4:1

Φοβηθῶμεν οὖν μήποτε καταλειπομένης ἐπαγγελίας εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσιν αὐτοῦ δοκῇ τις ἐξ ὑμῶν ὑστερηκέναι·

我們既蒙留下，有進入他安息的應許，就當畏懼，免得我們中間或有人似乎是趕不上了。

Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.

4:2

καὶ γάρ ἐσμεν εὐηγγελισμένοι καθάπερ κἀκεῖνοι, ἀλλ’ οὐκ ὠφέλησεν ὁ λόγος τῆς ἀκοῆς ἐκείνους, μὴ συνκεκερασμένος τῇ πίστει τοῖς ἀκούσασιν.

因為有福音傳給我們，像傳給他們一樣；只是所聽見的道與他們無益，因為他們沒有信心與所聽見的道調和。

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.

4:3

εἰσερχόμεθα γὰρ εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσιν οἱ πιστεύσαντες, καθὼς εἴρηκεν, ὡς ὤμοσα ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ μου, εἰ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσίν μου, καίτοι τῶν ἔργων ἀπὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου γενηθέντων.

但我們已經相信的人得以進入那安息，正如上帝所說：「我在怒中起誓說：『他們斷不可進入我的安息！』」其實造物之工，從創世以來已經成全了。

For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4:4

εἴρηκεν γάρ που περὶ τῆς ἑβδόμης οὕτως, καὶ κατέπαυσεν ὁ θεὸς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἔργων αὐτοῦ·

論到第七日，有一處說：「到第七日，上帝就歇了他一切的工。」

For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, “God rested on the seventh day from all his works;”

4:5

καὶ ἐν τούτῳ πάλιν, εἰ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσίν μου.

又有一處說：「他們斷不可進入我的安息！」

and in this place again, “They will not enter into my rest.”

4:6

ἐπεὶ οὖν ἀπολείπεται τινὰς εἰσελθεῖν εἰς αὐτήν, καὶ οἱ πρότερον εὐαγγελισθέντες οὐκ εἰσῆλθον δι’ ἀπείθειαν,

既有必進安息的人，那先前聽見福音的，因為不信從，不得進去。

Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter into it, and they to whom the good news was preached before failed to enter in because of disobedience,

4:7

πάλιν τινὰ ὁρίζει ἡμέραν, σήμερον, ἐν Δαυεὶδ λέγων μετὰ τοσοῦτον χρόνον, καθὼς προείρηται, σήμερον ἐὰν τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ ἀκούσητε, μὴ σκληρύνητε τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν.

所以過了多年，就在大衛的書上，又限定一日，如以上所引的說：「你們今日若聽他的話，就不可硬着心。」

he again defines a certain day, “today”, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.”

4:8

εἰ γὰρ αὐτοὺς Ἰησοῦς κατέπαυσεν, οὐκ ἂν περὶ ἄλλης ἐλάλει μετὰ ταῦτα ἡμέρας.

若是約書亞已叫他們享了安息，後來上帝就不再提別的日子了。

For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.

4:9

ἄρα ἀπολείπεται σαββατισμὸς τῷ λαῷ τοῦ θεοῦ·

這樣看來，必另有一安息日的安息為上帝的子民存留。

There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
