2:1
Et praeparavit Dominus piscem grandem ut deglutiret Jonam : et erat Jonas in ventre piscis tribus diebus et tribus noctibus.
Yahweh prepared a huge fish to swallow up Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
耶和華安排一條大魚吞了約拿,他在魚腹中三日三夜。
2:2
Et oravit Jonas ad Dominum Deum suum de ventre piscis,
Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish’s belly.
約拿在魚腹中禱告耶和華-他的上帝,
2:3
et dixit : Clamavi de tribulatione mea ad Dominum, et exaudivit me ; de ventre inferi clamavi, et exaudisti vocem meam.
He said, “I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.
說: 我遭遇患難求告耶和華, 你就應允我; 從陰間的深處呼求, 你就俯聽我的聲音。
2:4
Et projecisti me in profundum in corde maris, et flumen circumdedit me : omnes gurgites tui, et fluctus tui super me transierunt.
For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.
你將我投下深淵, 就是海的深處; 大水環繞我, 你的波浪洪濤都漫過我身。
2:5
Et ego dixi : Abjectus sum a conspectu oculorum tuorum ; verumtamen rursus videbo templum sanctum tuum.
I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’
我說:我從你眼前雖被驅逐, 我仍要仰望你的聖殿。
2:6
Circumdederunt me aquae usque ad animam : abyssus vallavit me, pelagus operuit caput meum.
The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.
諸水環繞我,幾乎淹沒我; 深淵圍住我; 海草纏繞我的頭。
2:7
Ad extrema montium descendi ; terrae vectes concluserunt me in aeternum : et sublevabis de corruptione vitam meam, Domine Deus meus.
I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever; yet you have brought my life up from the pit, Yahweh my God.
我下到山根, 地的門將我永遠關住。 耶和華-我的上帝啊, 你卻將我的性命從坑中救出來。
2:8
Cum angustiaretur in me anima mea, Domini recordatus sum : ut veniat ad te oratio mea, ad templum sanctum tuum.
“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Yahweh. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.
我心在我裏面發昏的時候, 我就想念耶和華。 我的禱告進入你的聖殿, 達到你的面前。
2:9
Qui custodiunt vanitates frustra, misericordiam suam derelinquunt.
Those who regard vain idols forsake their own mercy.
那信奉虛無之神的人, 離棄憐愛他們的主;
2:10
Ego autem in voce laudis immolabo tibi : quaecumque vovi, reddam pro salute Domino.
But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh.”
但我必用感謝的聲音獻祭與你。 我所許的願,我必償還。 救恩出於耶和華。
2:11
Et dixit Dominus pisci, et evomuit Jonam in aridam.
Then Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
耶和華吩咐魚,魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。
