7:1
Haec ostendit mihi Dominus Deus : et ecce fictor locustae in principio germinantium serotini imbris, et ecce serotinus post tonsionem regis.
Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s harvest.
主耶和華指示我一件事：為王割菜 之後，菜又發生；剛發生的時候，主造蝗蟲。
7:2
Et factum est, cum consummasset comedere herbam terrae, dixi : Domine Deus, propitius esto, obsecro ; quis suscitabit Jacob, quia parvulus est ?
When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said, “Lord Yahweh, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”
蝗蟲吃盡那地的青物，我就說：「主耶和華啊，求你赦免；因為雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？」
7:3
Misertus est Dominus super hoc : Non erit, dixit Dominus.
Yahweh relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” says Yahweh.
耶和華就後悔說：「這災可以免了。」
7:4
Haec ostendit mihi Dominus Deus : et ecce vocabat judicium ad ignem Dominus Deus ; et devoravit abyssum multam, et comedit simul partem.
Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: behold, the Lord Yahweh called for judgment by fire; and it dried up the great deep, and would have devoured the land.
主耶和華又指示我一件事：他命火來懲罰以色列，火就吞滅深淵，險些將地燒滅。
7:5
Et dixi : Domine Deus, quiesce, obsecro ; quis suscitabit Jacob, quia parvulus est ?
Then I said, “Lord Yahweh, stop, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”
我就說：「主耶和華啊，求你止息；因為雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？」
7:6
Misertus est Dominus super hoc : Sed et istud non erit, dixit Dominus Deus.
Yahweh relented concerning this. “This also shall not be,” says the Lord Yahweh.
耶和華就後悔說：「這災也可免了。」
7:7
Haec ostendit mihi Dominus : et ecce Dominus stans super murum litum, et in manu ejus trulla caementarii.
Thus he showed me: behold, the Lord stood beside a wall made by a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand.
他又指示我一件事：有一道牆是按準繩建築的，主手拿準繩站在其上。
7:8
Et dixit Dominus ad me : Quid tu vides, Amos ? Et dixi : Trullam caementarii. Et dixit Dominus : Ecce ego ponam trullam in medio populi mei Israël ; non adjiciam ultra superinducere eum.
Yahweh said to me, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A plumb line.” Then the Lord said, “Behold, I will set a plumb line in the middle of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.
耶和華對我說：「阿摩司啊，你看見甚麼？」我說：「看見準繩。」主說：「我要吊起準繩在我民以色列中，我必不再寬恕他們。
7:9
Et demolientur excelsa idoli, et sanctificationes Israël desolabuntur, et consurgam super domum Jeroboam in gladio.
The high places of Isaac will be desolate, the sanctuaries of Israel will be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.”
以撒的邱壇必然淒涼；以色列的聖所必然荒廢。我必興起，用刀攻擊耶羅波安的家。」
7:10
Et misit Amasias, sacerdos Bethel, ad Jeroboam, regem Israël, dicens : Rebellavit contra te Amos in medio domus Israël ; non poterit terra sustinere universos sermones ejus.
Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the middle of the house of Israel. The land is not able to bear all his words.
伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝打發人到以色列王耶羅波安那裏，說：「阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛你；他所說的一切話，這國擔當不起；
7:11
Haec enim dicit Amos : In gladio morietur Jeroboam, et Israël captivus migrabit de terra sua.
For Amos says, ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.’”
因為阿摩司如此說：『耶羅波安必被刀殺；以色列民定被擄去離開本地。』」
7:12
Et dixit Amasias ad Amos : Qui vides, gradere : fuge in terram Juda, et comede ibi panem, et prophetabis ibi.
Amaziah also said to Amos, “You seer, go, flee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there,
亞瑪謝又對阿摩司說：「你這先見哪，要逃往猶大地去，在那裏糊口，在那裏說預言，
7:13
Et in Bethel non adjicies ultra ut prophetes, quia sanctificatio regis est, et domus regni est.
but don’t prophesy again any more at Bethel; for it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a royal house!”
卻不要在伯特利再說預言；因為這裏有王的聖所，有王的宮殿。」
7:14
Responditque Amos, et dixit ad Amasiam : Non sum propheta, et non sum filius prophetae : sed armentarius ego sum vellicans sycomoros.
Then Amos answered Amaziah, “I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son, but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore figs;
阿摩司對亞瑪謝說：「我原不是先知，也不是先知的門徒 。我是牧人，又是修理桑樹的。
7:15
Et tulit me Dominus cum sequerer gregem, et dixit Dominus ad me : Vade, propheta ad populum meum Israël.
and Yahweh took me from following the flock, and Yahweh said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’
耶和華選召我，使我不跟從羊群，對我說：『你去向我民以色列說預言。』
7:16
Et nunc audi verbum Domini : Tu dicis : Non prophetabis super Israël, et non stillabis super domum idoli.
Now therefore listen to Yahweh’s word: ‘You say, Don’t prophesy against Israel, and don’t preach against the house of Isaac.’
亞瑪謝啊，現在你要聽耶和華的話。你說：『不要向以色列說預言，也不要向以撒家滴下預言。』
7:17
Propter hoc haec dicit Dominus : Uxor tua in civitate fornicabitur, et filii tui et filiae tuae in gladio cadent, et humus tua funiculo metietur : et tu in terra polluta morieris, et Israël captivus migrabit de terra sua.
Therefore Yahweh says: ‘Your wife shall be a prostitute in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you yourself shall die in a land that is unclean, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.’”
所以耶和華如此說：『你的妻子必在城中作妓女；你的兒女必倒在刀下。你的地必有人用繩子量了分取；你自己必死在污穢之地。以色列民定被擄去離開本地。』」
