16:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Περὶ δὲ τῆς λογίας τῆς εἰς τοὺς ἁγίους , ὥσπερ διέταξα ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς Γαλατίας , οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ποιήσατε .
De collectis autem , quae fiunt in sanctos , sicut ordinavi ecclesiis Galatiae , ita et vos facite .
ወበእንተ አስተጋብኦሰ ለቅዱሳን በከመ ሠራዕክዎሙ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ዘገላትያ ከማሁ አንትሙሂ ግበሩ ።
Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise.
16:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ κατὰ μίαν σαββάτου ἕκαστος ὑμῶν παρ’ ἑαυτῷ τιθέτω θησαυρίζων ὅ τι ἂν εὐοδῶται , ἵνα μὴ ὅταν ἔλθω τότε λογίαι γίνωνται .
Per unam sabbati unusquisque vestrum apud se seponat , recondens quod ei bene placuerit : ut non , cum venero , tunc collectae fiant .
በበእሑድ ኵሉ ብእሲ እምኔክሙ ይዝግብ ሎቱ ዘተሰርሐ ወዘረከበ በቤቱ ለይዕቀብ ከመ ኢይኩን ቅሥት አመ መጻእኩ ።
On the first day of every week, let each one of you save as he may prosper, that no collections are made when I come.
16:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὅταν δὲ παραγένωμαι , οὓς ἐὰν δοκιμάσητε , δι’ ἐπιστολῶν τούτους πέμψω ἀπενεγκεῖν τὴν χάριν ὑμῶν εἰς Ἱερουσαλήμ ·
Cum autem praesens fuero , quos probaveritis per epistolas , hos mittam perferre gratiam vestram in Jerusalem .
ወአመ በጻሕኩ እፌኑ ዘኀረይክሙ ቦቱ ምስለ መልእክትየ ከመ ይትረከብ ሀብትክሙ በኢየሩሳሌም ።
When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.
16:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐὰν δὲ ᾖ ἄξιον τοῦ κἀμὲ πορεύεσθαι , σὺν ἐμοὶ πορεύσονται .
Quod si dignum fuerit ut et ego eam , mecum ibunt .
ወእመሰ ደለወኒ እሑር ለልየ አሐውር ወየሐውሩ ምስሌየ ።
If it is appropriate for me to go also, they will go with me.
16:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐλεύσομαι δὲ πρὸς ὑμᾶς ὅταν Μακεδονίαν διέλθω · Μακεδονίαν γὰρ διέρχομαι ,
Veniam autem ad vos , cum Macedoniam pertransiero : nam Macedoniam pertransibo .
ወእመጽእ ኀቤክሙ በጺሕየ መቄዶንያ ።
I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia.
16:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ πρὸς ὑμᾶς δὲ τυχὸν παραμενῶ ἢ καὶ παραχειμάσω , ἵνα ὑμεῖς με προπέμψητε οὗ ἐὰν πορεύωμαι .
Apud vos autem forsitan manebo , vel etiam hiemabo : ut vos me deducatis quocumque iero .
ወእምመቄዶንያ ኀሊፍየ እነብር ኀቤክሙ እለ ኮና መዋዕለ ለእመኒ እንጋ እከርም ኀቤክሙ ከመ አንትሙኒ ትፈንዉኒ ኀበ ሖርኩ ።
But with you it may be that I will stay with you, or even winter with you, that you may send me on my journey wherever I go.
16:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐ θέλω γὰρ ὑμᾶς ἄρτι ἐν παρόδῳ ἰδεῖν , ἐλπίζω γὰρ χρόνον τινὰ ἐπιμεῖναι πρὸς ὑμᾶς , ἐὰν ὁ κύριος ἐπιτρέψῃ .
Nolo enim vos modo in transitu videre , spero enim me aliquantulum temporis manere apud vos , si Dominus permiserit .
ወኢይፈቅድ ይእዜ ኅሉፈ እርአይክሙ ወባሕቱ እትአመን ከመ እነብር ኀቤክሙ ዘኮነ መዋዕለ ለእመ ፈቀደ እግዚአብሔር ።
For I do not wish to see you now in passing, but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits.
16:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐπιμενῶ δὲ ἐν Ἐφέσῳ ἕως τῆς πεντηκοστῆς ·
Permanebo autem Ephesi usque ad Pentecosten .
ወእነብር ኤፌሶን እስከ ጰንጠቆስጤ ።
But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost,
16:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ θύρα γάρ μοι ἀνέῳγεν μεγάλη καὶ ἐνεργής , καὶ ἀντικείμενοι πολλοί .
Ostium enim mihi apertum est magnum , et evidens : et adversarii multi .
እስመ ርኅው ሊተ ዐቢይ አንቀጽ ወግብር ምሉእ ወባሕቱ ብዙኃን መከልኣን ።
for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
16:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἐὰν δὲ ἔλθῃ Τιμόθεος , βλέπετε ἵνα ἀφόβως γένηται πρὸς ὑμᾶς , τὸ γὰρ ἔργον κυρίου ἐργάζεται ὡς κἀγώ ·
Si autem venerit Timotheus , videte ut sine timore sit apud vos : opus enim Domini operatur , sicut et ego .
ወአመ መጽአ ጢሞቴዎስ ዑቅዎ ከመ ኢይፍራህ በኀቤክሙ እስመ ግብረ እግዚአብሔር ይገብር ከማየ ።
Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
16:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ μή τις οὖν αὐτὸν ἐξουθενήσῃ . προπέμψατε δὲ αὐτὸν ἐν εἰρήνῃ , ἵνα ἔλθῃ πρός με , ἐκδέχομαι γὰρ αὐτὸν μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν .
Ne quis ergo illum spernat : deducite autem illum in pace , ut veniat ad me : exspecto enim illum cum fratribus .
ወአልቦ ዘይሜንኖ ወፈንውዎ በሰላም ይምጻእ ኀቤየ እስመ እጸንሖ ምስለ አኀዊነ ።
Therefore let no one despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.
16:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ Περὶ δὲ Ἀπολλὼ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ , πολλὰ παρεκάλεσα αὐτὸν ἵνα ἔλθῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν · καὶ πάντως οὐκ ἦν θέλημα ἵνα νῦν ἔλθῃ , ἐλεύσεται δὲ ὅταν εὐκαιρήσῃ .
De Apollo autem fratre vobis notum facio , quoniam multum rogavi eum ut veniret ad vos cum fratribus : et utique non fuit voluntas ut nunc veniret : veniet autem , cum ei vacuum fuerit .
ወበእንተሰ እኁነ አጵሎስ ብዙኀ አስተብቋዕክዎ ይምጻእ ኀቤክሙ ምስለ አኀው ወዮጊ ኢፈቀደ ሎቱ እግዚአብሔር ይምጻእ ኀቤክሙ ይእዜ ወይመጽእ ባሕቱ አመ ተክህሎ ።
Now concerning Apollos the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.
16:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ Γρηγορεῖτε , στήκετε ἐν τῇ πίστει , ἀνδρίζεσθε , κραταιοῦσθε ·
Vigilate , state in fide , viriliter agite , et confortamini .
ትግሁ ወቁሙ በሃይማኖት ተዐገሡ ወአጥብዑ ።
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
16:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ πάντα ὑμῶν ἐν ἀγάπῃ γινέσθω .
Omnia vestra in caritate fiant .
ወኵሎ በተፋቅሮ ግበሩ ።
Let all that you do be done in love.
16:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ Παρακαλῶ δὲ ὑμᾶς , ἀδελφοί · οἴδατε τὴν οἰκίαν Στεφανᾶ , ὅτι ἔστιν ἀπαρχὴ τῆς Ἀχαΐας καὶ εἰς διακονίαν τοῖς ἁγίοις ἔταξαν ἑαυτούς ·
Obsecro autem vos fratres , nostis domum Stephanae , et Fortunati , et Achaici : quoniam sunt primitiae Achaiae , et in ministerium sanctorum ordinaverunt seipsos :
አስተበቍዐክሙ አኀዊነ ታእምሩ ቤተ እስጢፋኖስ ወፈርዶናጥስ ወአካይቆስ ከመ እሙንቱ ቀዳምያኒሃ ለአካይያ ወለመልእክተ ቅዱሳን አዘዝክዎሙ ።
Now I beg you, brothers—you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints—
16:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἵνα καὶ ὑμεῖς ὑποτάσσησθε τοῖς τοιούτοις καὶ παντὶ τῷ συνεργοῦντι καὶ κοπιῶντι .
ut et vos subditi sitis ejusmodi , et omni cooperanti , et laboranti .
ከመ አንትሙኒ ትትአዘዙ ለዘከመ እሉ ወለኵሉ ዘየኀብር ግብረ ወይጻሙ ምስሌነ ።
that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.
16:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ χαίρω δὲ ἐπὶ τῇ παρουσίᾳ Στεφανᾶ καὶ Φορτουνάτου καὶ Ἀχαϊκοῦ , ὅτι τὸ ὑμέτερον ὑστέρημα οὗτοι ἀνεπλήρωσαν ,
Gaudeo autem in praesentia Stephanae , et Fortunati , et Achaici : quoniam id , quod vobis deerat , ipsi suppleverunt :
ወእትፌሣሕ በምጽአቶሙ ለእስጢፋኖስ ወፈርዶናጥስ ወአካይቆስ እስመ ዘአንትሙ አሕጸጽክሙ እሙንቱ ፈጸሙ ወአስተፍሥሕዋ ለነፍስየ ወለነፍስክሙ ።
I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus; for that which was lacking on your part, they supplied.
16:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἀνέπαυσαν γὰρ τὸ ἐμὸν πνεῦμα καὶ τὸ ὑμῶν . ἐπιγινώσκετε οὖν τοὺς τοιούτους .
refecerunt enim et meum spiritum , et vestrum . Cognoscite ergo qui hujusmodi sunt .
ወአእምርዎሙ ለእለ ከመዝ ።
For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge those who are like that.
16:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς αἱ ἐκκλησίαι τῆς Ἀσίας . ἀσπάζεται ὑμᾶς ἐν κυρίῳ πολλὰ Ἀκύλας καὶ Πρίσκα σὺν τῇ κατ’ οἶκον αὐτῶν ἐκκλησίᾳ .
Salutant vos ecclesiae Asiae . Salutant vos in Domino multum , Aquila et Priscilla cum domestica sua ecclesia : apud quos et hospitor .
አምኁክሙ ቤተ ክርስቲያናት ዘእስያ አምኁክሙ በእግዚእነ ፈድፋደ አቂላ ወጵርስቅላ ወእለሂ ምስሌሆሙ እለ ውስተ ቤቶሙ ።
The assemblies of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, together with the assembly that is in their house.
16:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ πάντες . ἀσπάσασθε ἀλλήλους ἐν φιλήματι ἁγίῳ .
Salutant vos omnes fratres . Salutate invicem in osculo sancto .
ወአምኁክሙ አኀዊነ ኵሎሙ ተአምኁ በበይናቲክሙ በአምኃ ቅድሳት ።
All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
16:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ὁ ἀσπασμὸς τῇ ἐμῇ χειρὶ Παύλου .
Salutatio , mea manu Pauli .
አማኅኩክሙ ጽሒፍየ ዘንተ በእደ ዚኣየ አነ ጳውሎስ ።
This greeting is by me, Paul, with my own hand.
16:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ εἴ τις οὐ φιλεῖ τὸν κύριον , ἤτω ἀνάθεμα . μαρὰν ἀθά .
Si quis non amat Dominum nostrum Jesum Christum , sit anathema , Maran Atha .
ወዘሰ ኢያፈቅሮ ለእግዚእነ ውጉዘ ለይኩን እምተስፋ እግዚአብሔር እስከ ምጽአቱ ለእግዚእነ ።
If any man doesn’t love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be cursed. Come, Lord!
16:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ μεθ’ ὑμῶν .
Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi vobiscum .
ጸጋሁ ለእግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ምስሌክሙ ።
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
16:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἡ ἀγάπη μου μετὰ πάντων ὑμῶν ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ .
Caritas mea cum omnibus vobis in Christo Jesu . Amen .
ወፍቅረ ዚኣየ ምስለ ኵልክሙ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ፤ አሜን ። ተፈጽመት መልእክት ቀዳማዊት ኀበ ሰብአ ቆርንቶስ ዘተጽሕፈት በኤፌሶን ወተፈነወት ምስለ ጢሞቴዎስ ወእስጢፋኖስ ወፈርዶናጥስ ወአካይቆስ ። ወስብሐት ለእግዚአብሔር ለዓለመ ዓለም ፤ አሜን ።
