3:1
Ἐν δὲ ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις παραγίνεται Ἰωάννης ὁ βαπτιστὴς κηρύσσων ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τῆς Ἰουδαίας
In those days, John the Baptizer came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying,
那時，有施洗的約翰出來，在猶太的曠野傳道，說：
3:2
λέγων , μετανοεῖτε , ἤγγικεν γὰρ ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν .
“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!”
「天國近了，你們應當悔改！」
3:3
οὗτος γάρ ἐστιν ὁ ῥηθεὶς διὰ Ἡσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος · φωνὴ βοῶντος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ , ἑτοιμάσατε τὴν ὁδὸν κυρίου , εὐθείας ποιεῖτε τὰς τρίβους αὐτοῦ .
For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, make the way of the Lord ready! Make his paths straight!”
這人就是先知以賽亞所說的。他說：「在曠野有人聲喊着說： 預備主的道， 修直他的路！」
3:4
αὐτὸς δὲ ὁ Ἰωάννης εἶχεν τὸ ἔνδυμα αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τριχῶν καμήλου καὶ ζώνην δερματίνην περὶ τὴν ὀσφὺν αὐτοῦ , ἡ δὲ τροφὴ ἦν αὐτοῦ ἀκρίδες καὶ μέλι ἄγριον .
Now John himself wore clothing made of camel’s hair with a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
這約翰身穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。
3:5
τότε ἐξεπορεύετο πρὸς αὐτὸν Ἱεροσόλυμα καὶ πᾶσα ἡ Ἰουδαία καὶ πᾶσα ἡ περίχωρος τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ,
Then people from Jerusalem, all of Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him.
那時，耶路撒冷和猶太全地，並約旦河一帶地方的人，都出去到約翰那裏，
3:6
καὶ ἐβαπτίζοντο ἐν τῷ Ἰορδάνῃ ποταμῷ ὑπ’ αὐτοῦ ἐξομολογούμενοι τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν .
They were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.
承認他們的罪，在約旦河裏受他的洗。
3:7
ἰδὼν δὲ πολλοὺς τῶν Φαρισαίων καὶ Σαδδουκαίων ἐρχομένους ἐπὶ τὸ βάπτισμα εἶπεν αὐτοῖς , γεννήματα ἐχιδνῶν , τίς ὑπέδειξεν ὑμῖν φυγεῖν ἀπὸ τῆς μελλούσης ὀργῆς ;
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, “You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
約翰看見許多法利賽人和撒都該人也來受洗，就對他們說：「毒蛇的種類！誰指示你們逃避將來的忿怒呢？
3:8
ποιήσατε οὖν καρπὸν ἄξιον τῆς μετανοίας ·
Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance!
你們要結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。
3:9
καὶ μὴ δόξητε λέγειν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς , πατέρα ἔχομεν τὸν Ἀβραάμ , λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι δύναται ὁ θεὸς ἐκ τῶν λίθων τούτων ἐγεῖραι τέκνα τῷ Ἀβραάμ .
Don’t think to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
不要自己心裏說：『有亞伯拉罕為我們的祖宗。』我告訴你們，上帝能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起子孫來。
3:10
ἤδη δὲ ἡ ἀξίνη πρὸς τὴν ῥίζαν τῶν δένδρων κεῖται · πᾶν οὖν δένδρον μὴ ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλὸν ἐκκόπτεται καὶ εἰς πῦρ βάλλεται .
Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.
現在斧子已經放在樹根上，凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來，丟在火裏。
3:11
ἐγὼ μὲν ὑμᾶς βαπτίζω ἐν ὕδατι εἰς μετάνοιαν · ὁ δὲ ὀπίσω μου ἐρχόμενος ἰσχυρότερός μού ἐστιν , οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς τὰ ὑποδήματα βαστάσαι · αὐτὸς ὑμᾶς βαπτίσει ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ καὶ πυρί ·
“I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.
我是用水給你們施洗，叫你們悔改。但那在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是給他提鞋也不配。他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。
3:12
οὗ τὸ πτύον ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ , καὶ διακαθαριεῖ τὴν ἅλωνα αὐτοῦ , καὶ συνάξει τὸν σῖτον αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν ἀποθήκην , τὸ δὲ ἄχυρον κατακαύσει πυρὶ ἀσβέστῳ .
His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.”
他手裏拿着簸箕，要揚淨他的場，把麥子收在倉裏，把糠用不滅的火燒盡了。」
3:13
Τότε παραγίνεται ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰορδάνην πρὸς τὸν Ἰωάννην τοῦ βαπτισθῆναι ὑπ’ αὐτοῦ .
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.
當下，耶穌從加利利來到約旦河，見了約翰，要受他的洗。
3:14
ὁ δὲ διεκώλυεν αὐτὸν λέγων · ἐγὼ χρείαν ἔχω ὑπὸ σοῦ βαπτισθῆναι , καὶ σὺ ἔρχῃ πρός με ;
But John would have hindered him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and you come to me?”
約翰想要攔住他，說：「我當受你的洗，你反倒上我這裏來嗎？」
3:15
ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν , ἄφες ἄρτι , οὕτως γὰρ πρέπον ἐστὶν ἡμῖν πληρῶσαι πᾶσαν δικαιοσύνην . τότε ἀφίησιν αὐτόν .
But Jesus, answering, said to him, “Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed him.
耶穌回答說：「你暫且許我，因為我們理當這樣盡諸般的義 。」於是約翰許了他。
3:16
βαπτισθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εὐθὺς ἀνέβη ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος · καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνεῴχθησαν οἱ οὐρανοί , καὶ εἶδεν πνεῦμα θεοῦ καταβαῖνον ὡσεὶ περιστερὰν ἐρχόμενον ἐπ’ αὐτόν ·
Jesus, when he was baptized, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on him.
耶穌受了洗，隨即從水裏上來。天忽然為他開了，他就看見上帝的靈彷彿鴿子降下，落在他身上。
3:17
καὶ ἰδοὺ φωνὴ ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν λέγουσα , οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός , ἐν ᾧ εὐδόκησα .
Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
從天上有聲音說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。」
