2:1
ወቦ ባሕቱ ሐሳውያነ ነቢያት ማእከለ ሕዝብ ከመ እለ ሀለዉ ማእከሌክሙ ወውስቴትክሙ እለ ሐሰተ ይሜህሩ ወእለ ካሕደ ያበውኡ ለሕርትምና ወይክሕድዎ ለእግዚኦሙ ዘተሣየጦሙ በደሙ ወያመጽእዎ ላዕሌሆሙ ፍጡነ ለሙስና ወለተሠርዎ።
從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速地滅亡。
But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
2:2
ወብዙኃን ሰብእ ይተልውዎሙ ለእሉ በእንተ ፍትወተ ዝሙቶሙ ወይፀርፉ ላዕለ ፍኖተ ጽድቅ።
將有許多人隨從他們邪淫的行為，便叫真道因他們的緣故被毀謗。
Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.
2:3
ወይትካሐዱ በቃል ዘለሊሆሙ ፈጠሩ ወቦቱ የሐውሩ ወደይኖሙሰ እምፍጥረተ ዓለም ዘኢተዐርፍ ወሕርምትናሆሙ እንተ ኢትዴቅስ።
他們因有貪心，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取利。他們的刑罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡也必速速來到 。
In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.
2:4
ወእግዚአብሔርሰ ለመላእክቲሁ ጥቀ አቢሶሙ ኢመሐኮሙ አላ ወደዮሙ ውስተ ጻዕረ ደይን ዘርሱን ወመጠዎሙ ይትኰነኑ ወይንበሩ ውስተ ጻዕረ ደይን።
就是天使犯了罪，上帝也沒有寬容，曾把他們丟在地獄，交在黑暗坑中，等候審判。
For if God didn’t spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness to be reserved for judgment;
2:5
ወለዓለምሰ ቀደምት ኢመሐኮሙ አላ አትረፈ ሰማኒተ ነፍሰ ምስለ ኖኅ ዘዐቀባ ለጽድቅ ከመ ይኩን ዜናዌ በጽድቅ ወለባዕዳንሰ ሰብእ ረሲዓን ፈነወ አይኀ ላዕሌሆሙ።
上帝也沒有寬容上古的世代，曾叫洪水臨到那不敬虔的世代，卻保護了傳義道的挪亞一家八口。
and didn’t spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly,
2:6
ወለአህጉረ ሰዶምኒ ወገሞራ አውዐዮን ወገፍትዖን ወከመዝ ኰነኖሙ ወአርኣያ ረሰዮሙ ለእለ በደኃሪ መዋዕል ለኃጥኣን።
又判定所多瑪、蛾摩拉，將二城傾覆，焚燒成灰，作為後世不敬虔人的鑑戒；
and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live in an ungodly way,
2:7
ወለጻድቅሰ ሎጥ ዘይትገፋዕ እምእለ ይኤብሱ በምግባረ ዝሙቶሙ አድኀኖ።
只搭救了那常為惡人淫行憂傷的義人羅得。（
and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked
2:8
ወእንዘ ይሬኢ ወይሰምዕ ጻድቅ ወኅዱር ምስሌሆሙ ወዕለተ እምዕለት ያጼዕርዋ ለነፍሱ ጻድቅት በእከየ ምግባሮሙ።
因為那義人住在他們中間，看見聽見他們不法的事，他的義心就天天傷痛。）
(for that righteous man dwelling among them was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds),
2:9
ናሁኬ አእመርነ ከመ እግዚአብሔር ይክል አድኅኖቶሙ እምነ መንሱት ለጻድቃን ወለኃጥኣንሰ ዕለተ ደይን ትጸንሖሙ ለተጽዕሮ።
主知道搭救敬虔的人脫離試探，把不義的人留在刑罰之下，等候審判的日子。
then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
2:10
ወፈድፋደሰ ለእለ ይተልውዋ ድኅሬሃ ለፍትወቶሙ ወያጌምንዎ ለሥጋሆሙ ወያስተሐቅርዎ ለፈጣሪሆሙ ኅቡላን ወዝሉፋን እለ ኢይደነግፁ ከመ ይፅርፉ ላዕለ ስብሐቲሁ።
那些隨肉身、縱污穢的情慾、輕慢主治之人的，更是如此。 他們膽大任性，毀謗在尊位的，也不知懼怕。
but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
2:11
ዘውእቱ ኀበ መላእክት እለ ልዑላን እሙንቱ እምኔሆሙ በኀይል ወበጽንዕ ወኢይክሉ ተዐግሦ ከመ ያብጽሑ ላዕሌሆሙ ደይነ ፅርፈቶሙ።
就是天使，雖然力量權能更大，還不用毀謗的話在主面前告他們。
whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don’t bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.
2:12
ውእቶሙኬ ከመ እንስሳ ዘአልቦ ቃል ዘይትወለድ ለሙስና ወለተሠርዎ እስመ ይፀርፉ ላዕለ ዘኢየአምሩ ለሕርትምናሆሙ ወሎሙ በሙስናሆሙ ዐስበ ዐመፃ።
但這些人好像沒有靈性，生來就是畜類，以備捉拿宰殺的。他們毀謗所不曉得的事，正在敗壞人的時候，自己必遭遇敗壞。
But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,
2:13
ወአስተሐወዝዋ ለተደልዎ ስታየ ዕለቶሙ ወይበልዑ እንዘ ሕብቁቃን ወርኩሳን እለ ኢይጸግቡ ወይትጓሐለዉ በፍቅሮሙ ወይትሜክሑ ለቢጾሙ ከመ ዘሠናይ ምግባሮሙ።
行的不義，就得了不義的工價。這些人喜愛白晝宴樂，他們已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正與你們一同坐席，就以自己的詭詐為快樂。
receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;
2:14
ወምሉእ ውስተ አዕይንቲሆሙ ዝሙት ወኀጢአት እንተ አልባቲ ዘይገሀግሃ ወያደነግፁ ነፍሰ ሰብእ እለ ስጡሕ ልቦሙ ወትዕግልት ምግባሮሙ ወየኀድጉ መርገመ ለውሉዶሙ።
他們滿眼是淫色 ，止不住犯罪，引誘那心不堅固的人，心中習慣了貪婪，正是被咒詛的種類。
having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!
2:15
ወስሕትዋ ለፍኖተ ጽድቅ ወተለውዋ ለፍኖተ በለዓም ወልደ ባሶር ዘአፍቀራ ለዐስበ ዐመፃ።
他們離棄正路，就走差了，隨從比珥之子巴蘭的路。巴蘭就是那貪愛不義之工價的先知，
Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;
2:16
ወተዛለፎ ለበለዓም በኀጢአቱ ዘኢይነብብ አድግ በቃለ ዕጓለ እመሕያው ተናገረ ወከልኦ ለነቢይ እበዲሁ።
他卻為自己的過犯受了責備；那不能說話的驢以人言攔阻先知的狂妄。
but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A speechless donkey spoke with a man’s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.
2:17
እሉ እሙንቱ ዐዘቅት ንጽፍት ወጊሜ ዘነፋስ ይዘርዎ እለ ለደይነ ጽልመት ዘለዓለም የዐቅብዎሙ።
這些人是無水的井，是狂風催逼的霧氣，有墨黑的幽暗為他們存留。
These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.
2:18
እስመ ዐበይተ ጌጋይ ነበቡ ወያደነግፁ ነፍሰ ሰብእ በእንተ ፍትወተ ዝሙቶሙ ዘሥጋሆሙ ሰብእ እለ ኅዳጠ አምሰጡ ወገብኡ ውስተ ጌጋይ።
他們說虛妄矜誇的大話，用肉身的情慾和邪淫的事引誘那些剛才脫離妄行的人。
For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
2:19
እለ ሕገ ግዕዛን ተምህሩ ወለሊሆሙኒ ቅኑያን ለሕርትምና እስመ ኵሉ ለዘተአዘዘ ውእቱ ይትቀነይ።
他們應許人得以自由，自己卻作敗壞的奴僕，因為人被誰制伏就是誰的奴僕。
promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.
2:20
እስመ ጐዩ እምኀጢአቱ ለዝንቱ ዓለም በአእምሮቱ ለእግዚእነ ወመድኀኒነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወገብኡ ዳግመ ወተፀፍሩ ወተቀንዩ ሎቱ ወይከውኖሙ ደኃሪ ጌጋዮሙ እምነ ቀዲሙ ዘየአክዮሙ።
倘若他們因認識主－救主耶穌基督，得以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住、制伏，他們末後的景況就比先前更不好了。
For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
2:21
እምኀየሶሙ ሶበ ኢያእመርዋ ለፍኖተ ጽድቅ እምያእምርዋ ወይግብኡ ድኅሬሆሙ እምእንተ ተውህበት ሎሙ ትእዛዝ ቅድስት።
他們曉得義路，竟背棄了傳給他們的聖命，倒不如不曉得為妙。
For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
2:22
ወበጽሐቶሙ አምሳል እንተ መሰሉ በጽድቅ እንተ ይቤ ከልብ ገብአ ዲበ ቅያኡ ወሐራውያኒ ተኀፂባ ገብአት ዲበ ጸብር።
俗語說得真不錯： 狗所吐的，牠轉過來又吃； 豬洗淨了又回到泥裏去滾； 這話在他們身上正合式。
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”
