47:1
Quod factum est verbum Domini ad Jeremiam prophetam contra Palaestinos, antequam percuteret Pharao Gazam.
法老攻擊迦薩之先，有耶和華論非利士人的話臨到先知耶利米。
Yahweh’s word that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before Pharaoh struck Gaza.
47:2
Haec dicit Dominus : Ecce aquae ascendunt ab aquilone, et erunt quasi torrens inundans, et operient terram et plenitudinem ejus, urbem et habitatores ejus. Clamabunt homines, et ululabunt omnes habitatores terrae,
耶和華如此說： 有水從北方發起，成為漲溢的河， 要漲過遍地和其中所有的， 並城和其中所住的。 人必呼喊； 境內的居民都必哀號。
Yahweh says: “Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and will become an overflowing stream, and will overflow the land and all that is therein, the city and those who dwell therein. The men will cry, and all the inhabitants of the land will wail.
47:3
a strepitu pompae armorum, et bellatorum ejus, a commotione quadrigarum ejus, et multitudine rotarum illius. Non respexerunt patres filios manibus dissolutis,
聽見敵人壯馬蹄跳的響聲 和戰車隆隆、車輪轟轟； 為父的手就發軟， 不回頭看顧兒女。
At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong ones, at the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers don’t look back for their children because their hands are so feeble,
47:4
pro adventu diei in quo vastabuntur omnes Philisthiim, et dissipabitur Tyrus et Sidon cum omnibus reliquis auxiliis suis : depopulatus est enim Dominus Palaestinos, reliquias insulae Cappadociae.
因為日子將到， 要毀滅一切非利士人， 剪除幫助泰爾、西頓所剩下的人。 原來耶和華必毀滅非利士人， 就是迦斐託海島餘剩的人。
because of the day that comes to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper who remains; for Yahweh will destroy the Philistines, the remnant of the isle of Caphtor.
47:5
Venit calvitium super Gazam ; conticuit Ascalon, et reliquiae vallis earum : usquequo concideris ?
迦薩成了光禿； 平原中所剩的亞實基倫歸於無有。 你用刀劃身，要到幾時呢？
Baldness has come on Gaza; Ashkelon is brought to nothing. You remnant of their valley, how long will you cut yourself?
47:6
O mucro Domini, usquequo non quiesces ? ingredere in vaginam tuam, refrigerare, et sile.
耶和華的刀劍哪，你到幾時才止息呢？ 你要入鞘，安靖不動。
“‘You sword of Yahweh, how long will it be before you are quiet? Put yourself back into your scabbard; rest, and be still.’
47:7
Quomodo quiescet, cum Dominus praeceperit ei adversus Ascalonem, et adversus maritimas ejus regiones, ibique condixerit illi ?
耶和華既吩咐你攻擊亞實基倫和海邊之地， 他已經派定你，焉能止息呢？
“How can you be quiet, since Yahweh has given you a command? Against Ashkelon, and against the seashore, there he has appointed it.”
