3:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּ֡קׇם אֶלְיָשִׁיב֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן הַגָּד֜וֹל וְאֶחָ֣יו הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים וַיִּבְנוּ֙ אֶת ־שַׁ֣עַר הַצֹּ֔אן הֵ֣מָּה קִדְּשׁ֔וּהוּ וַֽיַּעֲמִ֖ידוּ דַּלְתֹתָ֑יו וְעַד ־מִגְדַּ֤ל הַמֵּאָה֙ קִדְּשׁ֔וּהוּ עַ֖ד מִגְדַּ֥ל חֲנַנְאֵֽל ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἀνέστη Ελισουβ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν τὴν πύλην τὴν προβατικήν αὐτοὶ ἡγίασαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔστησαν θύρας αὐτῆς καὶ ἕως πύργου τῶν ἑκατὸν ἡγίασαν ἕως πύργου Ανανεηλ
Et surrexit Eliasib sacerdos magnus , et fratres ejus sacerdotes , et aedificaverunt portam gregis : ipsi sanctificaverunt eam , et statuerunt valvas ejus , et usque ad turrim centum cubitorum sanctificaverunt eam , usque ad turrim Hananeel .
Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate. They sanctified it, and set up its doors. They sanctified it even to the tower of Hammeah, to the tower of Hananel.
3:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָד֥וֹ בָנ֖וּ אַנְשֵׁ֣י יְרֵח֑וֹ וְעַל ־יָד֣וֹ בָנָ֔ה זַכּ֖וּר בֶּן ־אִמְרִֽי ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρας υἱῶν ἀνδρῶν Ιεριχω καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρας υἱῶν Ζακχουρ υἱοῦ Αμαρι
Et juxta eum aedificaverunt viri Jericho : et juxta eum aedificavit Zachur filius Amri .
Next to him the men of Jericho built. Next to them Zaccur the son of Imri built.
3:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵת֙ שַׁ֣עַר הַדָּגִ֔ים בָּנ֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י הַסְּנָאָ֑ה הֵ֣מָּה קֵר֔וּהוּ וַֽיַּעֲמִ֙ידוּ֙ דַּלְתֹתָ֔יו מַנְעוּלָ֖יו וּבְרִיחָֽיו ׃ {ס}
καὶ τὴν πύλην τὴν ἰχθυηρὰν ᾠκοδόμησαν υἱοὶ Ασανα αὐτοὶ ἐστέγασαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔστησαν θύρας αὐτῆς καὶ κλεῖθρα αὐτῆς καὶ μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς
Portam autem piscium aedificaverunt filii Asnaa : ipsi texerunt eam , et statuerunt valvas ejus , et seras , et vectes . Et juxta eos aedificavit Marimuth filius Uriae , filii Accus .
The sons of Hassenaah built the fish gate. They laid its beams, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
3:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָדָ֣ם הֶחֱזִ֗יק מְרֵמ֤וֹת בֶּן ־אוּרִיָּה֙ בֶּן ־הַקּ֔וֹץ {ס} וְעַל ־יָדָ֣ם הֶחֱזִ֔יק מְשֻׁלָּ֥ם בֶּן ־בֶּרֶכְיָ֖ה בֶּן ־מְשֵׁיזַבְאֵ֑ל {ס} וְעַל ־יָדָ֣ם הֶֽחֱזִ֔יק צָד֖וֹק בֶּֽן ־בַּעֲנָֽא ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν κατέσχεν ἀπὸ Ραμωθ υἱὸς Ουρια υἱοῦ Ακως καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν κατέσχεν Μοσολλαμ υἱὸς Βαραχιου υἱοῦ Μασεζεβηλ καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν κατέσχεν Σαδωκ υἱὸς Βαανα
Et juxta eum aedificavit Mosollam filius Barachiae , filii Mesezebel : et juxta eos aedificavit Sadoc filius Baana .
Next to them, Meremoth the son of Uriah, the son of Hakkoz made repairs. Next to them, Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel made repairs. Next to them, Zadok the son of Baana made repairs.
3:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָדָ֖ם הֶחֱזִ֣יקוּ הַתְּקוֹעִ֑ים וְאַדִּֽירֵיהֶם֙ לֹא ־הֵבִ֣יאוּ צַוָּרָ֔ם בַּעֲבֹדַ֖ת אֲדֹנֵיהֶֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν κατέσχοσαν οἱ Θεκωιν καὶ αδωρηεμ οὐκ εἰσήνεγκαν τράχηλον αὐτῶν εἰς δουλείαν αὐτῶν
Et juxta eos aedificaverunt Thecueni : optimates autem eorum non supposuerunt colla sua in opere Domini sui .
Next to them, the Tekoites made repairs; but their nobles didn’t put their necks to the Lord’s work.
3:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵת֩ שַׁ֨עַר הַיְשָׁנָ֜ה הֶחֱזִ֗יקוּ יֽוֹיָדָע֙ בֶּן ־פָּסֵ֔חַ וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם בֶּן ־בְּסֽוֹדְיָ֑ה הֵ֣מָּה קֵר֔וּהוּ וַֽיַּעֲמִ֙ידוּ֙ דַּלְתֹתָ֔יו וּמַנְעֻלָ֖יו וּבְרִיחָֽיו ׃ {ס}
καὶ τὴν πύλην τοῦ Ισανα ἐκράτησαν Ιοϊδα υἱὸς Φασεκ καὶ Μεσουλαμ υἱὸς Βασωδια αὐτοὶ ἐστέγασαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔστησαν θύρας αὐτῆς καὶ κλεῖθρα αὐτῆς καὶ μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς
Et portam veterem aedificaverunt Jojada filius Phasea , et Mosollam filius Besodia : ipsi texerunt eam , et statuerunt valvas ejus , et seras , et vectes .
Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah repaired the old gate. They laid its beams and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
3:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָדָ֨ם הֶחֱזִ֜יק מְלַטְיָ֣ה הַגִּבְעֹנִ֗י וְיָדוֹן֙ הַמֵּרֹ֣נֹתִ֔י אַנְשֵׁ֥י גִבְע֖וֹן וְהַמִּצְפָּ֑ה לְכִסֵּ֕א פַּחַ֖ת עֵ֥בֶר הַנָּהָֽר ׃ {ס}
— Et juxta eos aedificaverunt Meltias Gabaonites , et Jadon Meronathites , viri de Gabaon et Maspha , pro duce qui erat in regione trans flumen .
Next to them, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, repaired the residence of the governor beyond the River.
3:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־יָד֣וֹ הֶחֱזִ֗יק עֻזִּיאֵ֤ל בֶּֽן ־חַרְהֲיָה֙ צֽוֹרְפִ֔ים {ס} וְעַל ־יָד֣וֹ הֶחֱזִ֔יק חֲנַנְיָ֖ה בֶּן ־הָרַקָּחִ֑ים וַיַּֽעַזְבוּ֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם עַ֖ד הַחוֹמָ֥ה הָרְחָבָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν ἐκράτησεν Ανανιας υἱὸς τοῦ Ρωκεϊμ καὶ κατέλιπον Ιερουσαλημ ἕως τοῦ τείχους τοῦ πλατέος
Et juxta eum aedificavit Eziel filius Araia aurifex : et juxta eum aedificavit Ananias filius pigmentarii : et dimiserunt Jerusalem usque ad murum plateae latioris .
Next to him, Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, made repairs. Next to him, Hananiah, one of the perfumers, made repairs, and they fortified Jerusalem even to the wide wall.
3:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָדָ֤ם הֶחֱזִיק֙ רְפָיָ֣ה בֶן ־ח֔וּר שַׂ֕ר חֲצִ֖י פֶּ֥לֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν ἐκράτησεν Ραφαια ἄρχων ἡμίσους περιχώρου Ιερουσαλημ
Et juxta eum aedificavit Raphaia filius Hur , princeps vici Jerusalem .
Next to them, Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, made repairs.
3:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָדָ֧ם הֶחֱזִ֛יק יְדָיָ֥ה בֶן ־חֲרוּמַ֖ף וְנֶ֣גֶד בֵּית֑וֹ וְעַל ־יָד֣וֹ הֶחֱזִ֔יק חַטּ֖וּשׁ בֶּן ־חֲשַׁבְנְיָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτῶν ἐκράτησεν Ιεδαια υἱὸς Ερωμαφ καὶ κατέναντι οἰκίας αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐκράτησεν Ατους υἱὸς Ασβανια
Et juxta eum aedificavit Jedaia filius Haromaph contra domum suam : et juxta eum aedificavit Hattus filius Haseboniae .
Next to them, Jedaiah the son of Harumaph made repairs across from his house. Next to him, Hattush the son of Hashabneiah made repairs.
3:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֗ית הֶחֱזִיק֙ מַלְכִּיָּ֣ה בֶן ־חָרִ֔ם וְחַשּׁ֖וּב בֶּן ־פַּחַ֣ת מוֹאָ֑ב וְאֵ֖ת מִגְדַּ֥ל הַתַּנּוּרִֽים ׃ {ס}
καὶ δεύτερος ἐκράτησεν Μελχιας υἱὸς Ηραμ καὶ Ασουβ υἱὸς Φααθμωαβ καὶ ἕως πύργου τῶν θαννουριμ
Mediam partem vici aedificavit Melchias filius Herem , et Hasub filius Phahath Moab , et turrim furnorum .
Malchijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahathmoab repaired another portion and the tower of the furnaces.
3:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל ־יָד֣וֹ הֶחֱזִ֗יק שַׁלּוּם֙ בֶּן ־הַלּוֹחֵ֔שׁ שַׂ֕ר חֲצִ֖י פֶּ֣לֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם ה֖וּא וּבְנוֹתָֽיו ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐκράτησεν Σαλουμ υἱὸς Αλλωης ἄρχων ἡμίσους περιχώρου Ιερουσαλημ αὐτὸς καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτοῦ
Et juxta eum aedificavit Sellum filius Alohes , princeps mediae partis vici Jerusalem , ipse et filiae ejus .
Next to him, Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters made repairs.
3:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵת֩ שַׁ֨עַר הַגַּ֜יְא הֶחֱזִ֣יק חָנוּן֮ וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י זָנ֒וֹחַ֒ הֵ֣מָּה בָנ֔וּהוּ וַֽיַּעֲמִ֙ידוּ֙ דַּלְתֹתָ֔יו מַנְעֻלָ֖יו וּבְרִיחָ֑יו וְאֶ֤לֶף אַמָּה֙ בַּחוֹמָ֔ה עַ֖ד שַׁ֥עַר הָשְׁפֽוֹת ׃
τὴν πύλην τῆς φάραγγος ἐκράτησαν Ανουν καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Ζανω αὐτοὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔστησαν θύρας αὐτῆς καὶ κλεῖθρα αὐτῆς καὶ μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς καὶ χιλίους πήχεις ἐν τῷ τείχει ἕως πύλης τῆς κοπρίας
Et portam vallis aedificavit Hanun , et habitatores Zanoë : ipsi aedificaverunt eam , et statuerunt valvas ejus , et seras , et vectes , et mille cubitos in muro usque ad portam sterquilinii .
Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the valley gate. They built it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and one thousand cubits of the wall to the dung gate.
3:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שַׁ֣עַר הָאַשְׁפּ֗וֹת הֶחֱזִיק֙ מַלְכִּיָּ֣ה בֶן ־רֵכָ֔ב שַׂ֖ר פֶּ֣לֶךְ בֵּית ־הַכָּ֑רֶם ה֣וּא יִבְנֶ֔נּוּ וְיַעֲמִיד֙ דַּלְתֹתָ֔יו מַנְעֻלָ֖יו וּבְרִיחָֽיו ׃ {ס}
καὶ τὴν πύλην τῆς κοπρίας ἐκράτησεν Μελχια υἱὸς Ρηχαβ ἄρχων περιχώρου Βηθαχαρμ αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐσκέπασαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἔστησαν θύρας αὐτῆς καὶ κλεῖθρα αὐτῆς καὶ μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς
Et portam sterquilinii aedificavit Melchias filius Rechab , princeps vici Bethacharam : ipse aedificavit eam , et statuit valvas ejus , et seras , et vectes .
Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth Haccherem, repaired the dung gate. He built it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
3:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵת֩ שַׁ֨עַר הָעַ֜יִן הֶ֠חֱזִ֠יק שַׁלּ֣וּן בֶּן ־כׇּל ־חֹזֶה֮ שַׂ֣ר פֶּ֣לֶךְ הַמִּצְפָּה֒ ה֤וּא יִבְנֶ֙נּוּ֙ וִיטַֽלְלֶ֔נּוּ (ויעמידו ) [וְיַעֲמִיד֙ ] דַּלְתֹתָ֔יו מַנְעֻלָ֖יו וּבְרִיחָ֑יו וְ֠אֵ֠ת חוֹמַ֞ת בְּרֵכַ֤ת הַשֶּׁ֙לַח֙ לְגַן ־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְעַד ־הַֽמַּעֲל֔וֹת הַיּוֹרְד֖וֹת מֵעִ֥יר דָּוִֽיד ׃ {ס}
καὶ τὸ τεῖχος κολυμβήθρας τῶν κωδίων τῇ κουρᾷ τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ἕως τῶν κλιμάκων τῶν καταβαινουσῶν ἀπὸ πόλεως Δαυιδ
Et portam fontis aedificavit Sellum filius Cholhoza , princeps pagi Maspha : ipse aedificavit eam , et texit , et statuit valvas ejus , et seras , et vectes , et muros piscinae Siloë in hortum regis , et usque ad gradus qui descendunt de civitate David .
Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the spring gate. He built it, covered it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars; and he repaired the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king’s garden, even to the stairs that go down from David’s city.
3:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֤יו הֶחֱזִיק֙ נְחֶמְיָ֣ה בֶן ־עַזְבּ֔וּק שַׂ֕ר חֲצִ֖י פֶּ֣לֶךְ בֵּֽית ־צ֑וּר עַד ־נֶ֙גֶד֙ קִבְרֵ֣י דָוִ֔יד וְעַד ־הַבְּרֵכָה֙ הָעֲשׂוּיָ֔ה וְעַ֖ד בֵּ֥ית הַגִּבֹּרִֽים ׃ {ס}
ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ ἐκράτησεν Νεεμιας υἱὸς Αζαβουχ ἄρχων ἡμίσους περιχώρου Βηθσουρ ἕως κήπου τάφου Δαυιδ καὶ ἕως τῆς κολυμβήθρας τῆς γεγονυίας καὶ ἕως Βηθαγγαβαριμ
Post eum aedificavit Nehemias filius Azboc , princeps dimidiae partis vici Bethsur , usque contra sepulchrum David , et usque ad piscinam quae grandi opere constructa est , et usque ad domum fortium .
After him, Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs to the place opposite the tombs of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty men.
3:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֛יו הֶחֱזִ֥יקוּ הַלְוִיִּ֖ם רְח֣וּם בֶּן ־בָּנִ֑י {ס} עַל ־יָד֣וֹ הֶחֱזִ֗יק חֲשַׁבְיָ֛ה שַׂר ־חֲצִי ־פֶ֥לֶךְ קְעִילָ֖ה לְפִלְכּֽוֹ ׃ {ס}
ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ ἐκράτησαν οἱ Λευῖται Ραουμ υἱὸς Βανι ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐκράτησεν Ασαβια ἄρχων ἡμίσους περιχώρου Κεϊλα τῷ περιχώρῳ αὐτοῦ
Post eum aedificaverunt Levitae , Rehum filius Benni : post eum aedificavit Hasebias princeps dimidiae partis vici Ceilae in vico suo .
After him, the Levites—Rehum the son of Bani made repairs. Next to him, Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, made repairs for his district.
3:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָיו֙ הֶחֱזִ֣יקוּ אֲחֵיהֶ֔ם בַּוַּ֖י בֶּן ־חֵנָדָ֑ד שַׂ֕ר חֲצִ֖י פֶּ֥לֶךְ קְעִילָֽה ׃ {ס}
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησαν ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν Βενι υἱὸς Ηναδαδ ἄρχων ἡμίσους περιχώρου Κεϊλα
Post eum aedificaverunt fratres eorum : Bavai filius Enadad , princeps dimidiae partis Ceilae :
After him, their brothers, Bavvai the son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah made repairs.
3:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְחַזֵּ֨ק עַל ־יָד֜וֹ עֵ֧זֶר בֶּן ־יֵשׁ֛וּעַ שַׂ֥ר הַמִּצְפָּ֖ה מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֑ית מִנֶּ֕גֶד עֲלֹ֥ת הַנֶּ֖שֶׁק הַמִּקְצֹֽעַ ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐκράτησεν ἐπὶ χεῖρα αὐτοῦ Αζουρ υἱὸς Ἰησοῦ ἄρχων τοῦ Μασφε μέτρον δεύτερον πύργου ἀναβάσεως τῆς συναπτούσης τῆς γωνίας
et aedificavit juxta eum Azer filius Josue , princeps Maspha , mensuram secundam , contra ascensum firmissimi anguli .
Next to him, Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, repaired another portion across from the ascent to the armory at the turning of the wall.
3:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֨יו הֶחֱרָ֧ה הֶחֱזִ֛יק בָּר֥וּךְ בֶּן ־[זַכַּ֖י ] (זבי ) מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֑ית מִ֨ן ־הַמִּקְצ֔וֹעַ עַד ־פֶּ֙תַח֙ בֵּ֣ית אֶלְיָשִׁ֔יב הַכֹּהֵ֖ן הַגָּדֽוֹל ׃ {ס}
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Βαρουχ υἱὸς Ζαβου μέτρον δεύτερον ἀπὸ τῆς γωνίας ἕως θύρας Βηθελισουβ τοῦ ἱερέως τοῦ μεγάλου
Post eum in monte aedificavit Baruch filius Zachai mensuram secundam , ab angulo usque ad portam domus Eliasib sacerdotis magni .
After him, Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired another portion, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
3:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֣יו הֶחֱזִ֗יק מְרֵמ֧וֹת בֶּן ־אוּרִיָּ֛ה בֶּן ־הַקּ֖וֹץ מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֑ית מִפֶּ֙תַח֙ בֵּ֣ית אֶלְיָשִׁ֔יב וְעַד ־תַּכְלִ֖ית בֵּ֥ית אֶלְיָשִֽׁיב ׃ {ס}
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Μεραμωθ υἱὸς Ουρια υἱοῦ Ακως μέτρον δεύτερον ἀπὸ θύρας Βηθελισουβ ἕως ἐκλείψεως Βηθελισουβ
Post eum aedificavit Merimuth filius Uriae filii Haccus , mensuram secundam , a porta domus Eliasib , donec extenderetur domus Eliasib .
After him, Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz repaired another portion, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
3:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַחֲרָ֛יו הֶחֱזִ֥יקוּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים אַנְשֵׁ֥י הַכִּכָּֽר ׃
καὶ μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησαν οἱ ἱερεῖς ἄνδρες Αχεχαρ
Et post eum aedificaverunt sacerdotes , viri de campestribus Jordanis .
After him, the priests, the men of the surrounding area made repairs.
3:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֨יו הֶחֱזִ֧יק בִּנְיָמִ֛ן וְחַשּׁ֖וּב נֶ֣גֶד בֵּיתָ֑ם {ס} אַחֲרָ֣יו הֶחֱזִ֗יק עֲזַרְיָ֧ה בֶן ־מַעֲשֵׂיָ֛ה בֶּן ־עֲנָֽנְיָ֖ה אֵ֥צֶל בֵּיתֽוֹ ׃ {ס}
καὶ μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Βενιαμιν καὶ Ασουβ κατέναντι οἴκου αὐτῶν μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Αζαρια υἱὸς Μαασηα υἱοῦ Ανανια ἐχόμενα οἴκου αὐτοῦ
Post eum aedificavit Benjamin et Hasub contra domum suam : et post eum aedificavit Azarias filius Maasiae filii Ananiae contra domum suam .
After them, Benjamin and Hasshub made repairs across from their house. After them, Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah made repairs beside his own house.
3:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֣יו הֶחֱזִ֗יק בִּנּ֛וּי בֶּן ־חֵנָדָ֖ד מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֑ית מִבֵּ֣ית עֲזַרְיָ֔ה עַד ־הַמִּקְצ֖וֹעַ וְעַד ־הַפִּנָּֽה ׃
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Βανι υἱὸς Ηναδαδ μέτρον δεύτερον ἀπὸ Βηθαζαρια ἕως τῆς γωνίας καὶ ἕως τῆς καμπῆς
Post eum aedificavit Bennui filius Henadad mensuram secundam , a domo Azariae usque ad flexuram , et usque ad angulum .
After him, Binnui the son of Henadad repaired another portion, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, and to the corner.
3:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ פָּלָ֣ל בֶּן ־אוּזַי֮ מִנֶּ֣גֶד הַמִּקְצ֒וֹעַ֒ וְהַמִּגְדָּ֗ל הַיּוֹצֵא֙ מִבֵּ֤ית הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ הָֽעֶלְי֔וֹן אֲשֶׁ֖ר לַחֲצַ֣ר הַמַּטָּרָ֑ה אַחֲרָ֖יו פְּדָיָ֥ה בֶן ־פַּרְעֹֽשׁ ׃ {ס}

Phalel filius Ozi contra flexuram , et turrim quae eminet de domo regis excelsa , id est , in atrio carceris : post eum Phadaia filius Pharos .

3:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַ֨נְּתִינִ֔ים הָי֥וּ יֹשְׁבִ֖ים בָּעֹ֑פֶל עַ֠ד נֶ֜גֶד שַׁ֤עַר הַמַּ֙יִם֙ לַמִּזְרָ֔ח וְהַמִּגְדָּ֖ל הַיּוֹצֵֽא ׃ {ס}
καὶ οἱ ναθινιμ ἦσαν οἰκοῦντες ἐν τῷ Ωφαλ ἕως κήπου πύλης τοῦ ὕδατος εἰς ἀνατολάς καὶ ὁ πύργος ὁ ἐξέχων
Nathinaei autem habitabant in Ophel usque contra portam aquarum ad orientem , et turrim quae prominebat .
(Now the temple servants lived in Ophel, to the place opposite the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stands out.)
3:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֛יו הֶחֱזִ֥יקוּ הַתְּקֹעִ֖ים מִדָּ֣ה שֵׁנִ֑ית מִנֶּ֜גֶד הַמִּגְדָּ֤ל הַגָּדוֹל֙ הַיּוֹצֵ֔א וְעַ֖ד חוֹמַ֥ת הָעֹֽפֶל ׃
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησαν οἱ Θεκωιν μέτρον δεύτερον ἐξ ἐναντίας τοῦ πύργου τοῦ μεγάλου τοῦ ἐξέχοντος καὶ ἕως τοῦ τείχους τοῦ Οφλα
Post eum aedificaverunt Thecueni mensuram secundam e regione , a turre magna et eminente usque ad murum templi .
After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, opposite the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel.
3:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ מֵעַ֣ל ׀ שַׁ֣עַר הַסּוּסִ֗ים הֶחֱזִ֙יקוּ֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים אִ֖ישׁ לְנֶ֥גֶד בֵּיתֽוֹ ׃ {ס}
ἀνώτερον πύλης τῶν ἵππων ἐκράτησαν οἱ ἱερεῖς ἀνὴρ ἐξ ἐναντίας οἴκου αὐτοῦ
Sursum autem a porta equorum aedificaverunt sacerdotes , unusquisque contra domum suam .

3:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַחֲרָ֧יו הֶחֱזִ֛יק צָד֥וֹק בֶּן ־אִמֵּ֖ר נֶ֣גֶד בֵּית֑וֹ {ס} וְאַחֲרָ֤יו הֶחֱזִיק֙ שְׁמַֽעְיָ֣ה בֶן ־שְׁכַנְיָ֔ה שֹׁמֵ֖ר שַׁ֥עַר הַמִּזְרָֽח ׃ {ס}
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Σαδδουκ υἱὸς Εμμηρ ἐξ ἐναντίας οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Σαμαια υἱὸς Σεχενια φύλαξ τῆς πύλης τῆς ἀνατολῆς
Post eos aedificavit Sadoc filius Emmer contra domum suam . Et post eum aedificavit Semaia filius Secheniae , custos portae orientalis .
After them, Zadok the son of Immer made repairs across from his own house. After him, Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate, made repairs.

μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Ανανια υἱὸς Σελεμια καὶ Ανουμ υἱὸς Σελεφ ὁ ἕκτος μέτρον δεύτερον μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Μεσουλαμ υἱὸς Βαρχια ἐξ ἐναντίας γαζοφυλακίου αὐτοῦ
Post eum aedificavit Hanania filius Selemiae , et Hanun filius Seleph sextus , mensuram secundam : post eum aedificavit Mosollam filius Barachiae , contra gazophylacium suum . Post eum aedificavit Melchias filius aurificis usque ad domum Nathinaeorum , et scruta vendentium contra portam judicialem , et usque ad coenaculum anguli .
After him, Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sixth son of Zalaph, repaired another portion. After him, Meshullam the son of Berechiah made repairs across from his room.
3:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ (אחרי ) [אַחֲרָ֣יו ] הֶחֱזִ֗יק מַלְכִּיָּה֙ בֶּן ־הַצֹּ֣רְפִ֔י עַד ־בֵּ֥ית הַנְּתִינִ֖ים וְהָרֹכְלִ֑ים נֶ֚גֶד שַׁ֣עַר הַמִּפְקָ֔ד וְעַ֖ד עֲלִיַּ֥ת הַפִּנָּֽה ׃
μετ’ αὐτὸν ἐκράτησεν Μελχια υἱὸς τοῦ Σαραφι ἕως Βηθαναθινιμ καὶ οἱ ῥοποπῶλαι ἀπέναντι πύλης τοῦ Μαφεκαδ καὶ ἕως ἀναβάσεως τῆς καμπῆς
Et inter coenaculum anguli in porta gregis , aedificaverunt aurifices et negotiatores .
After him, Malchijah, one of the goldsmiths to the house of the temple servants, and of the merchants, made repairs opposite the gate of Hammiphkad and to the ascent of the corner.

καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον ἀναβάσεως τῆς πύλης τῆς προβατικῆς ἐκράτησαν οἱ χαλκεῖς καὶ οἱ ῥοποπῶλαι

3:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֞י כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר שָׁמַ֣ע סַנְבַלַּ֗ט כִּֽי ־אֲנַ֤חְנוּ בוֹנִים֙ אֶת ־הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה וַיִּ֣חַר ל֔וֹ וַיִּכְעַ֖ס הַרְבֵּ֑ה וַיַּלְעֵ֖ג עַל ־הַיְּהוּדִֽים ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ἡνίκα ἤκουσεν Σαναβαλλατ ὅτι ἡμεῖς οἰκοδομοῦμεν τὸ τεῖχος καὶ πονηρὸν ἦν αὐτῷ καὶ ὠργίσθη ἐπὶ πολὺ καὶ ἐξεγέλα ἐπὶ τοῖς Ιουδαίοις

καὶ εἶπεν ἐνώπιον τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ αὕτη ἡ δύναμις Σομορων ὅτι οἱ Ιουδαῖοι οὗτοι οἰκοδομοῦσιν τὴν ἑαυτῶν πόλιν

καὶ Τωβιας ὁ αμμανίτης ἐχόμενα αὐτοῦ ἦλθεν καὶ εἶπαν πρὸς ἑαυτούς μὴ θυσιάσουσιν ἢ φάγονται ἐπὶ τοῦ τόπου αὐτῶν οὐχὶ ἀναβήσεται ἀλώπηξ καὶ καθελεῖ τὸ τεῖχος λίθων αὐτῶν

ἄκουσον ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ὅτι ἐγενήθημεν εἰς μυκτηρισμόν καὶ ἐπίστρεψον ὀνειδισμὸν αὐτῶν εἰς κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν καὶ δὸς αὐτοὺς εἰς μυκτηρισμὸν ἐν γῇ αἰχμαλωσίας
