2:1
ዐርገ፡ ዘይነፍኀ፡ ውስተ፡ ገጽከ፡ ወኢያጠፍአከ፡ በሕማም። ወአስተሐይጽ፡ ፍኖዳዡ፡ ዋኣጽንዕ፡ ሐቃከ፡ አጥበርዕ፡ በኃይልከ፡ በሕቁ።
尼尼微啊，那打碎邦國的上來攻擊你。 你要看守保障，謹防道路， 使腰強壯，大大勉力。 （
He who dashes in pieces has come up against you. Keep the fortress! Watch the way! Strengthen your waist! Fortify your power mightily!
2:2
እስመ፡ ሜጠ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ጽዕለተ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ከመ፡ ጽዕለተ፡ እስራኤል፡ እስመ፡ ነፂኀ፡ ነፅኖመ፡ ወአማሰኑ፡ አዕጹቂሆሙ።
耶和華復興雅各的榮華， 好像以色列的榮華一樣； 因為使地空虛的， 已經使雅各和以色列空虛， 將他們的葡萄枝毀壞了。）
For Yahweh restores the excellency of Jacob as the excellency of Israel, for the destroyers have destroyed them and ruined their vine branches.
2:3
በወልታ፡ ኃይሎሙ፡ እምሰብእ፡ ዕደው፡ ኃያላን፡ እለ፡ ይትዋነዩ፡ በእሳት፡ መስረ፡ ሠረገላሆሙ፡ ሶበ፡ ትሬሰዩ፡ ወእራኒ፡ ይትሀወኩ።
他勇士的盾牌是紅的， 精兵都穿朱紅衣服。 在他預備爭戰的日子， 戰車上的鋼鐵閃爍如火， 柏木把的槍也掄起來了。
The shield of his mighty men is made red. The valiant men are in scarlet. The chariots flash with steel in the day of his preparation, and the pine spears are brandished.
2:4
ውስተ፡ ፍናው፡ ወይደነግፁ፡ ሠረገላ፡ ወይትጓደኡ፡ በፍናው፡ ገጾሙ፡ ከመ፡ ነበልባለ፡ እሳት፡ ወከመ፡ መብረቀወ፡ ዜረውጽ።
車輛在街上 急行， 在寬闊處奔來奔去， 形狀如火把， 飛跑如閃電。
The chariots rage in the streets. They rush back and forth in the wide ways. Their appearance is like torches. They run like the lightnings.
2:5
ወይዘክሩ፡ መሳፍንቲሆሙ፡ ወይሜምኡ፡ መዓልተ፡ ወይደክሙ፡ በፍኖቶሙ፡ ወይረውጹ፡ ዲበ፡ አረፋቲሃ፡ ወያብሩ፡ መዓቅቢሆሙ።
尼尼微王招聚他的貴冑； 他們步行絆跌， 速上城牆，預備擋牌。
He summons his picked troops. They stumble on their way. They dash to its wall, and the protective shield is put in place.
2:6
ወተርኀወ፡ አናውጸ፡ አህጉር፡ ወወድቁ፡ አብያተ፡ መንገስት።
河閘開放，宮殿沖沒。
The gates of the rivers are opened, and the palace is dissolved.
2:7
ወተከስተ፡ ኃይል፡ ወዐርገት፡ እቲኒ፡ ወአእማቲሃ፡ ይመርሖሃ፡ ከመ፡ ርግብ፡ ዋይኔቅዋ፡ በልቦን።
王后蒙羞，被人擄去； 宮女搥胸，哀鳴如鴿。 此乃命定之事。
It is decreed: she is uncovered, she is carried away; and her servants moan as with the voice of doves, beating on their breasts.
2:8
ወነነዌሰ፡ ከመ፡ ምጥማቃተ፡ ማይ፡ ወእሙንቱሂ፡ ጎዩ፡ ወኢቆሙ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይትመየጥ።
尼尼微自古以來充滿人民， 如同聚水的池子； 現在居民卻都逃跑。 雖有人呼喊說：站住！站住！ 卻無人回顧。
But Nineveh has been from of old like a pool of water, yet they flee away. “Stop! Stop!” they cry, but no one looks back.
2:9
በረበሩ፡ ብሩረ፡ ወወርቀ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ማኀለቅተ፡ ሠርጓ፡ ክቡድ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኲሉ፡ ንዋያ፡ መፍትው።
你們搶掠金銀吧！ 因為所積蓄的無窮， 華美的寶器無數。
Take the plunder of silver. Take the plunder of gold, for there is no end of treasure, an abundance of every precious thing.
2:10
ተነግፈ፡ ወተነዝፈ፡ ወሐቅየ፡ ስነን፡ ወድንጋጼ፡ ልበ፡ ወርዕደ፡ ብርክ፡ ወይትቀጸዕ፡ ኲሉ፡ ሐቃ፡ ወገጸ፡ ኲሉ፡ ከመ፡ ጸለሎ፡ መቅጹት።
尼尼微現在空虛荒涼， 人心消化，雙膝相碰， 腰都疼痛，臉都變色。
She is empty, void, and waste. The heart melts, the knees knock together, their bodies and faces have grown pale.
2:11
አይቴ፡ ውእቱ፡ ግበበቢሆሙ፡ ለአናብስት፡ ወአይቴ፡ ይርረዩ፡ እጉለ፡ አናብስት፡ አይቴ፡ ሖረ፡ አንበሳ፡ ከመ፡ ይባዕ፡ ህየ፡ እጓለ፡ አንበሳ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይጌርሞ።
獅子的洞和少壯獅子餵養之處在哪裏呢？ 公獅母獅小獅遊行、無人驚嚇之地在哪裏呢？
Where is the den of the lions, and the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked with the lion’s cubs, and no one made them afraid?
2:12
አንበሳ፡ መሠጠ፡ ዘየአክሎ፡ ለእጎሊሁ፡ ወሐነቃ፡ ለአንስቲያሁ፡ ወመልአ፡ ዘነዐወ፡ ለእጎሊሁ፡ ወግቦሂ፡ እምዘመሠጠ።
公獅為小獅撕碎許多食物， 為母獅掐死活物， 把撕碎的、掐死的充滿牠的洞穴。
The lion tore in pieces enough for his cubs, and strangled prey for his lionesses, and filled his caves with the kill and his dens with prey.
2:13
ናሁ፡ አነ፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኰሉ፡ ይመልክ፡ ወአንድዶመሙ፡ ከመ፡ ጢስ፡ ለብዝኀከ፡ ወትበልዖመ፡ ኲናት፡ ለአናብስቲከ፡ ወአጠፍኦ፡ እምድር፡ ለማዕገትከ፡ ወኢይሰማዕ፡ እንከ፡ ምግባሪከ።
萬軍之耶和華說：「我與你為敵，必將你的車輛焚燒成煙，刀劍也必吞滅你的少壯獅子。我必從地上除滅你所撕碎的，你使者的聲音必不再聽見。」
“Behold, I am against you,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions; and I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voice of your messengers will no longer be heard.”
