13:1
אֵ֣ת כׇּל־הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָנֹכִי֙ מְצַוֶּ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם אֹת֥וֹ תִשְׁמְר֖וּ לַעֲשׂ֑וֹת לֹא־תֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א תִגְרַ֖ע מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ {פ}
πᾶν ῥῆμα ὃ ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον τοῦτο φυλάξῃ ποιεῖν οὐ προσθήσεις ἐπ’ αὐτὸ οὐδὲ ἀφελεῖς ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ
Si surrexerit in medio tui prophetes, aut qui somnium vidisse se dicat, et praedixerit signum atque portentum,
ኵሎ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ እኤዝዘከ ፡ ዮም ፡ ኪያሁ ፡ ዕቀብ ፡ ለገቢር ፡ ኢትወስክ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ወኢታንኪ ፡ እምኔሁ ።
If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,
13:2
כִּֽי־יָק֤וּם בְּקִרְבְּךָ֙ נָבִ֔יא א֖וֹ חֹלֵ֣ם חֲל֑וֹם וְנָתַ֥ן אֵלֶ֛יךָ א֖וֹת א֥וֹ מוֹפֵֽת׃
ἐὰν δὲ ἀναστῇ ἐν σοὶ προφήτης ἢ ἐνυπνιαζόμενος ἐνύπνιον καὶ δῷ σοι σημεῖον ἢ τέρας
et evenerit quod locutus est, et dixerit tibi : Eamus, et sequamur deos alienos quos ignoras, et serviamus eis :
ወለእመኒ ፡ ተንሥአ ፡ እምኔከ ፡ ነቢይ ፡ አው ፡ ሐላሜ ፡ ሕልም ፡ ወገብረ ፡ ተአምረ ፡ አው ፡ መድምመ ፤
and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, “Let’s go after other gods” (which you have not known) “and let’s serve them,”
13:3
וּבָ֤א הָאוֹת֙ וְהַמּוֹפֵ֔ת אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ לֵאמֹ֑ר נֵֽלְכָ֞ה אַחֲרֵ֨י אֱלֹהִ֧ים אֲחֵרִ֛ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יְדַעְתָּ֖ם וְנׇֽעׇבְדֵֽם׃
καὶ ἔλθῃ τὸ σημεῖον ἢ τὸ τέρας ὃ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς σὲ λέγων πορευθῶμεν καὶ λατρεύσωμεν θεοῖς ἑτέροις οὓς οὐκ οἴδατε
non audies verba prophetae illius aut somniatoris : quia tentat vos Dominus Deus vester, ut palam fiat utrum diligatis eum an non, in toto corde, et in tota anima vestra.
ወበጽሐ ፡ ተአምሪሁ ፡ አው ፡ መድምም ፡ ዘይቤለከ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብል ፡ ነዐ ፡ ንሑር ፡ ወናምልክ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ ዘኢታአምሩ ፤
you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams; for Yahweh your God is testing you, to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
13:4
לֹ֣א תִשְׁמַ֗ע אֶל־דִּבְרֵי֙ הַנָּבִ֣יא הַה֔וּא א֛וֹ אֶל־חוֹלֵ֥ם הַחֲל֖וֹם הַה֑וּא כִּ֣י מְנַסֶּ֞ה יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ אֶתְכֶ֔ם לָדַ֗עַת הֲיִשְׁכֶ֤ם אֹֽהֲבִים֙ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם בְּכׇל־לְבַבְכֶ֖ם וּבְכׇל־נַפְשְׁכֶֽם׃
οὐκ ἀκούσεσθε τῶν λόγων τοῦ προφήτου ἐκείνου ἢ τοῦ ἐνυπνιαζομένου τὸ ἐνύπνιον ἐκεῖνο ὅτι πειράζει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμᾶς εἰδέναι εἰ ἀγαπᾶτε κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμῶν ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς ὑμῶν
Dominum Deum vestrum sequimini, et ipsum timete, et mandata illius custodite, et audite vocem ejus : ipsi servietis, et ipsi adhaerebitis.
ኢትስምዕዎ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ነቢይ ፡ አው ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ሐላሜ ፡ ሕልም ፡ እስመ ፡ ያሜክረክሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይርአይ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ታፈቅርዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ልብክሙ ፡ ወእምኵሉ ፡ ነፍስክሙ ።
You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.
13:5
אַחֲרֵ֨י יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֛ם תֵּלֵ֖כוּ וְאֹת֣וֹ תִירָ֑אוּ וְאֶת־מִצְוֺתָ֤יו תִּשְׁמֹ֙רוּ֙ וּבְקֹל֣וֹ תִשְׁמָ֔עוּ וְאֹת֥וֹ תַעֲבֹ֖דוּ וּב֥וֹ תִדְבָּקֽוּן׃
ὀπίσω κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν πορεύεσθε καὶ αὐτὸν φοβηθήσεσθε καὶ τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ φυλάξεσθε καὶ τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ ἀκούσεσθε καὶ αὐτῷ προστεθήσεσθε
Propheta autem ille aut fictor somniorum interficietur : quia locutus est ut vos averteret a Domino Deo vestro, qui eduxit vos de terra Aegypti, et redemit vos de domo servitutis : ut errare te faceret de via, quam tibi praecepit Dominus Deus tuus : et auferes malum de medio tui.
ወትልውዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ወኪያሁ ፡ ፍርሁ ፡ ወትእዛዞ ፡ ዕቀቡ ፡ ወቃሎ ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ወኀቤሁ ፡ ተማኅፀኑ ።
That prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he has spoken rebellion against Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to draw you aside out of the way which Yahweh your God commanded you to walk in. So you shall remove the evil from among you.
13:6
וְהַנָּבִ֣יא הַה֡וּא א֣וֹ חֹלֵם֩ הַחֲל֨וֹם הַה֜וּא יוּמָ֗ת כִּ֣י דִבֶּר־סָ֠רָ֠ה עַל־יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֜ם הַמּוֹצִ֥יא אֶתְכֶ֣ם׀ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם וְהַפֹּֽדְךָ֙ מִבֵּ֣ית עֲבָדִ֔ים לְהַדִּֽיחֲךָ֙ מִן־הַדֶּ֔רֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֧ר צִוְּךָ֛ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ לָלֶ֣כֶת בָּ֑הּ וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ הָרָ֖ע מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃ {ס}
καὶ ὁ προφήτης ἐκεῖνος ἢ ὁ τὸ ἐνύπνιον ἐνυπνιαζόμενος ἐκεῖνος ἀποθανεῖται ἐλάλησεν γὰρ πλανῆσαί σε ἀπὸ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου τοῦ ἐξαγαγόντος σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου τοῦ λυτρωσαμένου σε ἐκ τῆς δουλείας ἐξῶσαί σε ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ ἧς ἐνετείλατό σοι κύριος ὁ θεός σου πορεύεσθαι ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ ἀφανιεῖς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ ὑμῶν αὐτῶν
Si tibi voluerit persuadere frater tuus filius matris tuae, aut filius tuus vel filia, sive uxor quae est in sinu tuo, aut amicus, quem diligis ut animam tuam, clam dicens : Eamus, et serviamus diis alienis, quos ignoras tu, et patres tui,
ወዝክቱሰ ፡ ነቢይ ፡ አው ፡ ሐላሜ ፡ ሕልም ፡ ለይሙት ፡ እስመ ፡ ነገረከ ፡ በዘ ፡ ያስሕተከ ፡ እምነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ዘአውፅአከ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወቤዘወከ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቅኔት ፡ ወእስመ ፡ ፈቀደ ፡ ያኅድገ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ እንተ ፡ አዘዘከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሑር ፡ ባቲ ፡ ወታሴስል ፡ ወታማስን ፡ እኩየ ፡ እምኔክሙ ።
If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying, “Let’s go and serve other gods”—which you have not known, you, nor your fathers;
13:7
כִּ֣י יְסִֽיתְךָ֡ אָחִ֣יךָ בֶן־אִ֠מֶּ֠ךָ אֽוֹ־בִנְךָ֨ אֽוֹ־בִתְּךָ֜ א֣וֹ׀ אֵ֣שֶׁת חֵיקֶ֗ךָ א֧וֹ רֵֽעֲךָ֛ אֲשֶׁ֥ר כְּנַפְשְׁךָ֖ בַּסֵּ֣תֶר לֵאמֹ֑ר נֵֽלְכָ֗ה וְנַֽעַבְדָה֙ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יָדַ֔עְתָּ אַתָּ֖ה וַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
ἐὰν δὲ παρακαλέσῃ σε ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἐκ πατρός σου ἢ ἐκ μητρός σου ἢ ὁ υἱός σου ἢ ἡ θυγάτηρ σου ἢ ἡ γυνὴ ἡ ἐν κόλπῳ σου ἢ ὁ φίλος ὁ ἴσος τῆς ψυχῆς σου λάθρᾳ λέγων βαδίσωμεν καὶ λατρεύσωμεν θεοῖς ἑτέροις οὓς οὐκ ᾔδεις σὺ καὶ οἱ πατέρες σου
cunctarum in circuitu gentium, quae juxta vel procul sunt, ab initio usque ad finem terrae,
ወለእመኒ ፡ አስተበቍዐከ ፡ እኁከ ፡ ዘእምነ ፡ አቡከ ፡ አው ፡ ዘእምነ ፡ እምከ ፡ አው ፡ ወልድከ ፡ አው ፡ ወለትከ ፡ አው ፡ ብእሲትከ ፡ እንተ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሕፅንከ ፡ አው ፡ ዓርክከ ፡ ዘከመ ፡ ነፍስከ ፡ ወይቤለከ ፡ በጽምሚት ፡ ነዐ ፡ ንሑር ፡ ወናምልክ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ ባዕድ ፡ ዘኢታአምር ፡ አንተ ፡ ወአበዊከ ፤
of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near to you, or far off from you, from the one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth—
13:8
מֵאֱלֹהֵ֣י הָֽעַמִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ סְבִיבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים אֵלֶ֔יךָ א֖וֹ הָרְחֹקִ֣ים מִמֶּ֑ךָּ מִקְצֵ֥ה הָאָ֖רֶץ וְעַד־קְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃
ἀπὸ τῶν θεῶν τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν περικύκλῳ ὑμῶν τῶν ἐγγιζόντων σοι ἢ τῶν μακρὰν ἀπὸ σοῦ ἀπ’ ἄκρου τῆς γῆς ἕως ἄκρου τῆς γῆς
non acquiescas ei, nec audias, neque parcat ei oculus tuus ut miserearis et occultes eum,
እምውስተ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ አውድክሙ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ቅሩብክሙ ፡ አው ፡ እምእለ ፡ ርኁቃን ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ እምጽንፈ ፡ ምድር ፡ እስከ ፡ ጽንፈ ፡ ምድር ፤
you shall not consent to him nor listen to him; neither shall your eye pity him, neither shall you spare, neither shall you conceal him;
13:9
לֹא־תֹאבֶ֣ה ל֔וֹ וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁמַ֖ע אֵלָ֑יו וְלֹא־תָח֤וֹס עֵֽינְךָ֙ עָלָ֔יו וְלֹֽא־תַחְמֹ֥ל וְלֹֽא־תְכַסֶּ֖ה עָלָֽיו׃
οὐ συνθελήσεις αὐτῷ καὶ οὐκ εἰσακούσῃ αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐ φείσεται ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἐπ’ αὐτῷ οὐκ ἐπιποθήσεις ἐπ’ αὐτῷ οὐδ’ οὐ μὴ σκεπάσῃς αὐτόν
sed statim interficies : sit primum manus tua super eum, et postea omnis populus mittat manum.
ኢትኅበር ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ወኢትስምዖ ፡ ወኢትምሐኮ ፡ ዐይንከ ፡ ወኢትምሐሮ ።
but you shall surely kill him. Your hand shall be first on him to put him to death, and afterwards the hands of all the people.
13:10
כִּ֤י הָרֹג֙ תַּֽהַרְגֶ֔נּוּ יָ֥דְךָ֛ תִּֽהְיֶה־בּ֥וֹ בָרִֽאשׁוֹנָ֖ה לַהֲמִית֑וֹ וְיַ֥ד כׇּל־הָעָ֖ם בָּאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃
ἀναγγέλλων ἀναγγελεῖς περὶ αὐτοῦ αἱ χεῖρές σου ἔσονται ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἐν πρώτοις ἀποκτεῖναι αὐτόν καὶ αἱ χεῖρες παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ ἐπ’ ἐσχάτῳ
Lapidibus obrutus necabitur : quia voluit te abstrahere a Domino Deo tuo, qui eduxit te de terra Aegypti, de domo servitutis :
አይድዕ ፡ ወንግር ፡ በእንቲአሁ ፡ እደዊከ ፡ ይቅድማ ፡ ቀቲሎቶ ፡ ወእምዝ ፡ እደወ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ይወግራሁ ፡ በእብን ።
You shall stone him to death with stones, because he has sought to draw you away from Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
13:11
וּסְקַלְתּ֥וֹ בָאֲבָנִ֖ים וָמֵ֑ת כִּ֣י בִקֵּ֗שׁ לְהַדִּֽיחֲךָ֙ מֵעַל֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ הַמּוֹצִיאֲךָ֛ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם מִבֵּ֥ית עֲבָדִֽים׃
καὶ λιθοβολήσουσιν αὐτὸν ἐν λίθοις καὶ ἀποθανεῖται ὅτι ἐζήτησεν ἀποστῆσαί σε ἀπὸ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου τοῦ ἐξαγαγόντος σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας
ut omnis Israël audiens timeat, et nequaquam ultra faciat quippiam hujus rei simile.
ወይቅትልዎ ፡ እስመ ፡ ፈቀደ ፡ ያርሕቀ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ዘአውፅአከ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ቅኔት ።
All Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall not do any more wickedness like this among you.
13:12
וְכׇ֨ל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יִשְׁמְע֖וּ וְיִֽרָא֑וּן וְלֹֽא־יוֹסִ֣פוּ לַעֲשׂ֗וֹת כַּדָּבָ֥ר הָרָ֛ע הַזֶּ֖ה בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃ {ס}
καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ἀκούσας φοβηθήσεται καὶ οὐ προσθήσουσιν ἔτι ποιῆσαι κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα τὸ πονηρὸν τοῦτο ἐν ὑμῖν
Si audieris in una urbium tuarum, quas Dominus Deus tuus dabit tibi ad habitandum, dicentes aliquos :
ወኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ሰሚዖ ፡ ይፍራህ ፡ ወኢይድግሙ ፡ እንከ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ እኩይ ፡ ውስቴትክሙ ።
If you hear about one of your cities, which Yahweh your God gives you to dwell there, that
13:13
כִּֽי־תִשְׁמַ֞ע בְּאַחַ֣ת עָרֶ֗יךָ אֲשֶׁר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֛ לָשֶׁ֥בֶת שָׁ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃
ἐὰν δὲ ἀκούσῃς ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεών σου ὧν κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι κατοικεῖν σε ἐκεῖ λεγόντων
Egressi sunt filii Belial de medio tui, et averterunt habitatores urbis suae, atque dixerunt : Eamus, et serviamus diis alienis quos ignoratis :
ወለእመኒ ፡ ሰማዕከ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አሐቲ ፡ እምነ ፡ አህጉሪከ ፡ ዘወሀበከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትንበር ፡ ህየ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብሉ ፤
certain wicked fellows have gone out from among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying, “Let’s go and serve other gods,” which you have not known,
13:14
יָצְא֞וּ אֲנָשִׁ֤ים בְּנֵֽי־בְלִיַּ֙עַל֙ מִקִּרְבֶּ֔ךָ וַיַּדִּ֛יחוּ אֶת־יֹשְׁבֵ֥י עִירָ֖ם לֵאמֹ֑ר נֵלְכָ֗ה וְנַעַבְדָ֛ה אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־יְדַעְתֶּֽם׃
ἐξήλθοσαν ἄνδρες παράνομοι ἐξ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπέστησαν πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν πόλιν αὐτῶν λέγοντες πορευθῶμεν καὶ λατρεύσωμεν θεοῖς ἑτέροις οὓς οὐκ ᾔδειτε
quaere sollicite et diligenter, rei veritate perspecta, si inveneris certum esse quod dicitur, et abominationem hanc opere perpetratam,
ወፅኡ ፡ ዕደው ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ እምኔነ ፡ ወአክሐድዎሙ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ ፡ ወይቤልዎሙ ፡ ንዑ ፡ ንሑር ፡ ወናምልክ ፡ ባዕደ ፡ አማልክተ ፡ ዘኢታአምሩ ፤
then you shall inquire, investigate, and ask diligently. Behold, if it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination was done among you,
13:15
וְדָרַשְׁתָּ֧ וְחָקַרְתָּ֛ וְשָׁאַלְתָּ֖ הֵיטֵ֑ב וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֱמֶת֙ נָכ֣וֹן הַדָּבָ֔ר נֶעֶשְׂתָ֛ה הַתּוֹעֵבָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃
καὶ ἐρωτήσεις καὶ ἐραυνήσεις σφόδρα καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀληθὴς σαφῶς ὁ λόγος γεγένηται τὸ βδέλυγμα τοῦτο ἐν ὑμῖν
statim percuties habitatores urbis illius in ore gladii, et delebis eam ac omnia quae in illa sunt, usque ad pecora.
ወትሴአል ፡ ወተሐትት ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ወእምከመ ፡ አማነ ፡ ኮነ ፡ ወጥዩቀ ፡ ነገሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኮነ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውስቴትክሙ ፤
you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, with all that is therein and its livestock, with the edge of the sword.
13:16
הַכֵּ֣ה תַכֶּ֗ה אֶת־יֹ֥שְׁבֵ֛י הָעִ֥יר הַהִ֖וא לְפִי־חָ֑רֶב הַחֲרֵ֨ם אֹתָ֧הּ וְאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֛הּ וְאֶת־בְּהֶמְתָּ֖הּ לְפִי־חָֽרֶב׃
ἀναιρῶν ἀνελεῖς πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν τῇ πόλει ἐκείνῃ ἐν φόνῳ μαχαίρας ἀναθέματι ἀναθεματιεῖτε αὐτὴν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτῇ
Quidquid etiam supellectilis fuerit, congregabis in medio platearum ejus, et cum ipsa civitate succendes, ita ut universa consumas Domino Deo tuo, et sit tumulus sempiternus. Non aedificabitur amplius,
ቀቲለ ፡ ትቀትሉ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ህገር ፡ በኀፂን ፡ ወረጊመ ፡ ትረግምዋ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ውስቴታ ።
You shall gather all its plunder into the middle of its street, and shall burn with fire the city, with all of its plunder, to Yahweh your God. It shall be a heap forever. It shall not be built again.
13:17
וְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׁלָלָ֗הּ תִּקְבֹּץ֮ אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ רְחֹבָהּ֒ וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֨ בָאֵ֜שׁ אֶת־הָעִ֤יר וְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׁלָלָהּ֙ כָּלִ֔יל לַיהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וְהָיְתָה֙ תֵּ֣ל עוֹלָ֔ם לֹ֥א תִבָּנֶ֖ה עֽוֹד׃
καὶ πάντα τὰ σκῦλα αὐτῆς συνάξεις εἰς τὰς διόδους αὐτῆς καὶ ἐμπρήσεις τὴν πόλιν ἐν πυρὶ καὶ πάντα τὰ σκῦλα αὐτῆς πανδημεὶ ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ ἔσται ἀοίκητος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα οὐκ ἀνοικοδομηθήσεται ἔτι
et non adhaerebit de illo anathemate quidquam in manu tua : ut avertatur Dominus ab ira furoris sui, et misereatur tui, multiplicetque te sicut juravit patribus tuis,
ወለኵሉ ፡ ንዋያ ፡ ታስተጋብእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍናዊሃ ፡ ወታውዒ ፡ ሀገራ ፡ በእሳት ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ንዋያ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ሀገር ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ትገብራ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘይነብር ፡ ውስቴታ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወኢትትነደቅ ።
Nothing of the devoted thing shall cling to your hand, that Yahweh may turn from the fierceness of his anger and show you mercy, and have compassion on you and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers,
13:18
וְלֹֽא־יִדְבַּ֧ק בְּיָדְךָ֛ מְא֖וּמָה מִן־הַחֵ֑רֶם לְמַ֩עַן֩ יָשׁ֨וּב יְהֹוָ֜ה מֵחֲר֣וֹן אַפּ֗וֹ וְנָֽתַן־לְךָ֤ רַחֲמִים֙ וְרִֽחַמְךָ֣ וְהִרְבֶּ֔ךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
οὐ προσκολληθήσεται ἐν τῇ χειρί σου οὐδὲν ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀναθέματος ἵνα ἀποστραφῇ κύριος ἀπὸ θυμοῦ τῆς ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ δώσει σοι ἔλεος καὶ ἐλεήσει σε καὶ πληθυνεῖ σε ὃν τρόπον ὤμοσεν κύριος τοῖς πατράσιν σου
quando audieris vocem Domini Dei tui custodiens omnia praecepta ejus, quae ego praecipio tibi hodie, ut facias quod placitum est in conspectu Domini Dei tui.
ወኢትግስስ ፡ በእዴከ ፡ ምንተኒ ፡ ዘርጉም ፡ እምነ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሚጥ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መዐቶ ፡ ወየሀብከ ፡ ምሕረተ ፡ ወይምሐርከ ፡ ወያስተባዝኅከ ፡ በከመ ፡ መሐለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአበዊከ ፤ (ከመ ፡) ለእመ ፡ ሰሚዐ ፡ ሰማዕከ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወዐቀብከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ እኤዝዘከ ፡ ዮም ፡ ወገበርከ ፡ ዘሠናይ ፡ ወዘአደም ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ።
when you listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to keep all his commandments which I command you today, to do that which is right in Yahweh your God’s eyes.
13:19
כִּ֣י תִשְׁמַ֗ע בְּקוֹל֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לִשְׁמֹר֙ אֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ הַיָּשָׁ֔ר בְּעֵינֵ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ {ס}
ἐὰν ἀκούσῃς τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου φυλάσσειν πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ ὅσας ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ποιεῖν τὸ καλὸν καὶ τὸ ἀρεστὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου

when you listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to keep all his commandments which I command you today, to do that which is right in Yahweh your God’s eyes.
