1:1
ተረፈ፡ ዘርእየ፡ ዕንባቆም፡ ነቢይ።
The revelation which Habakkuk the prophet saw.
先知哈巴谷所得的默示。
1:2
እስከ፡ ማእዜኑ፡ እዚኦ፡ እኬልሕ፡ ወኢትሰምዕ፡ አአወዩ፡ እኬልሕ፡ ወኢትሰምዕ፡ አእወዩ፡ ኀቤከ፡ ተገፊእየ፡ ወኢታድኀን።
Yahweh, how long will I cry, and you will not hear? I cry out to you “Violence!” and will you not save?
他說：耶和華啊！我呼求你， 你不應允，要到幾時呢？ 我因強暴哀求你，你還不拯救。
1:3
አምንት፡ አርአይከኒ፡ ስራሐ፡ ወሕማመ፡ ከመ፡ አርአይ፡ ኀሳር፡ ወሕርትምና፡ ብቅድሜየ፡ ኮነ፡ ፍትሕ፡ ወመኮንንኒ፡ ይትሐለይ፡ ሕልያነ።
Why do you show me iniquity, and look at perversity? For destruction and violence are before me. There is strife, and contention rises up.
你為何使我看見罪孽？ 你為何看着奸惡而不理呢？ 毀滅和強暴在我面前， 又起了爭端和相鬥的事。
1:4
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ዐለዉ፡ ህግ፡ ወኢይወ፡ ፅአ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ጽድቅ፡ እስመ፡ ይትዔገሎ፡ ኃጥእ፡ ለጻድቅ፡ በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይወፅእ፡ ፍትሕ፡ ግፍቱዑ።
Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails; for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore justice comes out perverted.
因此律法放鬆， 公理也不顯明； 惡人圍困義人， 所以公理顯然顛倒。
1:5
ርእዩኬ፡ እለ፡ ታስተሐቅሩ፡ ወነጽሩ፡ ወአንክሩ፡ መንክረ፡ ወትማስኑ፡ እስመ፡ ግብ፡ እገብር፡ አነ፡ በመዋዕሊክሙ፡ ዘኢተአምኑ፡ እመ፡ ነገሩክሙ።
“Look among the nations, watch, and wonder marvelously; for I am working a work in your days which you will not believe though it is told you.
耶和華說：你們要向列國中觀看， 大大驚奇； 因為在你們的時候，我行一件事， 雖有人告訴你們，你們總是不信。
1:6
ወናሁ፡ እፌኑ፡ ላዕሌክሙ፡ አነ፡ ፋርስሃ፡ ህዝበ፡ መሪራነ፡ ዋራዋድነ፡ እለ፡ የሐውሩ፡ በስፍሐ፡ ምድር፡ ከመ፡ ይረሰሱ፡ አብያተ፡ ዘኢኮነ፡ ዚአሆሙ።
For, behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation who march through the width of the earth, to possess dwelling places that are not theirs.
我必興起迦勒底人， 就是那殘忍暴躁之民，通行遍地， 佔據那不屬自己的住處。
1:7
ግሩም፡ ራእዩ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ይከውን፡ ፍትሑ፡ ወተረፋሂ፡ እምኔሁ፡ ይወፅእ።
They are feared and dreaded. Their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves.
他威武可畏， 判斷和勢力都任意發出。
1:8
ወይሰሩ፡ ከመ፡ ነምር፡ አፍራሲሆሙ፡ ወይበድሩ፡ እምተኲላተ፡ ዐረብ። ወይሩ፡ ከመ፡ ንስር፡ ዘይጐጒዕ፡ ለበሊዕ፡ ወይበጽሑ፡ እምርኁቅ፡ አፍራሲኖሙ።
Their horses also are swifter than leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves. Their horsemen press proudly on. Yes, their horsemen come from afar. They fly as an eagle that hurries to devour.
他的馬比豹更快， 比晚上的豺狼更猛。 馬兵踴躍爭先， 都從遠方而來； 他們飛跑如鷹抓食，
1:9
ወይበጽሖሙ፡ ጥፍአት፡ ለኃጥኦን፡ እለ፡ ይትቃወሙ፡ ፍጽመ፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጾሙ፡ ወያስተጋብአኡ፡ ፄዋሆሙ፡ ከመ፡ ኖፃ።
All of them come for violence. Their hordes face forward. They gather prisoners like sand.
都為行強暴而來， 定住臉面向前， 將擄掠的人聚集，多如塵沙。
1:10
ወውእቱሰ፡ ይንስ፡ ሎሙ፡ ወይፍግዕ፡ ላዕሆሙ፡ ወኃይላን፡ ተውኔቱ፡ ወይሣለቅ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኲሉ፡ አጽዋኒሆሙ፡ ወይደፍኖሙ፡ በመሬት፡ ወይእኀዞሙ።
Yes, they scoff at kings, and princes are a derision to them. They laugh at every stronghold, for they build up an earthen ramp and take it.
他們譏誚君王，笑話首領， 嗤笑一切保障，築壘攻取。
1:11
ወእምዝ፡ ይመይጥ፡ መንፈሶ፡ ወየኀልፍ፡ ወያመስጥ፡ ለዛ፡ ኃይሉ፡ ለአምላኪየ።
Then they sweep by like the wind and go on. They are indeed guilty, whose strength is their god.”
他以自己的勢力為神， 像風猛然掃過，顯為有罪。
1:12
አኮኑ፡ እንተ፡ ቀደምከ፡ እግዚኦ፡ አምላኪየ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ወኢንመውት፡ እግዚኦ፡ ለኲኔ፡ ሠራዕከሁ፡ ወተጠረኒ፡ ከመ፡ እዛለፍ፡ በተግሣጹ።
Aren’t you from everlasting, Yahweh my God, my Holy One? We will not die. Yahweh, you have appointed them for judgment. You, Rock, have established him to punish.
耶和華－我的上帝，我的聖者啊， 你不是從亙古而有嗎？ 我們必不致死。 耶和華啊，你派定他為要刑罰人； 磐石啊，你設立他為要懲治人。
1:13
በዐይን፡ ንጹሕ፡ ኢይኔጽር፡ ውስተ፡ እይ፡ ወሕማም፡ ወጻዕር፡ ለምንት፡ ታረምም፡ እንዘ፡ ትሬእዩሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ያስተአክዩ፡ ወይውሕጦ፡ ኃጥእ፡ ለጻድቅ።
You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,
你眼目清潔， 不看邪僻，不看奸惡； 行詭詐的，你為何看着不理呢？ 惡人吞滅比自己公義的， 你為何靜默不語呢？
1:14
ወትሬስዩሙ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ከመ፡ ዓሣተ፡ ባሕር፡ ወከመ፡ አርዌ፡ ዘአልቦ፡ መኮንነ።
and make men like the fish of the sea, like the creeping things that have no ruler over them?
你為何使人如海中的魚， 又如沒有管轄的爬物呢？
1:15
በመስገርቱ፡ አውፅአ፡ ያኃልቆ፡ ወሰሐቦ፡ በመርበብቱ፡ ወስተጋብኦ፡ በመስገርቱ፡ በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይትፌስህ፡ ወይትኀሠይ፡ ልቡ።
He takes up all of them with the hook. He catches them in his net and gathers them in his dragnet. Therefore he rejoices and is glad.
他用鉤鉤住，用網捕獲， 用拉網聚集他們； 因此，他歡喜快樂，
1:16
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይሠውዕ፡ ለመስገርቱ፡ ወየዐጥን፡ ለመርበብቱ፡ ወኀሩይ፡ ሲሳዩ።
Therefore he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, because by them his life is luxurious and his food is good.
就向網獻祭，向網燒香， 因他由此得肥美的分和富裕的食物。
1:17
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይረብብ፡ መስገርቶ፡ ወዘልፈ፡ ይቀትሎሙ፡ ለአሕዛብ፡ ወኢይምሕኮሙ።
Will he therefore continually empty his net, and kill the nations without mercy?
他豈可屢次倒空網羅， 將列國的人時常殺戮，毫不顧惜呢？
