς πληρώσεως καὶ τὰ δεκτὰ τῷ ὀφθέντι ἐν τῷ βάτῳ ἔλθοισαν ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἐπὶ κορυφῆς δοξασθεὶς ἐν ἀδελφοῖς
et de frugibus terrae, et de plenitudine ejus. Benedictio illius qui apparuit in rubo, veniat super caput Joseph, et super verticem nazaraei inter fratres suos.
ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ዘልፈ ፡ ጽግብት ፡ ወሠናይት ፡ ለዘ ፡ አስተርአየ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ባጦስ ፤ ለይምጻእ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ርእሱ ፡ ለዮሴፍ ፡ ወበርእሱ ፡ ይክበር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አኀዊሁ ።
for the precious things of the earth and its fullness, the good will of him who lived in the bush. Let this come on the head of Joseph, on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.
33:17
בְּכ֨וֹר שׁוֹר֜וֹ הָדָ֣ר ל֗וֹ וְקַרְנֵ֤י רְאֵם֙ קַרְנָ֔יו בָּהֶ֗ם עַמִּ֛ים יְנַגַּ֥ח יַחְדָּ֖ו אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ וְהֵם֙ רִבְב֣וֹת אֶפְרַ֔יִם וְהֵ֖ם אַלְפֵ֥י מְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ {ס}
πρωτότοκος ταύρου τὸ κάλλος αὐτοῦ κέρατα μονοκέρωτος τὰ κέρατα αὐτοῦ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἔθνη κερατιεῖ ἅμα ἕως ἐπ’ ἄκρου γῆς αὗται μυριάδες Εφραιμ καὶ αὗται χιλιάδες Μανασση
Quasi primogeniti tauri pulchritudo ejus, cornua rhinocerotis cornua illius : in ipsis ventilabit gentes usque ad terminos terrae. Hae sunt multitudines Ephraim : et haec millia Manasse.
ከመ ፡ በኵረ ፡ ላህም ፡ ሥኖ ፡ ወአቅርንት ፡ ዘአሐዱ ፡ ቀርኑ ፡ አቅርንቲሁ ፡ ወይወግኦሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ እስከ ፡ አጽናፈ ፡ ምድር ፤ ዝንቱ ፡ አእላፍ ፡ ዘኤፍሬም ፡ ውዝንቱ ፡ አእላፍ ፡ ዘምናሴ ።
Majesty belongs to the firstborn of his herd. His horns are the horns of the wild ox. With them he will push all the peoples to the ends of the earth. They are the ten thousands of Ephraim. They are the thousands of Manasseh.”
33:18
וְלִזְבוּלֻ֣ן אָמַ֔ר שְׂמַ֥ח זְבוּלֻ֖ן בְּצֵאתֶ֑ךָ וְיִשָּׂשכָ֖ר בְּאֹהָלֶֽיךָ׃
καὶ τῷ Ζαβουλων εἶπεν εὐφράνθητι Ζαβουλων ἐν ἐξοδίᾳ σου καί Ισσαχαρ ἐν τοῖς σκηνώμασιν αὐτοῦ
Et Zabulon ait : Laetare, Zabulon, in exitu tuo, et Issachar in tabernaculis tuis.
ወለዛቡሎንሂ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ ተፈሣሕ ፡ ዛቡሎን ፡ በፀአትከ ፡ ወይስካር ፡ ቦመኃድሪከ ፤
About Zebulun he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out; and Issachar, in your tents.
33:19
עַמִּים֙ הַר־יִקְרָ֔אוּ שָׁ֖ם יִזְבְּח֣וּ זִבְחֵי־צֶ֑דֶק כִּ֣י שֶׁ֤פַע יַמִּים֙ יִינָ֔קוּ וּשְׂפֻנֵ֖י טְמ֥וּנֵי חֽוֹל׃ {ס}
ἔθνη ἐξολεθρεύσουσιν καὶ ἐπικαλέσεσθε ἐκεῖ καὶ θύσετε θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης ὅτι πλοῦτος θαλάσσης θηλάσει σε καὶ ἐμπόρια παράλιον κατοικούντων
Populos vocabunt ad montem : ibi immolabunt victimas justitiae. Qui inundationem maris quasi lac sugent, et thesauros absconditos arenarum.
አለ ፡ ያጠፍእዎሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ወጸውዑ ፡ በህየ ፡ ወሡዑ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ እስመ ፡ ብዕለ ፡ ባሕር ፡ የሐፅነከ ፡ ወንዋዮሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጰራልያ ።
They will call the peoples to the mountain. There they will offer sacrifices of righteousness, for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, the hidden treasures of the sand.”
33:20
וּלְגָ֣ד אָמַ֔ר בָּר֖וּךְ מַרְחִ֣יב גָּ֑ד כְּלָבִ֣יא שָׁכֵ֔ן וְטָרַ֥ף זְר֖וֹעַ אַף־קׇדְקֹֽד׃
καὶ τῷ Γαδ εἶπεν εὐλογημένος ἐμπλατύνων Γαδ ὡς λέων ἀνεπαύσατο συντρίψας βραχίονα καὶ ἄρχοντα
Et Gad ait : Benedictus in latitudine Gad : quasi leo requievit, cepitque brachium et verticem.
ወለጋድሂ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ ረሓቢ ፡ በረከቱ ፡ ለጋድ ፡ ከመ ፡ አንበሳ ፡ ቀጥቂጦ ፡ መዝራዕተ ፡ መላእክት ።
About Gad he said, “He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness, and tears the arm and the crown of the head.
33:21
וַיַּ֤רְא רֵאשִׁית֙ ל֔וֹ כִּי־שָׁ֛ם חֶלְקַ֥ת מְחֹקֵ֖ק סָפ֑וּן וַיֵּתֵא֙ רָ֣אשֵׁי עָ֔ם צִדְקַ֤ת יְהֹוָה֙ עָשָׂ֔ה וּמִשְׁפָּטָ֖יו עִם־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {ס}
καὶ εἶδεν ἀπαρχὴν αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἐκεῖ ἐμερίσθη γῆ ἀρχόντων συνηγμένων ἅμα ἀρχηγοῖς λαῶν δικαιοσύνην κύριος ἐποίησεν καὶ κρίσιν αὐτοῦ μετὰ Ισραηλ
Et vidit principatum suum, quod in parte sua doctor esset repositus : qui fuit cum principibus populi, et fecit justitias Domini, et judicium suum cum Israël.
ወርእየ ፡ ቀዳሚሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ በህየ ፡ ተካፈልዋ ፡ ለምድረ ፡ መላእክት ፡ እንዛ ፡ ጉቡኣን ፡ መሳፍንት ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ምስለ ፡ መልአከ ፡ ሕዘብ ፡ ወምስለ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ገብረ ፡ ኵነኔሁ ፡ ወጽድ[ቆ] ፡ ምስለ ፡ እስራኤል ።
He provided the first part for himself, for the lawgiver’s portion was reserved for him. He came with the heads of the people. He executed the righteousness of Yahweh, His ordinances with Israel.”
33:22
וּלְדָ֣ן אָמַ֔ר דָּ֖ן גּ֣וּר אַרְיֵ֑ה יְזַנֵּ֖ק מִן־הַבָּשָֽׁן׃
καὶ τῷ Δαν εἶπεν Δαν σκύμνος λέοντος καὶ ἐκπηδήσεται ἐκ τοῦ Βασαν
Dan quoque ait : Dan catulus leonis, fluet largiter de Basan.
ወለዳንሂ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ ዳን ፡ እጓለ ፡ አንበሳ ፡ ወይሠርር ፡ እምነ ፡ ባሳን ።
About Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s cub that leaps out of Bashan.”
33:23
וּלְנַפְתָּלִ֣י אָמַ֔ר נַפְתָּלִי֙ שְׂבַ֣ע רָצ֔וֹן וּמָלֵ֖א בִּרְכַּ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה יָ֥ם וְדָר֖וֹם יְרָֽשָׁה׃ {ס}
καὶ τῷ Νεφθαλι εἶπεν Νεφθαλι πλησμονὴ δεκτῶν καὶ ἐμπλησθήτω εὐλογίαν παρὰ κυρίου θάλασσαν καὶ λίβα κληρονομήσει
Et Nephthali dixit : Nephthali abundantia perfruetur, et plenus erit benedictionibus Domini : mare et meridiem possidebit.
ወለንፍታሌምኒ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ ንፍታሌም ፡ ጽጉብ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሠናይት ፡ ወይጸግብ ፡ እምነ ፡ በረከተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወለይትዋረስ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ ወሊባ ።
About Naphtali he said, “Naphtali, satisfied with favor, full of Yahweh’s blessing, Possess the west and the south.”
33:24
וּלְאָשֵׁ֣ר אָמַ֔ר בָּר֥וּךְ מִבָּנִ֖ים אָשֵׁ֑ר יְהִ֤י רְצוּי֙ אֶחָ֔יו וְטֹבֵ֥ל בַּשֶּׁ֖מֶן רַגְלֽוֹ׃
καὶ τῷ Ασηρ εἶπεν εὐλογητὸς ἀπὸ τέκνων Ασηρ καὶ ἔσται δεκτὸς τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτοῦ βάψει ἐν ἐλαίῳ τὸν πόδα αὐτοῦ
Aser quoque ait : Benedictus in filiis Aser, sit placens fratribus suis, et tingat in oleo pedem suum :
ወለአሴርሂ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ ቡሩክ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እምነ ፡ ውሉድ ፡ አሴር ፡ ወይከውን ፡ ኅሩየ ፡ ለአኀዊሁ ፡ ወየኀፅብ ፡ በቅብእ ፡ እገሪሁ ።
About Asher he said, “Asher is blessed with children. Let him be acceptable to his brothers. Let him dip his foot in oil.
33:25
בַּרְזֶ֥ל וּנְחֹ֖שֶׁת מִנְעָלֶ֑ךָ וּכְיָמֶ֖יךָ דׇּבְאֶֽךָ׃
σίδηρος καὶ χαλκὸς τὸ ὑπόδημα αὐτοῦ ἔσται καὶ ὡς αἱ ἡμέραι σου ἡ ἰσχύς σου
ferrum et aes calceamentum ejus. Sicut dies juventutis tuae, ita et senectus tua.
ወዘኀፂን ፡ ወዘብርት ፡ አሥእኒሁ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ በከመ ፡ መዋዕሊከ ፡ ኀይልከ ።
Your bars will be iron and bronze. As your days, so your strength will be.
33:26
אֵ֥ין כָּאֵ֖ל יְשֻׁר֑וּן רֹכֵ֤ב שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ בְּעֶזְרֶ֔ךָ וּבְגַאֲוָת֖וֹ שְׁחָקִֽים׃
οὐκ ἔστιν ὥσπερ ὁ θεὸς τοῦ ἠγαπημένου ὁ ἐπιβαίνων ἐπὶ τὸν οὐρανὸν βοηθός σου καὶ ὁ μεγαλοπρεπὴς τοῦ στερεώματος
Non est deus alius ut Deus rectissimi, ascensor caeli, auxiliator tuus. Magnificentia ejus discurrunt nubes,
አልቦ ፡ ከመ ፡ አምላኩ ፡ ለፍቁር ፤ ዘይነብር ፡ ዲበ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ረዳኢከ ፡ ወዕበየ ፡ ሥኑ ፡ ለሰማይ ።
“There is no one like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.
33:27
מְעֹנָהֿ֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵי קֶ֔דֶם וּמִתַּ֖חַת זְרֹעֹ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם וַיְגָ֧רֶשׁ מִפָּנֶ֛יךָ אוֹיֵ֖ב וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַשְׁמֵֽד׃
καὶ σκέπασις θεοῦ ἀρχῆς καὶ ὑπὸ ἰσχὺν βραχιόνων ἀενάων καὶ ἐκβαλεῖ ἀπὸ προσώπου σου ἐχθρὸν λέγων ἀπόλοιο
habitaculum ejus sursum, et subter brachia sempiterna ejiciet a facie tua inimicum, dicetque : Conterere.
ወይክድንከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፍጽመ ፡ በኀይለ ፡ መዝራዕተ ፡ አኤናዎን ፡ ወይወፅእ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጽከ ፡ ፀር ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያጥፍኦሙ ።
The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said, ‘Destroy!’
33:28
וַיִּשְׁכֹּן֩ יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל בֶּ֤טַח בָּדָד֙ עֵ֣ין יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב אֶל־אֶ֖רֶץ דָּגָ֣ן וְתִיר֑וֹשׁ אַף־שָׁמָ֖יו יַ֥עַרְפוּ טָֽל׃
καὶ κατασκηνώσει Ισραηλ πεποιθὼς μόνος ἐπὶ γῆς Ιακωβ ἐπὶ σίτῳ καὶ οἴνῳ καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς αὐτῷ συννεφὴς δρόσῳ
Habitabit Israël confidenter, et solus. Oculus Jacob in terra frumenti et vini, caelique caligabunt rore.
ወታነብሮ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ ተአሚኖ ፡ ባሕቲቶ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ስርናይ ፡ ወወይን ፡ ወሰማይኒ ፡ ለከ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ደመና ፡ ወጠል ።
Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
33:29
אַשְׁרֶ֨יךָ*(בספרי תימן אַשְׁרֶ֨יךָ באל״ף גדולה) יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל מִ֣י כָמ֗וֹךָ עַ֚ם נוֹשַׁ֣ע בַּֽיהֹוָ֔ה מָגֵ֣ן עֶזְרֶ֔ךָ וַאֲשֶׁר־חֶ֖רֶב גַּאֲוָתֶ֑ךָ וְיִכָּחֲשׁ֤וּ אֹיְבֶ֙יךָ֙ לָ֔ךְ וְאַתָּ֖ה עַל־בָּמוֹתֵ֥ימוֹ תִדְרֹֽךְ׃ {ס}
μακάριος σύ Ισραηλ τίς ὅμοιός σοι λαὸς σῳζόμενος ὑπὸ κυρίου ὑπερασπιεῖ ὁ βοηθός σου καὶ ἡ μάχαιρα καύχημά σου καὶ ψεύσονταί σε οἱ ἐχθροί σου καὶ σὺ ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτῶν ἐπιβήσῃ
Beatus es tu, Israël : quis similis tui, popule, qui salvaris in Domino ? Scutum auxilii tui, et gladius gloriae tuae : negabunt te inimici tui, et tu eorum colla calcabis.
ወብፁዕ ፡ አንተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ መኑ ፡ ከማከ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ዘእግዚአብሔር ፡ ያድኅኖ ፡ ወያጸንዐከ ፡ ረዳኢከ ፡ ወበመጥባሕትከ ፡ ዕልገትከ ፤ ሐሰው ፡ ፀርከ ፡ አንተ ፡ ትፄዐን ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ክሳዳቲሆሙ ።
You are happy, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yahweh, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency? Your enemies will submit themselves to you. You will tread on their high places.”
