23:1
Haec autem sunt verba David novissima. Dixit David filius Isai : Dixit vir, cui constitutum est de christo Dei Jacob, egregius psaltes Israël :
以下是大衛末了的話。耶西的兒子大衛得居高位，是雅各上帝所膏的，作以色列的美歌者，說：
Now these are the last words of David. David the son of Jesse says, the man who was raised on high says, the anointed of the God of Jacob, the sweet psalmist of Israel:
23:2
Spiritus Domini locutus est per me, et sermo ejus per linguam meam.
耶和華的靈藉着我說： 他的話在我口中。
“Yahweh’s Spirit spoke by me. His word was on my tongue.
23:3
Dixit Deus Israël mihi, locutus est fortis Israël : Dominator hominum, justus dominator in timore Dei,
以色列的上帝、 以色列的磐石曉諭我說： 那以公義治理人民的， 敬畏上帝執掌權柄，
The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spoke to me, ‘One who rules over men righteously, who rules in the fear of God,
23:4
sicut lux aurorae, oriente sole, mane absque nubibus rutilat : et sicut pluviis germinat herba de terra.
他必像日出的晨光， 如無雲的清晨， 雨後的晴光， 使地發生嫩草。
shall be as the light of the morning when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, when the tender grass springs out of the earth, through clear shining after rain.’
23:5
Nec tanta est domus mea apud Deum, ut pactum aeternum iniret mecum, firmum in omnibus atque munitum. Cuncta enim salus mea, et omnis voluntas, nec est quidquam ex ea quod non germinet.
我家在上帝面前並非如此； 上帝卻與我立永遠的約。 這約凡事堅穩， 關乎我的一切救恩和我一切所想望的， 他豈不為我成就嗎？
Isn’t my house so with God? Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure, for it is all my salvation and all my desire. Won’t he make it grow?
23:6
Praevaricatores autem quasi spinae evellentur universi, quae non tolluntur manibus.
但匪類都必像荊棘被丟棄； 人不敢用手拿它；
But all the ungodly will be as thorns to be thrust away, because they can’t be taken with the hand.
23:7
Et si quis tangere voluerit eas, armabitur ferro et ligno lanceato, igneque succensae comburentur usque ad nihilum.
拿它的人必帶鐵器和槍桿， 終久它必被火焚燒。
The man who touches them must be armed with iron and the staff of a spear. They will be utterly burned with fire in their place.”
23:8
Haec nomina fortium David. Sedens in cathedra sapientissimus princeps inter tres, ipse est quasi tenerrimus ligni vermiculus, qui octingentos interfecit impetu uno.
大衛勇士的名字記在下面：他革捫人約設‧巴設，又稱伊斯尼人亞底挪，他是軍長的統領，一時擊殺了八百人。
These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb Basshebeth, a Tahchemonite, chief of the captains; he was called Adino the Eznite, who killed eight hundred at one time.
23:9
Post hunc, Eleazar filius patrui ejus Ahohites inter tres fortes, qui erant cum David quando exprobraverunt Philisthiim, et congregati sunt illuc in praelium.
其次是亞合人朵多的兒子以利亞撒。從前非利士人聚集要打仗，以色列人迎着上去，有跟隨大衛的三個勇士向非利士人罵陣，其中有以利亞撒。
After him was Eleazar the son of Dodai the son of an Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel had gone away.
23:10
Cumque ascendissent viri Israël, ipse stetit et percussit Philisthaeos donec deficeret manus ejus, et obrigesceret cum gladio : fecitque Dominus salutem magnam in die illa : et populus qui fugerat, reversus est ad caesorum spolia detrahenda.
他起來擊殺非利士人，直到手臂疲乏，手黏住刀把。那日耶和華使以色列人大獲全勝；眾民在以利亞撒後頭專奪財物。
He arose and struck the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand froze to the sword; and Yahweh worked a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to take plunder.
23:11
Et post hunc, Semma filius Age de Arari. Et congregati sunt Philisthiim in statione : erat quippe ibi ager lente plenus. Cumque fugisset populus a facie Philisthiim,
其次是哈拉人亞基的兒子沙瑪。一日，非利士人聚集成群，在一塊長滿紅豆的田裏，眾民就在非利士人面前逃跑。
After him was Shammah the son of Agee, a Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a plot of ground full of lentils; and the people fled from the Philistines.
23:12
stetit ille in medio agri, et tuitus est eum, percussitque Philisthaeos : et fecit Dominus salutem magnam.
沙瑪卻站在那田間擊殺非利士人，救護了那田。耶和華使以色列人大獲全勝。
But he stood in the middle of the plot and defended it, and killed the Philistines; and Yahweh worked a great victory.
23:13
Necnon et ante descenderant tres qui erant principes inter triginta, et venerant tempore messis ad David in speluncam Odollam : castra autem Philisthinorum erant posita in Valle gigantum.
收割的時候，有三十個勇士中的三個人下到亞杜蘭洞見大衛。非利士的軍兵在利乏音谷安營。
Three of the thirty chief men went down, and came to David in the harvest time to the cave of Adullam; and the troop of the Philistines was encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
23:14
Et David erat in praesidio : porro statio Philisthinorum tunc erat in Bethlehem.
那時大衛在山寨，非利士人的防營在伯利恆。
David was then in the stronghold; and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem.
23:15
Desideravit ergo David, et ait : O si quis mihi daret potum aquae de cisterna quae est in Bethlehem juxta portam !
大衛渴想，說：「甚願有人將伯利恆城門旁、井裏的水打來給我喝。」
David said longingly, “Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”
23:16
Irruperunt ergo tres fortes castra Philisthinorum, et hauserunt aquam de cisterna Bethlehem, quae erat juxta portam, et attulerunt ad David : at ille noluit bibere, sed libavit eam Domino,
這三個勇士就闖過非利士人的營盤，從伯利恆城門旁的井裏打水，拿來奉給大衛。他卻不肯喝，將水奠在耶和華面前，
The three mighty men broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate and took it and brought it to David; but he would not drink of it, but poured it out to Yahweh.
23:17
dicens : Propitius sit mihi Dominus, ne faciam hoc : num sanguinem hominum istorum qui profecti sunt, et animarum periculum bibam ? Noluit ergo bibere. Haec fecerunt tres robustissimi.
說：「耶和華啊，這三個人冒死去打水；這水好像他們的血一般，我斷不敢喝。」如此，大衛不肯喝。這是三個勇士所做的事。
He said, “Be it far from me, Yahweh, that I should do this! Isn’t this the blood of the men who risked their lives to go?” Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.
23:18
Abisai quoque frater Joab filius Sarviae, princeps erat de tribus : ipse est qui levavit hastam suam contra trecentos, quos interfecit : nominatus in tribus,
洗魯雅的兒子、約押的兄弟亞比篩是這三個勇士的首領；他舉槍殺了三百人，就在三個勇士裏得了名。
Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief of the three. He lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name among the three.
23:19
et inter tres nobilior, eratque eorum princeps, sed usque ad tres primos non pervenerat.
他在這三個勇士裏是最尊貴的，所以作他們的首領，只是不及前三個勇士。
Wasn’t he most honorable of the three? Therefore he was made their captain. However he wasn’t included as one of the three.
23:20
Et Banaias filius Jojadae viri fortissimi, magnorum operum, de Cabseel. Ipse percussit duos leones Moab, et ipse descendit, et percussit leonem in media cisterna in diebus nivis.
有甲薛勇士耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅行過大能的事；他殺了摩押人亞利伊勒的兩個兒子，又在下雪的時候下坑裏去，殺了一個獅子，
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, killed the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit in a time of snow.
23:21
Ipse quoque interfecit virum aegyptium, virum dignum spectaculo, habentem in manu hastam : itaque cum descendisset ad eum in virga, vi extorsit hastam de manu Aegyptii, et interfecit eum hasta sua.
又殺了一個強壯的埃及人；埃及人手裏拿着槍，比拿雅只拿着棍子下去，從埃及人手裏奪過槍來，用那槍將他殺死。
He killed a huge Egyptian, and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear.
23:22
Haec fecit Banaias filius Jojadae.
這是耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅所行的事，就在三個勇士裏得了名。
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did these things, and had a name among the three mighty men.
23:23
Et ipse nominatus inter tres robustos, qui erant inter triginta nobiliores : verumtamen usque ad tres non pervenerat : fecitque eum sibi David auricularium, a secreto.
他比那三十個勇士都尊貴，只是不及前三個勇士。大衛立他作護衛長。
He was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn’t attain to the three. David set him over his guard.
23:24
Asaël frater Joab inter triginta, Elehanan filius patrui ejus de Bethlehem,
三十個勇士裏有約押的兄弟亞撒黑，伯利恆人朵多的兒子伊勒哈難，
Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty: Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
23:25
