15:1
אָ֣ז יָשִֽׁיר־מֹשֶׁה֩ וּבְנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶת־הַשִּׁירָ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ לֵאמֹ֑ר אָשִׁ֤ירָה לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כִּֽי־גָאֹ֣ה גָּאָ֔ה ס֥וּס וְרֹכְב֖וֹ רָמָ֥ה בַיָּֽם׃
τότε ᾖσεν Μωυσῆς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὴν ᾠδὴν ταύτην τῷ θεῷ καὶ εἶπαν λέγοντες ᾄσωμεν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐνδόξως γὰρ δεδόξασται ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν
Tunc cecinit Moyses et filii Israël carmen hoc Domino, et dixerunt : Cantemus Domino : gloriose enim magnificatus est, equum et ascensorem dejecit in mare.
ወባረከ ፡ ዘቡራኬ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በፍትሐተ ፡ ቃል ፡ ንባርኮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ክበር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወሎቱ ፡ ይደሉ ፡ ስባሔ ፤ ፈረሰ ፡ ወመስተፅዕኖ ፡ ወረወ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ።
Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said, “I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.
15:2
עׇזִּ֤י וְזִמְרָת֙ יָ֔הּ וַֽיְהִי־לִ֖י לִֽישׁוּעָ֑ה זֶ֤ה אֵלִי֙ וְאַנְוֵ֔הוּ אֱלֹהֵ֥י אָבִ֖י וַאֲרֹמְמֶֽנְהוּ׃
βοηθὸς καὶ σκεπαστὴς ἐγένετό μοι εἰς σωτηρίαν οὗτός μου θεός καὶ δοξάσω αὐτόν θεὸς τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ὑψώσω αὐτόν
Fortitudo mea, et laus mea Dominus, et factus est mihi in salutem : iste Deus meus, et glorificabo eum : Deus patris mei, et exaltabo eum.
ረዳኢየ ፡ ወመ[ሰው]ረ ፡ ኮነኒ ፡ ለአድኅኖትየ ፤ ውእቱ ፡ አምለኪየ ፡ ወእሴብሖ ፤ አምላኩ ፡ ልአቡየ ፡ ወአሌዕሎ ።
Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
15:3
יְהֹוָ֖ה אִ֣ישׁ מִלְחָמָ֑ה יְהֹוָ֖ה שְׁמֽוֹ׃
κύριος συντρίβων πολέμους κύριος ὄνομα αὐτῷ
Dominus quasi vir pugnator, Omnipotens nomen ejus,
እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይቀጠቅጥ ፡ ፀብአ ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ስሙ ።
Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.
15:4
מַרְכְּבֹ֥ת פַּרְעֹ֛ה וְחֵיל֖וֹ יָרָ֣ה בַיָּ֑ם וּמִבְחַ֥ר שָֽׁלִשָׁ֖יו טֻבְּע֥וּ בְיַם־סֽוּף׃
ἅρματα Φαραω καὶ τὴν δύναμιν αὐτοῦ ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν ἐπιλέκτους ἀναβάτας τριστάτας κατεπόντισεν ἐν ἐρυθρᾷ θαλάσσῃ
currus Pharaonis et exercitum ejus projecit in mare : electi principes ejus submersi sunt in mari Rubro.
ሰረገላቲሁ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ወሰራዊቶ ፡ ወረወ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ኅሩያነ ፡ ወመስተጽዕናነ ፡ በመሥልስት ፡ ወተሰጥሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ ኤርትራ ።
He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.
15:5
תְּהֹמֹ֖ת יְכַסְיֻ֑מוּ יָרְד֥וּ בִמְצוֹלֹ֖ת כְּמוֹ־אָֽבֶן׃
πόντῳ ἐκάλυψεν αὐτούς κατέδυσαν εἰς βυθὸν ὡσεὶ λίθος
Abyssi operuerunt eos ; descenderunt in profundum quasi lapis.
ወደፈኖሙ ፡ ማዕበል ፡ ወተሰጥሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቀላይ ፡ ከመ ፡ እብን ።
The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.
15:6
יְמִֽינְךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֔ה נֶאְדָּרִ֖י בַּכֹּ֑חַ יְמִֽינְךָ֥ יְהֹוָ֖ה תִּרְעַ֥ץ אוֹיֵֽב׃
ἡ δεξιά σου κύριε δεδόξασται ἐν ἰσχύι ἡ δεξιά σου χείρ κύριε ἔθραυσεν ἐχθρούς
Dextera tua, Domine, magnificata est in fortitudine : dextera tua, Domine, percussit inimicum.
የማንከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ተሰብሐ ፡ በኀይል ፤ የማነ ፡ እዴከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ሠረወቶሙ ፡ ለፀር ።
Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.
15:7
וּבְרֹ֥ב גְּאוֹנְךָ֖ תַּהֲרֹ֣ס קָמֶ֑יךָ תְּשַׁלַּח֙ חֲרֹ֣נְךָ֔ יֹאכְלֵ֖מוֹ כַּקַּֽשׁ׃
καὶ τῷ πλήθει τῆς δόξης σου συνέτριψας τοὺς ὑπεναντίους ἀπέστειλας τὴν ὀργήν σου καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτοὺς ὡς καλάμην
Et in multitudine gloriae tuae deposuisti adversarios tuos : misisti iram tuam, quae devoravit eos sicut stipulam.
ወበብዝኀ ፡ ስብሐቲከ ፡ ቀጥቀጥኮሙ ፡ ለጸላዕትከ ፤ ፈነውከ ፡ መዐተከ ፡ ወበልዖሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ብርዕ ።
In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.
15:8
וּבְר֤וּחַ אַפֶּ֙יךָ֙ נֶ֣עֶרְמוּ מַ֔יִם נִצְּב֥וּ כְמוֹ־נֵ֖ד נֹזְלִ֑ים קָֽפְא֥וּ תְהֹמֹ֖ת בְּלֶב־יָֽם׃
καὶ διὰ πνεύματος τοῦ θυμοῦ σου διέστη τὸ ὕδωρ ἐπάγη ὡσεὶ τεῖχος τὰ ὕδατα ἐπάγη τὰ κύματα ἐν μέσῳ τῆς θαλάσσης
Et in spiritu furoris tui congregatae sunt aquae : stetit unda fluens, congregata sunt abyssi in medio mari.
ወበመንፈሰ ፡ መዐትከ ፡ ቆመ ፡ ማይ ፤ ወጠግአ ፡ ከመ ፡ እረፍት ፡ ማይ ፤ ወረግአ ፡ ማዕበል ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ባሕር ።
With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.
15:9
אָמַ֥ר אוֹיֵ֛ב אֶרְדֹּ֥ף אַשִּׂ֖יג אֲחַלֵּ֣ק שָׁלָ֑ל תִּמְלָאֵ֣מוֹ נַפְשִׁ֔י אָרִ֣יק חַרְבִּ֔י תּוֹרִישֵׁ֖מוֹ יָדִֽי׃
εἶπεν ὁ ἐχθρός διώξας καταλήμψομαι μεριῶ σκῦλα ἐμπλήσω ψυχήν μου ἀνελῶ τῇ μαχαίρῃ μου κυριεύσει ἡ χείρ μου
Dixit inimicus : Persequar et comprehendam, dividam spolia, implebitur anima mea : evaginabo gladium meum, interficiet eos manus mea.
ወይቤ ፡ ጸላኢ ፡ ዴጊንየ ፡ እእኅዞሙ ፤ እትካፈል ፡ ምህርካ ፡ ወአጸግባ ፡ ለነፍስየ ፤ እቀትል ፡ በመጥባሕትየ ፡ ወእኴንን ፡ በእዴየ ።
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’
15:10
נָשַׁ֥פְתָּ בְרוּחֲךָ֖ כִּסָּ֣מוֹ יָ֑ם צָֽלְלוּ֙ כַּֽעוֹפֶ֔רֶת בְּמַ֖יִם אַדִּירִֽים׃
ἀπέστειλας τὸ πνεῦμά σου ἐκάλυψεν αὐτοὺς θάλασσα ἔδυσαν ὡσεὶ μόλιβος ἐν ὕδατι σφοδρῷ
Flavit spiritus tuus, et operuit eos mare : submersi sunt quasi plumbum in aquis vehementibus.
ፈነውከ ፡ መንፈሰከ ፡ ወደፈኖሙ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወተሠጥሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዐረር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ብዙኅ ።
You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
15:11
מִֽי־כָמֹ֤כָה בָּֽאֵלִם֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה מִ֥י כָּמֹ֖כָה נֶאְדָּ֣ר בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ נוֹרָ֥א תְהִלֹּ֖ת עֹ֥שֵׂה פֶֽלֶא׃
τίς ὅμοιός σοι ἐν θεοῖς κύριε τίς ὅμοιός σοι δεδοξασμένος ἐν ἁγίοις θαυμαστὸς ἐν δόξαις ποιῶν τέρατα
Quis similis tui in fortibus, Domine ? quis similis tui, magnificus in sanctitate, terribilis atque laudabilis, faciens mirabilia ?
መኑ ፡ ይመስለከ ፡ እምነ ፡ አማልክት ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ወመኑ ፡ ከማከ ፡ ስቡሕ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ቅዱሳን ፤ መንክር ፡ ስብሐቲከ ፡ ወትገብር ፡ መድምመ ።
Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
15:12
נָטִ֙יתָ֙ יְמִ֣ינְךָ֔ תִּבְלָעֵ֖מוֹ אָֽרֶץ׃
ἐξέτεινας τὴν δεξιάν σου κατέπιεν αὐτοὺς γῆ
Extendisti manum tuam, et devoravit eos terra.
ሰፋሕከ ፡ የማነከ ፡ ወውሕጠቶሙ ፡ ምደር ።
You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.
15:13
נָחִ֥יתָ בְחַסְדְּךָ֖ עַם־ז֣וּ גָּאָ֑לְתָּ נֵהַ֥לְתָּ בְעׇזְּךָ֖ אֶל־נְוֵ֥ה קׇדְשֶֽׁךָ׃
ὡδήγησας τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου τὸν λαόν σου τοῦτον ὃν ἐλυτρώσω παρεκάλεσας τῇ ἰσχύι σου εἰς κατάλυμα ἅγιόν σου
Dux fuisti in misericordia tua populo quem redemisti : et portasti eum in fortitudine tua, ad habitaculum sanctum tuum.
ወመራሕኮሙ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፡ እለ ፡ ቤዘውከ ፤ ወአስተፈሣሕከ ፡ በኀይልከ ፡ ተረፈ ፡ መቅደስከ ።
“You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.
15:14
שָֽׁמְע֥וּ עַמִּ֖ים יִרְגָּז֑וּן חִ֣יל אָחַ֔ז יֹשְׁבֵ֖י פְּלָֽשֶׁת׃
ἤκουσαν ἔθνη καὶ ὠργίσθησαν ὠδῖνες ἔλαβον κατοικοῦντας Φυλιστιιμ
Ascenderunt populi, et irati sunt : dolores obtinuerunt habitatores Philisthiim.
ሰምዑ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወተምዕዑ ፤ ወአኀዞሙ ፡ ማሕምም ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ፍልስጥኤም ።
The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.
15:15
אָ֤ז נִבְהֲלוּ֙ אַלּוּפֵ֣י אֱד֔וֹם אֵילֵ֣י מוֹאָ֔ב יֹֽאחֲזֵ֖מוֹ רָ֑עַד נָמֹ֕גוּ כֹּ֖ל יֹשְׁבֵ֥י כְנָֽעַן׃
τότε ἔσπευσαν ἡγεμόνες Εδωμ καὶ ἄρχοντες Μωαβιτῶν ἔλαβεν αὐτοὺς τρόμος ἐτάκησαν πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες Χανααν
Tunc conturbati sunt principes Edom, robustos Moab obtinuit tremor : obriguerunt omnes habitatores Chanaan.
ወይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ መምዑ ፡ መሳፍንተ ፡ ኤዶም ፤ ወአኀዞሙ ፡ ረዓድ ፡ ለመላእክተ ፡ ሞአብ ፤ ወተመስው ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ከናአን ።
Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.
15:16
תִּפֹּ֨ל עֲלֵיהֶ֤ם אֵימָ֙תָה֙ וָפַ֔חַד בִּגְדֹ֥ל זְרוֹעֲךָ֖ יִדְּמ֣וּ כָּאָ֑בֶן עַד־יַעֲבֹ֤ר עַמְּךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה עַֽד־יַעֲבֹ֖ר עַם־ז֥וּ קָנִֽיתָ׃
ἐπιπέσοι ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς φόβος καὶ τρόμος μεγέθει βραχίονός σου ἀπολιθωθήτωσαν ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ λαός σου κύριε ἕως ἂν παρέλθῃ ὁ λαός σου οὗτος ὃν ἐκτήσω
Irruat super eos formido et pavor, in magnitudine brachii tui : fiant immobiles quasi lapis, donec pertranseat populus tuus, Domine, donec pertranseat populus tuus iste, quem possedisti.
ወአኀዞሙ ፡ ፍርሀት ፡ ወረዓድ ፤ ኀይለ ፡ መዝራዕትከ ፡ ጸንዐ ፡ እምኰኵሕ ፤ እስከ ፡ የኀልፍ ፡ ሕዝ[ብ]ከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ እስከ ፡ የኀልፍ ፡ ሕዝ[ብ]ከ ፤ ዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ዘቤዞከ ።
Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.
15:17
תְּבִאֵ֗מוֹ וְתִטָּעֵ֙מוֹ֙ בְּהַ֣ר נַחֲלָֽתְךָ֔ מָכ֧וֹן לְשִׁבְתְּךָ֛ פָּעַ֖לְתָּ יְהֹוָ֑ה מִקְּדָ֕שׁ אֲדֹנָ֖י כּוֹנְנ֥וּ יָדֶֽיךָ׃
εἰσαγαγὼν καταφύτευσον αὐτοὺς εἰς ὄρος κληρονομίας σου εἰς ἕτοιμον κατοικητήριόν σου ὃ κατειργάσω κύριε ἁγίασμα κύριε ὃ ἡτοίμασαν αἱ χεῖρές σου
Introduces eos, et plantabis in monte haereditatis tuae, firmissimo habitaculo tuo quod operatus es, Domine : sanctuarium tuum, Domine, quod firmaverunt manus tuae.
ወወሰድኮሙ ፡ [ወተከልኮሙ ፡] ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ መቅደስከ ፤ ውስተ ፡ ድልው ፡ ማኅደርከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ዘገበርከ ፤ ቅዱስ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ ዘአስተደለወ ፡ እደዊከ ።
You will bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in: the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.
15:18
יְהֹוָ֥ה׀יִמְלֹ֖ךְ לְעֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃
κύριος βασιλεύων τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ἐπ’ αἰῶνα καὶ ἔτι
Dominus regnabit in aeternum et ultra.
ይነግሥ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፡ ወዓዲ ።
Yahweh will reign forever and ever.”
15:19
כִּ֣י בָא֩ ס֨וּס פַּרְעֹ֜ה בְּרִכְבּ֤וֹ וּבְפָרָשָׁיו֙ בַּיָּ֔ם וַיָּ֧שֶׁב יְהֹוָ֛ה עֲלֵהֶ֖ם אֶת־מֵ֣י הַיָּ֑ם וּבְנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל הָלְכ֥וּ בַיַּבָּשָׁ֖ה בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיָּֽם׃ {פ}
ὅτι εἰσῆλθεν ἵππος Φαραω σὺν ἅρμασιν καὶ ἀναβάταις εἰς θάλασσαν καὶ ἐπήγαγεν ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς κύριος τὸ ὕδωρ τῆς θαλάσσης οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐπορεύθησαν διὰ ξηρᾶς ἐν μέσῳ τῆς θαλάσσης
Ingressus est enim eques Pharao cum curribus et equitibus ejus in mare : et reduxit super eos Dominus aquas maris : filii autem Israël ambulaverunt per siccum in medio ejus.
እስመ ፡ ቦአ ፡ ሰረገላተ ፡ ፈርዖን ፡ ምስለ ፡ አፍራሲሁ ፡ ወመስተጽዕናን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወአስተጋብአ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ማየ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤልሰ ፡ ኀለፉ ፡ እንተ ፡ የብስ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ባሕር ።
For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Yahweh brought back the waters of the sea on them; but the children of Israel walked on dry land in the middle of the sea.
15:20
וַתִּקַּח֩ מִרְיָ֨ם הַנְּבִיאָ֜ה אֲח֧וֹת אַהֲרֹ֛ן אֶת־הַתֹּ֖ף בְּיָדָ֑הּ וַתֵּצֶ֤אןָ כׇֽל־הַנָּשִׁים֙ אַחֲרֶ֔יהָ בְּתֻפִּ֖ים וּבִמְחֹלֹֽת׃
λαβοῦσα δὲ Μαριαμ ἡ προφῆτις ἡ ἀδελφὴ Ααρων τὸ τύμπανον ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐξήλθοσαν πᾶσαι αἱ γυναῖκες ὀπίσω αὐτῆς μετὰ τυμπάνων καὶ χορῶν
Sumpsit ergo Maria prophetissa, soror Aaron, tympanum in manu sua : egressaeque sunt omnes mulieres post eam cum tympanis et choris,
ወነሥአት ፡ ማርያ ፡ ነቢያዊት ፡ እኅቱ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ከበሮ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴሃ ፡ ወወፅኣ ፡ ኵሎን ፡ አንስት ፡ ድኅሬሃ ፡ በከበሮ ፡ ወቡራኬ ።
Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.
15:21
וַתַּ֥עַן לָהֶ֖ם מִרְיָ֑ם שִׁ֤ירוּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כִּֽי־גָאֹ֣ה גָּאָ֔ה ס֥וּס וְרֹכְב֖וֹ רָמָ֥ה בַיָּֽם׃ {ס}
ἐξῆρχεν δὲ αὐτῶν Μαριαμ λέγουσα ᾄσωμεν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐνδόξως γὰρ δεδόξασται ἵππον καὶ ἀναβάτην ἔρριψεν εἰς θάλασσαν
quibus praecinebat, dicens : Cantemus Domino, gloriose enim magnificatus est : equum et ascensorem ejus dejecit in mare.
ወቀደመት ፡ ማርይ ፡ ወትቤ ፡ ንባርክ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይትነከር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ይትነከር ፤ ፈረሰ ፡ ወዘይፄዐን ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ወረዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ።
Miriam answered them, “Sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.”
15:22
וַיַּסַּ֨ע מֹשֶׁ֤ה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִיַּם־ס֔וּף וַיֵּצְא֖וּ אֶל־מִדְבַּר־שׁ֑וּר וַיֵּלְכ֧וּ שְׁלֹֽשֶׁת־יָמִ֛ים בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר וְלֹא־מָ֥צְאוּ מָֽיִם׃
ἐξῆρεν δὲ Μωυσῆς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἐρυθρᾶς καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Σουρ καὶ ἐπορεύοντο τρεῖς ἡμέρας ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ οὐχ ηὕρισκον ὕδωρ ὥστε πιεῖν
Tulit autem Moyses Israël de mari Rubro, et egressi sunt in desertum Sur : ambulaveruntque tribus diebus per solitudinem, et non inveniebant aquam.
ወአውጽአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምባሕር ፡ ዕሙቅ ፡ ወወሰዶሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ዘሱር ፡ ወግዕዙ ፡ ሠሉሰ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ገዳመ ፡ ወኢረከቡ ፡ ማየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይስተዩ ፡ በምራ ።
Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
15:23
וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ מָרָ֔תָה וְלֹ֣א יָֽכְל֗וּ לִשְׁתֹּ֥ת מַ֙יִם֙ מִמָּרָ֔ה כִּ֥י מָרִ֖ים הֵ֑ם עַל־כֵּ֥ן קָרָֽא־שְׁמָ֖הּ מָרָֽה׃
ἦλθον δὲ εἰς Μερρα καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο πιεῖν ἐκ Μερρας πικρὸν γὰρ ἦν διὰ τοῦτο ἐπωνομάσθη τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου πικρία
Et venerunt in Mara, nec poterant bibere aquas de Mara, eo quod essent amarae : unde et congruum loco nomen imposuit, vocans illum Mara, id est, amaritudinem.
ወስእኑ ፡ ሰትየ ፡ እምራ ፡ እስመ ፡ መሪር ፡ ማዩ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ተሰምየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ፍና ፡ መሪር ።
When they came to Marah, they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah.
15:24
וַיִּלֹּ֧נוּ הָעָ֛ם עַל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹ֖ר מַה־נִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃
καὶ διεγόγγυζεν ὁ λαὸς ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν λέγοντες τί πιόμεθα
Et murmuravit populus contra Moysen, dicens : Quid bibemus ?
ወአንጐርጐሩ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ ምንተ ፡ ንሰቲ ።
The people murmured against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”
15:25
וַיִּצְעַ֣ק אֶל־יְהֹוָ֗ה וַיּוֹרֵ֤הוּ יְהֹוָה֙ עֵ֔ץ וַיַּשְׁלֵךְ֙ אֶל־הַמַּ֔יִם וַֽיִּמְתְּק֖וּ הַמָּ֑יִם שָׁ֣ם שָׂ֥ם ל֛וֹ חֹ֥ק וּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט וְשָׁ֥ם נִסָּֽהוּ׃
ἐβόησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ κύριος ξύλον καὶ ἐνέβαλεν αὐτὸ εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ καὶ ἐγλυκάνθη τὸ ὕδωρ ἐκεῖ ἔθετο αὐτῷ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίσεις καὶ ἐκεῖ ἐπείρασεν αὐτὸν
At ille clamavit ad Dominum, qui ostendit ei lignum : quod cum misisset in aquas, in dulcedinem versae sunt : ibi constituit ei praecepta, atque judicia, et ibi tentavit eum,
ወአውየወ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ፈጣሪ ፡ ወአርአዮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ወወደዮ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወጥዕመ ፡ ማዩ ፤ ወበህየ ፡ አርአዮ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ወፍትሐ ፡ ወአ[መከሮ ።
Then he cried to Yahweh. Yahweh showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them.
15:26
וַיֹּ֩אמֶר֩ אִם־שָׁמ֨וֹעַ תִּשְׁמַ֜ע לְק֣וֹל׀ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ וְהַיָּשָׁ֤ר בְּעֵינָיו֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה וְהַֽאֲזַנְתָּ֙ לְמִצְוֺתָ֔יו וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֖ כׇּל־חֻקָּ֑יו כׇּֽל־הַמַּחֲלָ֞ה אֲשֶׁר־שַׂ֤מְתִּי בְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙ לֹא־אָשִׂ֣ים עָלֶ֔יךָ כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה רֹפְאֶֽךָ׃ {ס}
καὶ εἶπεν ἐὰν ἀκοῇ ἀκούσῃς τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ τὰ ἀρεστὰ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ ποιήσῃς καὶ ἐνωτίσῃ ταῖς ἐντολαῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ φυλάξῃς πάντα τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ πᾶσαν νόσον ἣν ἐπήγαγον τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις οὐκ ἐπάξω ἐπὶ σέ ἐγὼ γάρ εἰμι κύριος ὁ ἰώμενός σε
dicens : Si audieris vocem Domini Dei tui, et quod rectum est coram eo feceris, et obedieris mandatis ejus, custodierisque omnia praecepta illius, cunctum languorem, quem posui in Aegypto, non inducam super te : ego enim Dominus sanator tuus.
ወ]ይቤ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ትሰምዕ ፡ ወታጸምእ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘፈጣሪከ ፡ ወጽድቀ ፡ ትገብር ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ ወታጸምእ ፡ ትእዛዘ ፡ ዘአዘዘከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ደዌ ፡ ዘአምጻእኩ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ [ኢይ]ፌኑ ፡ ላዕሌከ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መሓኪከ ።
He said, “If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.”
15:27
וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ אֵילִ֔מָה וְשָׁ֗ם שְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵ֛ה עֵינֹ֥ת מַ֖יִם וְשִׁבְעִ֣ים תְּמָרִ֑ים וַיַּחֲנוּ־שָׁ֖ם עַל־הַמָּֽיִם׃
καὶ ἤλθοσαν εἰς Αιλιμ καὶ ἦσαν ἐκεῖ δώδεκα πηγαὶ ὑδάτων καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα στελέχη φοινίκων παρενέβαλον δὲ ἐκεῖ παρὰ τὰ ὕδατα
Venerunt autem in Elim filii Israël, ubi erant duodecim fontes aquarum, et septuaginta palmae : et castrametati sunt juxta aquas.
ወበጽሑ ፡ ኤሌም ፡ ወሀለው ፡ ህየ ፡ ፲፪ዐይ[ን] ፡ ዘቦ ፡ ዐዘቅተ ፡ ወ፸ጸበራተ ፡ ተመርት ፡ ጠቃ ፡ ማያት ፡ በቀልቶን ።
They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees. They encamped there by the waters.
