4:1
Si reverteris, Israël, ait Dominus, ad me convertere : si abstuleris offendicula tua a facie mea, non commoveberis.
耶和華說:以色列啊, 你若回來歸向我, 若從我眼前除掉你可憎的偶像, 你就不被遷移。
“If you will return, Israel,” says Yahweh, “if you will return to me, and if you will put away your abominations out of my sight; then you will not be removed;
4:2
Et jurabis : Vivit Dominus in veritate, et in judicio, et in justitia : et benedicent eum gentes, ipsumque laudabunt.
你必憑誠實、公平、公義, 指着永生的耶和華起誓; 列國必因耶和華稱自己為有福, 也必因他誇耀。
and you will swear, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ in truth, in justice, and in righteousness. The nations will bless themselves in him, and they will glory in him.”
4:3
Haec enim dicit Dominus viro Juda et Jerusalem : Novate vobis novale, et nolite serere super spinas.
耶和華對猶大和耶路撒冷人如此說: 要開墾你們的荒地, 不要撒種在荊棘中。
For Yahweh says to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem, “Break up your fallow ground, and don’t sow among thorns.
4:4
Circumcidimini Domino, et auferte praeputia cordium vestrorum, viri Juda, et habitatores Jerusalem : ne forte egrediatur ut ignis indignatio mea, et succendatur, et non sit qui extinguat, propter malitiam cogitationum vestrarum.
猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪, 你們當自行割禮,歸耶和華, 將心裏的污穢除掉; 恐怕我的忿怒因你們的惡行發作, 如火着起, 甚至無人能以熄滅!
Circumcise yourselves to Yahweh, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
4:5
Annuntiate in Juda, et in Jerusalem auditum facite : loquimini, et canite tuba in terra, clamate fortiter, et dicite : Congregamini, et ingrediamur civitates munitas.
你們當傳揚在猶大, 宣告在耶路撒冷說: 你們當在國中吹角,高聲呼叫說: 你們當聚集! 我們好進入堅固城!
Declare in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, ‘Blow the trumpet in the land!’ Cry aloud and say, ‘Assemble yourselves! Let’s go into the fortified cities!’
4:6
Levate signum in Sion ; confortamini, nolite stare : quia malum ego adduco ab aquilone, et contritionem magnam.
應當向錫安豎立大旗。 要逃避,不要遲延, 因我必使災禍與大毀滅從北方來到。
Set up a standard toward Zion. Flee for safety! Don’t wait; for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.”
4:7
Ascendit leo de cubili suo, et praedo gentium se levavit : egressus est de loco suo ut ponat terram tuam in solitudinem : civitates tuae vastabuntur, remanentes absque habitatore.
有獅子從密林中上來, 是毀壞列國的。 牠已經動身出離本處, 要使你的地荒涼, 使你的城邑變為荒場無人居住。
A lion has gone up from his thicket, and a destroyer of nations. He is on his way. He has gone out from his place, to make your land desolate, that your cities be laid waste, without inhabitant.
4:8
Super hoc accingite vos ciliciis ; plangite, et ululate : quia non est aversa ira furoris Domini a nobis.
因此,你們當腰束麻布,大聲哀號, 因為耶和華的烈怒沒有向我們轉消。
For this, clothe yourself with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of Yahweh hasn’t turned back from us.
4:9
Et erit in die illa, dicit Dominus : peribit cor regis, et cor principum, et obstupescent sacerdotes, et prophetae consternabuntur.
耶和華說:「到那時,君王和首領的心都要消滅;祭司都要驚奇,先知都要詫異。」
“It will happen at that day,” says Yahweh, “that the heart of the king will perish, along with the heart of the princes. The priests will be astonished, and the prophets will wonder.”
4:10
Et dixi : Heu ! heu ! heu ! Domine Deus, ergone decepisti populum istum et Jerusalem, dicens : Pax erit vobis : et ecce pervenit gladius usque ad animam ?
我說:「哀哉!主耶和華啊,你真是大大地欺哄這百姓和耶路撒冷,說:『你們必得平安。』其實刀劍害及性命了。」
Then I said, “Ah, Lord Yahweh! Surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, ‘You will have peace;’ whereas the sword reaches to the heart.”
4:11
In tempore illo dicetur populo huic et Jerusalem : Ventus urens in viis quae sunt in deserto viae filiae populi mei, non ad ventilandum et ad purgandum.
那時,必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說:「有一陣熱風從曠野淨光的高處向我的眾民 颳來,不是為簸揚,也不是為揚淨。
At that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem, “A hot wind blows from the bare heights in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to winnow, nor to cleanse.
4:12
Spiritus plenus ex his veniet mihi, et nunc ego loquar judicia mea cum eis.
必有一陣更大的風從這些地方為我颳來;現在我又必發出判語,攻擊他們。」
A full wind from these will come for me. Now I will also utter judgments against them.”
4:13
Ecce quasi nubes ascendet, et quasi tempestas currus ejus : velociores aquilis equi illius. Vae nobis, quoniam vastati sumus.
看哪,仇敵必如雲上來; 他的戰車如旋風, 他的馬匹比鷹更快。 我們有禍了! 我們敗落了!
Behold, he will come up as clouds, and his chariots will be as the whirlwind. His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us! For we are ruined.
4:14
Lava a malitia cor tuum, Jerusalem, ut salva fias : usquequo morabuntur in te cogitationes noxiae ?
耶路撒冷啊,你當洗去心中的惡, 使你可以得救。 惡念存在你心裏要到幾時呢?
Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?
4:15
Vox enim annuntiantis a Dan, et notum facientis idolum de monte Ephraim.
有聲音從但傳揚, 從以法蓮山報禍患。
For a voice declares from Dan, and publishes evil from the hills of Ephraim:
4:16
Dicite gentibus : Ecce auditum est in Jerusalem custodes venire de terra longinqua, et dare super civitates Juda vocem suam :
你們當傳給列國, 報告攻擊耶路撒冷的事說: 有探望的人從遠方來到, 向猶大的城邑大聲吶喊。
“Tell the nations, behold, publish against Jerusalem, ‘Watchers come from a far country, and raise their voice against the cities of Judah.
4:17
quasi custodes agrorum facti sunt super eam in gyro, quia me ad iracundiam provocavit, dicit Dominus.
他們周圍攻擊耶路撒冷, 好像看守田園的, 因為她背叛了我。 這是耶和華說的。
As keepers of a field, they are against her all around, because she has been rebellious against me,’” says Yahweh.
4:18
Viae tuae et cogitationes tuae fecerunt haec tibi : ista malitia tua, quia amara, quia tetigit cor tuum.
你的行動,你的作為,招惹這事; 這是你罪惡的結果, 實在是苦, 是害及你心了!
“Your way and your doings have brought these things to you. This is your wickedness, for it is bitter, for it reaches to your heart.”
4:19
Ventrem meum, ventrem meum doleo ; sensus cordis mei turbati sunt in me. Non tacebo, quoniam vocem buccinae audivit anima mea, clamorem praelii.
我的肺腑啊,我的肺腑啊,我心疼痛! 我心在我裏面煩躁不安。 我不能靜默不言, 因為我已經聽見角聲和打仗的喊聲。
My anguish, my anguish! I am pained at my very heart! My heart trembles within me. I can’t hold my peace, because you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
4:20
Contritio super contritionem vocata est, et vastata est omnis terra : repente vastata sunt tabernacula mea ; subito pelles meae.
毀壞的信息連絡不絕, 因為全地荒廢。 我的帳棚忽然毀壞; 我的幔子頃刻破裂。
Destruction on destruction is decreed, for the whole land is laid waste. Suddenly my tents are destroyed, and my curtains gone in a moment.
4:21
Usquequo videbo fugientem ; audiam vocem buccinae ?
我看見大旗,聽見角聲, 要到幾時呢?
How long will I see the standard and hear the sound of the trumpet?
4:22
Quia stultus populus meus me non cognovit : filii insipientes sunt et vecordes : sapientes sunt ut faciant mala, bene autem facere nescierunt.
耶和華說:我的百姓愚頑,不認識我; 他們是愚昧無知的兒女, 有智慧行惡,沒有知識行善。
“For my people are foolish. They don’t know me. They are foolish children, and they have no understanding. They are skillful in doing evil, but they don’t know how to do good.”
4:23
Aspexi terram, et ecce vacua erat et nihili ; et caelos, et non erat lux in eis.
先知說:我觀看地, 不料,地是空虛混沌; 我觀看天,天也無光。
I saw the earth and, behold, it was waste and void, and the heavens, and they had no light.
4:24
Vidi montes, et ecce movebantur : et omnes colles conturbati sunt.
我觀看大山,不料,盡都震動, 小山也都搖來搖去。
I saw the mountains, and behold, they trembled, and all the hills moved back and forth.
4:25
Intuitus sum, et non erat homo : et omne volatile caeli recessit.
我觀看,不料,無人; 空中的飛鳥也都躲避。
I saw, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the sky had fled.
4:26
Aspexi, et ecce Carmelus desertus, et omnes urbes ejus destructae sunt a facie Domini, et a facie irae furoris ejus.
我觀看,不料,肥田變為荒地; 一切城邑在耶和華面前, 因他的烈怒都被拆毀。
I saw, and behold, the fruitful field was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of Yahweh, before his fierce anger.
4:27
Haec enim dicit Dominus : Deserta erit omnis terra, sed tamen consummationem non faciam.
耶和華如此說:全地必然荒涼, 我卻不毀滅淨盡。
For Yahweh says, “The whole land will be a desolation; yet I will not make a full end.
4:28
Lugebit terra, et moerebunt caeli desuper, eo quod locutus sum. Cogitavi, et non poenituit me, nec aversus sum ab eo.
因此,地要悲哀, 在上的天也必黑暗; 因為我言已出,我意已定, 必不後悔,也不轉意不做。
For this the earth will mourn, and the heavens above be black, because I have spoken it. I have planned it, and I have not repented, neither will I turn back from it.”
4:29
A voce equitis et mittentis sagittam fugit omnis civitas : ingressi sunt ardua, et ascenderunt rupes : universae urbes derelictae sunt, et non habitat in eis homo.
各城的人因馬兵和弓箭手的響聲就都逃跑, 進入密林,爬上磐石; 各城被撇下, 無人住在其中。
Every city flees for the noise of the horsemen and archers. They go into the thickets and climb up on the rocks. Every city is forsaken, and not a man dwells therein.
4:30
Tu autem vastata, quid facies ? cum vestieris te coccino, cum ornata fueris monili aureo, et pinxeris stibio oculos tuos, frustra componeris : contempserunt te amatores tui ; animam tuam quaerent.
你淒涼的時候要怎樣行呢? 你雖穿上朱紅衣服, 佩戴黃金裝飾, 用顏料修飾眼目, 這樣標緻是枉然的! 戀愛你的藐視你, 並且尋索你的性命。
You, when you are made desolate, what will you do? Though you clothe yourself with scarlet, though you deck yourself with ornaments of gold, though you enlarge your eyes with makeup, you make yourself beautiful in vain. Your lovers despise you. They seek your life.
4:31
Vocem enim quasi parturientis audivi, angustias ut puerperae : vox filiae Sion intermorientis, expandentisque manus suas : Vae mihi, quia defecit anima mea propter interfectos !
我聽見有聲音,彷彿婦人產難的聲音, 好像生頭胎疼痛的聲音, 是錫安女子 的聲音; 她喘着氣、挓挲手, 說:我有禍了! 在殺人的跟前,我的心發昏了。
For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, the anguish as of her who gives birth to her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, who gasps for breath, who spreads her hands, saying, “Woe is me now! For my soul faints before the murderers.”
