2:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל רְאוּבֵ֤ן שִׁמְעוֹן֙ לֵוִ֣י וִיהוּדָ֔ה יִשָּׂשכָ֖ר וּזְבֻלֽוּן ׃
ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ Ρουβην Συμεων Λευι Ιουδα Ισσαχαρ Ζαβουλων
Filii autem Israël : Ruben , Simeon , Levi , Juda , Issachar , et Zabulon ,
ወዝንቱ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ሮቤል ፡ ስምዖን ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ይሳኮር ፡ ዛብሎን ።
These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
2:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ דָּ֚ן יוֹסֵ֣ף וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן נַפְתָּלִ֖י גָּ֥ד וְאָשֵֽׁר ׃ {פ}
Δαν Ιωσηφ Βενιαμιν Νεφθαλι Γαδ Ασηρ
Dan , Joseph , Benjamin , Nephthali , Gad , et Aser .
ዳን ፡ ዮሴፍ ፡ ብንያም ፡ ንፍታሌም ፡ ጋድ ፡ ወአሴር ።

2:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֗ה עֵ֤ר וְאוֹנָן֙ וְשֵׁלָ֔ה שְׁלוֹשָׁה֙ נ֣וֹלַד ל֔וֹ מִבַּת ־שׁ֖וּעַ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑ית וַיְהִ֞י עֵ֣ר ׀ בְּכ֣וֹר יְהוּדָ֗ה רַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וַיְמִיתֵֽהוּ ׃ {ס}
υἱοὶ Ιουδα Ηρ Αυναν Σηλων τρεῖς ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς θυγατρὸς Σαυας τῆς Χαναανίτιδος καὶ ἦν Ηρ ὁ πρωτότοκος Ιουδα πονηρὸς ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτόν
Filii Juda : Her , Onan , et Sela : hi tres nati sunt ei de filia Sue Chananitide . Fuit autem Her primogenitus Juda malus coram Domino , et occidit eum .
ወደቂቁ ፡ ለይሁዳ ፡ ኤር ፡ አውናን ፡ ሴሎም ፡ ሠልስቶ ፡ ተወልዱ ፡ እምወለተ ፡ ሴዋ ፡ ከነናዊት ፡ ወኮነ ፡ ኤር ፡ በኵር ፡ ለይሁዳ ፡ እኩየ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ፡ ወቀተሎ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ።
The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah, which three were born to him of Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in Yahweh’s sight; and he killed him.
2:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְתָמָר֙ כַּלָּת֔וֹ יָ֥לְדָה לּ֖וֹ אֶת ־פֶּ֣רֶץ וְאֶת ־זָ֑רַח כׇּל ־בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה חֲמִשָּֽׁה ׃ {ס}
καὶ Θαμαρ ἡ νύμφη αὐτοῦ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φαρες καὶ τὸν Ζαρα πάντες υἱοὶ Ιουδα πέντε
Thamar autem nurus ejus peperit ei Phares et Zara : omnes ergo filii Juda , quinque .
ወትእማር ፡ መርዓቱ ፡ ወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ፋሬስሃ ፡ ወዛራሃ ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለይሁዳ ፡ ኃምስቱ ።
Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
2:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵי ־פֶ֖רֶץ חֶצְר֥וֹן וְחָמֽוּל ׃ {ס}
υἱοὶ Φαρες Αρσων καὶ Ιεμουηλ
Filii autem Phares : Hesron et Hamul .
ወደቂቁ ፡ ለፋሬስ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ ወያሙሄል ።
The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
2:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֣י זֶ֗רַח זִ֠מְרִ֠י וְאֵיתָ֧ן וְהֵימָ֛ן וְכַלְכֹּ֥ל וָדָ֖רַע כֻּלָּ֥ם חֲמִשָּֽׁה ׃ {ס}
καὶ υἱοὶ Ζαρα Ζαμβρι καὶ Αιθαν καὶ Αιμαν καὶ Χαλχαλ καὶ Δαρα πάντες πέντε
Filii quoque Zarae : Zamri , et Ethan , et Eman , Chalchal quoque , et Dara , simul quinque .
ወደቂቁ ፡ ለዛሬ ፡ ዘምሪ ፡ ወኤታን ፡ ወኤማን ፡ ወክልክል ፡ ወዳራወኵሎሙ ፡ ኃምስቱ ።
The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara—five of them in all.
2:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י כַּרְמִ֑י עָכָר֙ עוֹכֵ֣ר יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָעַ֖ל בַּחֵֽרֶם ׃ {ס}
καὶ υἱοὶ Χαρμι Αχαρ ὁ ἐμποδοστάτης Ισραηλ ὃς ἠθέτησεν εἰς τὸ ἀνάθεμα
Filii Charmi : Achar , qui turbavit Israël , et peccavit in furto anathematis .
ወወልደ ፡ ዘምሪ ፡ ከርሚ ፡ ወከርሚ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአካን ፡ ዘአጽርዐ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወዐለወ ፡ በወግዝ ።
The son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.
2:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י אֵיתָ֖ן עֲזַרְיָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ υἱοὶ Αιθαν Αζαρια
Filii Ethan : Azarias .
ወልደ ፡ ኤታን ፡ አዛርያ ።
The son of Ethan: Azariah.
2:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י חֶצְר֖וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר נֽוֹלַד ־ל֑וֹ אֶת ־יְרַחְמְאֵ֥ל וְאֶת ־רָ֖ם וְאֶת ־כְּלוּבָֽי ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Εσερων οἳ ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ ὁ Ιραμεηλ καὶ ὁ Ραμ καὶ ὁ Χαλεβ καὶ Αραμ
Filii autem Hesron qui nati sunt ei : Jerameel , et Ram , et Calubi .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ እለ ፡ ተወልዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኢያሬሄም ፡ ወአራም ፡ ወካሌብ ።
The sons also of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.
2:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְרָ֖ם הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־עַמִּֽינָדָ֑ב וְעַמִּֽינָדָב֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־נַחְשׁ֔וֹן נְשִׂ֖יא בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה ׃
καὶ Αραμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ Αμιναδαβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναασσων ἄρχοντα τοῦ οἴκου Ιουδα
Porro Ram genuit Aminadab . Aminadab autem genuit Nahasson , principem filiorum Juda .
ወአራም ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአሚናዳብ ፡ ወአሚናዳብ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለነአሶን ፡ መልአኮሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ይሁዳ ።
Ram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
2:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנַחְשׁוֹן֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־שַׂלְמָ֔א וְשַׂלְמָ֖א הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־בֹּֽעַז ׃
καὶ Ναασσων ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλμων καὶ Σαλμων ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βοος
Nahasson quoque genuit Salma , de quo ortus est Booz .
ወነአሶን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሰልሞን ፡ ወሰልሞን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለቡኤዝ ።
and Nahshon became the father of Salma, and Salma became the father of Boaz,
2:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבֹ֙עַז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־עוֹבֵ֔ד וְעוֹבֵ֖ד הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־יִשָֽׁי ׃
καὶ Βοος ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ωβηδ καὶ Ωβηδ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιεσσαι
Booz vero genuit Obed , qui et ipse genuit Isai .
ወቡኤዝ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢዮቤድ ፡ ወኢዮቤድ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለዕሤይ ።
and Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;
2:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִישַׁ֛י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־בְּכֹר֖וֹ אֶת ־אֱלִיאָ֑ב וַאֲבִֽינָדָב֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְשִׁמְעָ֖א הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי ׃
καὶ Ιεσσαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ Ελιαβ Αμιναδαβ ὁ δεύτερος Σαμαα ὁ τρίτος
Isai autem genuit primogenitum Eliab , secundum Abinadab , tertium Simmaa ,
ወዕሤይ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለበኵሩ ፡ ኤልያብ ፡ ወካልእ ፡ አሚናዳብ ፡ ወሣልስ ፡ ሳማይ ፡ (ሻማ )።
and Jesse became the father of his firstborn Eliab, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
2:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ נְתַנְאֵל֙ הָרְבִיעִ֔י רַדַּ֖י הַחֲמִישִֽׁי ׃
Ναθαναηλ ὁ τέταρτος Ραδδαι ὁ πέμπτος
quartum Nathanaël , quintum Raddai ,
ወራብዕ ፡ ናትናኤል ፡ ወሐምስ ፡ ራዳይ ።
Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
2:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֹ֚צֶם הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י דָּוִ֖יד הַשְּׁבִעִֽי ׃
Ασομ ὁ ἕκτος Δαυιδ ὁ ἕβδομος
sextum Asom , septimum David .
ሣድስ ፡ አሶን ፡ ሳብዕ ፡ ዳዊት ።
Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh;
2:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַחְיֹתֵיהֶ֖ם צְרוּיָ֣ה וַאֲבִיגָ֑יִל וּבְנֵ֣י צְרוּיָ֗ה אַבְשַׁ֛י וְיוֹאָ֥ב וַעֲשָׂהאֵ֖ל שְׁלֹשָֽׁה ׃
καὶ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν Σαρουια καὶ Αβιγαια καὶ υἱοὶ Σαρουια Αβεσσα καὶ Ιωαβ καὶ Ασαηλ τρεῖς
Quorum sorores fuerunt Sarvia et Abigail . Filii Sarviae : Abisai , Joab , et Asaël , tres .
ወአኃቲሆሙ ፡ ሶርህያ ፡ ወአቤግያ ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ሶርህያ ፡ አቢሳ ፡ ወኢዮአብ ፡ ወአሳሄል ፡ ሠለሰቱ ።
and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three.
2:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַאֲבִיגַ֕יִל יָלְדָ֖ה אֶת ־עֲמָשָׂ֑א וַאֲבִ֣י עֲמָשָׂ֔א יֶ֖תֶר הַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִֽי ׃
καὶ Αβιγαια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμεσσα καὶ πατὴρ Αμεσσα Ιοθορ ὁ Ισμαηλίτης
Abigail autem genuit Amasa , cujus pater fuit Jether Ismahelites .
ወአቤግያ ፡ ወለደቶ ፡ ለአሜሳይ ፡ ወአቡሁ ፡ ለአሜሳይ ፡ ይትኤር ፡ ይስማኤላዊ ።
Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
2:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכָלֵ֣ב בֶּן ־חֶצְר֗וֹן הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת ־עֲזוּבָ֥ה אִשָּׁ֖ה וְאֶת ־יְרִיע֑וֹת וְאֵ֣לֶּה בָנֶ֔יהָ יֵ֥שֶׁר וְשׁוֹבָ֖ב וְאַרְדּֽוֹן ׃
καὶ Χαλεβ υἱὸς Εσερων ἐγέννησεν τὴν Γαζουβα γυναῖκα καὶ τὴν Ιεριωθ καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ αὐτῆς Ιωασαρ καὶ Σωβαβ καὶ Ορνα
Caleb vero filius Hesron accepit uxorem nomine Azuba , de qua genuit Jerioth : fueruntque filii ejus Jaser , et Sobab , et Ardon .
ወካሌብ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ ነሥኣ ፡ ለአዙባ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወለአሬሃት ፡ ወእሉ ፡ ደቂቃ ፡ ኢዩአስር ፡ ወሶባብ ፡ ወአርናን ።
Caleb the son of Hezron became the father of children by Azubah his wife, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
2:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתָּ֖מׇת עֲזוּבָ֑ה וַיִּֽקַּֽח ־ל֤וֹ כָלֵב֙ אֶת ־אֶפְרָ֔ת וַתֵּ֥לֶד ל֖וֹ אֶת ־חֽוּר ׃
καὶ ἀπέθανεν Γαζουβα καὶ ἔλαβεν ἑαυτῷ Χαλεβ τὴν Εφραθ καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ωρ
Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba , accepit uxorem Caleb Ephratha , quae peperit ei Hur .
ወሞተት ፡ አዙባ ፡ ወነሥኣ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ በኤፍራታ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኦርሃ ።
Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
2:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְחוּר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־אוּרִ֔י וְאוּרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־בְּצַלְאֵֽל ׃ {ס}
καὶ Ωρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ουρι καὶ Ουρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βεσελεηλ
Porro Hur genuit Uri , et Uri genuit Bezeleel .
ወኦር ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኡሪ ፡ ወኡሪ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለባሴልሄን ።
Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.
2:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַחַ֗ר בָּ֤א חֶצְרוֹן֙ אֶל ־בַּת ־מָכִיר֙ אֲבִ֣י גִלְעָ֔ד וְה֣וּא לְקָחָ֔הּ וְה֖וּא בֶּן ־שִׁשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַתֵּ֥לֶד ל֖וֹ אֶת ־שְׂגֽוּב ׃
καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσῆλθεν Εσερων πρὸς τὴν θυγατέρα Μαχιρ πατρὸς Γαλααδ καὶ οὗτος ἔλαβεν αὐτήν καὶ αὐτὸς ἑξήκοντα ἦν ἐτῶν καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Σεγουβ
Post haec ingressus est Hesron ad filiam Machir patris Galaad , et accepit eam cum esset annorum sexaginta : quae peperit ei Segub .
ወእምድኀረዝ ፡ ቦአ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ ኀበ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ማኪር ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለገለዓድ ፡ ወከመዝ ፡ ነሥኣ ፡ ወዓመታቲሁ ፡ ስሳ ፡ ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ሴጉብሃ ።
Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took as wife when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.
2:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּשְׂג֖וּב הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־יָאִ֑יר וַֽיְהִי ־ל֗וֹ עֶשְׂרִ֤ים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ֙ עָרִ֔ים בְּאֶ֖רֶץ הַגִּלְעָֽד ׃ {ס}
καὶ Σεγουβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαϊρ καὶ ἦσαν αὐτῷ εἴκοσι τρεῖς πόλεις ἐν τῇ Γαλααδ
Sed et Segub genuit Jair , et possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad .
ወሴጉብ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢያኤር ፡ ወኮና ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ዕሥራ ፡ ወሰላስ ፡ አህጉራት ፡ በምድረ ፡ ገለዓድ ።
Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
2:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקַּ֣ח גְּשֽׁוּר ־וַ֠אֲרָ֠ם אֶת ־חַוֺּ֨ת יָאִ֧יר מֵאִתָּ֛ם אֶת ־קְנָ֥ת וְאֶת ־בְּנֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁשִּׁ֣ים עִ֑יר כׇּל ־אֵ֕לֶּה בְּנֵ֖י מָכִ֥יר אֲבִֽי ־גִלְעָֽד ׃
καὶ ἔλαβεν Γεδσουρ καὶ Αραμ τὰς κώμας Ιαϊρ ἐξ αὐτῶν τὴν Καναθ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς ἑξήκοντα πόλεις πᾶσαι αὗται υἱῶν Μαχιρ πατρὸς Γαλααδ
Cepitque Gessur et Aram oppida Jair , et Canath , et viculos ejus sexaginta civitatum : omnes isti filii Machir patris Galaad .
ወነሥአ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ ጌሶርሃ ፡ ወአራምሃ ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ ፡ ለኢያኢር ፡ እምኔሆሙ ፡ ለቄናት ፡ ወለአዋልዲሃ ፡ ስሳ ፡ አህጉር ፡ እሉ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለማኪር ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለገለዓድ ።
Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
2:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַחַ֥ר מוֹת ־חֶצְר֖וֹן בְּכָלֵ֣ב אֶפְרָ֑תָה וְאֵ֤שֶׁת חֶצְרוֹן֙ אֲבִיָּ֔ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֔וֹ אֶת ־אַשְׁח֖וּר אֲבִ֥י תְקֽוֹעַ ׃ {ס}
καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν Εσερων ἦλθεν Χαλεβ εἰς Εφραθα καὶ ἡ γυνὴ Εσερων Αβια καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ασχωδ πατέρα Θεκωε
Cum autem mortuus esset Hesron , ingressus est Caleb ad Ephratha . Habuit quoque Hesron uxorem Abia , quae peperit ei Assur patrem Thecuae .
ወእምድኀረ ፡ ሞተ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ መጽአ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኤፍራታ ፡ ወብእሲተ ፡ ኤስሮም ፡ አቢያ ፡ ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ አዳድሃ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለቴቁኤን ።
After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron’s wife, bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
2:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּהְי֧וּ בְנֵי ־יְרַחְמְאֵ֛ל בְּכ֥וֹר חֶצְר֖וֹן הַבְּכ֣וֹר ׀רָ֑ם וּבוּנָ֥ה וָאֹ֛רֶן וָאֹ֖צֶם אֲחִיָּֽה ׃
καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ιερεμεηλ πρωτοτόκου Εσερων ὁ πρωτότοκος Ραμ καὶ Βαανα καὶ Αραν καὶ Ασομ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ
Nati sunt autem filii Jerameel primogeniti Hesron , Ram primogenitus ejus , et Buna , et Aram , et Asom , et Achia .
ወኮኑ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለኢያሬምሄል ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ለኤስሮም ፡ አራን ፡ በኵሩ ፡ በአናን ፡ ወአራም ፡ ወአሳም ፡ ወአሕያህ ።
The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.
2:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתְּהִ֨י אִשָּׁ֥ה אַחֶ֛רֶת לִֽירַחְמְאֵ֖ל וּשְׁמָ֣הּ עֲטָרָ֑ה הִ֖יא אֵ֥ם אוֹנָֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἦν γυνὴ ἑτέρα τῷ Ιερεμεηλ καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῇ Αταρα αὕτη ἐστὶν μήτηρ Οζομ
Duxit quoque uxorem alteram Jerameel , nomine Atara , quae fuit mater Onam .
ወኮነት ፡ ካልእት ፡ ብእሲቱ ፡ ለኢያሬምሄል ፡ ስማ ፡ አጥራ ፡ ወይእቲ ፡ እሙ ፡ ለአናም ።
Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah. She was the mother of Onam.
2:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּהְי֥וּ בְנֵי ־רָ֖ם בְּכ֣וֹר יְרַחְמְאֵ֑ל מַ֥עַץ וְיָמִ֖ין וָעֵֽקֶר ׃
καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ραμ πρωτοτόκου Ιερεμεηλ Μαας καὶ Ιαμιν καὶ Ακορ
Sed et filii Ram primogeniti Jerameel fuerunt Moos , Jamin , et Achar .
ወኮኑ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለአራም ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ለኢያሬምሄል ፡ ማኦስ ፡ ወኢያቢን ፡ ወኤቄር ።
The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.
2:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּהְי֥וּ בְנֵי ־אוֹנָ֖ם שַׁמַּ֣י וְיָדָ֑ע וּבְנֵ֣י שַׁמַּ֔י נָדָ֖ב וַאֲבִישֽׁוּר ׃
καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Οζομ Σαμαι καὶ Ιαδαε καὶ υἱοὶ Σαμαι Ναδαβ καὶ Αβισουρ
Onam autem habuit filios Semei et Jada . Filii autem Semei : Nadab et Abisur .
ወኮኑ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ አናን ፡ ስማድን ፡ ወያዳን ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ስማድን ፡ ናዳብ ፡ ወአቤሱር ።
The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
2:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשֵׁ֛ם אֵ֥שֶׁת אֲבִישׁ֖וּר אֲבִיהָ֑יִל וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֔וֹ אֶת ־אַחְבָּ֖ן וְאֶת ־מוֹלִֽיד ׃
καὶ ὄνομα τῆς γυναικὸς Αβισουρ Αβιχαιλ καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Αχαβαρ καὶ τὸν Μωλιδ
Nomen vero uxoris Abisur , Abihail , quae peperit ei Ahobban et Molid .
ወስመ ፡ ብእሲቱ ፡ ለአቤሱር ፡ አቤግያ ፡ ወወለደቶሙ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለአዛቡር ፡ ወለሙሊድ ።
The name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
2:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י נָדָ֖ב סֶ֣לֶד וְאַפָּ֑יִם וַיָּ֥מׇת סֶ֖לֶד לֹ֥א בָנִֽים ׃
υἱοὶ Ναδαβ Σαλαδ καὶ Αφφαιμ καὶ ἀπέθανεν Σαλαδ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα
Filii autem Nadab fuerunt Saled et Apphaim . Mortuus est autem Saled absque liberis .
ወደቂወ ፡ ናዳብ ፡ ሴሌጥ ፡ ወአፓይን ፡ ወሞተ ፡ ሴሌጥ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ውሉድ ።
The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
2:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י אַפַּ֖יִם יִשְׁעִ֑י וּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׁעִי֙ שֵׁשָׁ֔ן וּבְנֵ֥י שֵׁשָׁ֖ן אַחְלָֽי ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Αφφαιμ Ισεμιηλ καὶ υἱοὶ Ισεμιηλ Σωσαν καὶ υἱοὶ Σωσαν Αχλαι
Filius vero Apphaim , Jesi : qui Jesi genuit Sesan . Porro Sesan genuit Oholai .
ወወልደ ፡ አፓይን ፡ ይሲ ፡ ወወልደ ፡ ይሲ ፡ ሶሳን ፡ ወወልደ ፡ ሶሳን ፡ ኤሊ ፡ ወወልደ ፡ ኤሊ ፡ ያዳይ ።
The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.
2:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֤י יָדָע֙ אֲחִ֣י שַׁמַּ֔י יֶ֖תֶר וְיוֹנָתָ֑ן וַיָּ֥מׇת יֶ֖תֶר לֹ֥א בָנִֽים ׃ {ס}
καὶ υἱοὶ Ιαδαε Αχισαμαι Ιεθερ Ιωναθαν καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ιεθερ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα
Filii autem Jada fratris Semei : Jether , et Jonathan . Sed et Jether mortuus est absque liberis .
ወወሉደ ፡ ያዳይ ፡ አክሴም ፡ ወይቴር ፡ ወዮናታን ፡ ወሞተ ፡ ይቴር ፡ እንዘ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ውሉድ ።
The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
2:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י יוֹנָתָ֖ן פֶּ֣לֶת וְזָזָ֑א אֵ֥לֶּה הָי֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יְרַחְמְאֵֽל ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Ιωναθαν Φαλεθ καὶ Οζαζα οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ιερεμεηλ
Porro Jonathan genuit Phaleth , et Ziza . Isti fuerunt filii Jerameel .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ዮናታን ፡ ፋሌት ፡ ወአዛዝ ፡ እሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኢያሬምሄል ።
The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
2:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹא ־הָיָ֧ה לְשֵׁשָׁ֛ן בָּנִ֖ים כִּ֣י אִם ־בָּנ֑וֹת וּלְשֵׁשָׁ֛ן עֶ֥בֶד מִצְרִ֖י וּשְׁמ֥וֹ יַרְחָֽע ׃
καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν τῷ Σωσαν υἱοί ἀλλ’ ἢ θυγατέρες καὶ τῷ Σωσαν παῖς Αἰγύπτιος καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῷ Ιωχηλ
Sesan autem non habuit filios , sed filias : et servum aegyptium nomine Jeraa .
ወለሶሳን ፡ አልቦ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ አዋልድ ፡ ወለሶሳን ፡ ቦገብር ፡ ግብፃዊ ፡ ወስሙ ፡ ኢዩሄል ፡ ወወሀቦ ፡ ሱሳንሃ ፡ ወለቶ ፡ ለኢዩሄል ፡ ገብሩ ፡ ትኩኖ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወወለደቶ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለያቲ ።
Now Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
2:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּתֵּ֨ן שֵׁשָׁ֧ן אֶת ־בִּתּ֛וֹ לְיַרְחָ֥ע עַבְדּ֖וֹ לְאִשָּׁ֑ה וַתֵּ֥לֶד ל֖וֹ אֶת ־עַתָּֽי ׃
καὶ ἔδωκεν Σωσαν τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ιωχηλ παιδὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς γυναῖκα καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Εθθι
Deditque ei filiam suam uxorem : quae peperit ei Ethei .
ወያቲ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለናታን ፡ ወናታን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለዛቤት ።
Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife; and she bore him Attai.
2:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַתַּי֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־נָתָ֔ן וְנָתָ֖ן הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־זָבָֽד ׃
καὶ Εθθι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναθαν καὶ Ναθαν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ζαβεδ
Ethei autem genuit Nathan , et Nathan genuit Zabad .
ወዛቤት ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአውፍልል ፡ ወአውፍልል ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኦቤድ ።
Attai became the father of Nathan, and Nathan became the father of Zabad,
2:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְזָבָד֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־אֶפְלָ֔ל וְאֶפְלָ֖ל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־עוֹבֵֽד ׃
καὶ Ζαβεδ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αφαληλ καὶ Αφαληλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ωβηδ
Zabad quoque genuit Ophlal , et Ophlal genuit Obed .
ወኦቤድ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢያሁ ፡ ወኢያሁ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአዛርያ ።
and Zabad became the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the father of Obed,
2:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעוֹבֵד֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־יֵה֔וּא וְיֵה֖וּא הֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־עֲזַרְיָֽה ׃
καὶ Ωβηδ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιηου καὶ Ιηου ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαριαν
Obed genuit Jehu , Jehu genuit Azariam ,
ወአዛርያ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአኪላሶን ፡ ወአኪላሶን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኤልያስ ።
and Obed became the father of Jehu, and Jehu became the father of Azariah,
2:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽעֲזַרְיָה֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־חָ֔לֶץ וְחֶ֖לֶץ הֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־אֶלְעָשָֽׂה ׃
καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Χελλης καὶ Χελλης ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ελεασα
Azarias genuit Helles , et Helles genuit Elasa .
ወኤልያስ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሴስማኤል ፡ ወሰስማኤል ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሱላም ።
and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,
2:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶלְעָשָׂה֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־סִֽסְמָ֔י וְסִסְמַ֖י הֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־שַׁלּֽוּם ׃
καὶ Ελεασα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σοσομαι καὶ Σοσομαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλουμ
Elasa genuit Sisamoi , Sisamoi genuit Sellum ,
ወሱላም ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢጦቆም ፡ ወኢዮቆም ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአቢሳም ።
and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,
2:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשַׁלּוּם֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־יְקַמְיָ֔ה וִיקַמְיָ֖ה הֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־אֱלִישָׁמָֽע ׃ {ס}
καὶ Σαλουμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιεχεμιαν καὶ Ιεχεμιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ελισαμα
Sellum genuit Icamiam , Icamia autem genuit Elisama .
ወወልደ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለኢያሬምሄል ፡ ማርያስ ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለዚፋ ፡ ወወለዶ ፡ ማርያስ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለኬብሮን ።
and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.
2:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֤י כָלֵב֙ אֲחִ֣י יְרַחְמְאֵ֔ל מֵישָׁ֥ע בְּכֹר֖וֹ ה֣וּא אֲבִי ־זִ֑יף וּבְנֵ֥י מָרֵשָׁ֖ה אֲבִ֥י חֶבְרֽוֹן ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Χαλεβ ἀδελφοῦ Ιερεμεηλ Μαρισα ὁ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ οὗτος πατὴρ Ζιφ καὶ υἱοὶ Μαρισα πατρὸς Χεβρων
Filii autem Caleb fratris Jerameel : Mesa primogenitus ejus ; ipse est pater Ziph : et filii Maresa patris Hebron .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወተፋ ፡ ወሩቆም ፡ ወሴማዓ ።
The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
2:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י חֶבְר֑וֹן קֹ֥רַח וְתַפֻּ֖חַ וְרֶ֥קֶם וָשָֽׁמַע ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Χεβρων Κορε καὶ Θαπους καὶ Ρεκομ καὶ Σεμαα
Porro filii Hebron , Core , et Taphua , et Recem , et Samma .
ወሴማዓ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለራኤም ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለኤርቃም ፡ ወኤርቃም ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለስማኤም ።
The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
2:44 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשֶׁ֣מַע הוֹלִ֔יד אֶת ־רַ֖חַם אֲבִ֣י יׇרְקְעָ֑ם וְרֶ֖קֶם הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־שַׁמָּֽי ׃
καὶ Σεμαα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ραεμ πατέρα Ιερκααν καὶ Ιερκααν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαμαι
Samma autem genuit Raham , patrem Jercaam , et Recem genuit Sammai .
ወስማኤም ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአማን ፡ ወአማን ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለቤተሱር ።
Shema became the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the father of Shammai.
2:45 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבֶן ־שַׁמַּ֖י מָע֑וֹן וּמָע֖וֹן אֲבִ֥י בֵֽית ־צֽוּר ׃
καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μαων καὶ Μαων πατὴρ Βαιθσουρ
Filius Sammai , Maon : et Maon pater Bethsur .
ወኤጌሶን ፡ ዕቅብቱ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ ወለደቶሙ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለአራን ፡ ወለዮሳዕ ፡ ወለጌዜኢ ፡ ወአራን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለጌዜኢ ።
The son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.
2:46 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעֵיפָה֙ פִּילֶ֣גֶשׁ כָּלֵ֔ב יָ֥לְדָ֛ה אֶת ־חָרָ֥ן וְאֶת ־מוֹצָ֖א וְאֶת ־גָּזֵ֑ז וְחָרָ֖ן הֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־גָּזֵֽז ׃ {ס}
καὶ Γαιφα ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλεβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αρραν καὶ τὸν Μωσα καὶ τὸν Γεζουε καὶ Αρραν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γεζουε
Epha autem concubina Caleb peperit Haran , et Mosa , et Gezez . Porro Haran genuit Gezez .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ዮሳዕ ፡ ሬጌም ፡ ወዮታም ፡ ወጌርሶም ፡ ወፋሌጥ ፡ ወጌፋዕ ፡ ወሰገሞ ።
Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.
2:47 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י יׇהְדָּ֑י רֶ֧גֶם וְיוֹתָ֛ם וְגֵישָׁ֥ן וָפֶ֖לֶט וְעֵיפָ֥ה וָשָֽׁעַף ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Ιαδαι Ραγεμ καὶ Ιωαθαμ καὶ Γηρσωμ καὶ Φαλετ καὶ Γαιφα καὶ Σαγαφ
Filii autem Jahaddai , Regom , et Joathan , et Gesan , et Phalet , et Epha , et Saaph .
ወሞካዕ ፡ ዕቅብቱ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ ወለደቶሙ ፡ ለሴብር ፡ ወለይት ፡ ርካና ።
The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jothan, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
2:48 ⧉ ⤴︎ פִּילֶ֤גֶשׁ כָּלֵב֙ מַֽעֲכָ֔ה יָ֥לַד שֶׁ֖בֶר וְאֶֽת ־תִּרְחֲנָֽה ׃
καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλεβ Μωχα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαβερ καὶ τὸν Θαρχνα
Concubina Caleb Maacha , peperit Saber , et Tharana .
ወወለደት ፡ ሰጋብ ፡ አባሆሙ ፡ ለምድሜና ፡ ወለሳኦል ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለምክሜና ፡ ወአቡሁ ፡ ለጌባላን ፡ ወወለቱ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ አኪሳዕ ።
Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
2:49 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתֵּ֗לֶד שַׁ֚עַף אֲבִ֣י מַדְמַנָּ֔ה אֶת ־שְׁוָ֛א אֲבִ֥י מַכְבֵּנָ֖ה וַאֲבִ֣י גִבְעָ֑א וּבַת ־כָּלֵ֖ב עַכְסָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐγέννησεν Σαγαφ πατέρα Μαρμηνα καὶ τὸν Σαου πατέρα Μαχαβηνα καὶ πατέρα Γαιβαα καὶ θυγάτηρ Χαλεβ Ασχα
Genuit autem Saaph pater Madmena Sue , patrem Machbena et patrem Gabaa . Filia vero Caleb fuit Achsa .
እሉ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ ወደቂቁ ፡ ለኦር ፡ በኵረ ፡ ኤፍራታ ፡ ሶባል ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለቀርያታርም ።
She bore also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
2:50 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֤לֶּה הָיוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י כָלֵ֔ב בֶּן ־ח֖וּר בְּכ֣וֹר אֶפְרָ֑תָה שׁוֹבָ֕ל אֲבִ֖י קִרְיַ֥ת יְעָרִֽים ׃
οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Χαλεβ υἱοὶ Ωρ πρωτοτόκου Εφραθα Σωβαλ πατὴρ Καριαθιαριμ
Hi erant filii Caleb , filii Hur primogeniti Ephratha , Sobal pater Cariathiarim .
ወሰሎም ፡ አበ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ልሔም ፡ ወኦሪ ፡ አበ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ጌዶር ።
These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim,
2:51 ⧉ ⤴︎ שַׂלְמָא֙ אֲבִ֣י בֵֽית ־לָ֔חֶם חָרֵ֖ף אֲבִ֥י בֵית ־גָּדֵֽר ׃
Σαλωμων πατὴρ Βαιθλαεμ Αριμ πατὴρ Βαιθγεδωρ
Salma pater Bethlehem , Hariph pater Bethgader .
ወኮኑ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለሶባል ፡ አበ ፡ ቀርያታርም ፡ አራኢስ ፡ ሐፄ ፡ ወአማኒት ፡ ወቴምናስዕ ።
Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader.
2:52 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּהְי֤וּ בָנִים֙ לְשׁוֹבָ֔ל אֲבִ֖י קִרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֑ים הָרֹאֶ֖ה חֲצִ֥י הַמְּנֻחֽוֹת ׃
καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ τῷ Σωβαλ πατρὶ Καριαθιαριμ Αραα Εσι Αμμανιθ
Fuerunt autem filii Sobal patris Cariathiarim , qui videbat dimidium requietionum .
ወነገደ ፡ ቀርያታርም ፡ ኢታኢም ፡ ቀኤፍትን ፡ ወአስማቲን ፡ ወኢማትናኤል ፡ ወእምእሉ ፡ ወጽኡ ፡ ሠራውያን ፡ ወይሱቱልያል ።
Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.
2:53 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת֙ קִרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֔ים הַיִּתְרִי֙ וְהַפּוּתִ֔י וְהַשֻּׁמָתִ֖י וְהַמִּשְׁרָעִ֑י מֵאֵ֗לֶּה יָֽצְאוּ֙ הַצָּ֣רְעָתִ֔י וְהָאֶשְׁתָּ֖אֻֽלִֽי ׃ {ס}
Εμοσφεως πόλις Ιαϊρ Αιθαλιμ καὶ Μιφιθιμ καὶ Ησαμαθιμ καὶ Ημασαραϊμ ἐκ τούτων ἐξήλθοσαν οἱ Σαραθαῖοι καὶ οἱ Εσθαωλαῖοι
Et de cognatione Cariathiarim , Jethrei , et Aphuthei , et Semathei , et Maserei . Ex his egressi sunt Saraitae , et Esthaolitae .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ሰሎም ፡ ቤተ ፡ ልሔም ፡ ወአንፍጦ ፡ ወአጥሮት ፡ ቤተ ፡ ኢዮኤል ፡ ወንፍቃል ፡ ወለምናት ፡ ሠራውያን ።
The families of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
2:54 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵ֣י שַׂלְמָ֗א בֵּ֥ית לֶ֙חֶם֙ וּנְט֣וֹפָתִ֔י עַטְר֖וֹת בֵּ֣ית יוֹאָ֑ב וַחֲצִ֥י הַמָּנַחְתִּ֖י הַצׇּרְעִֽי ׃
υἱοὶ Σαλωμων Βαιθλαεμ Νετωφαθι Αταρωθ οἴκου Ιωαβ καὶ ἥμισυ τῆς Μαναθι Ησαρεϊ
Filii Salma , Bethlehem , et Netophathi , coronae domus Joab , et dimidium requietionis Sarai :
ወነገዶሙ ፡ ለጸሐፍት ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጋዴስ ፡ ወኤርታቸኤም ፡ ወሱማቲኤም ፡ እሉ ፡ ቄኔዛውያን ፡ እለ ፡ ወጽኡ ፡ እምኤማት ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ራኬብ ።
