6:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה עַתָּ֣ה תִרְאֶ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה לְפַרְעֹ֑ה כִּ֣י בְיָ֤ד חֲזָקָה֙ יְשַׁלְּחֵ֔ם וּבְיָ֣ד חֲזָקָ֔ה יְגָרְשֵׁ֖ם מֵאַרְצֽוֹ ׃ {ס}
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἤδη ὄψει ἃ ποιήσω τῷ Φαραω ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταιᾷ ἐξαποστελεῖ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐν βραχίονι ὑψηλῷ ἐκβαλεῖ αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ
Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen : Nunc videbis quae facturus sim Pharaoni : per manum enim fortem dimittet eos , et in manu robusta ejiciet illos de terra sua .
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ትሬኢ ፡ ዘእገብር ፡ በፈርዖን ፡ እስመ ፡ በእድ ፡ ጽንዕት ፡ ይፌንዎሙ ፡ ወበመዝራዕት ፡ ልዕልት ፡ ያወጽኦሙ ፡ እምድሩ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.”
6:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
ἐλάλησεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν ἐγὼ κύριος
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen dicens : Ego Dominus
ወተናገሮ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚእ ፤
God spoke to Moses, and said to him, “I am Yahweh.
6:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וָאֵרָ֗א אֶל ־אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶל ־יִצְחָ֥ק וְאֶֽל ־יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּאֵ֣ל שַׁדָּ֑י וּשְׁמִ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי לָהֶֽם ׃
καὶ ὤφθην πρὸς Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ θεὸς ὢν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ ὄνομά μου κύριος οὐκ ἐδήλωσα αὐτοῖς
qui apparui Abraham , Isaac et Jacob in Deo omnipotente : et nomen meum Adonai non indicavi eis .
ዘአስተርአይኩ ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ ወለይስሐቅ ፡ ወለያዕቆብ ፡ እስመ ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ አነ ፡ ወስምየ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ [ኢ ]ያይዳዕክዎሙ ።
I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them.
6:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְגַ֨ם הֲקִמֹ֤תִי אֶת ־בְּרִיתִי֙ אִתָּ֔ם לָתֵ֥ת לָהֶ֖ם אֶת ־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן אֵ֛ת אֶ֥רֶץ מְגֻרֵיהֶ֖ם אֲשֶׁר ־גָּ֥רוּ בָֽהּ ׃
καὶ ἔστησα τὴν διαθήκην μου πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὥστε δοῦναι αὐτοῖς τὴν γῆν τῶν Χαναναίων τὴν γῆν ἣν παρῳκήκασιν ἐν ᾗ καὶ παρῴκησαν ἐπ’ αὐτῆς
Pepigique foedus cum eis , ut darem eis terram Chanaan , terram peregrinationis eorum , in qua fuerunt advenae .
ወአቀምኩ ፡ መሐላየ ፡ ኀቤሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ እሁቦሙ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ከናአን ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ኀደሩ ፡ ውስቴታ ።
I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.
6:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְגַ֣ם ׀ אֲנִ֣י שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי אֶֽת ־נַאֲקַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִצְרַ֖יִם מַעֲבִדִ֣ים אֹתָ֑ם וָאֶזְכֹּ֖ר אֶת ־בְּרִיתִֽי ׃
καὶ ἐγὼ εἰσήκουσα τὸν στεναγμὸν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ὃν οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι καταδουλοῦνται αὐτούς καὶ ἐμνήσθην τῆς διαθήκης ὑμῶν
Ego audivi gemitum filiorum Israël , quo Aegyptii oppresserunt eos : et recordatus sum pacti mei .
ወአነ ፡ ሰማዕኩ ፡ ገዓሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እንተ ፡ ይቀንይዎሙ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወተዘከርኩ ፡ መሐላየ ።
Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.
6:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֥ר לִבְנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָה֒ וְהוֹצֵאתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֗ם מִתַּ֙חַת֙ סִבְלֹ֣ת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם מֵעֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וְגָאַלְתִּ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ בִּזְר֣וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֔ה וּבִשְׁפָטִ֖ים גְּדֹלִֽים ׃
βάδιζε εἰπὸν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων ἐγὼ κύριος καὶ ἐξάξω ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ τῆς δυναστείας τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ ῥύσομαι ὑμᾶς ἐκ τῆς δουλείας καὶ λυτρώσομαι ὑμᾶς ἐν βραχίονι ὑψηλῷ καὶ κρίσει μεγάλῃ
Ideo dic filiis Israël : Ego Dominus qui educam vos de ergastulo Aegyptiorum , et eruam de servitute , ac redimam in brachio excelso et judiciis magnis .
አፍጥን ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ወኣወጽአክሙ ፡ እምኀይሎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ፡ ወእምቅንየቶሙ ፡ ወአድኅነክሙ ፡ ወእቤዝወክሙ ፡ በመዝራዕት ፡ ልዑል ፡ ወበኵነኔ ፡ ዐቢይ ።
Therefore tell the children of Israel, ‘I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.
6:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַחְתִּ֨י אֶתְכֶ֥ם לִי֙ לְעָ֔ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָכֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים וִֽידַעְתֶּ֗ם כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם הַמּוֹצִ֣יא אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִתַּ֖חַת סִבְל֥וֹת מִצְרָֽיִם ׃
καὶ λήμψομαι ἐμαυτῷ ὑμᾶς λαὸν ἐμοὶ καὶ ἔσομαι ὑμῶν θεός καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν ὑμᾶς ἐκ τῆς καταδυναστείας τῶν Αἰγυπτίων
Et assumam vos mihi in populum , et ero vester Deus : et scietis quod ego sum Dominus Deus vester qui eduxerim vos de ergastulo Aegyptiorum ,
ወእነሥአክሙ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ወእከውነክሙ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ወታእምሩ ፡ እንከ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ዘኣወጽአክሙ ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወእምኀይሎሙ ፡ ለግብጽ ።
I will take you to myself for a people. I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
6:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהֵבֵאתִ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ אֶל ־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ אֶת ־יָדִ֔י לָתֵ֣ת אֹתָ֔הּ לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב וְנָתַתִּ֨י אֹתָ֥הּ לָכֶ֛ם מוֹרָשָׁ֖ה אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ εἰσάξω ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν γῆν εἰς ἣν ἐξέτεινα τὴν χεῖρά μου δοῦναι αὐτὴν τῷ Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ καὶ δώσω ὑμῖν αὐτὴν ἐν κλήρῳ ἐγὼ κύριος
et induxerim in terram , super quam levavi manum meam ut darem eam Abraham , Isaac et Jacob : daboque illam vobis possidendam . Ego Dominus .
ወእወስደክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ሰፋሕኩ ፡ እዴየ ፡ ከመ ፡ አሀባ ፡ ለአብርሃም ፡ ወለይስሐቅ ፡ ወለያዕቆብ ፡ ወእሁበክምዋ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ በርስት ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚእ ።
I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.’”
6:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר מֹשֶׁ֛ה כֵּ֖ן אֶל ־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֤א שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה מִקֹּ֣צֶר ר֔וּחַ וּמֵעֲבֹדָ֖ה קָשָֽׁה ׃ {פ}
ἐλάλησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς οὕτως τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν Μωυσῇ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀλιγοψυχίας καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων τῶν σκληρῶν
Narravit ergo Moyses omnia filiis Israël : qui non acquieverunt ei propter angustiam spiritus , et opus durissimum .
ወነገሮሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወኢሰምዕዎ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ እምዕንብዝና ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ወእምዕጸበ ፡ ግብሮሙ ።
Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they didn’t listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
6:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ለሙሴ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
6:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֹּ֣א דַבֵּ֔ר אֶל ־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וִֽישַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת ־בְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ ׃
εἴσελθε λάλησον Φαραω βασιλεῖ Αἰγύπτου ἵνα ἐξαποστείλῃ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ
Ingredere , et loquere ad Pharaonem regem Aegypti , ut dimittat filios Israël de terra sua .
ባእ ፡ ወንግሮ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይፈንዎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምድሩ ።
“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.”
6:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֔ה לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הֵ֤ן בְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֹֽא ־שָׁמְע֣וּ אֵלַ֔י וְאֵיךְ֙ יִשְׁמָעֵ֣נִי פַרְעֹ֔ה וַאֲנִ֖י עֲרַ֥ל שְׂפָתָֽיִם ׃ {פ}
ἐλάλησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς ἔναντι κυρίου λέγων ἰδοὺ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ οὐκ εἰσήκουσάν μου καὶ πῶς εἰσακούσεταί μου Φαραω ἐγὼ δὲ ἄλογός εἰμι
Respondit Moyses coram Domino : Ecce filii Israël non audiunt me : et quomodo audiet Pharao , praesertim cum incircumcisus sim labiis ?
ወተናገረ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ኢሰምዑኒ ፡ ፈርዖን ፡ እፎ ፡ ይሰምዐኒ ፡ ወአነ ፡ በሃም ።
Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel haven’t listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, when I have uncircumcised lips?”
6:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהֹוָה֮ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאֶֽל ־אַהֲרֹן֒ וַיְצַוֵּם֙ אֶל ־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶל ־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְהוֹצִ֥יא אֶת ־בְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם ׃ {ס}
εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων καὶ συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς πρὸς Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου ὥστε ἐξαποστεῖλαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron , et dedit mandatum ad filios Israël , et ad Pharaonem regem Aegypti ut educerent filios Israël de terra Aegypti .
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወለአሮን ፡ ወአዘዞሙ ፡ ይበልዎ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ያውጽኦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ።
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
6:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֖לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֣י בֵית ־אֲבֹתָ֑ם בְּנֵ֨י רְאוּבֵ֜ן בְּכֹ֣ר יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל חֲנ֤וֹךְ וּפַלּוּא֙ חֶצְרֹ֣ן וְכַרְמִ֔י אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת רְאוּבֵֽן ׃
καὶ οὗτοι ἀρχηγοὶ οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν υἱοὶ Ρουβην πρωτοτόκου Ισραηλ Ενωχ καὶ Φαλλους Ασρων καὶ Χαρμι αὕτη ἡ συγγένεια Ρουβην
Isti sunt principes domorum per familias suas . Filii Ruben primogeniti Israëlis : Henoch et Phallu , Hesron et Charmi :
ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ መላእክት ፡ በበ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፤
These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.
6:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֣י שִׁמְע֗וֹן יְמוּאֵ֨ל וְיָמִ֤ין וְאֹ֙הַד֙ וְיָכִ֣ין וְצֹ֔חַר וְשָׁא֖וּל בֶּן ־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑ית אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת שִׁמְעֽוֹן ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Συμεων Ιεμουηλ καὶ Ιαμιν καὶ Αωδ καὶ Ιαχιν καὶ Σααρ καὶ Σαουλ ὁ ἐκ τῆς Φοινίσσης αὗται αἱ πατριαὶ τῶν υἱῶν Συμεων
hae cognationes Ruben . Filii Simeon : Jamuel , et Jamin , et Ahod , et Jachin , et Soar , et Saul filius Chananitidis : hae progenies Simeon .
ደቂቀ ፡ ሮቤል ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ ሄኖኅ ፡ ወፍሉሶ ፡ ወአስሮን ፡ ወ [ከር ]ሚ ፡ ዝውእቱ ፡ ትውልዲሁ ፡ ለሮቤል ።
The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.
6:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֨לֶּה שְׁמ֤וֹת בְּנֵֽי ־לֵוִי֙ לְתֹ֣לְדֹתָ֔ם גֵּרְשׁ֕וֹן וּקְהָ֖ת וּמְרָרִ֑י וּשְׁנֵי֙ חַיֵּ֣י לֵוִ֔י שֶׁ֧בַע וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֛ים וּמְאַ֖ת שָׁנָֽה ׃
καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Λευι κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν Γεδσων Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι καὶ τὰ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Λευι ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἑπτά
Et haec nomina filiorum Levi per cognationes suas : Gerson , et Caath , et Merari . Anni autem vitae Levi fuerunt centum triginta septem .
ደቂቀ ፡ ስምዖን ፡ የምኤል ፡ ወያሚን ፡ ወአኦድ ፡ ወያክን ፡ ወሳኦር ፡ ወሰኡል ፡ ዘእምነ ፡ (ፈኒስ ፡) [*ከናናዊት ፡*] ዝውእቱ ፡ ትውልዱ ፡ ለስምዖን ።
These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.
6:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵ֥י גֵרְשׁ֛וֹן לִבְנִ֥י וְשִׁמְעִ֖י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Γεδσων Λοβενι καὶ Σεμεϊ οἶκοι πατριᾶς αὐτῶν
Filii Gerson : Lobni et Semei , per cognationes suas .
ወዝውእቱ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ በበዘመዶሙ ፡ ገርሶን ፡ ወቃዓት ፡ ወምራሪ ፡ ወዓመተ ፡ ሕይወቱ ፡ ለሌዊ ፡ ፻፴ወ፯ ።
The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.
6:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֣י קְהָ֔ת עַמְרָ֣ם וְיִצְהָ֔ר וְחֶבְר֖וֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵ֑ל וּשְׁנֵי֙ חַיֵּ֣י קְהָ֔ת שָׁלֹ֧שׁ וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֛ים וּמְאַ֖ת שָׁנָֽה ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Κααθ Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ καὶ τὰ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Κααθ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη
Filii Caath : Amram , et Isaar , et Hebron , et Oziel ; anni quoque vitae Caath , centum triginta tres .
ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ገርሶን ፡ ሎቤኒ ፡ ወሰሚዕ ፡ በቤተ ፡ አቡሆሙ ።
The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.
6:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֥י מְרָרִ֖י מַחְלִ֣י וּמוּשִׁ֑י אֵ֛לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הַלֵּוִ֖י לְתֹלְדֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρι Μοολι καὶ Ομουσι οὗτοι οἶκοι πατριῶν Λευι κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν
Filii Merari : Moholi et Musi : hae cognationes Levi per familias suas .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ቃዓት ፡ እምበረም ፡ ወይሳ [አ ]ር ፡ ወክብሮን ፡ ወዖዝየል ፡ ወዓመተ ፡ ሕይወቱ ፡ ለቃዓት ፡ ፻ወ፴ [ወ፫ ]ዓመት ።
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.
6:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקַּ֨ח עַמְרָ֜ם אֶת ־יוֹכֶ֤בֶד דֹּֽדָתוֹ֙ ל֣וֹ לְאִשָּׁ֔ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֔וֹ אֶֽת ־אַהֲרֹ֖ן וְאֶת ־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וּשְׁנֵי֙ חַיֵּ֣י עַמְרָ֔ם שֶׁ֧בַע וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֛ים וּמְאַ֖ת שָׁנָֽה ׃
καὶ ἔλαβεν Αμβραμ τὴν Ιωχαβεδ θυγατέρα τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἑαυτῷ εἰς γυναῖκα καὶ ἐγέννησεν αὐτῷ τόν τε Ααρων καὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Μαριαμ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν τὰ δὲ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Αμβραμ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα δύο ἔτη
Accepit autem Amram uxorem Jochabed patruelem suam : quae peperit ei Aaron et Moysen . Fueruntque anni vitae Amram , centum triginta septem .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ምራሪ ፡ መሑል ፡ ወሐሙስ ፤ እሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ትውልደ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ በበዘመዶሙ ።
Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. The years of the life of Amram were one hundred thirty-seven years.
6:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י יִצְהָ֑ר קֹ֥רַח וָנֶ֖פֶג וְזִכְרִֽי ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Ισσααρ Κορε καὶ Ναφεκ καὶ Ζεχρι
Filii quoque Isaar : Core , et Nepheg , et Zechri .
ወነሥአ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ እምበረም ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ዮከብድ ፡ ወለተ ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለአቡሁ ፡ ወወለደቶሙ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወለሙሴ ፡ ወለማርያ ፡ እኅቶሙ ፡ ወዓመተ ፡ ሕይወቱ ፡ ለእምበረም ፡ ፻፴ወ፯ዓመት ።
The sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
6:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י עֻזִּיאֵ֑ל מִֽישָׁאֵ֥ל וְאֶלְצָפָ֖ן וְסִתְרִֽי ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Οζιηλ Ελισαφαν καὶ Σετρι
Filii quoque Oziel : Misaël , et Elisaphan , et Sethri .
ወደቂቀ ፡ [ይ ]ሳአር ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወናፌግ ፡ ወዝክር ።
The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.
6:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקַּ֨ח אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת ־אֱלִישֶׁ֧בַע בַּת ־עַמִּינָדָ֛ב אֲח֥וֹת נַחְשׁ֖וֹן ל֣וֹ לְאִשָּׁ֑ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֗וֹ אֶת ־נָדָב֙ וְאֶת ־אֲבִיה֔וּא אֶת ־אֶלְעָזָ֖ר וְאֶת ־אִֽיתָמָֽר ׃
ἔλαβεν δὲ Ααρων τὴν Ελισαβεθ θυγατέρα Αμιναδαβ ἀδελφὴν Ναασσων αὐτῷ γυναῖκα καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τόν τε Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ
Accepit autem Aaron uxorem Elisabeth filiam Aminadab , sororem Nahason , quae peperit ei Nadab , et Abiu , et Eleazar , et Ithamar .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ዖዝ [የል ] ፡ ሚሳኤል ፡ ወኤሊሳፌን ፡ ወሶተሪ ።
Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
6:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֣י קֹ֔רַח אַסִּ֥יר וְאֶלְקָנָ֖ה וַאֲבִיאָסָ֑ף אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הַקׇּרְחִֽי ׃
υἱοὶ δὲ Κορε Ασιρ καὶ Ελκανα καὶ Αβιασαφ αὗται αἱ γενέσεις Κορε
Filii quoque Core : Aser , et Elcana , et Abiasaph : hae sunt cognationes Coritarum .
ወነሥአ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ አሮን ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ኤሊሳቤጥ ፡ ወለተ ፡ አሚናዳብ ፡ እኅቱ ፡ ለነኣሶ ፡ ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ናዳብ ፡ ወአብዩድ ፡ ወአልዓዛር ፡ ወኢታማር ።
The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
6:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶלְעָזָ֨ר בֶּֽן ־אַהֲרֹ֜ן לָקַֽח ־ל֨וֹ מִבְּנ֤וֹת פּֽוּטִיאֵל֙ ל֣וֹ לְאִשָּׁ֔ה וַתֵּ֥לֶד ל֖וֹ אֶת ־פִּֽינְחָ֑ס אֵ֗לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֛י אֲב֥וֹת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ Ελεαζαρ ὁ τοῦ Ααρων ἔλαβεν τῶν θυγατέρων Φουτιηλ αὐτῷ γυναῖκα καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φινεες αὗται αἱ ἀρχαὶ πατριᾶς Λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν
At vero Eleazar filius Aaron accepit uxorem de filiabus Phutiel : quae peperit ei Phinees . Hi sunt principes familiarum Leviticarum per cognationes suas .
ደቂቀ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ኣሴር ፡ ወሕልቃና ፡ ወአቢያሰፍ ፡ ዝውእቱ ፡ ትውልዱ ፡ ለቆሬ ።
Eleazar Aaron’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites according to their families.
6:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ ה֥וּא אַהֲרֹ֖ן וּמֹשֶׁ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ לָהֶ֔ם הוֹצִ֜יאוּ אֶת ־בְּנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם עַל ־צִבְאֹתָֽם ׃
οὗτος Ααρων καὶ Μωυσῆς οἷς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ θεὸς ἐξαγαγεῖν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν
Iste est Aaron et Moyses , quibus praecepit Dominus ut educerent filios Israël de terra Aegypti per turmas suas .
ወአልአዛር ፡ ዘአሮን ፡ ነሥአ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ እምአዋልደ ፡ ፉጢይን ፡ ወወለደቶ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለፈንሕስ ፤ ዝውእቱ ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ትውልዶሙ ፡ ለሌዋዊያን ፡ በበዘመዶሙ ።
These are that Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, “Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”
6:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֵ֗ם הַֽמְדַבְּרִים֙ אֶל ־פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ ־מִצְרַ֔יִם לְהוֹצִ֥יא אֶת ־בְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם ה֥וּא מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹֽן ׃
οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ διαλεγόμενοι πρὸς Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐξήγαγον τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου αὐτὸς Ααρων καὶ Μωυσῆς
Hi sunt , qui loquuntur ad Pharaonem regem Aegypti , ut educant filios Israël de Aegypto : iste est Moyses et Aaron ,
እሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ አሮን ፡ ወሙሴ ፡ እለ ፡ ይቤሎሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያ [ው ]ፅእዎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኀይሎሙ ።
These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.
6:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֗י בְּי֨וֹם דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם ׃ {ס}
ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐλάλησεν κύριος Μωυσῇ ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ
in die qua locutus est Dominus ad Moysen , in terra Aegypti .
እሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ እለ ፡ ተባሀልዎ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያውፅኦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምብሔረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ እሙንቱ ።
On the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,
6:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹ֖ר אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה דַּבֵּ֗ר אֶל ־פַּרְעֹה֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם אֵ֛ת כׇּל ־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲנִ֖י דֹּבֵ֥ר אֵלֶֽיךָ ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων ἐγὼ κύριος λάλησον πρὸς Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου ὅσα ἐγὼ λέγω πρὸς σέ
Et locutus est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens : Ego Dominus : loquere ad Pharaonem regem Aegypti , omnia quae ego loquor tibi .
በዕለት ፡ እንተ ፡ ተናገሮ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፤ ተናገሮ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ንግሮ ፡ ለፈርዖን ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ እቤለከ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “I am Yahweh. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I tell you.”
6:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה הֵ֤ן אֲנִי֙ עֲרַ֣ל שְׂפָתַ֔יִם וְאֵ֕יךְ יִשְׁמַ֥ע אֵלַ֖י פַּרְעֹֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς ἐναντίον κυρίου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἰσχνόφωνός εἰμι καὶ πῶς εἰσακούσεταί μου Φαραω
Et ait Moyses coram Domino : En incircumcisus labiis sum , quomodo audiet me Pharao ?
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለእግዚእ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ፀያፍ ፡ አነ ፡ እፎ ፡ ይሰምዐኒ ፡ ፈርዖን ።
Moses said before Yahweh, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?”
