28:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתָּ֡ה הַקְרֵ֣ב אֵלֶ֩יךָ֩ אֶת ־אַהֲרֹ֨ן אָחִ֜יךָ וְאֶת ־בָּנָ֣יו אִתּ֗וֹ מִתּ֛וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְכַהֲנוֹ ־לִ֑י אַהֲרֹ֕ן נָדָ֧ב וַאֲבִיה֛וּא אֶלְעָזָ֥ר וְאִיתָמָ֖ר בְּנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹֽן ׃
καὶ σὺ προσαγάγου πρὸς σεαυτὸν τόν τε Ααρων τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἱερατεύειν μοι Ααρων καὶ Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ υἱοὺς Ααρων
Applica quoque ad te Aaron fratrem tuum cum filiis suis de medio filiorum Israël , ut sacerdotio fungantur mihi : Aaron , Nadab , et Abiu , Eleazar , et Ithamar .
ወአቀርብ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ አሮንሃ ፡ እኋከ ፡ ወውሉዶ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሡዑ ፡ ሊተ ፡ አሮን ፡ ወናደብ ፡ ወአብዩድ ፡ [ወ ]እልዓዛር ፡ ወይታማር ።
“Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, with Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
28:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ בִגְדֵי ־קֹ֖דֶשׁ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן אָחִ֑יךָ לְכָב֖וֹד וּלְתִפְאָֽרֶת ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις στολὴν ἁγίαν Ααρων τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου εἰς τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν
Faciesque vestem sanctam Aaron fratri tuo in gloriam et decorem .
ወትገብር ፡ ዐራዘ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ ለክብር ፡ ወለሡራሔ ።
You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
28:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתָּ֗ה תְּדַבֵּר֙ אֶל ־כׇּל ־חַכְמֵי ־לֵ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִלֵּאתִ֖יו ר֣וּחַ חׇכְמָ֑ה וְעָשׂ֞וּ אֶת ־בִּגְדֵ֧י אַהֲרֹ֛ן לְקַדְּשׁ֖וֹ לְכַהֲנוֹ ־לִֽי ׃
καὶ σὺ λάλησον πᾶσι τοῖς σοφοῖς τῇ διανοίᾳ οὓς ἐνέπλησα πνεύματος αἰσθήσεως καὶ ποιήσουσιν τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν Ααρων εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐν ᾗ ἱερατεύσει μοι
Et loqueris cunctis sapientibus corde quos replevi spiritu prudentiae , ut faciant vestes Aaron , in quibus sanctificatus ministret mihi .
፡ ወአንተ ፡ አይድዕ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ጠቢባን ፡ በልብ ፡ እለ ፡ መላእኩ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ ዘጥበብ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ለዐራዘ ፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ምቅዳስ ፡ በዘቦ ፡ ይቄድስ ፡ ኪያየ ።
You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
28:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֨לֶּה הַבְּגָדִ֜ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַעֲשׂ֗וּ חֹ֤שֶׁן וְאֵפוֹד֙ וּמְעִ֔יל וּכְתֹ֥נֶת תַּשְׁבֵּ֖ץ מִצְנֶ֣פֶת וְאַבְנֵ֑ט וְעָשׂ֨וּ בִגְדֵי ־קֹ֜דֶשׁ לְאַהֲרֹ֥ן אָחִ֛יךָ וּלְבָנָ֖יו לְכַהֲנוֹ ־לִֽי ׃
καὶ αὗται αἱ στολαί ἃς ποιήσουσιν τὸ περιστήθιον καὶ τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸν ποδήρη καὶ χιτῶνα κοσυμβωτὸν καὶ κίδαριν καὶ ζώνην καὶ ποιήσουσιν στολὰς ἁγίας Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἱερατεύειν μοι
Haec autem erunt vestimenta quae faciet : rationale et superhumerale , tunicam et lineam strictam , cidarim et balteum . Facient vestimenta sancta fratri tuo Aaron et filiis ejus , ut sacerdotio fungantur mihi .
ወዝውእቱ ፡ አልባስ ፡ ዘይገብሩ ፡ መልበስተ ፡ እንግድዓ ፡ ወትብልያ ፡ ዘመቅፈርት ፡ ወጶዴሬ ፡ ወመልበስ [ተ ] ፡ ቍጽሮ ፡ ድርማንቀ ፡ ዘብእሲ ፡ ዘሐቌ ፡ ወቅናተ ፡ ወትገብሩ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ ወለደቁ ፡ በዘይሠውዑ ፡ ሊተ ።
These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a fitted tunic, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
28:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהֵם֙ יִקְח֣וּ אֶת ־הַזָּהָ֔ב וְאֶת ־הַתְּכֵ֖לֶת וְאֶת ־הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֑ן וְאֶת ־תּוֹלַ֥עַת הַשָּׁנִ֖י וְאֶת ־הַשֵּֽׁשׁ ׃ {פ}
καὶ αὐτοὶ λήμψονται τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὴν ὑάκινθον καὶ τὴν πορφύραν καὶ τὸ κόκκινον καὶ τὴν βύσσον
Accipientque aurum , et hyacinthum , et purpuram , coccumque bis tinctum , et byssum .
ወእሙንቱ ፡ ይነሥኡ ፡ (ሊተ ፡) ወርቀ ፡ ወያክንተ ፡ ወሜላተ ፡ ወነተ ፡ ወቢሶሰ ።
They shall use the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.
28:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשׂ֖וּ אֶת ־הָאֵפֹ֑ד זָ֠הָ֠ב תְּכֵ֨לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֜ן תּוֹלַ֧עַת שָׁנִ֛י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מׇשְׁזָ֖ר מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵֽׁב ׃
καὶ ποιήσουσιν τὴν ἐπωμίδα ἐκ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἔργον ὑφαντὸν ποικιλτοῦ
Facient autem superhumerale de auro et hyacintho et purpura , coccoque bis tincto , et bysso retorta , opere polymito .
ወይገብሩ ፡ ትብሌሁ ፡ እምብሶስ ፡ ክዑብ ፡ ግብሩ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ማእነም ፡ ብዑድ ።
“They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.
28:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ שְׁתֵּ֧י כְתֵפֹ֣ת חֹֽבְרֹ֗ת יִֽהְיֶה ־לּ֛וֹ אֶל ־שְׁנֵ֥י קְצוֹתָ֖יו וְחֻבָּֽר ׃
δύο ἐπωμίδες συνέχουσαι ἔσονται αὐτῷ ἑτέρα τὴν ἑτέραν ἐπὶ τοῖς δυσὶ μέρεσιν ἐξηρτημέναι
Duas oras junctas habebit in utroque latere summitatum , ut in unum redeant .
ክልኤተ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ኤጴሙስ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትላጸቃ ፡ በበይኖን ፡ አሐቲ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አሐቲ ፡ እምክልኤሆሙ ፡ ገጽ ፡ ግብረቶን ።
It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.
28:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְחֵ֤שֶׁב אֲפֻדָּתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלָ֔יו כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֖הוּ מִמֶּ֣נּוּ יִהְיֶ֑ה זָהָ֗ב תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מׇשְׁזָֽר ׃
καὶ τὸ ὕφασμα τῶν ἐπωμίδων ὅ ἐστιν ἐπ’ αὐτῷ κατὰ τὴν ποίησιν ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης
Ipsa quoque textura et cuncta operis varietas erit ex auro et hyacintho , et purpura , coccoque bis tincto , et bysso retorta .
ወእንመተ ፡ ትብላይሆን ፡ በላዕሌሆን ፡ እምግብረቶን ፡ ድሙራተ ፡ ይኩና ፡ ዘወርቅ ፡ ወያክንት ፡ ወሜላት ፡ ወነት ፡ ፍቱል ፡ ወቢሶስ ፡ ክዑብ ።
The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.
28:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָ֣קַחְתָּ֔ אֶת ־שְׁתֵּ֖י אַבְנֵי ־שֹׁ֑הַם וּפִתַּחְתָּ֣ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם שְׁמ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ λήμψῃ τοὺς δύο λίθους λίθους σμαράγδου καὶ γλύψεις ἐν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Sumesque duos lapides onychinos , et sculpes in eis nomina filiorum Israël :
ወንሣእ ፡ ክልኤ ፡ እብነ ፡ መረግድ ፡ ወአኅርዎሙ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ።
You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel.
28:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ שִׁשָּׁה֙ מִשְּׁמֹתָ֔ם עַ֖ל הָאֶ֣בֶן הָאֶחָ֑ת וְאֶת ־שְׁמ֞וֹת הַשִּׁשָּׁ֧ה הַנּוֹתָרִ֛ים עַל ־הָאֶ֥בֶן הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית כְּתוֹלְדֹתָֽם ׃
ἓξ ὀνόματα ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα καὶ τὰ ἓξ ὀνόματα τὰ λοιπὰ ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν δεύτερον κατὰ τὰς γενέσεις αὐτῶν
sex nomina in lapide uno , et sex reliqua in altero , juxta ordinem nativitatis eorum .
ስድስቱ ፡ አስማት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፩እብን ፡ ወሰድስቱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፩እብን ፡ በበአዝማዲሆሙ ።
Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.
28:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה חָרַשׁ֮ אֶ֒בֶן֒ פִּתּוּחֵ֣י חֹתָ֗ם תְּפַתַּח֙ אֶת ־שְׁתֵּ֣י הָאֲבָנִ֔ים עַל ־שְׁמֹ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מֻסַבֹּ֛ת מִשְׁבְּצ֥וֹת זָהָ֖ב תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם ׃
ἔργον λιθουργικῆς τέχνης γλύμμα σφραγῖδος διαγλύψεις τοὺς δύο λίθους ἐπὶ τοῖς ὀνόμασιν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Opere sculptoris et caelatura gemmarii , sculpes eos nominibus filiorum Israël , inclusos auro atque circumdatos :
ግበር ፡ ግብረ ፡ ዘኬንያ ፡ ኅርወተ ፡ ዐይነ ፡ ማኅተም ፡ ትገልፍ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ እብነ ፡ አስማተ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ።
With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel. You shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.
28:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשַׂמְתָּ֞ אֶת ־שְׁתֵּ֣י הָאֲבָנִ֗ים עַ֚ל כִּתְפֹ֣ת הָֽאֵפֹ֔ד אַבְנֵ֥י זִכָּרֹ֖ן לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְנָשָׂא֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן אֶת ־שְׁמוֹתָ֜ם לִפְנֵ֧י יְהֹוָ֛ה עַל ־שְׁתֵּ֥י כְתֵפָ֖יו לְזִכָּרֹֽן ׃ {ס}
καὶ θήσεις τοὺς δύο λίθους ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων τῆς ἐπωμίδος λίθοι μνημοσύνου εἰσὶν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἀναλήμψεται Ααρων τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἔναντι κυρίου ἐπὶ τῶν δύο ὤμων αὐτοῦ μνημόσυνον περὶ αὐτῶν
et pones in utroque latere superhumeralis , memoriale filiis Israël . Portabitque Aaron nomina eorum coram Domino super utrumque humerum , ob recordationem .
[ወታነብሮሙ ፡ ለ፪አዕባን ፡] ውስተ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ መታክፊሁ ፡ [ተዝካረ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይነሥእ ፡ አሮን ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ፪መታክፊሁ ፡] ተዝካረ ፡ በእንቲአሆሙ ።
You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel. Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders for a memorial.
28:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מִשְׁבְּצֹ֖ת זָהָֽב ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις ἀσπιδίσκας ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ
Facies et uncinos ex auro ,
ወትገብር ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እምወርቅ ፡ ንጹሕ ።
You shall make settings of gold,
28:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּשְׁתֵּ֤י שַׁרְשְׁרֹת֙ זָהָ֣ב טָה֔וֹר מִגְבָּלֹ֛ת תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָ֖ם מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה עֲבֹ֑ת וְנָתַתָּ֛ה אֶת ־שַׁרְשְׁרֹ֥ת הָעֲבֹתֹ֖ת עַל ־הַֽמִּשְׁבְּצֹֽת ׃ {ס}
καὶ ποιήσεις δύο κροσσωτὰ ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ καταμεμιγμένα ἐν ἄνθεσιν ἔργον πλοκῆς καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὰ κροσσωτὰ τὰ πεπλεγμένα ἐπὶ τὰς ἀσπιδίσκας κατὰ τὰς παρωμίδας αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν ἐμπροσθίων
et duas catenulas ex auro purissimo sibi invicem cohaerentes , quas inseres uncinis .
ወአግብር ፡ ክልኤተ ፡ ጽነፈ ፡ እምወርቅ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ድሙረ ፡ ጽጋይ ፡ ግበር ፡ ፅፉረ ፡ ወአንብር ፡ ጽንፈ ፡ ፅፍሮ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ በአምሳሊሆን ፡ እመንገለ ፡ ቅድም ።
and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work. You shall put the braided chains on the settings.
28:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֜יתָ חֹ֤שֶׁן מִשְׁפָּט֙ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה חֹשֵׁ֔ב כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה אֵפֹ֖ד תַּעֲשֶׂ֑נּוּ זָ֠הָ֠ב תְּכֵ֨לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֜ן וְתוֹלַ֧עַת שָׁנִ֛י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מׇשְׁזָ֖ר תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις λογεῖον τῶν κρίσεων ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ κατὰ τὸν ῥυθμὸν τῆς ἐπωμίδος ποιήσεις αὐτό ἐκ χρυσίου καὶ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου κεκλωσμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ποιήσεις αὐτό
Rationale quoque judicii facies opere polymito juxta texturam superhumeralis , ex auro , hyacintho , et purpura , coccoque bis tincto , et bysso retorta .
ወትገብር ፡ [ሎግዮን ፡ ዘፍትሕ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ማእነም ፡ ብዑድ ፡] በሐሳበ ፡ መልበስቱ ፡ ትገብር ፡ ከማሁ ፡ በወርቅ ፡ ወበያክንት ፡ ወሜላት ፡ ወነት ፡ ክዑብ ፡ ወቢሶስ ፡ ክዑብ ።
“You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.
28:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ רָב֥וּעַ יִֽהְיֶ֖ה כָּפ֑וּל זֶ֥רֶת אׇרְכּ֖וֹ וְזֶ֥רֶת רׇחְבּֽוֹ ׃
τετράγωνον ἔσται διπλοῦν σπιθαμῆς τὸ μῆκος καὶ σπιθαμῆς τὸ εὖρος
Quadrangulum erit et duplex : mensuram palmi habebit tam in longitudine quam in latitudine .
ትገብሮ ፡ ር [ቡዐ ] ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ዐፅፍ ፡ ዘእመት ፡ ኑኁ ፡ ወእመት ፡ ወርዱ ።
It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length, and a span its width.
28:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִלֵּאתָ֥ בוֹ֙ מִלֻּ֣אַת אֶ֔בֶן אַרְבָּעָ֖ה טוּרִ֣ים אָ֑בֶן ט֗וּר אֹ֤דֶם פִּטְדָה֙ וּבָרֶ֔קֶת הַטּ֖וּר הָאֶחָֽד ׃
καὶ καθυφανεῖς ἐν αὐτῷ ὕφασμα κατάλιθον τετράστιχον στίχος λίθων ἔσται σάρδιον τοπάζιον καὶ σμάραγδος ὁ στίχος ὁ εἷς
Ponesque in eo quatuor ordines lapidum : in primo versu erit lapis sardius , et topazius , et smaragdus :
ወይትአነም ፡ በማእነም ፡ ወለለእብኑ ፡ አርባዕቱ ፡ ጾታሁ ፤ ጾታ ፡ ዘእብን ፡ ይትገበር ፡ ዘስርዲዮን ፡ ወዘትጳዝዮን ፡ ወዘመረግድ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ጾታ ።
You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;
28:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַטּ֖וּר הַשֵּׁנִ֑י נֹ֥פֶךְ סַפִּ֖יר וְיָהֲלֹֽם ׃
καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ δεύτερος ἄνθραξ καὶ σάπφειρος καὶ ἴασπις
in secundo carbunculus , sapphirus , et jaspis :
[ወካልእ ፡ ጾታ ፡] ዘእብኑ ፡ ከመ ፡ ፍሕም ፡ ወስንፒር ፡ ወኢያስጲስ ።
and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
28:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַטּ֖וּר הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י לֶ֥שֶׁם שְׁב֖וֹ וְאַחְלָֽמָה ׃
καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ τρίτος λιγύριον ἀχάτης καὶ ἀμέθυστος
in tertio ligurius , achates , et amethystus :
ወሣልስ ፡ ጾታ ፡ ዘለጊርዮን ፡ ወአቃጥስ ፡ ወአሜቲሶጥስ ።
and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
28:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַטּוּר֙ הָרְבִיעִ֔י תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ וְשֹׁ֖הַם וְיָשְׁפֵ֑ה מְשֻׁבָּצִ֥ים זָהָ֛ב יִהְי֖וּ בְּמִלּוּאֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ ὁ στίχος ὁ τέταρτος χρυσόλιθος καὶ βηρύλλιον καὶ ὀνύχιον περικεκαλυμμένα χρυσίῳ συνδεδεμένα ἐν χρυσίῳ ἔστωσαν κατὰ στίχον αὐτῶν
in quarto chrysolithus , onychinus , et beryllus . Inclusi auro erunt per ordines suos .
ወራብዕ ፡ ጾታ ፡ በእብን ፡ ዘሕብረ ፡ ወርቅ ፡ ወብርሌ ፡ ወሳውም ፤ ወልቡጠ ፡ በወርቅ ፡ ወእሱረ ፡ በወርቅ ፡ ይኩን ፡ በበጾታሁ ።
and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.
28:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְ֠הָאֲבָנִ֠ים תִּֽהְיֶ֜יןָ עַל ־שְׁמֹ֧ת בְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל שְׁתֵּ֥ים עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה עַל ־שְׁמֹתָ֑ם פִּתּוּחֵ֤י חוֹתָם֙ אִ֣ישׁ עַל ־שְׁמ֔וֹ תִּֽהְיֶ֕יןָ לִשְׁנֵ֥י עָשָׂ֖ר שָֽׁבֶט ׃
καὶ οἱ λίθοι ἔστωσαν ἐκ τῶν ὀνομάτων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ δέκα δύο κατὰ τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν γλυφαὶ σφραγίδων ἕκαστος κατὰ τὸ ὄνομα ἔστωσαν εἰς δέκα δύο φυλάς
Habebuntque nomina filiorum Israël : duodecim nominibus caelabuntur , singuli lapides nominibus singulorum per duodecim tribus .
ወእበኒሁ ፡ ይትገበር ፡ በአስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዐሠርቱ ፡ ወክልኤቱ ፡ በበ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፤ ይትገለፍ ፡ ከመ ፡ ግልፈተ ፡ ዐይነ ፡ ማኅተም ፡ ለለስሙ ፡ ለ፲ወ፪ሕዝበ ፡ እስራኤል ።
The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
28:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ עַל ־הַחֹ֛שֶׁן שַֽׁרְשֹׁ֥ת גַּבְלֻ֖ת מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה עֲבֹ֑ת זָהָ֖ב טָהֽוֹר ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον κροσσοὺς συμπεπλεγμένους ἔργον ἁλυσιδωτὸν ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ
Facies in rationali catenas sibi invicem cohaerentes ex auro purissimo ,
ወትገብር ፡ [ለሎግዮን ፡] ጽነፊሁ ፡ ዘፅፍሮ ፡ ወፅፍሮሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዝርዚቅ ፡ ዘወርቅ ፡ ንጹሕ ።
You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
28:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ עַל ־הַחֹ֔שֶׁן שְׁתֵּ֖י טַבְּע֣וֹת זָהָ֑ב וְנָתַתָּ֗ אֶת ־שְׁתֵּי֙ הַטַּבָּע֔וֹת עַל ־שְׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַחֹֽשֶׁן ׃
— et duos annulos aureos , quos pones in utraque rationalis summitate :
ወይንሣእ ፡ አሮን ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምኀበ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ፍትሕ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እንግድዓሁ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መቅደስ ፡ ለተዝካር ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
28:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתָּ֗ה אֶת ־שְׁתֵּי֙ עֲבֹתֹ֣ת הַזָּהָ֔ב עַל ־שְׁתֵּ֖י הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת אֶל ־קְצ֖וֹת הַחֹֽשֶׁן ׃
— catenasque aureas junges annulis , qui sunt in marginibus ejus ,
ወታነብር ፡ መንጸረ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ [ፍትሕ ፡] አዝፋሪሁ ፡ ለስንሳሌሃ ፡ እምኵልሄ ፡ እምስማካቲሃ ፡ ወእምኵናኔ ፡ ታነብር ።
You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
28:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֨ת שְׁתֵּ֤י קְצוֹת֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י הָעֲבֹתֹ֔ת תִּתֵּ֖ן עַל ־שְׁתֵּ֣י הַֽמִּשְׁבְּצ֑וֹת וְנָתַתָּ֛ה עַל ־כִּתְפ֥וֹת הָאֵפֹ֖ד אֶל ־מ֥וּל פָּנָֽיו ׃
— et ipsarum catenarum extrema duobus copulabis uncinis in utroque latere superhumeralis quod rationale respicit .
ወሥዕለ ፡ አራዊት ፡ ታነብር ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ መታክፍ ፡ ዘመልበስት ፡ መንገለ ፡ ገጽ ።
The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.
28:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֗יתָ שְׁתֵּי֙ טַבְּע֣וֹת זָהָ֔ב וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ אֹתָ֔ם עַל ־שְׁנֵ֖י קְצ֣וֹת הַחֹ֑שֶׁן עַל ־שְׂפָת֕וֹ אֲשֶׁ֛ר אֶל ־עֵ֥בֶר הָאֵפֹ֖ד* (בספרי ספרד ואשכנז הָאֵפ֖וֹד ) בָּֽיְתָה ׃
— Facies et duos annulos aureos , quos pones in summitatibus rationalis , in oris , quae e regione sunt superhumeralis , et posteriora ejus aspiciunt .
ወታነብር ፡ መንገለ ፡ ምኵናን ፡ ዘፍትሕ ፡ ትእዛ [ዘ ፡] ወርት [ዐ ] ፡ ወይትገበር ፡ ውስተ ፡ እንግድዓሁ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወሶበ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መቅደስ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያብእ ፡ አሮን ፡ ፍትሖሙ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በውስተ ፡ እንግድዓሁ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለዘልፍ ።
You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
28:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֘יתָ֮ שְׁתֵּ֣י טַבְּע֣וֹת זָהָב֒ וְנָתַתָּ֣ה אֹתָ֡ם עַל ־שְׁתֵּי֩ כִתְפ֨וֹת הָאֵפ֤וֹד מִלְּמַ֙טָּה֙ מִמּ֣וּל פָּנָ֔יו לְעֻמַּ֖ת מַחְבַּרְתּ֑וֹ מִמַּ֕עַל לְחֵ֖שֶׁב הָאֵפֽוֹד ׃
— Necnon et alios duos annulos aureos , qui ponendi sunt in utroque latere superhumeralis deorsum , quod respicit contra faciem juncturae inferioris , ut aptari possit cum superhumerali ,
ወትገብር ፡ መልበስተ ፡ ዘጶዴሬ ፡ ዘኵለንታሁ ፡ በያክንት ።
You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
28:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיִרְכְּס֣וּ אֶת ־הַ֠חֹ֠שֶׁן מִֽטַּבְּעֹתָ֞ו אֶל ־טַבְּעֹ֤ת הָאֵפוֹד֙ בִּפְתִ֣יל תְּכֵ֔לֶת לִֽהְי֖וֹת עַל ־חֵ֣שֶׁב הָאֵפ֑וֹד וְלֹֽא ־יִזַּ֣ח הַחֹ֔שֶׁן מֵעַ֖ל הָאֵפֽוֹד ׃
— et stringatur rationale annulis suis cum annulis superhumeralis vitta hyacinthina , ut maneat junctura fabrefacta , et a se invicem rationale et superhumerale nequeant separari .
ወአፈ ፡ መልበስቱ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ማእከለ ፡ በዐውደ ፡ አፈ ፡ መልበስቱ ፡ ይትገበር ፡ ግብረ ፡ ማእነም ፡ ወድማሬሁ ፡ እንሞ ፡ እምውስቴቱ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይትበተክ ።
They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
28:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָשָׂ֣א אַ֠הֲרֹ֠ן אֶת ־שְׁמ֨וֹת בְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל בְּחֹ֧שֶׁן הַמִּשְׁפָּ֛ט עַל ־לִבּ֖וֹ בְּבֹא֣וֹ אֶל ־הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ לְזִכָּרֹ֥ן לִפְנֵֽי ־יְהֹוָ֖ה תָּמִֽיד ׃
καὶ λήμψεται Ααρων τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τοῦ λογείου τῆς κρίσεως ἐπὶ τοῦ στήθους εἰσιόντι εἰς τὸ ἅγιον μνημόσυνον ἔναντι τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ θήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον τῆς κρίσεως τοὺς κροσσούς τὰ ἁλυσιδωτὰ ἐπ’ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν κλιτῶν τοῦ λογείου ἐπιθήσεις καὶ τὰς δύο ἀσπιδίσκας ἐπιθήσεις ἐπ’ ἀμφοτέρους τοὺς ὤμους τῆς ἐπωμίδος κατὰ πρόσωπον
Portabitque Aaron nomina filiorum Israël in rationali judicii super pectus suum , quando ingredietur Sanctuarium , memoriale coram Domino in aeternum .
ወትገብር ፡ በመልዕልቴሃ ፡ ወመትሕቴሃ ፡ ከመ ፡ ፍርየተ ፡ ሮማን ፡ ዘያክንት ፡ ወሜላት ፡ ወነት ፡ ዘፍትሎ ፡ ወቢሶስ ፡ ክዑብ ፡ መትሕተ ፡ መልበስት ፡ ክዑብ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዐውዱ ፡ ወሕብሩ ፡ ሕብረ ፡ ሮማን ፡ ዘወርቅ ፤ ወጸናጽል ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለእሉ ፡ በዐውዱ ።
Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
28:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתָּ֞ אֶל ־חֹ֣שֶׁן הַמִּשְׁפָּ֗ט אֶת ־הָאוּרִים֙ וְאֶת ־הַתֻּמִּ֔ים וְהָיוּ֙ עַל ־לֵ֣ב אַהֲרֹ֔ן בְּבֹא֖וֹ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְנָשָׂ֣א אַ֠הֲרֹ֠ן אֶת ־מִשְׁפַּ֨ט בְּנֵי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל עַל ־לִבּ֛וֹ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה תָּמִֽיד ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπιθήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λογεῖον τῆς κρίσεως τὴν δήλωσιν καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ στήθους Ααρων ὅταν εἰσπορεύηται εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ οἴσει Ααρων τὰς κρίσεις τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τοῦ στήθους ἐναντίον κυρίου διὰ παντός
Pones autem in rationali judicii Doctrinam et Veritatem , quae erunt in pectore Aaron , quando ingredietur coram Domino : et gestabit judicium filiorum Israël in pectore suo , in conspectu Domini semper .
ወሮማኑ ፡ ዘወርቅ ፡ ወጸናጽሊሆን ፡ ወጽጌሆን ፡ በናሕሰ ፡ መልበስቱ ፡ እምዐውዱ ።
You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before Yahweh. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before Yahweh continually.
28:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֛יתָ אֶת ־מְעִ֥יל הָאֵפ֖וֹד כְּלִ֥יל תְּכֵֽלֶת ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις ὑποδύτην ποδήρη ὅλον ὑακίνθινον
Facies et tunicam superhumeralis totam hyacinthinam ,
ወይግበር ፡ አሮን ፡ ሶበ ፡ ይሠውዕ ፡ በቃል ፡ ዘይሰማዕ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መቅደስ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእንዘሂ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይሙት ።
“You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
28:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיָ֥ה פִֽי ־רֹאשׁ֖וֹ בְּתוֹכ֑וֹ שָׂפָ֡ה יִֽהְיֶה֩ לְפִ֨יו סָבִ֜יב מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֗ג כְּפִ֥י תַחְרָ֛א יִֽהְיֶה ־לּ֖וֹ לֹ֥א יִקָּרֵֽעַ ׃
καὶ ἔσται τὸ περιστόμιον ἐξ αὐτοῦ μέσον ᾤαν ἔχον κύκλῳ τοῦ περιστομίου ἔργον ὑφάντου τὴν συμβολὴν συνυφασμένην ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἵνα μὴ ῥαγῇ
in cujus medio supra erit capitium , et ora per gyrum ejus textilis , sicut fieri solet in extremis vestium partibus , ne facile rumpatur .
ወትገብር ፡ ቈጽለ ፡ ወርቅ ፡ ረቃቀ ፡ እምወርቅ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ወትገብር ፡ ውሰቴቱ ፡ አርአያ ፡ ማኅተም ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
It shall have a hole for the head in the middle of it. It shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
28:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ עַל ־שׁוּלָ֗יו רִמֹּנֵי֙ תְּכֵ֤לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י עַל ־שׁוּלָ֖יו סָבִ֑יב וּפַעֲמֹנֵ֥י זָהָ֛ב בְּתוֹכָ֖ם סָבִֽיב ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις ἐπὶ τὸ λῶμα τοῦ ὑποδύτου κάτωθεν ὡσεὶ ἐξανθούσης ῥόας ῥοίσκους ἐξ ὑακίνθου καὶ πορφύρας καὶ κοκκίνου διανενησμένου καὶ βύσσου κεκλωσμένης ἐπὶ τοῦ λώματος τοῦ ὑποδύτου κύκλῳ τὸ αὐτὸ δὲ εἶδος ῥοίσκους χρυσοῦς καὶ κώδωνας ἀνὰ μέσον τούτων περικύκλῳ
Deorsum vero , ad pedes ejusdem tunicae , per circuitum , quasi mala punica facies , ex hyacintho , et purpura , et cocco bis tincto , mistis in medio tintinnabulis ,
ወታነብራ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ዘሕብረ ፡ ያክንት ፡ ፍትሎ ፡ ወያነብርዋ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍጽሙ ፡ ለአርዌ ፡ ለትንበር ።
On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, all around its hem; with bells of gold between and around them:
28:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ פַּעֲמֹ֤ן זָהָב֙ וְרִמּ֔וֹן פַּֽעֲמֹ֥ן זָהָ֖ב וְרִמּ֑וֹן עַל ־שׁוּלֵ֥י הַמְּעִ֖יל סָבִֽיב ׃
παρὰ ῥοίσκον χρυσοῦν κώδωνα καὶ ἄνθινον ἐπὶ τοῦ λώματος τοῦ ὑποδύτου κύκλῳ
ita ut tintinnabulum sit aureum et malum punicum : rursumque tintinnabulum aliud aureum et malum punicum .
ወይኩን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍጽሙ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወይንሣእ ፡ አሮን ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ለቅዱሳን ፡ እለ ፡ ቀደሱ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ሀብተ ፡ ቅድስናሆሙ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍጽሙ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ስጥወ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
28:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיָ֥ה עַֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לְשָׁרֵ֑ת וְנִשְׁמַ֣ע ק֠וֹל֠וֹ בְּבֹא֨וֹ אֶל ־הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ לִפְנֵ֧י יְהֹוָ֛ה וּבְצֵאת֖וֹ וְלֹ֥א יָמֽוּת ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἔσται Ααρων ἐν τῷ λειτουργεῖν ἀκουστὴ ἡ φωνὴ αὐτοῦ εἰσιόντι εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ ἐξιόντι ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνῃ
Et vestietur ea Aaron in officio ministerii , ut audiatur sonitus quando ingreditur et egreditur sanctuarium in conspectu Domini , et non moriatur .
ወቍጽረተ ፡ ዐራዙ ፡ እምሶ [ቢስ ] ፤ ወትገብር ፡ ማዕፈርተ ፡ ዘቢሶስ ፡ ወቅናተ ፡ ዘሕብር ፡ ግብረቱ ።
It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before Yahweh, and when he comes out, that he not die.
28:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ צִּ֖יץ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וּפִתַּחְתָּ֤ עָלָיו֙ פִּתּוּחֵ֣י חֹתָ֔ם קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַֽיהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις πέταλον χρυσοῦν καθαρὸν καὶ ἐκτυπώσεις ἐν αὐτῷ ἐκτύπωμα σφραγῖδος ἁγίασμα κυρίου
Facies et laminam de auro purissimo , in qua sculpes opere caelatoris , Sanctum Domino .
ወለደቂቀ ፡ አሮን ፡ ትገብር ፡ ሎሙ ፡ አልባሰ ፡ ወቅናታተ ፡ ወማዕፈርታተ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ለክብር ፡ ወለአንክሮ ።
“You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘HOLY TO YAHWEH.’
28:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשַׂמְתָּ֤ אֹתוֹ֙ עַל ־פְּתִ֣יל תְּכֵ֔לֶת וְהָיָ֖ה עַל ־הַמִּצְנָ֑פֶת אֶל ־מ֥וּל פְּנֵֽי ־הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת יִהְיֶֽה ׃
καὶ ἐπιθήσεις αὐτὸ ἐπὶ ὑακίνθου κεκλωσμένης καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τῆς μίτρας κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς μίτρας ἔσται
Ligabisque eam vitta hyacinthina , et erit super tiaram ,
ወታለብሶ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ለእኁከ ፡ ወለደቂቁሂ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ወቅብኦሙ ፡ ወአፅኅዶሙ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፡ ወእባርኮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሡዑ ፡ ሊተ ።
You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.
28:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיָה֮ עַל ־מֵ֣צַח אַהֲרֹן֒ וְנָשָׂ֨א אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת ־עֲוֺ֣ן הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר יַקְדִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְכׇֽל ־מַתְּנֹ֖ת קׇדְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם וְהָיָ֤ה עַל ־מִצְחוֹ֙ תָּמִ֔יד לְרָצ֥וֹן לָהֶ֖ם לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ μετώπου Ααρων καὶ ἐξαρεῖ Ααρων τὰ ἁμαρτήματα τῶν ἁγίων ὅσα ἂν ἁγιάσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ παντὸς δόματος τῶν ἁγίων αὐτῶν καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ μετώπου Ααρων διὰ παντός δεκτὸν αὐτοῖς ἔναντι κυρίου
imminens fronti pontificis . Portabitque Aaron iniquitates eorum , quae obtulerunt et sanctificaverunt filii Israël , in cunctis muneribus et donariis suis . Erit autem lamina semper in fronte ejus , ut placatus sit eis Dominus .
ወአግብር ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ድርማንቀ ፡ ዘዐጌ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሰውሮሙ ፡ ምኅፋሪሆሙ ፡ ወኀበ ፡ ይከድና ፡ እምሐቌ ፡ እስከ ፡ መናቅእ ፡ ለይኩና ።
It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.
28:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשִׁבַּצְתָּ֙ הַכְּתֹ֣נֶת שֵׁ֔שׁ וְעָשִׂ֖יתָ מִצְנֶ֣פֶת שֵׁ֑שׁ וְאַבְנֵ֥ט תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה רֹקֵֽם ׃
καὶ οἱ κόσυμβοι τῶν χιτώνων ἐκ βύσσου καὶ ποιήσεις κίδαριν βυσσίνην καὶ ζώνην ποιήσεις ἔργον ποικιλτοῦ
Stringesque tunicam bysso , et tiaram byssinam facies , et balteum opere plumarii .
ወከማሁ ፡ ለይልበስ ፡ አሮን ፡ ወደቂቁ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወሶበ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ይሡዕ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ቤተ ፡ መቅደስ ፡ ወኢያምጽኡ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይሙ [ቱ ] ፤ ሕግ ፡ ለዘልፍ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወለፍሬሁ ፡ እምድኅሬሁ ።
You shall weave the tunic with fine linen. You shall make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
28:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלִבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה כֻתֳּנֹ֔ת וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ לָהֶ֖ם אַבְנֵטִ֑ים וּמִגְבָּעוֹת֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם לְכָב֖וֹד וּלְתִפְאָֽרֶת ׃
καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ααρων ποιήσεις χιτῶνας καὶ ζώνας καὶ κιδάρεις ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς εἰς τιμὴν καὶ δόξαν
Porro filiis Aaron tunicas lineas parabis et balteos ac tiaras in gloriam et decorem :
— “You shall make tunics for Aaron’s sons. You shall make sashes for them. You shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
28:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֤ אֹתָם֙ אֶת ־אַהֲרֹ֣ן אָחִ֔יךָ וְאֶת ־בָּנָ֖יו אִתּ֑וֹ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֨ אֹתָ֜ם וּמִלֵּאתָ֧ אֶת ־יָדָ֛ם וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם וְכִהֲנ֥וּ לִֽי ׃
καὶ ἐνδύσεις αὐτὰ Ααρων τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ μετ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ χρίσεις αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐμπλήσεις αὐτῶν τὰς χεῖρας καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτούς ἵνα ἱερατεύωσίν μοι
vestiesque his omnibus Aaron fratrem tuum et filios ejus cum eo . Et cunctorum consecrabis manus , sanctificabisque illos , ut sacerdotio fungantur mihi .
— You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
28:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַעֲשֵׂ֤ה לָהֶם֙ מִכְנְסֵי ־בָ֔ד לְכַסּ֖וֹת בְּשַׂ֣ר עֶרְוָ֑ה מִמׇּתְנַ֥יִם וְעַד ־יְרֵכַ֖יִם יִהְיֽוּ ׃
καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς περισκελῆ λινᾶ καλύψαι ἀσχημοσύνην χρωτὸς αὐτῶν ἀπὸ ὀσφύος ἕως μηρῶν ἔσται
Facies et feminalia linea , ut operiant carnem turpitudinis suae , a renibus usque ad femora :
— You shall make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.
28:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיוּ֩ עַל ־אַהֲרֹ֨ן וְעַל ־בָּנָ֜יו בְּבֹאָ֣ם ׀ אֶל ־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֗ד א֣וֹ בְגִשְׁתָּ֤ם אֶל ־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְלֹא ־יִשְׂא֥וּ עָוֺ֖ן וָמֵ֑תוּ חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם ל֖וֹ וּלְזַרְע֥וֹ אַחֲרָֽיו ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἕξει Ααρων αὐτὰ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ὡς ἂν εἰσπορεύωνται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἢ ὅταν προσπορεύωνται λειτουργεῖν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ οὐκ ἐπάξονται πρὸς ἑαυτοὺς ἁμαρτίαν ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνωσιν νόμιμον αἰώνιον αὐτῷ καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ μετ’ αὐτόν
et utentur eis Aaron et filii ejus quando ingredientur tabernaculum testimonii , vel quando appropinquant ad altare ut ministrent in sanctuario , ne iniquitatis rei moriantur . Legitimum sempiternum erit Aaron , et semini ejus post eum .
— They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they don’t bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.
