D at tuba caelo signum sublato leone, E t fiunt subito tenebrae cum caeli fragore. S ummittit oculos Dominus, ut terra tremescat, A cclamat ut et audiant omnes in orbem: E cce diu tacui sufferens tanto tempore uestra! C onclamant pariter plangentes sero gementes, U lulatur, ploratur, nec spatium datur iniquis: L actanti quid faciet mater, cum ipsa crematur? I n flamma ignis Dominus iudicabit iniquos: I ustos autem non tanget ignis, sed immo delinquet. S ub uno morantur, sed pars in sententia flebit. T antus erit ardor, ut lapides ipsi liquescant, I n fulmine coeunt uenti, furit ira caelestis, U t, quacumque fugit, impius occupetur ab igne; S uppetium nullum erit, nec nauticae puppes:
The trumpet gives the sign in heaven, the lion being taken away, and suddenly darkness comes with the crashing of the heavens. The Lord casts down His eyes, that the earth may tremble; He cries aloud, that all in the whole world may hear: Behold, long have I kept silence, enduring your deeds for so great a time! Together they cry out, lamenting, too late groaning; there is howling, there is weeping, nor is any respite granted to the wicked. What shall the mother do for her suckling child, when she herself is being burned? In the flame of fire the Lord shall judge the wicked: but the fire shall not touch the righteous; rather, it shall pass them by. Under one fate they linger, yet one part shall weep at the sentence. So great shall be the heat, that the very stones shall melt; in the lightning the winds rush together, the heavenly wrath rages, so that wherever the impious flees, he is seized by the fire; no aid shall there be, nor ships of mariners:
獅子被除去，號筒在天上發出信號，黑暗忽然臨到，伴隨諸天的崩裂之聲。主垂下祂的眼目，使地震動；祂大聲呼喊，使全世界的人都聽見：看哪，我已長久靜默，忍耐你們的所為這麼久了！他們一同呼喊，哀號，過遲地呻吟；有號咷，有哭泣，惡人也得不著喘息。當作母親的自己被焚燒時，她要為她吃奶的嬰孩怎樣行呢？主要在火焰中審判惡人：但火不沾著義人，反倒越過他們。眾人同處一境，然而有一部分人要在那判決下哀哭。火熱必如此之大，連石頭也要熔化；在閃電中眾風匯聚，天上的忿怒發作，以致惡人無論逃到何處，都被火抓住；那時必無援助，也無水手的船隻：

F lamma tamen gentes Medi Parthique feruent I n annis mille, ut feruunt corpora sanctis. N am inde post annos mille gehennae traduntur, E t fabrica cuius erant cum ipsa cremantur.
yet the flame shall make the nations of the Medes and the Parthians glow for a thousand years, even as the bodies glow for the saints. For thereafter, after a thousand years, they are handed over to Gehenna, and the very structure of which they were a part is burned together with it.
然而那火焰要使瑪代和帕提亞的列國燃燒一千年，正如那身體為聖徒們發光。因為其後，過了一千年，他們就被交付到火湖裡，而他們所屬的那整個構造也與之一同被焚燒。
