Verbum (https://legeverbum.com) publishes readings of the Bible and early Christian literature in their original languages — Biblical Hebrew, Koine Greek, Latin and Ge'ez — with Chinese and English subtitles and study tools. The service is currently free.

Sources and licensing

Original-language texts: public-domain critical editions
Chinese: Chinese Union Version with New Punctuation (public domain)
English: World English Bible (public domain)
Books outside the 66-book canon (e.g. 1 Enoch): no public-domain Chinese translation exists, so the Chinese is machine-translated by us (Claude) and has not been reviewed by a professional translator; the English is R. H. Charles (1917, public domain). Please check against the original before citing.
Ge'ez source text: 信望愛 Bible tools (bible.fhl.net)
Voices: speech-synthesis models trained by us on recordings licensed in writing from four readers. All four licences expressly waive attribution, so the readers are not named here.
Imagery: public-domain artworks and calligraphy backgrounds made by us

You may watch, listen and share links freely, and play the readings publicly in churches, classrooms and study groups, for personal study, teaching, sermon preparation or research. If you redistribute the video files themselves or publish edited versions, please credit Verbum (https://legeverbum.com). For commercial resale, please ask first.
