1:1
Et fecit Josias Pascha in Jerosolymis Domino, et immolavit Phase quarta decima luna primi mensis,
約西亞在耶路撒冷向他的主守逾越節,在正月十四日宰了逾越節的羊羔。
Josias held the passover in Jerusalem to his Lord, and offered the passover the fourteenth day of the first month;

statuens sacerdotes per vices dierum stolis amictos in templo Domini.
他按班次設立祭司,使他們穿著禮服在主的聖殿裡供職。
having set the priests according to their daily courses, being arrayed in their vestments, in the temple of the Lord.
1:3
Et dixit Levitis sacris servis Israël, ut sanctificarent se Domino in positione sanctæ arcæ Domini, in domo, quam ædificavit Salomon filius David rex.
他又吩咐那些事奉以色列的利未人潔淨自己歸於主,把主的聖約櫃安放在大衛之子所羅門王所建造的殿中,說:「你們不必再用肩抬約櫃了。
And he spoke to the Levites, the temple-servants of Israel, that they should hallow themselves to the Lord, to set the holy ark of the Lord in the house that King Solomon the son of David had built:
1:4
Non erit vobis tollere super humeros eam. Et nunc deservite Domino vestro, et curam agite gentis illius Israël ex parte secundum pagos et tribus vestras,
如今你們要事奉主你們的神,服事祂的子民以色列,照以色列王大衛的條例和他兒子所羅門的尊榮,按你們的宗族和支派預備好。
and said, You⌃ shall no more have need to bear it upon your shoulders: now therefore serve the Lord your God, and minister to his people Israel, and prepare you after your fathers’ houses and kindred,
1:5
secundum scripturam David regis Israël, et secundum magnificentiam Salomonis filii ejus, omnes in templo, et secundum particulam principatus paternam vestram eorum, qui stant in conspectu fratrum filiorum Israël.
你們利未人要按宗族班次站在聖殿裡,在你們弟兄以色列子孫面前依序供職。
according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the magnificence of Solomon his son: and standing in the holy place according to the several divisions of the families of you the Levites, who minister in the presence of your kindred the children of Israel,
1:6
Immolate Pascha, et sacrificia parate fratribus vestris, et facite secundum præceptum Domini quod datum est Moysi.
你們要宰逾越節的羊羔,為你們的弟兄預備祭物,照主藉摩西所頒的命令守逾越節。」
offer the passover in order, and make ready the sacrifices for your kindred, and keep the passover according to the commandment of the Lord, which was given to Moses.
1:7
Et donavit Josias in plebem, quæ inventa est, ovium, agnorum, et hœdorum, et caprarum triginta millia, vitulos tria millia.
約西亞把三萬隻羊羔和山羊、三千頭牛犢賜給在場的百姓,這都是照所應許的,從王的產業中分給百姓、祭司和利未人的。
And to the people which were present Josias gave thirty thousand lambs and kids, and three thousand calves: these things were given of the king’s substance, according as he promised, to the people, and to the priests and Levites.
1:8
Hæc de regalibus data sunt secundum promissionem populo : et sacerdotibus in Pascha, oves numero duo millia, ac vituli centum.
聖殿的總管希勒家、撒迦利亞和耶希羅,給祭司預備了二千六百隻羊和三百頭牛犢作逾越節之用。
And Helkias, and Zacharias, and Esyelus, the rulers of the temple, gave to the priests for the passover two thousand and six hundred sheep, and three hundred calves.
1:9
Et Jechonias, et Semejas, et Nathanaël fratres, et Hasabias, et Oziel, et Coraba in Phase, oves quinque millia, vitulos quingentos.
耶哥尼雅、示瑪雅和他的兄弟拿坦業,以及哈沙比雅、耶利和約蘭這些千夫長,給利未人預備了五千隻羊和七百頭牛犢作逾越節之用。
And Jeconias, and Samaias and Nathanael his brother, and Sabias, and Ochielus, and Joram, captains over thousands, gave to the Levites for the passover five thousand sheep, and seven hundred calves.
1:10
Et hæc cum fierent eleganter, steterunt sacerdotes et Levitæ habentes azyma per tribus.
祭司和利未人妥當地辦理這些事,
And when these things were done, the priests and Levites, having the unleavened bread, stood in comely order according to the kindred,
1:11
Et secundum partes principatus patrum in conspectu populi offerebant Domino, secundum ea quæ in libro Moysi scripta sunt :
按支派拿著無酵餅,
and according to the several divisions by fathers’ houses, before the people, to offer to the Lord, as it is written in the book of Moses: and thus did they in the morning.
1:12
et assaverunt Phase igni prout oportebat : et hostias coxerunt in emolis, et in ollis cum benevolentia :
又按宗族班次在百姓面前,照摩西書上所寫的獻給主,早晨也是這樣。
And they roasted the passover with fire, as appertains: and the sacrifices they sod in the brazen vessels and caldrons with a good savor,
1:13
et attulerunt omnibus qui erant ex plebe : et post hæc paraverunt sibi et sacerdotibus.
他們照例用火烤逾越節的羊羔,又在銅鍋和大鍋裡煮祭物,帶著香氣,分給眾百姓。
and set them before all the people: and afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the priests their kindred, the sons of Aaron.
1:14
Sacerdotes enim offerebant adipes, usque dum finita esset hora : et Levitæ paraverunt sibi et fratribus suis, filiis Aaron.
此後他們才為自己和作祭司的弟兄亞倫的子孫預備,因為祭司獻祭脂油直到深夜,利未人便為自己和作祭司的弟兄亞倫的子孫預備。
For the priests offered the fat until night: and the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests their kindred, the sons of Aaron.
1:15
Et sacri cantores filii Asaph erant per ordinem secundum præceptum David, et Asaph, et Zacharias, et Jeddimus, qui erat a rege.
亞薩的子孫歌唱者各按班次供職,照大衛所定的;亞薩、撒迦利亞和王所派的耶丁努也是如此。守門的看守各門,無一人擅離自己的班次,因他們的弟兄利未人為他們預備了。
The holy singers also, the sons of Asaph, were in their order, according to the appointment of David, to wit, Asaph, Zacharias, and Eddinus, who was of the king’s retinue.
1:16
Et ostiarii per singulas januas, ita ut non prævaricaretur unusquisque suam : fratres enim illorum paraverunt illis.
當日守逾越節、照約西亞王的吩咐把祭物獻在主壇上的事,就這樣辦妥了。
Moreover the gatekeepers were at every gate; none had need to depart from his daily course: for their kindred the Levites prepared for them.
1:17
Et consummata sunt quæ pertinebant ad sacrificium Domini.
那時在場的以色列子孫守了逾越節和無酵節七天。
Thus were the things that belonged to the sacrifices of the Lord accomplished in that day, in holding the passover,
1:18
In illa die egerunt Phase, et offerebant hostias super Domini sacrificium, secundum præceptum regis Josiæ.
自從先知撒母耳的時代以來,以色列中沒有守過這樣的逾越節。
and offering sacrifices upon the altar of the Lord, according to the commandment of King Josias.
1:19
Et egerunt filii Israël, qui inventi sunt in tempore illo, Phase : et diem festum azymorum per dies septem :
以色列諸王都沒有守過像約西亞和祭司、利未人、猶大人,並當時在耶路撒冷的以色列眾人所守的這樣的逾越節。
So the children of Israel which were present at that time held the passover, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
1:20
et non est celebratum Phase tale in Israël, a temporibus Samuelis prophetæ :
這逾越節是在約西亞作王第十八年守的。
And such a passover was not held in Israel since the time of the prophet Samuel.
1:21
et omnes reges Israël non celebraverunt tale Pascha, quale egit Josias, et Sacerdotes et Levitæ, et Judæi, et omnis Israël, qui inventi sunt in commoratione Jerosolymis.
約西亞所行的,在他的主面前是正直的,他存著滿有敬虔的心。
Yes, all the kings of Israel held not such a passover as Josias, and the priests, and the Levites, and the Jews, held with all Israel that were present in their dwelling place at Jerusalem.
1:22
Octavo decimo anno, regnante Josia, celebratum est Phase.
關於他的事蹟,從前已有記載,論到那些在各國各邦中得罪主、行不敬虔之事的人,以及他們明知故犯使主憂傷的事;主的話便應驗在以色列身上。
In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josias was this passover held.
1:23
Et directa sunt opera Josiæ in conspectu Domini sui in corde pleno metuentis :
約西亞行完這一切之後,埃及王法老來,在幼發拉底河邊的迦基米施挑起戰爭,約西亞便出去迎戰。
And the works of Josias were upright before his Lord with a heart full of godliness.
1:24
et quæ circa illum quidem conscripta sunt, in pristinis temporibus de eis, qui peccaverunt, quique irreligiosi fuerunt in Dominum præ omni gente, et qui non quæsierunt verba Domini super Israël.
埃及王差人對他說:「猶大王啊,我與你有甚麼相干呢?
Moreover the things that came to pass in his days have been written in times past, concerning those that sinned, and did wickedly against the Lord above every people and kingdom, and how they grieved him exceedingly, so that the words of the Lord were confirmed against Israel.
1:25
Et post omnem actum hunc Josiæ, ascendit Pharao rex Ægypti, veniens in Charcamis ab itinere super Euphratem, et exiit obviam illi Josias.
我並不是主神差來攻擊你的,我的爭戰乃是在幼發拉底河邊。如今主與我同在,主催促我前行。你退去罷,不要與主作對。」
Now after all these acts of Josias it came to pass, that Pharaoh the king of Egypt came to raise war at Carchemish upon Euphrates: and Josias went out against him.
1:26
Et misit rex Ægypti ad Josiam, dicens : Quid mihi et tibi est rex Judæ ?
約西亞卻不肯轉回自己的戰車,反倒執意要與他爭戰,不理會出於主口的先知耶利米的話,
But the king of Egypt sent to him, saying, What have I to do with you, O king of Judea?
1:27
Non sum missus a Domino ut pugnem contra te: super Euphratem enim bellum meum est, festinans descende.
竟在米吉多的平原與他交戰。眾首領便下到約西亞王那裡。
I am not sent out from the Lord God against you; for my war is upon Euphrates: and now the Lord is with me, yes, the Lord is with me hasting me forward: depart from me, and be not against the Lord.
1:28
Et non est reversus Josias super currum : sed expugnare eum conabatur, non attendens verbum prophetæ ex ore Domini :
王對臣僕說:「把我抬離戰場罷,我傷得很重。」臣僕便立即把他抬離了陣線。
Howbeit Josias did not turn back to his chariot, but undertook to fight with him, not regarding the words of the prophet Jeremy spoken by the mouth of the Lord:
1:29
sed constituit ad eum bellum in campo Mageddo. Et descenderunt principes ad regem Josiam.
他登上自己的副車,被送回耶路撒冷,便結束了一生,葬在祖墳裡。
but joined battle with him in the plain of Megiddo, and the princes came down against King Josias.
1:30
Et dixit rex pueris suis, Amovete me a prælio, infirmatus sum enim valde. Et statim amoverunt eum pueri ipsius de acie.
全猶大都為約西亞舉哀,先知耶利米為約西亞作哀歌,眾首領和婦女也為他哀哭,直到今日;這事被定為以色列全族永遠的定例。
Then said the king to his servants, Carry me away out of the battle; for I am very weak. And immediately his servants carried him away out of the army.
1:31
Et ascendit super currum secundarium suum : et perveniens Jerosolymam, vita functus est, et sepultus est in paterno sepulchro.
這些事都記在記述猶大列王之事的書上;約西亞所行的每一件事、他的榮耀,以及他在主律法上的明達,並他從前和如今所行的,都記在以色列和猶大列王記上。
Then got he up upon his second chariot; and being brought back to Jerusalem he died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his fathers.
1:32
Et in tota Judæa lugebant Josiam : et qui præsidebant cum uxoribus lamentabant eum usque in hunc diem. Et datum est hoc fieri semper in omne genus Israël.
國民立約西亞的兒子耶哥尼雅接續他父親約西亞作王,那時他二十三歲。
And in all Jewry they mourned for Josias; and Jeremy the prophet lamented for Josias, and the chief men with the women made lamentation for him, to this day: and this was given out for an ordinance to be done continually in all the nation of Israel.
1:33
Hæc autem præscripta sunt in libro historiarum regum Judæ : et singula gesta actus Josiæ, et ejus gloria et intellectus ejus in lege Domini : quæque gesta sunt ab eo, et quæ non scripta sunt in libro regum Israël et Judæ.
他在猶大和耶路撒冷作王三個月,埃及王便廢了他在耶路撒冷的王位,
These things are written in the book of the histories of the kings of Judea, and every one of the acts that Josias did, and his glory, and his understanding in the law of the Lord, and the things that he had done before, and the things now recited, are reported in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
1:34
Et assumentes qui erant ex gente Jechoniam filium Josiæ, constituerunt regem pro Josia patre suo, cum esset annorum trigintatrium.
並罰那民族一百他連得銀子和一他連得金子。
And the people took Joachaz the son of Josias, and made him king instead of Josias his father, when he was twenty and three years old.
1:35
Et regnavit super Israël mensibus tribus. Et amovit eum rex Ægypti, ne regnaret in Jerosolymis :
埃及王立耶哥尼雅的兄弟約雅敬作猶大和耶路撒冷的王。
And he reigned in Judah and in Jerusalem three months: and then the king of Egypt deposed him from reigning in Jerusalem.
1:36
et mulctavit gentem argenti talenta centum, et auri talentum unum.
約雅敬把眾貴胄捆綁起來,又捉拿他的兄弟撒利烏,把他從埃及帶上來。
And he set a tax upon the people of a hundred talents of silver and one talent of gold.
1:37
Et constituit rex Ægypti Joacim fratrem ipsius, regem Judæ et Jerusalem :
約雅敬作猶大和耶路撒冷王的時候年二十五歲,他行主眼中看為惡的事。
The king of Egypt also made King Joakim his brother king of Judea and Jerusalem.
1:38
et alligavit magistratus Joacim, et Zaracelem fratrem suum, et apprehendens reduxit in Ægyptum.
巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上來攻擊他,用銅鏈把他捆住,帶到巴比倫去。
And Joakim bound the nobles: but Zarakes his brother he apprehended, and brought him up out of Egypt.
1:39
Annorum erat Joacim vigintiquinque, cum regnare cœpisset in terra Juda et Jerusalem : et fecit malum in conspectu Domini.
尼布甲尼撒又取了主聖殿的一些器皿帶走,安放在他巴比倫的廟裡。
Five and twenty years old was Joakim when he began to reign in Judea and Jerusalem; and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.
1:40
Post hunc autem ascendit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, et alligans eum in æreo vinculo, perduxit in Babyloniam :
關於他的事蹟、他的污穢和不敬虔的記載,都寫在列王紀年史上。
And against him Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon came up, and bound him with a chain of brass, and carried him to Babylon.
1:41
et sacra vasa Domini accepit Nabuchodonosor, et tulit et consecravit in templo suo in Babylonia.
他的兒子約雅斤接續他作王,被立的時候年十八歲。
Nabuchodonosor also took of the holy vessels of the Lord, and carried them away, and set them up in his own temple at Babylon.
1:42
Nam de immunditia illius, et irreligiositate scriptum est in libro temporum regum.
他在耶路撒冷作王三個月零十天,行主眼中看為惡的事。
But those things that are reported of him, and of his uncleanness and impiety, are written in the chronicles of the kings.
1:43
Et regnavit Joachin filius ejus pro eo. Cum autem constitutus esset rex, erat annorum decem et octo.
過了一年,尼布甲尼撒差人把他連同主聖殿的器皿一同帶到巴比倫去。
And Joakim his son reigned in his stead: for when he was made king he was eighteen years old;
1:44
Regnavit autem menses tres, et dies decem in Jerusalem, et fecit malum in conspectu Domini :
尼布甲尼撒立西底家作猶大和耶路撒冷的王,西底家那時年二十一歲,作王十一年。
and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem; and did that which was evil before the Lord.
1:45
et post annum mittens Nabuchodonosor, transmigravit eum in Babyloniam simul cum sacris vasis Domini.
他行主眼中看為惡的事,對出於主口、藉先知耶利米所說的話毫無懼怕。
So after a year Nabuchodonosor sent and caused him to be brought to Babylon with the holy vessels of the Lord;
1:46
Et constituit Sedeciam regem Juda, et Jerusalem, cum esset annorum viginti unius : regnavit autem annis undecim.
他雖曾奉主的名向尼布甲尼撒王起誓,卻背了誓而背叛,硬著頸項,剛硬己心,違背了主以色列之神的律例。
and made Sedekias king of Judea and Jerusalem, when he was one and twenty years old; and he reigned eleven years:
1:47
Et fecit malum in conspectu Domini, et non est veritus a verbis, quæ dicta sunt ab Jeremia propheta ex ore Domini :
百姓和祭司的首領們也多行不敬虔、不法的事,超過列國一切的污穢,玷污了在耶路撒冷成聖的主聖殿。
and he also did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and cared not for the words that were spoken by Jeremy the prophet from the mouth of the Lord.
1:48
et adjuratus a rege Nabuchodonosor, perjurans discessit : et indurata cervice sua, et corde suo, transgressus est legitima Domini Dei Israël.
他們列祖的神藉著祂的使者差遣勸告,要召他們回轉,因祂憐惜他們和祂的居所。
And after that king Nabuchodonosor had made him to swear by the name of the Lord, he forswore himself, and rebelled; and hardening his neck, and his heart, he transgressed the laws of the Lord, the God of Israel.
1:49
Et duces populi Domini multa inique gesserunt, et impie egerunt super omnes immunditias gentium : et polluerunt templum Domini quod sanctum erat in Jerosolymis.
他們卻譏笑祂的使者;主說話的日子,他們嘲弄祂的先知,直到祂因他們的不敬虔向自己的民族發怒,便下令使迦勒底列王上來攻擊他們。
Moreover the governors of the people and of the priests did many things wickedly, and passed all the pollutions of all nations, and defiled the temple of the Lord, which was sanctified in Jerusalem.
1:50
Et misit Deus patrum ipsorum per angelum suum revocare eos, propter quod parceret illis, et tabernaculo suo.
這些人在他們聖殿四圍用刀殺戮他們的少年人,不憐惜少年、處女、老者和幼童,主把眾人都交在他們手中。
And the God of their fathers sent by his messenger to call them back, because he had compassion on them and on his dwelling place.
1:51
Ipsi vero subsannabant in angelis suis : et qua die locutus est Dominus, erant illudentes prophetis ejus.
他們又取去主聖殿一切大小的聖器、主的約櫃和王的庫房,帶到巴比倫去。
But they mocked his messengers; and in the day when the Lord spoke to them, they scoffed at his prophets:
1:52
Qui usque ad iracundiam concitatus est super gentem suam propter irreligiositatem suam, et præcepit ascendere reges Chaldæorum.
他們焚燒了主的殿,拆毀了耶路撒冷的城牆,又放火燒了城樓,
so far forth, that he, being angry with his people for their great ungodliness, commanded to bring up the kings of the Chaldeans against them;
1:53
Hi occiderunt juvenes eorum in gladio, in circuitu sancti templi eorum, et non pepercerunt juveni, et seni, et virgini, et adolescenti :
使城中一切華美之物盡都廢毀,並把餘剩的人用刀擄到巴比倫去。
who killed their young men with the sword, round about their holy temple, and spared neither young man nor maid, old man nor child; but he delivered all into their hands.
1:54
sed omnes traditi sunt in manus ipsorum : et omnia sacra vasa Domini, et regales apothecas resumentes, tulerunt in Babyloniam,
這些人作了王和他子孫的奴僕,直到波斯人作王,好應驗主藉耶利米口所說的話,
And they took all the holy vessels of the Lord, both great and small, with the vessels of the ark of the Lord, and the king’s treasures, and carried them away to Babylon.
1:55
et incenderunt domum Domini, et demolierunt muros Jerusalem : et turres ejus incenderunt igne,
直等到這地享受了它的安息;在它荒涼的整段日子,它必守安息,直到滿了七十年。
And they burned the house of the Lord, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem, and burned the towers thereof with fire:
1:56
et consummaverunt omnia honorifica ejus, et ad nihilum redegerunt, et reliquos a gladio duxerunt in Babylonem.
他們使城中一切華美之物盡都廢毀,化為烏有,又把餘剩脫離刀劍的人擄到巴比倫去。
and as for her glorious things, they never ceased till they had brought them all to nothing: and the people that were not slain with the sword he carried to Babylon:
1:57
Et erant servi illius usque dum regnarent Persæ in repletione verbi Domini in ore Jeremiæ :
這些人作了他的奴僕,直到波斯人作王,好應驗主藉耶利米口所說的話,
and they were servants to him and to his children, till the Persians reigned, to fulfil the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremy:
1:58
quousque benigne ageret terra sabbata sua, omni tempore desertionis suæ sabbatizavit in applicatione annorum septuaginta septem.
直等到這地享受它的安息;在它荒涼的整段日子,它必守安息,直到滿了七十七年。
Until the land has enjoyed her Sabbaths, the whole time of her desolation shall she keep Sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
