1:1
Verbum Domini quod factum est ad Sophoniam, filium Chusi, filii Godoliae, filii Amariae, filii Ezeciae, in diebus Josiae, filii Amon, regis Judae.
當猶大王亞們的兒子約西亞在位的時候，耶和華的話臨到希西家的玄孫，亞瑪利雅的曾孫，基大利的孫子，古示的兒子西番雅。
Yahweh’s word which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.
1:2
Congregans congregabo omnia a facie terrae, dicit Dominus :
耶和華說： 我必從地上除滅萬類。
I will utterly sweep away everything from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.
1:3
congregans hominem et pecus, congregans volatilia caeli et pisces maris : et ruinae impiorum erunt, et disperdam homines a facie terrae, dicit Dominus.
我必除滅人和牲畜， 與空中的鳥、海裏的魚， 以及絆腳石和惡人； 我必將人從地上剪除。 這是耶和華說的。
I will sweep away man and animal. I will sweep away the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and the heaps of rubble with the wicked. I will cut off man from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.
1:4
Et extendam manum meam super Judam et super omnes habitantes Jerusalem : et disperdam de loco hoc reliquias Baal, et nomina aedituorum cum sacerdotibus ;
我必伸手攻擊猶大 和耶路撒冷的一切居民， 也必從這地方剪除所剩下的巴力， 並基瑪林的名和祭司，
I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place—the name of the idolatrous and pagan priests,
1:5
et eos qui adorant super tecta militiam caeli, et adorant et jurant in Domino, et jurant in Melchom ;
與那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的， 並那些敬拜耶和華指着他起誓， 又指着瑪勒堪起誓的，
those who worship the army of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by Yahweh and also swear by Malcam,
1:6
et qui avertuntur de post tergum Domini, et qui non quaesierunt Dominum, nec investigaverunt eum.
與那些轉去不跟從耶和華的， 和不尋求耶和華也不訪問他的。
those who have turned back from following Yahweh, and those who haven’t sought Yahweh nor inquired after him.
1:7
Silete a facie Domini Dei, quia juxta est dies Domini : quia praeparavit Dominus hostiam ; sanctificavit vocatos suos.
你要在主耶和華面前靜默無聲， 因為耶和華的日子快到。 耶和華已經預備祭物， 將他的客分別為聖。
Be silent at the presence of the Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh is at hand. For Yahweh has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.
1:8
Et erit : in die hostiae Domini, visitabo super principes, et super filios regis, et super omnes qui induti sunt veste peregrina ;
到了我－耶和華獻祭的日子， 必懲罰首領和王子， 並一切穿外邦衣服的。
It will happen in the day of Yahweh’s sacrifice that I will punish the princes, the king’s sons, and all those who are clothed with foreign clothing.
1:9
et visitabo super omnem qui arroganter ingreditur super limen in die illa, qui complent domum Domini Dei sui iniquitate et dolo.
到那日，我必懲罰一切跳過門檻、 將強暴和詭詐得來之物充滿主人房屋的。
In that day, I will punish all those who leap over the threshold, who fill their master’s house with violence and deceit.
1:10
Et erit in die illa, dicit Dominus, vox clamoris a porta piscium, et ululatus a Secunda, et contritio magna a collibus.
耶和華說：當那日， 從魚門必發出悲哀的聲音， 從二城發出哀號的聲音， 從山間發出大破裂的響聲。
In that day, says Yahweh, there will be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, a wailing from the second quarter, and a great crashing from the hills.
1:11
Ululate, habitatores Pilae : conticuit omnis populus Chanaan, disperierunt omnes involuti argento.
瑪革提施的居民哪，你們要哀號， 因為迦南的商民都滅亡了！ 凡搬運銀子的都被剪除。
Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the people of Canaan are undone! All those who were loaded with silver are cut off.
1:12
Et erit in tempore illo : scrutabor Jerusalem in lucernis, et visitabo super viros defixos in faecibus suis, qui dicunt in cordibus suis : Non faciet bene Dominus, et non faciet male.
那時，我必用燈巡查耶路撒冷； 我必懲罰那些如酒在渣滓上澄清的； 他們心裏說： 耶和華必不降福，也不降禍。
It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “Yahweh will not do good, neither will he do evil.”
1:13
Et erit fortitudo eorum in direptionem, et domus eorum in desertum : et aedificabunt domos, et non habitabunt ; et plantabunt vineas, et non bibent vinum earum.
他們的財寶必成為掠物； 他們的房屋必變為荒場。 他們必建造房屋，卻不得住在其內； 栽種葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。
Their wealth will become a plunder, and their houses a desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won’t inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won’t drink their wine.
1:14
Juxta est dies Domini magnus : juxta est, et velox nimis. Vox diei Domini amara : tribulabitur ibi fortis.
耶和華的大日臨近， 臨近而且甚快， 乃是耶和華日子的風聲； 勇士必痛痛地哭號。
The great day of Yahweh is near. It is near and hurries greatly, the voice of the day of Yahweh. The mighty man cries there bitterly.
1:15
Dies irae dies illa, dies tribulationis et angustiae, dies calamitatis et miseriae, dies tenebrarum et caliginis, dies nebulae et turbinis,
那日是忿怒的日子， 是急難困苦的日子， 是荒廢淒涼的日子， 是黑暗幽冥、密雲烏黑的日子，
That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,
1:16
dies tubae et clangoris super civitates munitas, et super angulos excelsos.
是吹角吶喊的日子， 要攻擊堅固城和高大的城樓。
a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high battlements.
1:17
Et tribulabo homines, et ambulabunt ut caeci, quia Domino peccaverunt ; et effundetur sanguis eorum sicut humus, et corpora eorum sicut stercora.
我必使災禍臨到人身上， 使他們行走如同瞎眼的， 因為得罪了我。 他們的血必倒出如灰塵； 他們的肉必拋棄如糞土。
I will bring such distress on men that they will walk like blind men because they have sinned against Yahweh. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung.
1:18
Sed et argentum eorum et aurum eorum non poterit liberare eos in die irae Domini : in igne zeli ejus devorabitur omnis terra, quia consummationem cum festinatione faciet cunctis habitantibus terram.
當耶和華發怒的日子， 他們的金銀不能救他們； 他的忿怒如火必燒滅全地， 毀滅這地的一切居民，而且大大毀滅。
Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.
