12:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Yahweh’s word also came to me, saying,
12:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם בְּת֥וֹךְ בֵּית ־הַמֶּ֖רִי אַתָּ֣ה יֹשֵׁ֑ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֵינַ֩יִם֩ לָהֶ֨ם לִרְא֜וֹת וְלֹ֣א רָא֗וּ אׇזְנַ֨יִם לָהֶ֤ם לִשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙ וְלֹ֣א שָׁמֵ֔עוּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽם ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδικιῶν αὐτῶν σὺ κατοικεῖς οἳ ἔχουσιν ὀφθαλμοὺς τοῦ βλέπειν καὶ οὐ βλέπουσιν καὶ ὦτα ἔχουσιν τοῦ ἀκούειν καὶ οὐκ ἀκούουσιν διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν
Fili hominis , in medio domus exasperantis tu habitas : qui oculos habent ad videndum , et non vident , et aures ad audiendum , et non audiunt : quia domus exasperans est .
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መሪራን ፡ ትነብር ፡ አንተ ፡ እለ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ አዕይንት ፡ በዘይሬእዩ ፡ ወኢይሬእዩ ፡ ወእዝን ፡ ቦሙ ፡ በዘይሰምዑ ፡ ወኢይሰምዑ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መሪራን ፡ እሙንቱ ።
“Son of man, you dwell in the middle of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house.
12:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן ־אָדָ֗ם עֲשֵׂ֤ה לְךָ֙ כְּלֵ֣י גוֹלָ֔ה וּגְלֵ֥ה יוֹמָ֖ם לְעֵינֵיהֶ֑ם וְגָלִ֨יתָ מִמְּקוֹמְךָ֜ אֶל ־מָק֤וֹם אַחֵר֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם אוּלַ֣י יִרְא֔וּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה ׃
καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ποίησον σεαυτῷ σκεύη αἰχμαλωσίας ἡμέρας ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν καὶ αἰχμαλωτευθήσῃ ἐκ τοῦ τόπου σου εἰς ἕτερον τόπον ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν ὅπως ἴδωσιν διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν
Tu ergo , fili hominis , fac tibi vasa transmigrationis , et transmigrabis per diem coram eis . Transmigrabis autem de loco tuo ad locum alterum in conspectu eorum , si forte aspiciant , quia domus exasperans est :
ወአንተ ፡ ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ግበር ፡ ለከ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ፄዋ ፡ ወተፄወው ፡ መዓልተ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ወተፄወው ፡ ወዓልተ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ወተፄወው ፡ መዓልተ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ወተፄወው ፡ እምብሔርከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ካልእ ፡ ብሔር ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይርአዩ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መሪራን ፡ እሙንቱ ።
“Therefore, you son of man, prepare your baggage for moving, and move by day in their sight. You shall move from your place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.
12:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוֹצֵאתָ֨ כֵלֶ֜יךָ כִּכְלֵ֥י גוֹלָ֛ה יוֹמָ֖ם לְעֵינֵיהֶ֑ם וְאַתָּ֗ה תֵּצֵ֤א בָעֶ֙רֶב֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם כְּמוֹצָאֵ֖י גּוֹלָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐξοίσεις τὰ σκεύη σου ὡς σκεύη αἰχμαλωσίας ἡμέρας κατ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ σὺ ἐξελεύσῃ ἑσπέρας ὡς ἐκπορεύεται αἰχμάλωτος
et efferes foras vasa tua quasi vasa transmigrantis per diem in conspectu eorum : tu autem egredieris vespere coram eis , sicut egreditur migrans .
ወትወስድ ፡ ንዋየከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ፄዋ ፡ መዓልተ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይሬእዩ ፡ በአዕይንቲሆሙ ፡ ወትወፅእ ፡ አንተ ፡ ፍና ፡ ሰርክ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ ፄዋ ።
You shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for moving. You shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as when men go out into exile.
12:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם חֲתׇר ־לְךָ֣ בַקִּ֑יר וְהוֹצֵאתָ֖ בּֽוֹ ׃
ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν διόρυξον σεαυτῷ εἰς τὸν τοῖχον καὶ διεξελεύσῃ δῑ αὐτοῦ
Ante oculos eorum perfode tibi parietem , et egredieris per eum .
ወክሪ ፡ አረፍተ ፡ ወፃእ ፡ እንተ ፡ ህየ ።
Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your baggage out that way.
12:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְעֵ֨ינֵיהֶ֜ם עַל ־כָּתֵ֤ף תִּשָּׂא֙ בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה תוֹצִ֔יא פָּנֶ֣יךָ תְכַסֶּ֔ה וְלֹ֥א תִרְאֶ֖ה אֶת ־הָאָ֑רֶץ כִּֽי ־מוֹפֵ֥ת נְתַתִּ֖יךָ לְבֵ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν ἐπ’ ὤμων ἀναλημφθήσῃ καὶ κεκρυμμένος ἐξελεύσῃ τὸ πρόσωπόν σου συγκαλύψεις καὶ οὐ μὴ ἴδῃς τὴν γῆν διότι τέρας δέδωκά σε τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ
In conspectu eorum in humeris portaberis ; in caligine effereris : faciem tuam velabis , et non videbis terram , quia portentum dedi te domui Israël .
በቅድሜሆሙ ። ወጹር ፡ በመታክፍቲከ ፡ ንዋየከ ፡ ወትወፅእ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትትኀባእ ፡ ተገልቢበከ ፡ ገጸከ ፣፡ ወኢትኔጽር ፡ ምድረ ፡ እስመ ፡ ትእምርተ ፡ ረሰይኩከ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ።
In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark. You shall cover your face, so that you don’t see the land, for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel.”
12:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וָאַ֣עַשׂ כֵּן֮ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צֻוֵּ֒יתִי֒ כֵּ֠לַ֠י הוֹצֵ֜אתִי כִּכְלֵ֤י גוֹלָה֙ יוֹמָ֔ם וּבָעֶ֛רֶב חָתַֽרְתִּי ־לִ֥י בַקִּ֖יר בְּיָ֑ד בָּעֲלָטָ֥ה הוֹצֵ֛אתִי עַל ־כָּתֵ֥ף נָשָׂ֖אתִי לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐποίησα οὕτως κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατό μοι καὶ σκεύη ἐξήνεγκα ὡς σκεύη αἰχμαλωσίας ἡμέρας καὶ ἑσπέρας διώρυξα ἐμαυτῷ τὸν τοῖχον καὶ κεκρυμμένος ἐξῆλθον ἐπ’ ὤμων ἀνελήμφθην ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν
Feci ergo sicut praeceperat mihi Dominus : vasa mea protuli quasi vasa transmigrantis per diem , et vespere perfodi mihi parietem manu : et in caligine egressus sum , in humeris portatus in conspectu eorum .
ወገበርኩ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ በከመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘአዘዘኒ ፡ ወአውፃእኩ ፡ ንዋይየ ፡ መዓልተ ፡ ከመ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ፄዋ ፣፡ ወፍና ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ከረይኩ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አረፍት ፡ በእዴየ ፡ ወወፃእኩ ፡ እንዘ ፡ እትኀባእ ፡ ወጾርኩ ፡ ንዋይየ ፡ በመታክፍትየ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ።
I did so as I was commanded. I brought out my baggage by day, as baggage for moving, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my hand. I brought it out in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight.
12:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֧י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֛ה אֵלַ֖י בַּבֹּ֥קֶר לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με τὸ πρωὶ λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini mane ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
In the morning, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
12:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם הֲלֹ֨א אָמְר֥וּ אֵלֶ֛יךָ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑רִי מָ֖ה אַתָּ֥ה עֹשֶֽׂה ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου οὐκ εἶπαν πρὸς σὲ ὁ οἶκος τοῦ Ισραηλ οἶκος ὁ παραπικραίνων τί σὺ ποιεῖς
Fili hominis , numquid non dixerunt ad te domus Israël , domus exasperans : Quid tu facis ?
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፣፡ ኢይቤሉከኑ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ቤተ ፡ መሪራን ፡ ምንተ ፡ ትገብር ።
“Son of man, hasn’t the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, ‘What are you doing?’
12:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֱמֹ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הַנָּשִׂ֞יא הַמַּשָּׂ֤א הַזֶּה֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם וְכׇל ־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֲשֶׁר ־הֵ֥מָּה בְתוֹכָֽם ׃
εἰπὸν πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ὁ ἄρχων καὶ ὁ ἀφηγούμενος ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ παντὶ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ οἵ εἰσιν ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν
Dic ad eos : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Super ducem onus istud , qui est in Jerusalem , et super omnem domum Israël , quae est in medio eorum .
በሎሙ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለመልአክ ፡ ወለመስፍን ፡ ዘኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እለ ፡ በማእከሎሙ ።
“Say to them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are.”’
12:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֱמֹ֖ר אֲנִ֣י מֽוֹפֶתְכֶ֑ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֗יתִי כֵּ֚ן יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם בַּגּוֹלָ֥ה בַשְּׁבִ֖י יֵלֵֽכוּ ׃
εἰπὸν ὅτι ἐγὼ τέρατα ποιῶ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς ὃν τρόπον πεποίηκα οὕτως ἔσται αὐτοῖς ἐν μετοικεσίᾳ καὶ ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ πορεύσονται
Dic : Ego portentum vestrum : quomodo feci , sic fiet illis : in transmigrationem et in captivitatem ibunt .
በል ፡ አነ ፡ ትእምርትክሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ገበርኩ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ይከውን ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ። ወይፄወዉ ፡ በፄዋ ፡ ወይወስድዎሙ ።
“Say, ‘I am your sign. As I have done, so will it be done to them. They will go into exile, into captivity.
12:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַנָּשִׂ֨יא אֲשֶׁר ־בְּתוֹכָ֜ם אֶל ־כָּתֵ֤ף יִשָּׂא֙ בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה וְיֵצֵ֔א בַּקִּ֥יר יַחְתְּר֖וּ לְה֣וֹצִיא ב֑וֹ פָּנָ֣יו יְכַסֶּ֔ה יַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא ־יִרְאֶ֥ה לַעַ֛יִן ה֖וּא אֶת ־הָאָֽרֶץ ׃
καὶ ὁ ἄρχων ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ἐπ’ ὤμων ἀρθήσεται καὶ κεκρυμμένος ἐξελεύσεται διὰ τοῦ τοίχου καὶ διορύξει τοῦ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὸν δῑ αὐτοῦ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ συγκαλύψει ὅπως μὴ ὁραθῇ ὀφθαλμῷ καὶ αὐτὸς τὴν γῆν οὐκ ὄψεται
Et dux qui est in medio eorum , in humeris portabitur ; in caligine egredietur : parietem perfodient , ut educant eum ; facies ejus operietur , ut non videat oculo terram .
ወይወፅእ ፡ መልአክ ፡ ዘማእከሎሙ ፣፡ ውስተ ፡ መትከፍት ፡ ይጸወር ፣፡ ተኀቢኦ ፡ አረፍተ ፡ ሰቍሮ ፡ ተገልቢቦ ፡ ገጾ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይርአይ ፡ በአዕይንቲሁ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ኢይንጽር ፡ ምድረ ።
“‘The prince who is among them will bear his baggage on his shoulder in the dark, and will go out. They will dig through the wall to carry things out that way. He will cover his face, because he will not see the land with his eyes.
12:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤י אֶת ־רִשְׁתִּי֙ עָלָ֔יו וְנִתְפַּ֖שׂ בִּמְצוּדָתִ֑י וְהֵבֵאתִ֨י אֹת֤וֹ בָבֶ֙לָה֙ אֶ֣רֶץ כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים וְאוֹתָ֥הּ לֹֽא ־יִרְאֶ֖ה וְשָׁ֥ם יָמֽוּת ׃
καὶ ἐκπετάσω τὸ δίκτυόν μου ἐπ’ αὐτόν καὶ συλλημφθήσεται ἐν τῇ περιοχῇ μου καὶ ἄξω αὐτὸν εἰς Βαβυλῶνα εἰς γῆν Χαλδαίων καὶ αὐτὴν οὐκ ὄψεται καὶ ἐκεῖ τελευτήσει
Et extendam rete meum super eum , et capietur in sagena mea : et adducam eum in Babylonem , in terram Chaldaeorum , et ipsam non videbit : ibique morietur .
ወእሰፍሕ ፡ መሥገርትየ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ወይሠገር ፡ በማዕገትየ ፡ ወእወስዶ ፡ ባቢሎን ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ፋርስ ፣፡ ወኢይሬኢ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ወይመውት ፡ በህየ ።
I will also spread my net on him, and he will be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet he will not see it, though he will die there.
12:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר סְבִיבֹתָ֥יו עֶזְרֹ֛ה וְכׇל ־אֲגַפָּ֖יו אֱזָרֶ֣ה לְכׇל ־ר֑וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ πάντας τοὺς κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ τοὺς βοηθοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀντιλαμβανομένους αὐτοῦ διασπερῶ εἰς πάντα ἄνεμον καὶ ῥομφαίαν ἐκκενώσω ὀπίσω αὐτῶν
Et omnes qui circa eum sunt , praesidium ejus , et agmina ejus , dispergam in omnem ventum , et gladium evaginabo post eos .
ወለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ዐውዱ ፣፡ እለ ፡ ይረድእዎ ፡ ወለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትዌከፍዎ ፡ እዘርዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነፋሳት ፡ ወእዘሩ ፡ ኲናተ ፡ በድኅሬሆሙ ።
I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him to help him, and all his bands. I will draw out the sword after them.
12:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה בַּהֲפִיצִ֤י אוֹתָם֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אוֹתָ֖ם בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת ׃
καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐν τῷ διασκορπίσαι με αὐτοὺς ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ διασπερῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν ταῖς χώραις
Et scient quia ego Dominus , quando dispersero illos in gentibus , et disseminavero eos in terris .
ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፣፡ ሶበ ፡ ዘረውክዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወእዘርዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በሐውርት ።
“‘They will know that I am Yahweh when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries.
12:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוֹתַרְתִּ֤י מֵהֶם֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר מֵחֶ֖רֶב מֵרָעָ֣ב וּמִדָּ֑בֶר לְמַ֨עַן יְסַפְּר֜וּ אֶת ־כׇּל ־תּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם בַּגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁר ־בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ὑπολείψομαι ἐξ αὐτῶν ἄνδρας ἀριθμῷ ἐκ ῥομφαίας καὶ ἐκ λιμοῦ καὶ ἐκ θανάτου ὅπως ἐκδιηγῶνται πάσας τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῶν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οὗ εἰσήλθοσαν ἐκεῖ καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος
Et relinquam ex eis viros paucos a gladio , et fame , et pestilentia , ut enarrent omnia scelera eorum in gentibus ad quas ingredientur , et scient quia ego Dominus .
ወአተርፍ ፡ ኅዳጣነ ፡ ዕደወ ፡ በኍልቍ ፡ እምኵናት ፡ ወእምረኃብ ፡ ወእምብድብድ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይንግሩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ቦኡ ፡ ውስቴቶሙ ፡ ህየ ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they come. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
12:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
12:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם לַחְמְךָ֖ בְּרַ֣עַשׁ תֹּאכֵ֑ל וּמֵימֶ֕יךָ בְּרׇגְזָ֥ה וּבִדְאָגָ֖ה תִּשְׁתֶּֽה ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τὸν ἄρτον σου μετ’ ὀδύνης φάγεσαι καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ σου μετὰ βασάνου καὶ θλίψεως πίεσαι
Fili hominis , panem tuum in conturbatione comede , sed et aquam tuam in festinatione et moerore bibe .
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ እክለከ ፡ ብላዕ ፡ በሁከት ፡ ወማየከኒ ፡ በፍርሃት ፡ ወበድንጋፄ ፡ ስተይ ።
“Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness.
12:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֶל ־עַ֣ם הָאָ֡רֶץ כֹּֽה ־אָמַר֩ אֲדֹנָ֨י יֱהֹוִ֜ה לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֤י יְרוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ אֶל ־אַדְמַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לַחְמָם֙ בִּדְאָגָ֣ה יֹאכֵ֔לוּ וּמֵימֵיהֶ֖ם בְּשִׁמָּמ֣וֹן יִשְׁתּ֑וּ לְמַ֜עַן תֵּשַׁ֤ם אַרְצָהּ֙ מִמְּלֹאָ֔הּ מֵחֲמַ֖ס כׇּֽל ־הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים בָּֽהּ ׃
καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τῆς γῆς τάδε λέγει κύριος τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν Ιερουσαλημ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τοῦ Ισραηλ τοὺς ἄρτους αὐτῶν μετ’ ἐνδείας φάγονται καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ αὐτῶν μετὰ ἀφανισμοῦ πίονται ὅπως ἀφανισθῇ ἡ γῆ σὺν πληρώματι αὐτῆς ἐν ἀσεβείᾳ γὰρ πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν αὐτῇ
Et dices ad populum terrae : Haec dicit Dominus Deus ad eos qui habitant in Jerusalem , in terra Israël : Panem suum in sollicitudine comedent , et aquam suam in desolatione bibent : ut desoletur terra a multitudine sua , propter iniquitatem omnium qui habitant in ea .
ወበሎሙ ፡ ለሕዝበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እክሎሙአ ፡ በተፅናስ ፡ ይብልዑ ፡ ወማዮሙኒ ፡ በሙስና ፡ ይስተዩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትማስን ፡ ምድር ፡ በምልአ ፡ እስመ ፡ በዓመፃ ፡ ሀለዉ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስቴታ ።
Tell the people of the land, ‘The Lord Yahweh says concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the land of Israel: “They will eat their bread with fearfulness and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein.
12:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהֶעָרִ֤ים הַנּֽוֹשָׁבוֹת֙ תֶּחֱרַ֔בְנָה וְהָאָ֖רֶץ שְׁמָמָ֣ה תִֽהְיֶ֑ה וִידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν αἱ κατοικούμεναι ἐξερημωθήσονται καὶ ἡ γῆ εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἔσται καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Et civitates quae nunc habitantur , desolatae erunt , terraque deserta , et scietis quia ego Dominus .
ወአህጉሪሆሙኒ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብራ ፡ ይማስና ፡ ወምድሮሙኒ ፡ በድወ ፡ ትከውን ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
The cities that are inhabited will be laid waste, and the land will be a desolation. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’”
12:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
12:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֗ם מָֽה ־הַמָּשָׁ֤ל הַזֶּה֙ לָכֶ֔ם עַל ־אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר יַֽאַרְכוּ֙ הַיָּמִ֔ים וְאָבַ֖ד כׇּל ־חָזֽוֹן ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τίς ὑμῖν ἡ παραβολὴ αὕτη ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τοῦ Ισραηλ λέγοντες μακρὰν αἱ ἡμέραι ἀπόλωλεν ὅρασις
Fili hominis , quod est proverbium istud vobis in terra Israël , dicentium : In longum differentur dies , et peribit omnis visio ?
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ምንት ፡ ዘይሜስሉ ፡ በብሔረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዘይብሉ ፡ ጕንዱይ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወጠፍአ ፡ ራእይ ።
“Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails’?
12:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּה ־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִה֒ הִשְׁבַּ֙תִּי֙ אֶת ־הַמָּשָׁ֣ל הַזֶּ֔ה וְלֹֽא ־יִמְשְׁל֥וּ אֹת֛וֹ ע֖וֹד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֚י אִם ־דַּבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם קָֽרְבוּ֙ הַיָּמִ֔ים וּדְבַ֖ר כׇּל ־חָזֽוֹן ׃
διὰ τοῦτο εἰπὸν πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀποστρέψω τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ εἴπωσιν τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην οἶκος τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι λαλήσεις πρὸς αὐτούς ἠγγίκασιν αἱ ἡμέραι καὶ λόγος πάσης ὁράσεως
Ideo dic ad eos : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Quiescere faciam proverbium istud , neque vulgo dicetur ultra in Israël : et loquere ad eos quod appropinquaverint dies , et sermo omnis visionis .
ወበበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እሥዕራ ፡ ለዛቲ ፡ ምሳሌ ፡ ወኢሜስልዎ ፡ እንከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እስራኤል ፣፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ አልጸቀ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወነገረ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ራእይ ።
Tell them therefore, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I will make this proverb to cease, and they will no more use it as a proverb in Israel;”’ but tell them, ‘“The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.
12:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֠י לֹ֣א יִהְיֶ֥ה ע֛וֹד כׇּל ־חֲז֥וֹן שָׁ֖וְא וּמִקְסַ֣ם חָלָ֑ק בְּת֖וֹךְ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
ὅτι οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι πᾶσα ὅρασις ψευδὴς καὶ μαντευόμενος τὰ πρὸς χάριν ἐν μέσῳ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Non enim erit ultra omnis visio cassa , neque divinatio ambigua in medio filiorum Israël :
እስመ ፡ ኢይከውን ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ራእይ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ ወሰገል ፡ ተኀድገ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ።
For there will be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
12:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י ׀ אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה אֲדַבֵּר֙ אֵת֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲדַבֵּ֤ר דָּבָר֙ וְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔ה לֹ֥א תִמָּשֵׁ֖ךְ ע֑וֹד כִּ֣י בִימֵיכֶ֞ם בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֗רִי אֲדַבֵּ֤ר דָּבָר֙ וַעֲשִׂיתִ֔יו נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃ {פ}
διότι ἐγὼ κύριος λαλήσω τοὺς λόγους μου λαλήσω καὶ ποιήσω καὶ οὐ μὴ μηκύνω ἔτι ὅτι ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ὑμῶν οἶκος ὁ παραπικραίνων λαλήσω λόγον καὶ ποιήσω λέγει κύριος
quia ego Dominus loquar , et quodcumque locutus fuero verbum , fiet , et non prolongabitur amplius : sed in diebus vestris , domus exasperans , loquar verbum , et faciam illud , dicit Dominus Deus .
እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘእነብብ ፡ ወእነግር ፡ ቃልየ ፡ ወእገብርሂ ፣፡ ወኢያጐነዲ ፡ እንከ ፡ በመዋዕሊክሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መሪራን ፡ አንትሙ ። ዘነገርኩ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ እገብር ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አዶናይ ።
For I am Yahweh. I will speak, and the word that I speak will be performed. It will be no more deferred; for in your days, rebellious house, I will speak the word and will perform it,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”
12:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini ad me , dicens :
ወእምዝ ፡ ነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Again Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
12:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֗ם הִנֵּ֤ה בֵֽית ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֹֽמְרִ֔ים הֶחָז֛וֹן אֲשֶׁר ־ה֥וּא חֹזֶ֖ה לְיָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וּלְעִתִּ֥ים רְחוֹק֖וֹת ה֥וּא נִבָּֽא ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἰδοὺ οἶκος Ισραηλ ὁ παραπικραίνων λέγοντες λέγουσιν ἡ ὅρασις ἣν οὗτος ὁρᾷ εἰς ἡμέρας πολλάς καὶ εἰς καιροὺς μακροὺς οὗτος προφητεύει
Fili hominis , ecce domus Israël dicentium : Visio quam hic videt , in dies multos et in tempora longa iste prophetat .
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ናሁ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ መሪራን ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ ራእይ ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ ይሬኢ ፡ ለጕንዱይ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወለነዋኅ ፡ ዓመታት ፡ ይትኔበይዝ ።
“Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off.’
12:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה לֹא ־תִמָּשֵׁ֥ךְ ע֖וֹד כׇּל ־דְּבָרָ֑י אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲדַבֵּ֤ר דָּבָר֙ וְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔ה נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃ {פ}
διὰ τοῦτο εἰπὸν πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐ μὴ μηκύνωσιν οὐκέτι πάντες οἱ λόγοι μου οὓς ἂν λαλήσω λαλήσω καὶ ποιήσω λέγει κύριος
Propterea dic ad eos : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Non prolongabitur ultra omnis sermo meus : verbum quod locutus fuero , complebitur , dicit Dominus Deus .
በእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢይርኅቅ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ ዘነበብኩ ፡ ወእነግርሂ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ ወእገብር ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”
