Holofernes said to her, “Woman, take courage. Don’t be afraid in your heart; for I never hurt anyone who has chosen to serve Nebuchadnezzar, the king of all the earth.
11:2
καὶ νῦν ὁ λαός σου ὁ κατοικῶν τὴν ὀρεινὴν εἰ μὴ ἐφαύλισάν με οὐκ ἂν ἦρα τὸ δόρυ μου ἐπ’ αὐτούς ἀλλὰ αὐτοὶ ἑαυτοῖς ἐποίησαν ταῦτα
populus autem tuus, si non contempsisset me, non levassem lanceam meam super eum.
ወይእዜኒ፡ እሉ፡ ሕዝብኪ፡ እለ፡ ይነብሩ፡ ውስተ፡ አድባር፡ ሶበ፡ አኮ፡ ዘዓለዉኒ፡ እምኢያንሣእኩ፡ ኵናትየ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ አላ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ለሊሆሙ፡ ገብርዎ፡ ለዝንቱ።
And now, if your people who dwell in the hill country had not slighted me, I would not have lifted up my spear against them; but they have done these things to themselves.
11:3
καὶ νῦν λέγε μοι τίνος ἕνεκεν ἀπέδρας ἀπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ ἦλθες πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἥκεις γὰρ εἰς σωτηρίαν θάρσει ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ταύτῃ ζήσῃ καὶ εἰς τὸ λοιπόν
Nunc autem dic mihi, qua ex causa recessisti ab illis, et placuit tibi ut venires ad nos ?
ወይእዜኒ፡ ንግርኒ፡ በበይነ፡ ምንት፡ ተኃጣእኪ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ወመጻእኪ፡ ኀቤነ፡ ወባሕቱ፡ ለሕይወትኪ፡ መጻእኪ፡ ተአመኒ፡ ከመ፡ በዛቲ፡ ሌሊት፡ ተሐይዊ፡ ለዝሉፉ።
And now tell me why you fled from them and came to us; for you have come to save yourself. Take courage! You will live tonight, and hereafter;
11:4
οὐ γὰρ ἔστιν ὃς ἀδικήσει σε ἀλλ’ εὖ σε ποιήσει καθὰ γίνεται τοῖς δούλοις τοῦ κυρίου μου βασιλέως Ναβουχοδονοσορ
Et dixit illi Judith : Sume verba ancillæ tuæ, quoniam si secutus fueris verba ancillæ tuæ, perfectam rem faciet Dominus tecum.
ወእመቦ፡ ዘያሐሥም፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ሠናይ፡ ዘንገብር፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ሠናይ፡ ዘንገብር፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ በከመ፡ ንገብር፡ ለአግብርተ፡ እግዚእነ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ናቡከደነፆር።
for there is no one that will wrong you, but all will treat you well, as is done to the servants of king Nebuchadnezzar my lord.”
11:5
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Ιουδιθ δέξαι τὰ ῥήματα τῆς δούλης σου καὶ λαλησάτω ἡ παιδίσκη σου κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ οὐκ ἀναγγελῶ ψεῦδος τῷ κυρίῳ μου ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ταύτῃ
Vivit enim Nabuchodonosor rex terræ, et vivit virtus ejus, quæ est in te ad correptionem omnium animarum errantium : quoniam non solum homines serviunt illi per te, sed et bestiæ agri obtemperant illi.
ወትቤሎ፡ ዮዲት፡ ተወከፍ፡ ቃለ፡ አመትከ፡ ወትነግረከ፡ አመትከ፡ በቅድሜከ፡ ወኢይነግሮ፡ ሐሰተ፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ በዛቲ፡ ሌሊት።
And Judith said to him, “Receive the words of your servant, and let your handmaid speak in your presence, and I will declare no lie to my lord this night.
11:6
καὶ ἐὰν κατακολουθήσῃς τοῖς λόγοις τῆς παιδίσκης σου τελείως πρᾶγμα ποιήσει μετὰ σοῦ ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἀποπεσεῖται ὁ κύριός μου τῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτοῦ
Nuntiatur enim animi tui industria universis gentibus, et indicatum est omni sæculo quoniam tu solus bonus et potens es in omni regno ejus : et disciplina tua omnibus provinciis prædicatur.
ወለእመ፡ ተለውከ፡ ቃለ፡ አመትከ፡ ፍጹመ፡ ግብረ፡ ይገብር፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይስሕት፡ እምዘ፡ ሐለይከ፡ እግዚእየ።
If you will follow the words of your handmaid, God will bring the thing to pass perfectly with you; and my lord will not fail to accomplish his purposes.
11:7
ζῇ γὰρ βασιλεὺς Ναβουχοδονοσορ πάσης τῆς γῆς καὶ ζῇ τὸ κράτος αὐτοῦ ὃς ἀπέστειλέν σε εἰς κατόρθωσιν πάσης ψυχῆς ὅτι οὐ μόνον ἄνθρωποι διὰ σὲ δουλεύουσιν αὐτῷ ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰ θηρία τοῦ ἀγροῦ καὶ τὰ κτήνη καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ διὰ τῆς ἰσχύος σου ζήσονται ἐπὶ Ναβουχοδονοσορ καὶ πάντα τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ
Nec hoc latet, quod locutus est Achior, nec illud ignoratur, quod ei jusseris evenire.
ወሕያው፡ ውእቱ፡ ናቡከደነፆር፡ በኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ ወሕያው፡ ኃይሉ፡ ዘፈነወከ፡ ከመ፡ ታስተራትዕ፡ ኵሎ፡ ከመ፡ አኮ፡ ሰብእ፡ ባሕቲቱ፡ ዘይትቀነይ፡ ሎቱ፡ በዕብሬትከ፡ አላ፡ አራዊተ፡ ገዳምኒ፡ ወእንስሳ፡ ወአዕዋፈ፡ ሰማይኒ፡ በእንተ፡ ኃይልከ፡ ይትቀነዩ፡ ወየሐይዉ፡ ለናቡከደነፆር፡ ወኵሉ፡ ቤቱ።
As Nebuchadnezzar king of all the earth lives, and as his power lives, who has sent you for the preservation of every living thing, not only do men serve him by you, but also the beasts of the field, the cattle, and the birds of the sky will live through your strength, in the time of Nebuchadnezzar and of all his house.
11:8
ἠκούσαμεν γὰρ τὴν σοφίαν σου καὶ τὰ πανουργεύματα τῆς ψυχῆς σου καὶ ἀνηγγέλη πάσῃ τῇ γῇ ὅτι σὺ μόνος ἀγαθὸς ἐν πάσῃ βασιλείᾳ καὶ δυνατὸς ἐν ἐπιστήμῃ καὶ θαυμαστὸς ἐν στρατεύμασιν πολέμου
Constat enim Deum nostrum sic peccatis offensum, ut mandaverit per prophetas suos ad populum quod tradat eum pro peccatis suis.
እስመ፡ ሰማዕነ፡ ግብረከ፡ ወተሰምዓ፡ በኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ ከመ፡ አንተ፡ ባሕቲትከ፡ ኄር፡ በኵሉ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ወጽኑዕ፡ አንተ፡ በኵሉ፡ ግብርከ፡ ወመድምም፡ አንተ፡ በኵሉ፡ ፀብዕከ።
For we have heard of your wisdom and the subtle plans of your soul. It has been reported in all the earth that you only are brave in all the kingdom, mighty in knowledge, and wonderful in feats of war.
11:9
καὶ νῦν ὁ λόγος ὃν ἐλάλησεν Αχιωρ ἐν τῇ συνεδρίᾳ σου ἠκούσαμεν τὰ ῥήματα αὐτοῦ ὅτι περιεποιήσαντο αὐτὸν οἱ ἄνδρες Βαιτυλουα καὶ ἀνήγγειλεν αὐτοῖς πάντα ὅσα ἐξελάλησεν παρὰ σοί
Et quoniam sciunt se offendisse Deum suum filii Israël, tremor tuus super ipsos est.
ወይእዜኒ፡ ቃለ፡ ዘይቤለክሙ፡ አኪዮር፡ ዘይቤ፡ በውስተ፡ ትዕይንትክሙ፡ ሰማዕነ፡ ዘይቤ፡ ወሰብአ፡ ቤጤልዋ፡ አሕየውዎ፡ ወዜነዎሙ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘይቤለክሙ።
And now as concerning the matter which Achior spoke in your council, we have heard his words; for the men of Bethulia saved him, and he declared to them all that he had spoken before you.
11:10
διό δέσποτα κύριε μὴ παρέλθῃς τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ ἀλλὰ κατάθου αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου ὅτι ἐστὶν ἀληθής οὐ γὰρ ἐκδικᾶται τὸ γένος ἡμῶν οὐ κατισχύει ῥομφαία ἐπ’ αὐτούς ἐὰν μὴ ἁμάρτωσιν εἰς τὸν θεὸν αὐτῶν
Insuper etiam fames invasit eos, et ab ariditate aquæ jam inter mortuos computantur.
ወይእዜኒ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ኢታስትት፡ ቃሎ፡ አላ፡ ሢሞ፡ ውስተ፡ ልብከ፡ እስመ፡ አማን፡ ከማሁ፡ ውእቱ፡ እስመ፡ ኢይክልዎሙ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ተበቅሎቶሙ፡ ወኢትክል፡ ኵናት፡ ቀቲሎቶሙ፡ እመ፡ ኢአበሱ፡ ለአምላኮሙ።
Therefore, O lord and master, don’t neglect his word; but lay it up in your heart, for it is true; for our race will not be punished, neither will the sword prevail against them, unless they sin against their God.
11:11
καὶ νῦν ἵνα μὴ γένηται ὁ κύριός μου ἔκβολος καὶ ἄπρακτος καὶ ἐπιπεσεῖται θάνατος ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν καὶ κατελάβετο αὐτοὺς ἁμάρτημα ἐν ᾧ παροργιοῦσιν τὸν θεὸν αὐτῶν ὁπηνίκα ἂν ποιήσωσιν ἀτοπίαν
Denique hoc ordinant, ut interficient pecora sua, et bibant sanguinem eorum :
ወይእዜኒ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይኩን፡ እግዚእየ፡ መስትተ፡ ወዘኢያበቊዕ፡ በዘይበጽሖሙ፡ ሞቶሙ፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጽከ፡ ወበዝ፡ ኃጢአቶ፡ እንተ፡ ባቲ፡ አምዕዕዎ፡ ለአምላኮሙ፡ በግብረ፡ ጌጋዮሙ።
And now, that my lord be not defeated and frustrate of his purpose, and that death may fall upon them, their sin has overtaken them, wherewith they will provoke their God to anger, whenever they do wickedness.
11:12
ἐπεὶ παρεξέλιπεν αὐτοὺς τὰ βρώματα καὶ ἐσπανίσθη πᾶν ὕδωρ ἐβουλεύσαντο ἐπιβαλεῖν τοῖς κτήνεσιν αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα ὅσα διεστείλατο αὐτοῖς ὁ θεὸς τοῖς νόμοις αὐτοῦ μὴ φαγεῖν διέγνωσαν δαπανῆσαι
et sancta Domini Dei sui, quæ præcepit Deus non contingi, in frumento, vino, et oleo, hæc cogitaverunt impendere, et volunt consumere quæ nec manibus deberent contingere : ergo quoniam hæc faciunt, certum est quod in perditionem dabuntur.
እስመ፡ ሐልቀ፡ እክሎሙ፡ ወአፅዋረ፡ ማዮሙ፡ ወገብኡ፡ ይብልዑ፡ እንስሳሆሙ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዘንተ፡ ዘከልኦሙ፡ አምላኮሙ፡ በውስተ፡ ኦሪቶሙ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይብልዑ፡ አልጸቁ፡ ኪያሁ፡ ይብልዑ።
Since their food failed them, and all their water was scant, they took counsel to lay hands upon their cattle, and determined to consume all those things which God charged them by his laws that they should not eat.
11:13
καὶ τὰς ἀπαρχὰς τοῦ σίτου καὶ τὰς δεκάτας τοῦ οἴνου καὶ τοῦ ἐλαίου ἃ διεφύλαξαν ἁγιάσαντες τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν τοῖς παρεστηκόσιν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἀπέναντι τοῦ προσώπου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν κεκρίκασιν ἐξαναλῶσαι ὧν οὐδὲ ταῖς χερσὶν καθῆκεν ἅψασθαι οὐδένα τῶν ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ
Quod ego ancilla tua cognoscens, fugi ab illis, et misit me Dominus hæc ipsa nuntiare tibi.
ወዘቀዳምያተ፡ እክሎሙ፡ ወአሥራተ፡ ወይኖሙኒ፡ ወቅብዖሙኒ፡ ዘዓቀቡ፡ ዝኰ፡ ወዘቀደሱ፡ ለካህናት፡ እለ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጹ፡ ለአምላክነ፡ ሐለዩ፡ ኪያሁ፡ ወኢይከውኖሙ፡ ለገሢሥ፡ በእደዊሆሙ፡ ወኢለአሐዱ፡ እምውስተ፡ ሕዝብ።
They are resolved to spend the first fruits of the corn, and the tenths of the wine and the oil, which they had sanctified and reserved for the priests who stand before the face of our God in Jerusalem; which things it is not fitting for any of the people so much as to touch with their hands.
11:14
καὶ ἀπεστάλκασιν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἐκεῖ κατοικοῦντες ἐποίησαν ταῦτα τοὺς μετακομίσοντας αὐτοῖς τὴν ἄφεσιν παρὰ τῆς γερουσίας
Ego enim ancilla tua Deum colo, etiam nunc apud te : et exiet ancilla tua, et orabo Deum,
ወለአኩ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ እስመ፡ እለኒ፡ ህየ፡ ሀለዉ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይግበሩ፡ ወእለኒ፡ ነሥኡ፡ ዘኅድገት፡ እምኀበ፡ ሊቃውንት፡ ወመሳፍንት።
They have sent some to Jerusalem, because they also that dwell there have done this thing, to bring them permission from the council of elders.
11:15
καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν ἀναγγείλῃ αὐτοῖς καὶ ποιήσωσιν δοθήσονταί σοι εἰς ὄλεθρον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ
et dicet mihi quando eis reddat peccatum suum, et veniens nuntiabo tibi, ita ut ego adducam te per mediam Jerusalem, et habebis omnem populum Israël, sicut oves quibus non est pastor, et non latrabit vel unus canis contra te :
እምከመ፡ ነገርዎሙ፡ ወገብሩ፡ ከመዝ፡ ውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ያገብኦሙ፡ ውስተ፡ እዴከ።
It will be, when brings them word, and they do it, they will be given to you to be destroyed the same day.
11:16
ὅθεν ἐγὼ ἡ δούλη σου ἐπιγνοῦσα ταῦτα πάντα ἀπέδρων ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπέστειλέν με ὁ θεὸς ποιῆσαι μετὰ σοῦ πράγματα ἐφ’ οἷς ἐκστήσεται πᾶσα ἡ γῆ ὅσοι ἐὰν ἀκούσωσιν αὐτά
quoniam hæc mihi dicta sunt per providentiam Dei,
ወሶበ፡ አእመርኩ፡ ዘንተ፡ ኵሎ፡ አነ፡ አመትከ፡ ተኃጣእኩ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ወፈነወኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እግበር፡ ምስሌከ፡ ግብረ፡ ዘአመሰ፡ ምዕዎ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ ይደነግፅ።
Therefore I your servant, knowing all this, fled away from their presence. God sent me to work things with you, at which all the earth will be astonished, even as many as hear it.
11:17
ὅτι ἡ δούλη σου θεοσεβής ἐστιν καὶ θεραπεύουσα νυκτὸς καὶ ἡμέρας τὸν θεὸν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ νῦν μενῶ παρὰ σοί κύριέ μου καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ἡ δούλη σου κατὰ νύκτα εἰς τὴν φάραγγα καὶ προσεύξομαι πρὸς τὸν θεόν καὶ ἐρεῖ μοι πότε ἐποίησαν τὰ ἁμαρτήματα αὐτῶν
et quoniam iratus est illis Deus, hæc ipsa missa sum nuntiare tibi.
እስመ፡ አነ፡ አመትከ፡ ፈራሂተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አነ፡ ወእጸመዶ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወምድር፡ መዓልተ፡ ወሌሊተ፡ አዝዝ፡ ወበል፡ ኢትክልዕዋ፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ እነብር፡ ኀቤከ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ወባሕቱ፡ በሌሊት፡ እወጽእ፡ አመትከ፡ ገዳመ፡ ከመ፡ እጸሊ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይነግረኒ፡ ማዕዜ፡ ዘገብሩ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ።
For your servant is religious, and serves the God of heaven day and night. Now, my lord, I will stay with you, and your servant will go out by night into the valley. I will pray to God, and he will tell me when they have committed their sins.
11:18
καὶ ἐλθοῦσα προσανοίσω σοι καὶ ἐξελεύσῃ σὺν πάσῃ τῇ δυνάμει σου καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς ἀντιστήσεταί σοι ἐξ αὐτῶν
Placuerunt autem omnia verba hæc coram Holoferne, et coram pueris ejus, et mirabantur sapientiam ejus, et dicebant alter ad alterum :
ወእመጽእ፡ ወአየድዐከ፡ ወትወጽእ፡ ምስለ፡ ኵሉ፡ ኃይልከ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይትቃወመከ።
Then I will come and show it also to you. Then you shall go out with all your army, and there will be none of them that will resist you.
11:19
καὶ ἄξω σε διὰ μέσου τῆς Ιουδαίας ἕως τοῦ ἐλθεῖν ἀπέναντι Ιερουσαλημ καὶ θήσω τὸν δίφρον σου ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καὶ ἄξεις αὐτοὺς ὡς πρόβατα οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν ποιμήν καὶ οὐ γρύξει κύων τῇ γλώσσῃ αὐτοῦ ἀπέναντί σου ὅτι ταῦτα ἐλαλήθη μοι κατὰ πρόγνωσίν μου καὶ ἀπηγγέλη μοι καὶ ἀπεστάλην ἀναγγεῖλαί σοι
Non est talis mulier super terram in aspectu, in pulchritudine, et in sensu verborum.
ወእወስደከ፡ እንተ፡ ማዕከለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ እስከ፡ ትበጽሕ፡ ቅድመ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወታነብር፡ መንበረከ፡ ማዕከላ፡ ወታስተጋብኦሙ፡ ወትነሥኦሙ፡ ከመ፡ አባግዕ፡ ዘገደፎሙ፡ ኖላዊሆሙ፡ ወከልብ፡ ኢይልሕስ፡ በልሳኑ፡ በቅድሜከ፡ እስመ፡ ሊተ፡ ከመዝ፡ ነገሩኒ፡ ወአይድዑኒ፡ ወአእሚርየ፡ ተፈነውኩ፡ እንግርከ።
And I will lead you through the midst of Judea, until you come to Jerusalem. I will set your seat in the midst of it. You will drive them as sheep that have no shepherd, and a dog will not so much as open his mouth before you; for these things were told me according to my foreknowledge, and were declared to me, and I was sent to tell you.”
11:20
καὶ ἤρεσαν οἱ λόγοι αὐτῆς ἐναντίον Ολοφέρνου καὶ ἐναντίον πάντων τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐθαύμασαν ἐπὶ τῇ σοφίᾳ αὐτῆς καὶ εἶπαν
Et dixit ad illam Holofernes : Benefecit Deus, qui misit te ante populum, ut des illum tu in manibus nostris :
ወአዳም፡ ቃላ፡ በቅድመ፡ ሆሎፎርኒስ፡ በቅድመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወአንከሩ፡ ጥበቢሃ።
Her words were pleasing in the sight of Holofernes and of all his servants. They marveled at her wisdom, and said,
11:21
οὐκ ἔστιν τοιαύτη γυνὴ ἀπ’ ἄκρου ἕως ἄκρου τῆς γῆς ἐν καλῷ προσώπῳ καὶ συνέσει λόγων
et quoniam bona est promissio tua, si fecerit mihi hoc Deus tuus, erit et Deus meus, et tu in domo Nabuchodonosor magna eris, et nomen tuum nominabitur in universa terra.
ወይቤሉ፡ አልቦ፡ ከመ፡ ዛቲ፡ ብእሲት፡ እምአጽናፈ፡ ምድር፡ እስከ፡ አጽናፈ፡ ምድር፡ በስነ፡ ገጻ፡ ወበጥበበ፡ ቃላ።
“There is not such a woman from one end of the earth to the other, for beauty of face and wisdom of words.”
11:22
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὴν Ολοφέρνης εὖ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς ἀποστείλας σε ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ λαοῦ τοῦ γενηθῆναι ἐν χερσὶν ἡμῶν κράτος ἐν δὲ τοῖς φαυλίσασι τὸν κύριόν μου ἀπώλειαν
—
ወይቤላ፡ ሆሎፎርኒስ፡ ሠናየ፡ ገብረ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ዘፈነወኪ፡ ቅድመ፡ ሕዝብኪ፡ ከመ፡ ትኩኒ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽንዓ፡ እዴነ፡ ወለእለሰ፡ ዐለውዎ፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ሞት፡ ወሕርትምና።
Holofernes said to her, “God did well to send you before the people, that might would be in our hands, and destruction among those who slighted my lord.
11:23
καὶ νῦν ἀστεία εἶ σὺ ἐν τῷ εἴδει σου καὶ ἀγαθὴ ἐν τοῖς λόγοις σου ὅτι ἐὰν ποιήσῃς καθὰ ἐλάλησας ὁ θεός σου ἔσται μου θεός καὶ σὺ ἐν οἴκῳ βασιλέως Ναβουχοδονοσορ καθήσῃ καὶ ἔσῃ ὀνομαστὴ παρὰ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν
—
ወይእዜኒ፡ ሠናይት፡ በራእይኪ፡ አንቲ፡ ወቡርክት፡ አንቲ፡ በቃልኪ፡ ወእመ፡ ገበርኪ፡ በከመ፡ ትቤሊ፡ ይከውነኪ፡ አምላክኪ፡ አምላኪየ፡ ወአንቲ፡ ትነብሪ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቱ፡ ለናቡከደነፆር፡ ወይትሌዓል፡ ስምኪ፡ በኵሉ፡ ምድር።
And now you are beautiful in your countenance, and wise in your words. If you will do as you have spoken, your God will be my God, and you will dwell in the house of king Nebuchadnezzar, and will be renowned through the whole earth.”
