3:1
አሌላ፡ ለሀገረ፡ ደም፡ እንተ፡ መልአት፡ ሐሰተ፡ ወጸግበት፡ ዓመፃ፡ ኢየትገሐስ፡ ማዕገት።
禍哉！這流人血的城， 充滿謊詐和強暴－ 搶奪的事總不止息。
Woe to the bloody city! It is all full of lies and robbery—no end to the prey.
3:2
ድምፀ፡ መቅሠፍት፡ ወቃለ፡ መንኮራኲር፡ ወአፍራስ፡ ዘይረውድ፡ ወሠረገላ፡ ዘይረውጽ፡ ወመስተጽዕናን፡ ዘይጼአኑ።
鞭聲響亮，車輪轟轟， 馬匹踢跳，車輛奔騰，
The noise of the whip, the noise of the rattling of wheels, prancing horses, and bounding chariots,
3:3
ወኲናት፡ ዘይመልስ፡ ወወላትው፡ ዘይበርቅ፡ ወብዙኃን፡ አብድንት፡ ወክብድ፡ ድቀት፡ ወአልቦ፡ ጽንፈ፡ አህዛቢሓ፡ ወይደውዩ፡ በስጋሆሙ፡ እምብዝኀ፡ ዝሙቶሙ።
馬兵爭先，刀劍發光， 槍矛閃爍，被殺的甚多， 屍首成了大堆， 屍骸無數，人碰着而跌倒，
the horseman charging, and the flashing sword, the glittering spear, and a multitude of slain, and a great heap of corpses, and there is no end of the bodies. They stumble on their bodies
3:4
ዘማ፡ ሠናይት፡ ወፍስሕት፡ ልህቀቶ፡ ለሰብአ፡ ስራይ፡ እንተ፡ ትሠይጥ፡ አሕዛበ፡ በዝሙታ፡ ወሕዝበ፡ በስራያቲሃ።
都因那美貌的妓女多有淫行， 慣行邪術，藉淫行誘惑列國， 用邪術誘惑 多族。
because of the multitude of the prostitution of the alluring prostitute, the mistress of witchcraft, who sells nations through her prostitution, and families through her witchcraft.
3:5
ናሁ፡ አነ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክ፡ ዘኲሎ፡ መልክ፡ ወእቀፍጸኪ፡ ድኅሬኪ፡ ውስተ፡ ገጽኪ፡ ወአርአዩሙ፡ ለአህዛብ፡ ኃፍረተኪ፡ ወለነገስት፡ ኃሳረኪ።
萬軍之耶和華說：我與你為敵； 我必揭起你的衣襟，蒙在你臉上， 使列國看見你的赤體， 使列邦觀看你的醜陋。
“Behold, I am against you,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and I will lift your skirts over your face. I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.
3:6
ወእገድፍ፡ ላዕኪ፡ ርኲሰ፡ ዘከመ፡ ረኮሲኪ፡ ወእሰጥሐኪ፡ ወእሬስየኪ፡ ኀስርተ።
我必將可憎污穢之物拋在你身上， 辱沒你，為眾目所觀。
I will throw abominable filth on you and make you vile, and will make you a spectacle.
3:7
ወኲሉ፡ ዘርአየኪ፡ ይወርድ፡ እምኔኪ፡ ወይብል፡ ደንገፀት፡ ነነዌ፡ መኑ፡ ይግዕር፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ እምአይቴ፡ ተኀስስ፡ ዘይናዝዛ።
凡看見你的，都必逃跑離開你， 說：尼尼微荒涼了！有誰為你悲傷呢？ 我何處尋得安慰你的人呢？
It will happen that all those who look at you will flee from you, and say, ‘Nineveh is laid waste! Who will mourn for her?’ Where will I seek comforters for you?”
3:8
ታስተዳሉ፡ መክፈልታ፡ ወትቃኒ፡ አውታሪሃ፡ ወታስተዳሉ፡ መክፈልተ፡ አሞን፡ እንተ፡ ትነብር፡ ውሰውተ፡ አፍላግ፡ ማይ፡ ሐፁራ፡ ወጽንፋ፡ ውስተ፡ ባሕር፡ ወማይ፡ አረፋሂ።
你豈比挪亞們強呢？ 挪亞們坐落在眾河之間，周圍有水； 海 作她的濠溝， 又作她的城牆。
Are you better than No-Amon, who was situated among the rivers, who had the waters around her, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was of the sea?
3:9
ወኢትዩጲያ፡ ኃይላ፡ ወግብፄልቦ፡ ጽንፈ፡ ለምጉያያ፡ ወሊቢዩ፡ ይረድእዋ።
古實和埃及是她無窮的力量； 弗人和路比族是她的幫手。
Cush and Egypt were her boundless strength. Put and Libya were her helpers.
3:10
ወለይእቲኒ፡ እምነ፡ ምንባሃ፡ ፄወውዋ፡ ወወሰድዋ፡ ወነጽኀዎሙ፡ ለሕፃናቲሃ፡ ውስተ፡ ኲሉ፡ ክብራ፡ ወይሞቅያዎሙ፡ ለኲሉ፡ መኳንንቲሃ።
但她被遷移，被擄去； 她的嬰孩在各市口上也被摔死。 人為她的尊貴人拈鬮； 她所有的大人都被鍊子鎖着。
Yet was she carried away. She went into captivity. Her young children also were dashed in pieces at the head of all the streets, and they cast lots for her honorable men, and all her great men were bound in chains.
3:11
ወአንቲሂ፡ ትሰክሪ፡ ወትከውኒ፡ እብደ፡ ወተኀስሲ፡ ለኪ፡ ዘይባሐኪ፡ አምፀርኪ።
你也必喝醉，必被埋藏， 並因仇敵的緣故尋求避難所。
You also will be drunken. You will be hidden. You also will seek a stronghold because of the enemy.
3:12
ወኢያድኀኒኪ፡ አጽዋንኪ፡ ወይሜምዑ፡ ማዓቅባንኪ፡ ወይወድቁ፡ ውስተ፡ አፈ፡ በላኢ።
你一切保障必像無花果樹上初熟的無花果， 若一搖撼就落在想吃之人的口中。
All your fortresses will be like fig trees with the first-ripe figs. If they are shaken, they fall into the mouth of the eater.
3:13
ናሁ፡ ለሕዛብኪ፡ ከመ፡ አንስት፡ በውስቴትኪ፡ ወይትረኀዋ፡ ለፀርኪ፡ አናቅጻ፡ ብሔርኪ፡ ወይቤልኦ፡ እሳት፡ ለመናስግትኪ።
你地上的人民如同婦女； 你國中的關口向仇敵敞開； 你的門閂被火焚燒。
Behold, your troops among you are women. The gates of your land are set wide open to your enemies. The fire has devoured your bars.
3:14
ናሁ፡ ማይ፡ ዐገተኪ፡ ፃኢ፡ ወአጽንኢ፡ አጽዋነኪ፡ ዕርጊ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽቡር፡ ወአጽብሪ፡ በሐሰር፡ ዋኣይብስዩ፡ በግልፋል።
你要打水預備受困； 要堅固你的保障， 踹土和泥，修補磚窯。
Draw water for the siege. Strengthen your fortresses. Go into the clay, and tread the mortar. Make the brick kiln strong.
3:15
እስመ፡ በህየ፡ ይበልአኪ፡ እሳት፡ ወታጠፍአኪ፡ ኲናት፡ ወይበልዐኪ፡ ከመ፡ አንበጣ፡ ወትከብዲ፡ እምደጎብያ።
在那裏，火必燒滅你； 刀必殺戮你， 吞滅你如同蝻子。 任你加增人數多如蝻子， 多如蝗蟲吧！
There the fire will devour you. The sword will cut you off. It will devour you like the grasshopper. Multiply like grasshoppers. Multiply like the locust.
3:16
አብዛኀኪ፡ ተግባረኪ፡ እምዶከበ፡ ሰማይ፡ ደጎብያ፡ ነበረ፡ ወሰረረሂ።
你增添商賈，多過天上的星； 蝻子吃盡而去。
You have increased your merchants more than the stars of the skies. The grasshopper strips and flees away.
3:17
ወአምሠጡ፡ ድሙራንኪ፡ ከመ፡ አንበጣ፡ ዜነብር፡ ዲበ፡ ጥቅ፡ በዕለተ፡ ጊሜ፡ ወሠረቀ፡ ፀሐይ፡ ትገሐስ፡ ወኢእመረት፡ ብሔራ፡ አሌሎሙ።
你的首領多如蝗蟲； 你的軍長彷彿成群的螞蚱， 天涼的時候齊落在籬笆上， 日頭一出便都飛去， 人不知道落在何處。
Your guards are like the locusts, and your officials like the swarms of locusts, which settle on the walls on a cold day, but when the sun appears, they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.
3:18
እስመ፡ ደቀሱ፡ ኖሎት፡ ንጉሠ፡ ፋርስ፡ አኖሞሙ፡ ለኃያላንኪ፡ ግዑዙ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ውስተ፡ አድባር፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይጸንሕ።
亞述王啊，你的牧人睡覺； 你的貴冑安歇； 你的人民散在山間，無人招聚。
Your shepherds slumber, king of Assyria. Your nobles lie down. Your people are scattered on the mountains, and there is no one to gather them.
3:19
ወአልቦ፡ ፈውሰ፡ ለቁስልኪ፡ ኲሕሠ፡ ጸልዕኪ፡ ኲሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ይሰምዑ፡ ዜና፡ ይጠፍሑ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ እስመ፡ ላእለ፡ ኲሉ፡ በጽሐት፡ እኪትኪ፡ በኲሉ፡ ጊዜ።
你的損傷無法醫治； 你的傷痕極其重大。 凡聽你信息的必都因此向你拍掌。 你所行的惡誰沒有時常遭遇呢？
There is no healing your wound, for your injury is fatal. All who hear the report of you clap their hands over you, for who hasn’t felt your endless cruelty?
