28:1
ὁ ἐκδικῶν παρὰ κυρίου εὑρήσει ἐκδίκησιν καὶ τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ διατηρῶν διατηρήσει
He that takes vengeance will find vengeance from the Lord; And he will surely make firm his sins.
報復的人必從主那裡遭報，主必牢牢記住他的罪。
28:2
ἄφες ἀδίκημα τῷ πλησίον σου καὶ τότε δεηθέντος σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου λυθήσονται
Forgive your neighbor the hurt that he has done you; And then your sins will be pardoned when you pray.
要饒恕鄰舍向你所行的虧負，這樣你祈求時，你的罪也必得赦免。
28:3
ἄνθρωπος ἀνθρώπῳ συντηρεῖ ὀργήν καὶ παρὰ κυρίου ζητεῖ ἴασιν
Man cherisheth anger against man; And does he seek healing from the Lord?
人向人懷怒，怎能向主求醫治呢？
28:4
ἐπ’ ἄνθρωπον ὅμοιον αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔχει ἔλεος καὶ περὶ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτοῦ δεῖται
Upon a man like himself he has no mercy; And does he make supplication for his own sins?
他向與自己一樣的人毫無憐憫，怎能為自己的罪祈求呢？
28:5
αὐτὸς σὰρξ ὢν διατηρεῖ μῆνιν τίς ἐξιλάσεται τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ
He being himself flesh nourishes wrath: Who will make atonement for his sins?
他自己不過是血肉，卻懷藏惱恨，誰能為他的罪贖罪呢？
28:6
μνήσθητι τὰ ἔσχατα καὶ παῦσαι ἐχθραίνων καταφθορὰν καὶ θάνατον καὶ ἔμμενε ἐντολαῖς
Remember your last end, and cease from enmity: Remember corruption and death, and abide in the commandments.
要記念你的結局，止息仇恨；要記念敗壞與死亡，恆守誡命。
28:7
μνήσθητι ἐντολῶν καὶ μὴ μηνίσῃς τῷ πλησίον καὶ διαθήκην ὑψίστου καὶ πάριδε ἄγνοιαν
Remember the commandments, and be not angry with your neighbor; And remember the covenant of the Highest, and wink at ignorance.
要記念誡命，不要向鄰舍懷怒；要記念至高者的約，寬容人的無知。
28:8
ἀπόσχου ἀπὸ μάχης καὶ ἐλαττώσεις ἁμαρτίας ἄνθρωπος γὰρ θυμώδης ἐκκαύσει μάχην
Abstain from strife, and you will diminish your sins: For a passionate man will kindle strife;
要遠離爭鬥，你的罪過便減少；因為暴怒的人煽起爭端。
28:9
καὶ ἀνὴρ ἁμαρτωλὸς ταράξει φίλους καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον εἰρηνευόντων ἐμβαλεῖ διαβολήν
And a man that is a sinner will trouble friends, And will make debate among those who are at peace.
犯罪的人攪擾朋友，在和睦的人中間挑起紛爭。
28:10
κατὰ τὴν ὕλην τοῦ πυρὸς οὕτως ἐκκαυθήσεται καὶ κατὰ τὴν στερέωσιν τῆς μάχης ἐκκαυθήσεται κατὰ τὴν ἰσχὺν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ὁ θυμὸς αὐτοῦ ἔσται καὶ κατὰ τὸν πλοῦτον ἀνυψώσει ὀργὴν αὐτοῦ
As is the fuel of the fire, so will it burn; And as the stoutness of the strife is, so will it burn: As is the strength of the man, so will be his wrath; And as is his wealth, so will he exalt his anger.
火的燃料怎樣，火也怎樣燃燒；爭端越激烈，燒得越猛；人的力量怎樣，他的忿怒也怎樣；他的財富越多，怒氣便越發高漲。
28:11
ἔρις κατασπευδομένη ἐκκαίει πῦρ καὶ μάχη κατασπεύδουσα ἐκχέει αἷμα
A contention begun in haste kindles a fire; And a hasty fighting sheds blood.
匆忙挑起的爭吵點燃火焰，急躁的爭鬥使人流血。
28:12
ἐὰν φυσήσῃς εἰς σπινθῆρα ἐκκαήσεται καὶ ἐὰν πτύσῃς ἐπ’ αὐτόν σβεσθήσεται καὶ ἀμφότερα ἐκ τοῦ στόματός σου ἐκπορεύεται
If you blow a spark, it will burn; And if you spit upon it, it will be quenched: And both these shall come out of your mouth.
你若向火星吹氣，它便燃起；你若向它吐唾沫，它便熄滅；這兩樣都是從你口中發出的。
28:13
ψίθυρον καὶ δίγλωσσον καταράσασθε πολλοὺς γὰρ εἰρηνεύοντας ἀπώλεσεν
Curse the whisperer and double-tongued: For he has destroyed many that were at peace.
你們要咒詛搬弄是非、口是心非的人，因為他毀了許多和睦的人。
28:14
γλῶσσα τρίτη πολλοὺς ἐσάλευσεν καὶ διέστησεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ ἔθνους εἰς ἔθνος καὶ πόλεις ὀχυρὰς καθεῖλεν καὶ οἰκίας μεγιστάνων κατέστρεψεν
A third person’s tongue has shaken many, And dispersed them from nation to nation; And it has pulled down strong cities, And overthrown the houses of great men.
播弄是非的舌頭使許多人動搖，把他們從這國驅散到那國，又拆毀堅固的城邑，傾覆權貴的家。
28:15
γλῶσσα τρίτη γυναῖκας ἀνδρείας ἐξέβαλεν καὶ ἐστέρεσεν αὐτὰς τῶν πόνων αὐτῶν
A third person’s tongue has cast out brave women, And deprived them of their labors.
播弄是非的舌頭趕出賢德的婦人，奪去她們勞苦所得的。
28:16
ὁ προσέχων αὐτῇ οὐ μὴ εὕρῃ ἀνάπαυσιν οὐδὲ κατασκηνώσει μεθ’ ἡσυχίας
He that hearkens to it will not find rest, Nor shall he dwell quietly.
聽信它的人必不得安息，也不能安然居住。
28:17
πληγὴ μάστιγος ποιεῖ μώλωπα πληγὴ δὲ γλώσσης συγκλάσει ὀστᾶ
The stroke of a whip makes a mark in the flesh; But the stroke of a tongue will break bones.
鞭子的擊打使皮肉留下傷痕，舌頭的擊打卻能打斷骨頭。
28:18
πολλοὶ ἔπεσαν ἐν στόματι μαχαίρας καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ πεπτωκότες διὰ γλῶσσαν
Many have fallen by the edge of the sword: Yet not so many as those who have fallen because of the tongue.
許多人死在刀劍之下，但死於舌頭的卻更多。
28:19
μακάριος ὁ σκεπασθεὶς ἀπ’ αὐτῆς ὃς οὐ διῆλθεν ἐν τῷ θυμῷ αὐτῆς ὃς οὐχ εἵλκυσεν τὸν ζυγὸν αὐτῆς καὶ ἐν τοῖς δεσμοῖς αὐτῆς οὐκ ἐδέθη
Happy is he that is sheltered from it, That has not passed through the wrath thereof; That has not drawn its yoke, And has not been bound with its bands.
能躲避它的人是有福的，他未曾經歷它的忿怒，未曾被它的軛所牽，也未曾被它的繩索所縛。
28:20
ὁ γὰρ ζυγὸς αὐτῆς ζυγὸς σιδηροῦς καὶ οἱ δεσμοὶ αὐτῆς δεσμοὶ χάλκειοι
For the yoke thereof is a yoke of iron, And the bands thereof are bands of brass.
因為它的軛是鐵軛，它的繩索是銅鏈。
28:21
θάνατος πονηρὸς ὁ θάνατος αὐτῆς καὶ λυσιτελὴς μᾶλλον ὁ ᾅδης αὐτῆς
The death thereof is an evil death; And Hades were better than it.
它所致的死是兇惡的死，陰間反倒比它更可取。
28:22
οὐ μὴ κρατήσῃ εὐσεβῶν καὶ ἐν τῇ φλογὶ αὐτῆς οὐ καήσονται
It shall not have rule over godly men; And they shall not be burned in its flame.
它必不能轄制敬虔的人，他們也不致被它的火焰焚燒。
28:23
οἱ καταλείποντες κύριον ἐμπεσοῦνται εἰς αὐτήν καὶ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐκκαήσεται καὶ οὐ μὴ σβεσθῇ ἐπαποσταλήσεται αὐτοῖς ὡς λέων καὶ ὡς πάρδαλις λυμανεῖται αὐτούς
They that forsake the Lord shall fall into it; And it shall burn among them, and shall not be quenched: It shall be sent forth upon them as a lion; And as a leopard it shall destroy them.
離棄主的人必落在它裡面，它必在他們中間燃燒，總不熄滅；它必如獅子被差遣攻擊他們，如豹子毀滅他們。
28:24
ἰδὲ περίφραξον τὸ κτῆμά σου ἀκάνθαις τὸ ἀργύριόν σου καὶ τὸ χρυσίον κατάδησον
Look that you hedge your possession about with thorns; Bind up your silver and your gold;
看哪，你要用荊棘圍護你的產業，把你的金銀捆束收好。
28:25
καὶ τοῖς λόγοις σου ποίησον ζυγὸν καὶ σταθμὸν καὶ τῷ στόματί σου ποίησον θύραν καὶ μοχλόν
And make a balance and a weight for your words; And make a door and a bar for your mouth.
也要為你的言語做天平與砝碼，為你的口做門與閂。
28:26
πρόσεχε μήπως ὀλίσθῃς ἐν αὐτῇ μὴ πέσῃς κατέναντι ἐνεδρεύοντος
Take heed lest you slip therein; Lest you fall before one that lies in wait.
要謹慎，免得你在言語上失足，免得你在埋伏者面前跌倒。
