4:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Λαλούντων δὲ αὐτῶν πρὸς τὸν λαὸν ἐπέστησαν αὐτοῖς οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ ὁ στρατηγὸς τοῦ ἱεροῦ καὶ οἱ Σαδδουκαῖοι ,
Loquentibus autem illis ad populum , supervenerunt sacerdotes , et magistratus templi , et sadducaei ,
ወእንዘ ይነግሮሙ ለሕዝብ መጽኡ ሊቃነ ካህናት ወመገብተ ምኵራብ ወሰዱቃውያን ።
As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them,
4:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ διαπονούμενοι διὰ τὸ διδάσκειν αὐτοὺς τὸν λαὸν καὶ καταγγέλλειν ἐν τῷ Ἰησοῦ τὴν ἀνάστασιν τὴν ἐκ νεκρῶν ,
dolentes quod docerent populum , et annuntiarent in Jesu resurrectionem ex mortuis :
ወቀንኡ ላዕሌሆሙ እስመ ይሜህርዎሙ ለሕዝብ ወይነግርዎሙ በእንተ ኢየሱስ ከመ ሐይወ እምዉታን ።
being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
4:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἐπέβαλον αὐτοῖς τὰς χεῖρας καὶ ἔθεντο εἰς τήρησιν εἰς τὴν αὔριον · ἦν γὰρ ἑσπέρα ἤδη .
et injecerunt in eos manus , et posuerunt eos in custodiam in crastinum : erat enim jam vespera .
ወአኀዝዎሙ ወአውዐልዎሙ ሙዓለ እስከ ጌሠም እስመ ወድአ መስየ ።
They laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was now evening.
4:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ πολλοὶ δὲ τῶν ἀκουσάντων τὸν λόγον ἐπίστευσαν , καὶ ἐγενήθη ἀριθμὸς τῶν ἀνδρῶν χιλιάδες πέντε .
Multi autem eorum qui audierant verbum , crediderunt : et factus est numerus virorum quinque millia .
ወብዙኃን ሰብእ እለ ሰምዕዎ ለዝ ነገር ወአምኑ ወኮነ ኍልቆሙ ለዕደው እለ አምኑ መጠነ ኀምሳ ምእት ።
But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.
4:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐπὶ τὴν αὔριον συναχθῆναι αὐτῶν τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους καὶ τοὺς γραμματεῖς εἰς Ἱερουσαλήμ
Factum est autem in crastinum , ut congregarentur principes eorum , et seniores , et scribae , in Jerusalem :
ወእምዝ በሳኒታ ተጋብኡ መላእክት ወረበናት ወጸሐፍት በኢየሩሳሌም ።
In the morning, their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem.
4:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ Ἄννας ὁ ἀρχιερεὺς καὶ Καϊάφας καὶ Ἰωάννης καὶ Ἀλέξανδρος καὶ ὅσοι ἦσαν ἐκ γένους ἀρχιερατικοῦ
et Annas princeps sacerdotum , et Caiphas , et Joannes , et Alexander , et quotquot erant de genere sacerdotali .
ወሐና ሊቀ ካህናት ወቀያፋ ወዮሐንስ ወእለ እስክንድሮስ ወኵሎሙ ዘመደ ካህናት ።
Annas the high priest was there, with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the high priest.
4:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ στήσαντες αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ μέσῳ ἐπυνθάνοντο , ἐν ποίᾳ δυνάμει ἢ ἐν ποίῳ ὀνόματι τοῦτο ἐποιήσατε ὑμεῖς ;
Et statuentes eos in medio , interrogabant : In qua virtute , aut in quo nomine fecistis hoc vos ?
ወአቀምዎሙ ማእከለ ዐውድ ወሐተትዎሙ ወይቤልዎሙ በኀይለ መኑ ወበስመ መኑ ገበርክሙ ዘንተ አንትሙ ።
When they had stood Peter and John in the middle of them, they inquired, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”
4:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ τότε Πέτρος πλησθεὶς πνεύματος ἁγίου εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς , ἄρχοντες τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ πρεσβύτεροι ,
Tunc repletus Spiritu Sancto Petrus , dixit ad eos : Principes populi , et seniores , audite :
ወመልአ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ሶቤሃ ላዕለ ጴጥሮስ ወይቤሎሙ ስምዑ መላእክተ ሕዝብ ወረበናት ።
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “You rulers of the people and elders of Israel,
4:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ εἰ ἡμεῖς σήμερον ἀνακρινόμεθα ἐπὶ εὐεργεσίᾳ ἀνθρώπου ἀσθενοῦς , ἐν τίνι οὗτος σέσωται ,
si nos hodie dijudicamur in benefacto hominis infirmi , in quo iste salvus factus est ,
ለእመሁ ንሕነ ንትኴነን ኀቤክሙ በእንተ ረድኤተ ሕሙም ዘኮነ ዮም በምንትኑ እንከ ሐይወ ዝንቱ ።
if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,
4:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ γνωστὸν ἔστω πᾶσιν ὑμῖν καὶ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ Ἰσραὴλ ὅτι ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ Ναζωραίου , ὃν ὑμεῖς ἐσταυρώσατε , ὃν ὁ θεὸς ἤγειρεν ἐκ νεκρῶν , ἐν τούτῳ οὗτος παρέστηκεν ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν ὑγιής .
notum sit omnibus vobis , et omni plebi Israël , quia in nomine Domini nostri Jesu Christi Nazareni , quem vos crucifixistis , quem Deus suscitavit a mortuis , in hoc iste astat coram vobis sanus .
አእምሩ እንከ ጥዩቀ ኵልክሙ ወኵሉ ቤተ እስራኤል ከመ በስሙ ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ናዝራዊ ዘአንትሙ ቀተልክምዎ ወእግዚአብሔር አንሥኦ እሙታን ወቦቱ ሐይወ ዝንቱ ወቆመ ቅድሜክሙ ።
may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him.
4:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ λίθος ὁ ἐξουθενηθεὶς ὑφ’ ὑμῶν τῶν οἰκοδόμων , ὁ γενόμενος εἰς κεφαλὴν γωνίας .
Hic est lapis qui reprobatus est a vobis aedificantibus , qui factus est in caput anguli :
እስመ ውእቱ እብን ዘመነንክምዎ አንትሙ ነደቀት ወውእቱ ኮነ ውስተ ርእሰ ማእዘንት ።
He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’
4:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν ἄλλῳ οὐδενὶ ἡ σωτηρία , οὐδὲ γὰρ ὄνομά ἐστιν ἕτερον ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανὸν τὸ δεδομένον ἐν ἀνθρώποις ἐν ᾧ δεῖ σωθῆναι ἡμᾶς .
et non est in alio aliquo salus . Nec enim aliud nomen est sub caelo datum hominibus , in quo oporteat nos salvos fieri .
ወአልቦ ካልእ ሕይወት በዘየሐይዉ ወአልቦ ካልእ ስም በታሕተ ሰማይ ዘይትወሀብ ለዕጓለ እመሕያው ።
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
4:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ Θεωροῦντες δὲ τὴν τοῦ Πέτρου παρρησίαν καὶ Ἰωάννου , καὶ καταλαβόμενοι ὅτι ἄνθρωποι ἀγράμματοί εἰσιν καὶ ἰδιῶται , ἐθαύμαζον ἐπεγίνωσκόν τε αὐτοὺς ὅτι σὺν τῷ Ἰησοῦ ἦσαν ·
Videntes autem Petri constantiam , et Joannis , comperto quod homines essent sine litteris , et idiotae , admirabantur , et cognoscebant eos quoniam cum Jesu fuerant :
ወሶበ ርእይዎሙ ለጴጥሮስ ወለዮሐንስ ከመ ገሃደ ይነግርዎሙ አእመርዎሙ ከመ ሰብእ የዋሃን እሙንቱ ወኢየአምሩ መጽሐፈ ወአንከርዎሙ እስመ የአምርዎሙ ዘልፈ ከመ ምስለ ኢየሱስ ሀለዉ ።
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.
4:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ τόν τε ἄνθρωπον βλέποντες σὺν αὐτοῖς ἑστῶτα τὸν τεθεραπευμένον οὐδὲν εἶχον ἀντειπεῖν .
hominem quoque videntes stantem cum eis , qui curatus fuerat , nihil poterant contradicere .
ወይሬእይዎ ለዝኩሂ ብእሲ ዘሐይወ ይቀውም ምስሌሆሙ ወኀጥኡ ዘይብሉ ወዘይነብቡ ።
Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
4:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ κελεύσαντες δὲ αὐτοὺς ἔξω τοῦ συνεδρίου ἀπελθεῖν συνέβαλλον πρὸς ἀλλήλους
Jusserunt autem eos foras extra concilium secedere : et conferebant ad invicem ,
ወአእተትዎሙ ሕቀ እምዐውድ ወተናገሩ በበይናቲሆሙ ።
But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
4:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ λέγοντες , τί ποιήσωμεν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τούτοις ; ὅτι μὲν γὰρ γνωστὸν σημεῖον γέγονεν δι’ αὐτῶν πᾶσιν τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν Ἱερουσαλὴμ φανερόν , καὶ οὐ δυνάμεθα ἀρνεῖσθαι ·
dicentes : Quid faciemus hominibus istis ? quoniam quidem notum signum factum est per eos omnibus habitantibus Jerusalem : manifestum est , et non possumus negare .
ወይቤሉ ምንተ ንሬስዮሙ ለእሉ ሰብእ ናሁ ተዐውቀ ትምህርቶሙ በኀበ ኵሎሙ እለ ይነብሩ ኢየሩሳሌም ወገሃደ ኮነ ወኢንክል ከቢቶቶ ።
saying, “What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it.
4:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἀλλ’ ἵνα μὴ ἐπὶ πλεῖον διανεμηθῇ εἰς τὸν λαόν , ἀπειλησώμεθα αὐτοῖς μηκέτι λαλεῖν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι τούτῳ μηδενὶ ἀνθρώπων .
Sed ne amplius divulgetur in populum , comminemur eis ne ultra loquantur in nomine hoc ulli hominum .
ዳእሙ ከመ ፈድፋደ ኢይብዛኅ በላዕለ ሕዝብ ንገሥጾሙ ከመ ዳግመ ኢይንግሩ በስሙ ለኢየሱስ ለሰብእ ።
But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.”
4:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ καλέσαντες αὐτοὺς παρήγγειλαν καθόλου μὴ φθέγγεσθαι μηδὲ διδάσκειν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ Ἰησοῦ .
Et vocantes eos , denuntiaverunt ne omnino loquerentur neque docerent in nomine Jesu .
ወጸውዕዎሙ ወይቤልዎሙ ግሙራ ኢትንግሩ ወኢትምሀሩ በስሙ ለኢየሱስ ።
They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
4:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ Πέτρος καὶ Ἰωάννης ἀποκριθέντες εἶπον πρὸς αὐτούς · εἰ δίκαιόν ἐστιν ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν ἀκούειν μᾶλλον ἢ τοῦ θεοῦ , κρίνατε ·
Petrus vero et Joannes respondentes , dixerunt ad eos : Si justum est in conspectu Dei vos potius audire quam Deum , judicate .
ወተሰጥውዎሙ ጴጥሮስ ወዮሐንስ ወይቤልዎሙ ይረትዕኑ በቅድመ እግዚአብሔር ኪያክሙ ንስማዕ ወአኮ ለእግዚአብሔር ፍትሑ እስኩ ለሊክሙ ።
But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,
4:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐ δυνάμεθα γὰρ ἡμεῖς ἃ εἴδαμεν καὶ ἠκούσαμεν μὴ λαλεῖν .
Non enim possumus quae vidimus et audivimus non loqui .
ንሕነሰኬ ኢንክል ከቢቶቶ ለዝንቱ ነገር ።
for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.”
4:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ οἱ δὲ προσαπειλησάμενοι ἀπέλυσαν αὐτούς , μηδὲν εὑρίσκοντες τὸ πῶς κολάσωνται αὐτούς , διὰ τὸν λαόν , ὅτι πάντες ἐδόξαζον τὸν θεὸν ἐπὶ τῷ γεγονότι ·
At illi comminantes dimiserunt eos , non invenientes quomodo punirent eos propter populum : quia omnes clarificabant id quod factum fuerat in eo quod acciderat .
ወእምዝ ገሠጽዎሙ ወኀደግዎሙ ሶበ ኀጥኡ በዘይኴንንዎሙ እስመ ኵሉ ሕዝብ የአኵቱ እግዚአብሔርሃ በእንተ ውእቱ ተኣምር ዘኮነ ።
When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.
4:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐτῶν γὰρ ἦν πλειόνων τεσσεράκοντα ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐφ’ ὃν γεγόνει τὸ σημεῖον τοῦτο τῆς ἰάσεως .
Annorum enim erat amplius quadraginta homo , in quo factum fuerat signum istud sanitatis .
እስመ ፈድፈዶ እምአርብዓ ዓመት ለውእቱ ብእሲ ዘበላዕሌሁ ኮነ ዝ ተኣምረ ሕይወት ።
For the man on whom this miracle of healing was performed was more than forty years old.
4:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἀπολυθέντες δὲ ἦλθον πρὸς τοὺς ἰδίους καὶ ἀπήγγειλαν ὅσα πρὸς αὐτοὺς οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι εἶπαν .
Dimissi autem venerunt ad suos , et annuntiaverunt eis quanta ad eos principes sacerdotum et seniores dixissent .
ወተፈቲሖሙ ሖሩ ኀበ ሰብኦሙ ወነገርዎሙ ኵሎ ዘይቤልዎሙ ሊቃነ ካህናት ወረበናት ።
Being let go, they came to their own company and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
4:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ οἱ δὲ ἀκούσαντες ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἦραν φωνὴν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ εἶπαν , δέσποτα , σὺ ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς ,
Qui cum audissent , unanimiter levaverunt vocem ad Deum , et dixerunt : Domine , tu es qui fecisti caelum et terram , mare et omnia quae in eis sunt :
ወሰሚዖሙ ዘንተ አንሥኡ ቃሎሙ ኅቡረ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወይቤሉ አንተ እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ዘገበርከ ሰማየ ወምድረ ወባሕረ ወኵሎ ዘውስቴቶሙ ።
When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord and said, “O Lord, you are God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;
4:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν διὰ πνεύματος ἁγίου στόματος Δαυεὶδ παιδός σου εἰπών , ἱνατί ἐφρύαξαν ἔθνη καὶ λαοὶ ἐμελέτησαν κενά ;
qui Spiritu Sancto per os patris nostri David pueri tui dixisti : Quare fremuerunt gentes , et populi meditati sunt inania ?
ዘለሊከ ነበብከ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ በአፈ ዳዊት ገብርከ አቡነ ወትቤ «ለምንት አንገለጉ አሕዛብ ወሕዝብኒ ነበቡ ከንቶ ።
who by the mouth of your servant David, said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?
4:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ παρέστησαν οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες συνήχθησαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ κατὰ τοῦ κυρίου καὶ κατὰ τοῦ Χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ .
Astiterunt reges terrae , et principes convenerunt in unum adversus Dominum , et adversus Christum ejus .
ወተንሥኡ ነገሥተ ምድር ወመላእክትኒ ተጋብኡ ምስሌሆሙ ኅቡረ ላዕለ እግዚአብሔር ወላዕለ መሲሑ ።»
The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers plot together, against the Lord, and against his Christ.’
4:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ συνήχθησαν γὰρ ἐπ’ ἀληθείας ἐν τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ ἐπὶ τὸν ἅγιον παῖδά σου Ἰησοῦν , ὃν ἔχρισας , Ἡρῴδης τε καὶ Πόντιος Πειλᾶτος σὺν ἔθνεσιν καὶ λαοῖς Ἰσραήλ ,
Convenerunt enim vere in civitate ista adversus sanctum puerum tuum Jesum , quem unxisti , Herodes et Pontius Pilatus , cum gentibus et populis Israël ,
አማን አንገለጉ በዛቲ ሀገር ላዕለ ቅዱስ ወልድከ ኢየሱስ ዘቀባዕካሁ ሄሮድስ ወጲላጦስ ጴንጤናዊ ምስለ ሕዘቢሆሙ ወሕዝበ እስራኤል ።
“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,
4:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ ποιῆσαι ὅσα ἡ χείρ σου καὶ ἡ βουλή σου προώρισεν γενέσθαι .
facere quae manus tua et consilium tuum decreverunt fieri .
ከመ ይግበሩ በከመ ሥርዐተ እዴከ ወምክርከ ከመ ይኩን ።
to do whatever your hand and your counsel foreordained to happen.
4:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ τὰ νῦν , κύριε , ἔπιδε ἐπὶ τὰς ἀπειλὰς αὐτῶν , καὶ δὸς τοῖς δούλοις σου μετὰ παρρησίας πάσης λαλεῖν τὸν λόγον σου ,
Et nunc , Domine , respice in minas eorum , et da servis tuis cum omni fiducia loqui verbum tuum ,
ወይእዜኒ እግዚኦ ርኢ ትምክሕቶሙ ወሀቦሙ ለአግብርቲከ ገሃደ ይንግሩ ቃለከ ።
Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,
4:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐν τῷ τὴν χεῖρά σου ἐκτείνειν σε εἰς ἴασιν καὶ σημεῖα καὶ τέρατα γίνεσθαι διὰ τοῦ ὀνόματος τοῦ ἁγίου παιδός σου Ἰησοῦ .
in eo quod manum tuam extendas ad sanitates , et signa , et prodigia fieri per nomen sancti filii tui Jesu .
ወትስፋሕ እዴከ ወትግበር ትእምርተ ወመንክረ በስመ ወልድከ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ንጹሕ ።
while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus.”
4:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ δεηθέντων αὐτῶν ἐσαλεύθη ὁ τόπος ἐν ᾧ ἦσαν συνηγμένοι , καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν ἅπαντες τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος , καὶ ἐλάλουν τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ μετὰ παρρησίας .
Et cum orassent , motus est locus in quo erant congregati : et repleti sunt omnes Spiritu Sancto , et loquebantur verbum Dei cum fiducia .
ወእንዘ ይጼልዩ አድለቅለቀ ውእቱ መካን ኀበ ሀለዉ ይነብሩ ኅቡረ ጉቡኣን ወመልአ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ዲበ ኵሎሙ ወነገሩ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ገሃደ ።
When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
4:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τοῦ δὲ πλήθους τῶν πιστευσάντων ἦν καρδία καὶ ψυχὴ μία , καὶ οὐδὲ εἷς τι τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτῷ ἔλεγεν ἴδιον εἶναι , ἀλλ’ ἦν αὐτοῖς ἅπαντα κοινά .
Multitudinis autem credentium erat cor unum et anima una : nec quisquam eorum quae possidebat , aliquid suum esse dicebat , sed erant illis omnia communia .
ወኵሎሙ እለ አምኑ በአሐዱ ልብ ወበአሐቲ ነፍስ ወአልቦ እምውስቴቶሙ ዘይብል ዝሰ ዚኣየ ንዋይ አላ ዘኵሎሙ ኅቡረ ።
The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
4:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ δυνάμει μεγάλῃ ἀπεδίδουν τὸ μαρτύριον οἱ ἀπόστολοι τῆς ἀναστάσεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ κυρίου , χάρις τε μεγάλη ἦν ἐπὶ πάντας αὐτούς .
Et virtute magna reddebant Apostoli testimonium resurrectionis Jesu Christi Domini nostri : et gratia magna erat in omnibus illis .
ወዐቢየ ኀይለ ይገብሩ ሐዋርያት ስምዐ ተንሥኦቱ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወዐቢይ ሞገስ ቦሙ በኀበ ኵሉ ።
With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.
4:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐδὲ γὰρ ἐνδεής τις ἦν ἐν αὐτοῖς · ὅσοι γὰρ κτήτορες χωρίων ἢ οἰκιῶν ὑπῆρχον , πωλοῦντες ἔφερον τὰς τιμὰς τῶν πιπρασκομένων
Neque enim quisquam egens erat inter illos . Quotquot enim possessores agrorum aut domorum erant , vendentes afferebant pretia eorum quae vendebant ,
ወአልቦ እምውስቴቶሙ ጽኑስ ወኵሉ ዘቦ ቤት ወዐጸድ ይሠይጡ ወያመጽኡ ሤጦ ።
For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,
4:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἐτίθουν παρὰ τοὺς πόδας τῶν ἀποστόλων · διεδίδετο δὲ ἑκάστῳ καθότι ἄν τις χρείαν εἶχεν .
et ponebant ante pedes Apostolorum . Dividebatur autem singulis prout cuique opus erat .
ወያነብሩ ታሕተ እገሪሆሙ ለሐዋርያት ወእሙንቱ ይከፍሉ ለጽኑሳን ለለአሐዱ በከመ መፍቅዱ ።
and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.
4:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἰωσὴφ δὲ ὁ ἐπικληθεὶς Βαρναβᾶς ἀπὸ τῶν ἀποστόλων , ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον υἱὸς παρακλήσεως , Λευείτης , Κύπριος τῷ γένει ,
Joseph autem , qui cognominatus est Barnabas ab Apostolis (quod est interpretatum , Filius consolationis ), Levites , Cyprius genere ,
ወሀሎ አሐዱ ብእሲ ዘስሙ ዮሴፍ ዘይብልዎ በርናባስ እምውስተ ሐዋርያት ወበትርጓሜሁ ይብልዎ ወልደ ፍሥሓ ሌዋዊ ዘምድረ ቆጵሮስ ።
Joses, who by the apostles was also called Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race,
4:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὑπάρχοντος αὐτῷ ἀγροῦ πωλήσας ἤνεγκεν τὸ χρῆμα καὶ ἔθηκεν πρὸς τοὺς πόδας τῶν ἀποστόλων .
cum haberet agrum , vendidit eum , et attulit pretium , et posuit ante pedes Apostolorum .
ወቦ ገራህት ወሤጠ ወአምጽአ ሤጦ ወአንበረ ታሕተ እግረ ሐዋርያት ።
having a field, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
