10:1
Ἀνὴρ δέ τις ἐν Καισαρίᾳ ὀνόματι Κορνήλιος, ἑκατοντάρχης ἐκ σπείρης τῆς καλουμένης Ἰταλικῆς,
在凱撒利亞有一個人，名叫哥尼流，是「意大利營」的百夫長。
Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,
10:2
εὐσεβὴς καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν σὺν παντὶ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ, ποιῶν ἐλεημοσύνας πολλὰς τῷ λαῷ καὶ δεόμενος τοῦ θεοῦ διαπαντός,
他是個虔誠人，他和全家都敬畏上帝，多多賙濟百姓，常常禱告上帝。
a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.
10:3
εἶδεν ἐν ὁράματι φανερῶς ὡσεὶ περὶ ὥραν ἐνάτην τῆς ἡμέρας ἄγγελον τοῦ θεοῦ εἰσελθόντα πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰπόντα αὐτῷ, Κορνήλιε.
有一天，約在申初，他在異象中明明看見上帝的一個使者進去，到他那裏，說：「哥尼流。」
At about the ninth hour of the day, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”
10:4
ὁ δὲ ἀτενίσας αὐτῷ καὶ ἔμφοβος γενόμενος εἶπεν, τί ἐστιν, κύριε; εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ, αἱ προσευχαί σου καὶ αἱ ἐλεημοσύναι σου ἀνέβησαν εἰς μνημόσυνον ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ θεοῦ.
哥尼流定睛看他，驚怕說：「主啊，甚麼事呢？」天使說：「你的禱告和你的賙濟達到上帝面前，已蒙記念了。
He, fastening his eyes on him and being frightened, said, “What is it, Lord?” He said to him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.
10:5
καὶ νῦν πέμψον ἄνδρας εἰς Ἰόππην καὶ μετάπεμψαι Σίμωνά τινα ὃς ἐπικαλεῖται Πέτρος·
現在你當打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來。
Now send men to Joppa, and get Simon, who is also called Peter.
10:6
οὗτος ξενίζεται παρά τινι Σίμωνι βυρσεῖ, ᾧ ἐστιν οἰκία παρὰ θάλασσαν.
他住在海邊一個硝皮匠西門的家裏，房子在海邊上。」
He is staying with a tanner named Simon, whose house is by the seaside.
10:7
ὡς δὲ ἀπῆλθεν ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν αὐτῷ, φωνήσας δύο τῶν οἰκετῶν καὶ στρατιώτην εὐσεβῆ τῶν προσκαρτερούντων αὐτῷ,
向他說話的天使去後，哥尼流叫了兩個家人和常伺候他的一個虔誠兵來，
When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.
10:8
καὶ ἐξηγησάμενος ἅπαντα αὐτοῖς ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν Ἰόππην.
把這事都述說給他們聽，就打發他們往約帕去。
Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.
10:9
Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον ὁδοιπορούντων αὐτῶν καὶ τῇ πόλει ἐγγιζόντων ἀνέβη Πέτρος ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα προσεύξασθαι περὶ ὥραν ἕκτην.
第二天，他們行路將近那城。彼得約在午正，上房頂去禱告，
Now on the next day as they were on their journey and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.
10:10
ἐγένετο δὲ πρόσπεινος καὶ ἤθελεν γεύσασθαι· παρασκευαζόντων δὲ αὐτῶν ἐγένετο ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἔκστασις,
覺得餓了，想要吃。那家的人正預備飯的時候，彼得魂遊象外，
He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.
10:11
καὶ θεωρεῖ τὸν οὐρανὸν ἀνεῳγμένον καὶ καταβαῖνον σκεῦός τι ὡς ὀθόνην μεγάλην τέσσαρσιν ἀρχαῖς καθιέμενον ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς,
看見天開了，有一物降下，好像一塊大布，繫着四角，縋在地上，
He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,
10:12
ἐν ᾧ ὑπῆρχεν πάντα τὰ τετράποδα καὶ ἑρπετὰ τῆς γῆς καὶ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ.
裏面有地上各樣四足的走獸和昆蟲，並天上的飛鳥；
in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky.
10:13
καὶ ἐγένετο φωνὴ πρὸς αὐτόν, ἀναστάς, Πέτρε, θῦσον καὶ φάγε.
又有聲音向他說：「彼得，起來，宰了吃！」
A voice came to him, “Rise, Peter, kill and eat!”
10:14
ὁ δὲ Πέτρος εἶπεν, μηδαμῶς, κύριε, ὅτι οὐδέποτε ἔφαγον πᾶν κοινὸν καὶ ἀκάθαρτον.
彼得卻說：「主啊，這是不可的！凡俗物和不潔淨的物，我從來沒有吃過。」
But Peter said, “Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”
10:15
καὶ φωνὴ πάλιν ἐκ δευτέρου πρὸς αὐτόν, ἃ ὁ θεὸς ἐκαθάρισεν σὺ μὴ κοίνου.
第二次有聲音向他說：「上帝所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。」
A voice came to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean.”
10:16
τοῦτο δὲ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ τρίς, καὶ εὐθὺς ἀνελήμφθη τὸ σκεῦος εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν.
這樣一連三次，那物隨即收回天上去了。
This was done three times, and immediately the thing was received up into heaven.
10:17
ὡς δὲ ἐν ἑαυτῷ διηπόρει ὁ Πέτρος τί ἂν εἴη τὸ ὅραμα ὃ εἶδεν, ἰδοὺ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ ἀπεσταλμένοι ὑπὸ τοῦ Κορνηλίου διερωτήσαντες τὴν οἰκίαν τοῦ Σίμωνος ἐπέστησαν ἐπὶ τὸν πυλῶνα,
彼得心裏正在猜疑之間，不知所看見的異象是甚麼意思。哥尼流所差來的人已經訪問到西門的家，站在門外，
Now while Peter was very perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood before the gate,
10:18
καὶ φωνήσαντες ἐπυνθάνοντο εἰ Σίμων ὁ ἐπικαλούμενος Πέτρος ἐνθάδε ξενίζεται.
喊着問：「有稱呼彼得的西門住在這裏沒有？」
and called and asked whether Simon, who was also called Peter, was lodging there.
10:19
τοῦ δὲ Πέτρου διενθυμουμένου περὶ τοῦ ὁράματος εἶπεν τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτῷ, ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες ζητοῦντές σε·
彼得還思想那異象的時候，聖靈向他說：「有三個人來找你。
While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men seek you.
10:20
ἀλλὰ ἀναστὰς κατάβηθι καὶ πορεύου σὺν αὐτοῖς μηδὲν διακρινόμενος, ὅτι ἐγὼ ἀπέσταλκα αὐτούς.
起來，下去，和他們同往，不要疑惑，因為是我差他們來的。」
But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.”
10:21
καταβὰς δὲ Πέτρος πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας εἶπεν· ἰδοὺ ἐγώ εἰμι ὃν ζητεῖτε· τίς ἡ αἰτία δι’ ἣν πάρεστε;
於是彼得下去見那些人，說：「我就是你們所找的人。你們來是為甚麼緣故？」
Peter went down to the men, and said, “Behold, I am he whom you seek. Why have you come?”
10:22
οἱ δὲ εἶπαν· Κορνήλιος ἑκατοντάρχης, ἀνὴρ δίκαιος καὶ φοβούμενος τὸν θεὸν μαρτυρούμενός τε ὑπὸ ὅλου τοῦ ἔθνους τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ἐχρηματίσθη ὑπὸ ἀγγέλου ἁγίου μεταπέμψασθαί σε εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκοῦσαι ῥήματα παρὰ σοῦ.
他們說：「百夫長哥尼流是個義人，敬畏上帝，為猶太通國所稱讚。他蒙一位聖天使指示，叫他請你到他家裏去，聽你的話。」
They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say.”
10:23
εἰσκαλεσάμενος οὖν αὐτοὺς ἐξένισεν. Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον ἀναστὰς ἐξῆλθεν σὺν αὐτοῖς, καί τινες τῶν ἀδελφῶν τῶν ἀπὸ Ἰόππης συνῆλθον αὐτῷ.
彼得就請他們進去，住了一宿。 次日，起身和他們同去，還有約帕的幾個弟兄同着他去；
So he called them in and provided a place to stay. On the next day Peter arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.
10:24
τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν Καισάριαν· ὁ δὲ Κορνήλιος ἦν προσδοκῶν αὐτούς, συνκαλεσάμενος τοὺς συγγενεῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἀναγκαίους φίλους.
又次日，他們進入凱撒利亞，哥尼流已經請了他的親屬密友等候他們。
On the next day they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.
10:25
ὡς δὲ ἐγένετο τοῦ εἰσελθεῖν τὸν Πέτρον, συναντήσας αὐτῷ ὁ Κορνήλιος πεσὼν ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας προσεκύνησεν.
彼得一進去，哥尼流就迎接他，俯伏在他腳前拜他。
When Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.
10:26
ὁ δὲ Πέτρος ἤγειρεν αὐτὸν λέγων, ἀνάστηθι· καὶ ἐγὼ αὐτὸς ἄνθρωπός εἰμι.
彼得卻拉他，說：「你起來，我也是人。」
But Peter raised him up, saying, “Stand up! I myself am also a man.”
10:27
καὶ συνομιλῶν αὐτῷ εἰσῆλθεν, καὶ εὑρίσκει συνεληλυθότας πολλούς,
彼得和他說着話進去，見有好些人在那裏聚集，
As he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.
10:28
ἔφη τε πρὸς αὐτούς, ὑμεῖς ἐπίστασθε ὡς ἀθέμιτόν ἐστιν ἀνδρὶ Ἰουδαίῳ κολλᾶσθαι ἢ προσέρχεσθαι ἀλλοφύλῳ· κἀμοὶ ἔδειξεν ὁ θεὸς μηδένα κοινὸν ἢ ἀκάθαρτον λέγειν ἄνθρωπον·
就對他們說：「你們知道，猶太人和別國的人親近來往本是不合例的，但上帝已經指示我，無論甚麼人都不可看作俗而不潔淨的。
He said to them, “You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean.
10:29
διὸ καὶ ἀναντιρρήτως ἦλθον μεταπεμφθείς. πυνθάνομαι οὖν τίνι λόγῳ μετεπέμψασθέ με;
所以我被請的時候，就不推辭而來。現在請問：你們叫我來有甚麼意思呢？」
Therefore I also came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?”
10:30
καὶ ὁ Κορνήλιος ἔφη, ἀπὸ τετάρτης ἡμέρας μέχρι ταύτης τῆς ὥρας ἤμην τὴν ἐνάτην προσευχόμενος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ἔστη ἐνώπιόν μου ἐν ἐσθῆτι λαμπρᾷ
哥尼流說：「前四天，這個時候，我在家中守着申初的禱告，忽然有一個人穿着光明的衣裳，站在我面前，
Cornelius said, “Four days ago, I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour, I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing
10:31
καὶ φησίν, Κορνήλιε, εἰσηκούσθη σου ἡ προσευχὴ καὶ αἱ ἐλεημοσύναι σου ἐμνήσθησαν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ.
說：『哥尼流，你的禱告已蒙垂聽，你的賙濟達到上帝面前已蒙記念了。
and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.
10:32
πέμψον οὖν εἰς Ἰόππην καὶ μετακάλεσαι Σίμωνα ὃς ἐπικαλεῖται Πέτρος· οὗτος ξενίζεται ἐν οἰκίᾳ Σίμωνος βυρσέως παρὰ θάλασσαν.
你當打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來，他住在海邊一個硝皮匠西門的家裏。』
Send therefore to Joppa and summon Simon, who is also called Peter. He is staying in the house of a tanner named Simon, by the seaside. When he comes, he will speak to you.’
10:33
ἐξαυτῆς οὖν ἔπεμψα πρὸς σέ, σύ τε καλῶς ἐποίησας παραγενόμενος. νῦν οὖν πάντες ἡμεῖς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ πάρεσμεν ἀκοῦσαι πάντα τὰ προστεταγμένα σοι ὑπὸ τοῦ κυρίου.
所以我立時打發人去請你。你來了很好；現今我們都在上帝面前，要聽主所吩咐你的一切話。」
Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by God.”
10:34
Ἀνοίξας δὲ Πέτρος τὸ στόμα εἶπεν· ἐπ’ ἀληθείας καταλαμβάνομαι ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν προσωπολήμπτης ὁ θεός,
彼得就開口說：「我真看出上帝是不偏待人。
Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism;
10:35
ἀλλ’ ἐν παντὶ ἔθνει ὁ φοβούμενος αὐτὸν καὶ ἐργαζόμενος δικαιοσύνην δεκτὸς αὐτῷ ἐστιν.
原來，各國中那敬畏主、行義的人都為主所悅納。
but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
10:36
τὸν λόγον ὃν ἀπέστειλεν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ εὐαγγελιζόμενος εἰρήνην διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ· οὗτός ἐστιν πάντων κύριος·
上帝藉着耶穌基督（他是萬有的主）傳和平的福音，將這道賜給以色列人。
The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all—
10:37
ὑμεῖς οἴδατε, τὸ γενόμενον ῥῆμα καθ’ ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας, ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας μετὰ τὸ βάπτισμα ὃ ἐκήρυξεν Ἰωάννης,
這話在約翰宣傳洗禮以後，從加利利起，傳遍了猶太。
you yourselves know what happened, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
10:38
Ἰησοῦν τὸν ἀπὸ Ναζαρέθ, ὡς ἔχρισεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεὸς πνεύματι ἁγίῳ καὶ δυνάμει, ὃς διῆλθεν εὐεργετῶν καὶ ἰώμενος πάντας τοὺς καταδυναστευομένους ὑπὸ τοῦ διαβόλου, ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἦν μετ’ αὐτοῦ.
上帝怎樣以聖靈和能力膏拿撒勒人耶穌，這都是你們知道的。他周流四方，行善事，醫好凡被魔鬼壓制的人，因為上帝與他同在。
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
10:39
καὶ ἡμεῖς μάρτυρες πάντων ὧν ἐποίησεν ἔν τε τῇ χώρᾳ τῶν Ἰουδαίων καὶ ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ, ὃν καὶ ἀνεῖλαν κρεμάσαντες ἐπὶ ξύλου.
他在猶太人之地，並耶路撒冷所行的一切事，有我們作見證。他們竟把他掛在木頭上殺了。
We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom they also killed, hanging him on a tree.
10:40
τοῦτον ὁ θεὸς ἤγειρεν ἐν τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸν ἐμφανῆ γενέσθαι,
第三日，上帝叫他復活，顯現出來；
God raised him up the third day and gave him to be revealed,
10:41
οὐ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ ἀλλὰ μάρτυσιν τοῖς προκεχειροτονημένοις ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἡμῖν, οἵτινες συνεφάγομεν καὶ συνεπίομεν αὐτῷ μετὰ τὸ ἀναστῆναι αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν·
不是顯現給眾人看，乃是顯現給上帝預先所揀選為他作見證的人看，就是我們這些在他從死裏復活以後和他同吃同喝的人。
not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
10:42
καὶ παρήγγειλεν ἡμῖν κηρύξαι τῷ λαῷ καὶ διαμαρτύρασθαι ὅτι αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ ὡρισμένος ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ κριτὴς ζώντων καὶ νεκρῶν.
他吩咐我們傳道給眾人，證明他是上帝所立定的，要作審判活人、死人的主。
He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.
10:43
τούτῳ πάντες οἱ προφῆται μαρτυροῦσιν, ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν λαβεῖν διὰ τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ πάντα τὸν πιστεύοντα εἰς αὐτόν.
眾先知也為他作見證說：『凡信他的人必因他的名得蒙赦罪。』」
All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.”
10:44
Ἔτι λαλοῦντος τοῦ Πέτρου τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα ἐπέπεσεν τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀκούοντας τὸν λόγον.
彼得還說這話的時候，聖靈降在一切聽道的人身上。
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.
10:45
καὶ ἐξέστησαν οἱ ἐκ περιτομῆς πιστοὶ ὅσοι συνῆλθαν τῷ Πέτρῳ, ὅτι καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη ἡ δωρεὰ τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος ἐκκέχυται·
那些奉割禮、和彼得同來的信徒，見聖靈的恩賜也澆在外邦人身上，就都希奇；
They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.
10:46
ἤκουον γὰρ αὐτῶν λαλούντων γλώσσαις καὶ μεγαλυνόντων τὸν θεόν. τότε ἀπεκρίθη Πέτρος,
因聽見他們說方言，稱讚上帝為大。
For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,
10:47
μήτι τὸ ὕδωρ δύναται κωλῦσαί τις τοῦ μὴ βαπτισθῆναι τούτους οἵτινες τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἔλαβον ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς;
於是彼得說：「這些人既受了聖靈，與我們一樣，誰能禁止用水給他們施洗呢？」
“Can anyone forbid these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just like us.”
10:48
προσέταξεν δὲ αὐτοῖς ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ βαπτισθῆναι. τότε ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν ἐπιμεῖναι ἡμέρας τινάς.
就吩咐奉耶穌基督的名給他們施洗。他們又請彼得住了幾天。
He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay some days.
