5:1
וְאַתָּ֨ה בֶן־אָדָ֜ם קַח־לְךָ֣׀ חֶ֣רֶב חַדָּ֗ה תַּ֤עַר הַגַּלָּבִים֙ תִּקָּחֶ֣נָּה לָּ֔ךְ וְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ עַל־רֹאשְׁךָ֖ וְעַל־זְקָנֶ֑ךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ לְךָ֛ מֹאזְנֵ֥י מִשְׁקָ֖ל וְחִלַּקְתָּֽם׃
καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ σεαυτῷ ῥομφαίαν ὀξεῖαν ὑπὲρ ξυρὸν κουρέως κτήσῃ αὐτὴν σεαυτῷ καὶ ἐπάξεις αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλήν σου καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν πώγωνά σου καὶ λήμψῃ ζυγὸν σταθμίων καὶ διαστήσεις αὐτούς
Et tu, fili hominis, sume tibi gladium acutum, radentem pilos, et assumes eum et duces per caput tuum et per barbam tuam, et assumes tibi stateram ponderis et divides eos.
ወአንተ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ንሣእ፡ ለከ፡ ኲናተ፡ በሊኀ፡ ዘይበልኅ፡ እመላጼ፡ ቀራጺ፣፡ ተሣየጥ፡ ለከ፡ ወተላጸይ፡ ባቲ፡ ርእሰከ፡ ወጽሕመከ። ወትነሥእ፡ ለከ፡ እብነ፡ መዳልው፡ ወትደልዎ።
“You, son of man, take a sharp sword. You shall take it as a barber’s razor to yourself, and shall cause it to pass over your head and over your beard. Then take balances to weigh and divide the hair.
5:2
שְׁלִשִׁ֗ית בָּא֤וּר תַּבְעִיר֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֔יר כִּמְלֹ֖את יְמֵ֣י הַמָּצ֑וֹר וְלָקַחְתָּ֣ אֶת־הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֗ית תַּכֶּ֤ה בַחֶ֙רֶב֙ סְבִ֣יבוֹתֶ֔יהָ וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ תִּזְרֶ֣ה לָר֔וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃
τὸ τέταρτον ἐν πυρὶ ἀνακαύσεις ἐν μέσῃ τῇ πόλει κατὰ τὴν πλήρωσιν τῶν ἡμερῶν τοῦ συγκλεισμοῦ καὶ λήμψῃ τὸ τέταρτον καὶ κατακαύσεις αὐτὸ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ τέταρτον κατακόψεις ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ κύκλῳ αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ τέταρτον διασκορπίσεις τῷ πνεύματι καὶ μάχαιραν ἐκκενώσω ὀπίσω αὐτῶν
Tertiam partem igni combures in medio civitatis, juxta completionem dierum obsidionis, et assumes tertiam partem, et concides gladio in circuitu ejus : tertiam vero aliam disperges in ventum, et gladium nudabo post eos.
ሣልስተ፡ እዴሁ፡ ታውዒ፡ በማእከለ፡ ሀገር፡ በእሳት፡ ሶበ፡ ፈጸምከ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ዕጽወትከ፡ ወሣልስተ፡ ትጌምድ፡ በኲናት፡ በዐውዳ፡ ወሣልስተ፡ ትዘሩ፡ በነፋስ። ወአተሉ፡ መጥባሕትየ፡ ድኅሬሆሙ።
A third part you shall burn in the fire in the middle of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled. You shall take a third part, and strike with the sword around it. A third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.
5:3
וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ מִשָּׁ֖ם מְעַ֣ט בְּמִסְפָּ֑ר וְצַרְתָּ֥ אוֹתָ֖ם בִּכְנָפֶֽיךָ׃
καὶ λήμψῃ ἐκεῖθεν ὀλίγους ἐν ἀριθμῷ καὶ συμπεριλήμψῃ αὐτοὺς τῇ ἀναβολῇ σου
Et sumes inde parvum numerum, et ligabis eos in summitate pallii tui :
ወትነሥእ፡ እምህየ፡ ኅዳጣነ፡ በኍልቍ፡ ወትከድኖሙ፡ ክዳነከ።
You shall take a small number of these and bind them in the folds of your robe.
5:4
וּמֵהֶם֙ ע֣וֹד תִּקָּ֔ח וְהִשְׁלַכְתָּ֤ אוֹתָם֙ אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ הָאֵ֔שׁ וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם בָּאֵ֑שׁ מִמֶּ֥נּוּ תֵֽצֵא־אֵ֖שׁ אֶל־כׇּל־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐκ τούτων λήμψῃ ἔτι καὶ ῥίψεις αὐτοὺς εἰς μέσον τοῦ πυρὸς καὶ κατακαύσεις αὐτοὺς ἐν πυρί ἐξ αὐτῆς ἐξελεύσεται πῦρ καὶ ἐρεῖς παντὶ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ
et ex eis rursum tolles, et projicies eos in medio ignis, et combures eos igni, et ex eo egredietur ignis in omnem domum Israël.
ወዓዲ፡ ትነሥእ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ወትዌርዎሙ፡ ማእከለ፡ እሳት፡ ወታውዕዮሙ፡ በእሳት። ወይወፅእ፡ እሳት፡ እምኔሃ። ወትብሎሙ፡ ለኵሉ፡ ቤተ፡ እስራኤል።
Of these again you shall take, and cast them into the middle of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From it a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.
5:5
כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה זֹ֚את יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם בְּת֥וֹךְ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם שַׂמְתִּ֑יהָ וּסְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָ אֲרָצֽוֹת׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος αὕτη ἡ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἐθνῶν τέθεικα αὐτὴν καὶ τὰς κύκλῳ αὐτῆς χώρας
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ista est Jerusalem : in medio gentium posui eam, et in circuitu ejus terras.
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አዶናይ፡ በማእከለ፡ አሕዛብ፡ አንበርክዋ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወለአድያሚሃ።
“The Lord Yahweh says: ‘This is Jerusalem. I have set her in the middle of the nations, and countries are around her.
5:6
וַתֶּ֨מֶר אֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַ֤י לְרִשְׁעָה֙ מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְאֶ֨ת־חֻקּוֹתַ֔י מִן־הָאֲרָצ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתֶ֑יהָ כִּ֤י בְמִשְׁפָּטַי֙ מָאָ֔סוּ וְחֻקּוֹתַ֖י לֹא־הָלְכ֥וּ בָהֶֽם׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐρεῖς τὰ δικαιώματά μου τῇ ἀνόμῳ ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ τὰ νόμιμά μου ἐκ τῶν χωρῶν τῶν κύκλῳ αὐτῆς διότι τὰ δικαιώματά μου ἀπώσαντο καὶ ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις μου οὐκ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αὐτοῖς
Et contempsit judicia mea, ut plus esset impia quam gentes, et praecepta mea ultra quam terrae quae in circuitu ejus sunt : judicia enim mea projecerunt, et in praeceptis meis non ambulaverunt.
እስመ፡ አምረረት፡ ሕግየ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ኃጥኣን፡ ወሥርዓትየ፡ ለበሐውርት፡ ዘዐውዳ፡ እስመ፡ ኀደጉ፡ ሕግየ፡ ወኢገብሩ፡ በሥርዓትየ።
She has rebelled against my ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries that are around her; for they have rejected my ordinances, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.’
5:7
לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה יַ֤עַן הֲמׇנְכֶם֙ מִן־הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֔ם בְּחֻקּוֹתַי֙ לֹ֣א הֲלַכְתֶּ֔ם וְאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י לֹ֣א עֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם וּֽכְמִשְׁפְּטֵ֧י הַגּוֹיִ֛ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם לֹ֥א עֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ’ ὧν ἡ ἀφορμὴ ὑμῶν ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις μου οὐκ ἐπορεύθητε καὶ τὰ δικαιώματά μου οὐκ ἐποιήσατε ἀλλ’ οὐδὲ κατὰ τὰ δικαιώματα τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν οὐ πεποιήκατε
Idcirco haec dicit Dominus Deus : Quia superastis gentes quae in circuitu vestro sunt, et in praeceptis meis non ambulastis, et judicia mea non fecistis, et juxta judicia gentium quae in circuitu vestro sunt non estis operati,
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እስመ፡ ምክንያት፡ ኮንክሙ፡ ለአሕዛብ፡ እለ፡ ዐውድክሙ፡ ወኢገበርክሙ፡ በሕግየ፡ ወኢሖርክሙ፡ በሥርዓትየ፡ ወኢገበርክሙ፡ በሕገ፡ አሕዛብ፡ እለ፡ ዐውድክሙ።
“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are around you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my ordinances, neither have followed the ordinances of the nations that are around you;
5:8
לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ גַּם־אָ֑נִי וְעָשִׂ֧יתִי בְתוֹכֵ֛ךְ מִשְׁפָּטִ֖ים לְעֵינֵ֥י הַגּוֹיִֽם׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ποιήσω ἐν μέσῳ σου κρίμα ἐνώπιον τῶν ἐθνῶν
ideo haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego ad te, et ipse ego faciam in medio tui judicia in oculis gentium :
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አዶናይ፡ ናሁ፡ አነ፡ እኴንነኪ፡ በማእከሌኪ፡ በቅድመ፡ አሕዛብ።
therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.
5:9
וְעָשִׂ֣יתִי בָ֗ךְ אֵ֚ת אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־עָשִׂ֔יתִי וְאֵ֛ת אֲשֶֽׁר־לֹא־אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה כָמֹ֖הוּ ע֑וֹד יַ֖עַן כׇּל־תּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ׃ {פ}
καὶ ποιήσω ἐν σοὶ ἃ οὐ πεποίηκα καὶ ἃ οὐ ποιήσω ὅμοια αὐτοῖς ἔτι κατὰ πάντα τὰ βδελύγματά σου
et faciam in te quod non feci, et quibus similia ultra non faciam, propter omnes abominationes tuas.
ወእገብር፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ዘኢገበርኩ፡ ወኢይገብር፡ ዘከማሁ፡ በከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ርኵስኪ።
I will do in you that which I have not done, and which I will not do anything like it any more, because of all your abominations.
5:10
לָכֵ֗ן אָב֞וֹת יֹאכְל֤וּ בָנִים֙ בְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וּבָנִ֖ים יֹאכְל֣וּ אֲבוֹתָ֑ם וְעָשִׂ֤יתִי בָךְ֙ שְׁפָטִ֔ים וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אֶת־כׇּל־שְׁאֵרִיתֵ֖ךְ לְכׇל־רֽוּחַ׃ {ס}
διὰ τοῦτο πατέρες φάγονται τέκνα ἐν μέσῳ σου καὶ τέκνα φάγονται πατέρας καὶ ποιήσω ἐν σοὶ κρίματα καὶ διασκορπιῶ πάντας τοὺς καταλοίπους σου εἰς πάντα ἄνεμον
Ideo patres comedent filios in medio tui, et filii comedent patres suos : et faciam in te judicia, et ventilabo universas reliquias tuas in omnem ventum.
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ አበው፡ ይበውዑ፡ ውሉዶሙ፡ በማእከሌኪ፡ ወውሉድ፡ ይበልዑ፡ አበዊሆሙ። ወእትቤቀለኪ፡ ወእዘርዎሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ነፋሳት፡ ለእለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ውስቴትኪ።
Therefore the fathers will eat the sons within you, and the sons will eat their fathers. I will execute judgments on you; and I will scatter the whole remnant of you to all the winds.
5:11
לָכֵ֣ן חַי־אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִה֒ אִם־לֹ֗א יַ֚עַן אֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁ֣י טִמֵּ֔את בְּכׇל־שִׁקּוּצַ֖יִךְ וּבְכׇל־תּוֹעֲבֹתָ֑יִךְ וְגַם־אֲנִ֤י אֶגְרַע֙ וְלֹא־תָח֣וֹס עֵינִ֔י וְגַם־אֲנִ֖י לֹ֥א אֶחְמֽוֹל׃
διὰ τοῦτο ζῶ ἐγώ λέγει κύριος εἰ μὴ ἀνθ’ ὧν τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐμίανας ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς βδελύγμασίν σου κἀγὼ ἀπώσομαί σε οὐ φείσεταί μου ὁ ὀφθαλμός κἀγὼ οὐκ ἐλεήσω
Idcirco vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, nisi pro eo quod sanctum meum violasti in omnibus offensionibus tuis et in cunctis abominationibus tuis, ego quoque confringam : et non parcet oculus meus, et non miserebor.
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ሕያው፡ አነ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አዶናይ፡ ሶበ፡ አኮ፡ መቅደስየ፡ ዘአርኰስኪ፡ በኵሉ፡ ኃሣርኪ፡ ወበኵሉ፡ ርኵስኪ፡ ከማሁ፡ አነኒ፡ እገድፈኪ፡ ወዐይንየሂ፡ ኢይምሕከኪ፡ ወአነሂ፡ ኢይሠሀለኪ።
Therefore as I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you. My eye won’t spare, and I will have no pity.
5:12
שְׁלִשִׁתֵ֞יךְ בַּדֶּ֣בֶר יָמ֗וּתוּ וּבָֽרָעָב֙ יִכְל֣וּ בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וְהַ֨שְּׁלִשִׁ֔ית בַּחֶ֖רֶב יִפְּל֣וּ סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ וְהַשְּׁלִישִׁית֙ לְכׇל־ר֣וּחַ אֱזָרֶ֔ה וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃
τὸ τέταρτόν σου ἐν θανάτῳ ἀναλωθήσεται καὶ τὸ τέταρτόν σου ἐν λιμῷ συντελεσθήσεται ἐν μέσῳ σου καὶ τὸ τέταρτόν σου εἰς πάντα ἄνεμον σκορπιῶ αὐτούς καὶ τὸ τέταρτόν σου ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ πεσοῦνται κύκλῳ σου καὶ μάχαιραν ἐκκενώσω ὀπίσω αὐτῶν
Tertia pars tui peste morietur, et fame consumetur in medio tui, et tertia pars tui in gladio cadet in circuitu tuo : tertiam vero partem tuam in omnem ventum dispergam, et gladium evaginabo post eos.
ሣልስትኪ፡ በብድብድ፡ የኀልቁ፡ ወበረኃብ፡ ይመውቱ፡ በማእከሌኪ፡ ወለሣልስትኪ፡ እዘርዎሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ነፋሳት፡ ወሣልስትኪ፡ ይወድቁ፡ በኵናት፡ በዐውድኪ፡ ወእተልዎሙ፡ በመጥባሕት፡ በድኅሬሆሙ።
A third part of you will die with the pestilence, and they will be consumed with famine within you. A third part will fall by the sword around you. A third part I will scatter to all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.
5:13
וְכָלָ֣ה אַפִּ֗י וַהֲנִחוֹתִ֧י חֲמָתִ֛י בָּ֖ם וְהִנֶּחָ֑מְתִּי וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה דִּבַּ֙רְתִּי֙ בְּקִנְאָתִ֔י בְּכַלּוֹתִ֥י חֲמָתִ֖י בָּֽם׃
καὶ συντελεσθήσεται ὁ θυμός μου καὶ ἡ ὀργή μου ἐπ’ αὐτούς καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα ἐν ζήλῳ μου ἐν τῷ συντελέσαι με τὴν ὀργήν μου ἐπ’ αὐτούς
Et complebo furorem meum, et requiescere faciam indignationem meam in eis, et consolabor : et scient quia ego Dominus locutus sum in zelo meo, cum implevero indignationem meam in eis.
ወእሤልጥ፡ መዐትየ፡ ወመቅሠፍትየ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ወተአምሪ፡ ከመ፡ አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘነበብኩ፡ በቅንአትየ፡ ሶበ፡ ሠለጥኩ፡ መዐትየ፡ በላዕሌሆሙ።
“‘Thus my anger will be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I will be comforted. They will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath on them.
5:14
וְאֶתְּנֵךְ֙ לְחׇרְבָּ֣ה וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ לְעֵינֵ֖י כׇּל־עוֹבֵֽר׃
καὶ θήσομαί σε εἰς ἔρημον καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας σου κύκλῳ σου ἐνώπιον παντὸς διοδεύοντος
Et dabo te in desertum, et in opprobrium gentibus quae in circuitu tuo sunt, in conspectu omnis praetereuntis :
ወአጠፍአኪ፡ ምስለ፡ አዋልድኪ፡ በዐውድኪ፡ በቅድመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ኃላፊት።
“‘Moreover I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are around you, in the sight of all that pass by.
5:15
וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה חֶרְפָּ֤ה וּגְדוּפָה֙ מוּסָ֣ר וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה לַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ בַּעֲשׂ֩וֹתִי֩ בָ֨ךְ שְׁפָטִ֜ים בְּאַ֤ף וּבְחֵמָה֙ וּבְתֹכְח֣וֹת חֵמָ֔ה אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃
καὶ ἔσῃ στενακτὴ καὶ δηλαϊστὴ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τοῖς κύκλῳ σου ἐν τῷ ποιῆσαί με ἐν σοὶ κρίματα ἐν ἐκδικήσει θυμοῦ μου ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα
et eris opprobrium et blasphemia, exemplum et stupor in gentibus quae in circuitu tuo sunt, cum fecero in te judicia in furore, et in indignatione, et in increpationibus irae.
ወትትመነደቢ፡ ወትደነግፂ፡ በኀበ፡ አሕዛብ፡ እለ፡ ዐውድኪ፣፡ ሶበ፡ ተበቀልኩኪ፡ በመዐትየ፡ ወበመቅሠፍትየ።
So it will be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, to the nations that are around you, when I execute judgments on you in anger and in wrath, and in wrathful rebukes—I, Yahweh, have spoken it—
5:16
בְּֽשַׁלְּחִ֡י אֶת־חִצֵּי֩ הָרָעָ֨ב הָרָעִ֤ים בָּהֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָי֣וּ לְמַשְׁחִ֔ית אֲשֶׁר־אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח אוֹתָ֖ם לְשַׁחֶתְכֶ֑ם וְרָעָב֙ אֹסֵ֣ף עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֥י לָכֶ֖ם מַטֵּה־לָֽחֶם׃
ἐν τῷ ἐξαποστεῖλαί με τὰς βολίδας μου τοῦ λιμοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ἔκλειψιν καὶ συντρίψω στήριγμα ἄρτου σου
Ego Dominus locutus sum : quando misero sagittas famis pessimas in eos, quae erunt mortiferae, et quas mittam ut disperdam vos : et famem congregabo super vos, et conteram in vobis baculum panis :
አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘነበኩ፡ ከመ፡ እፌኑ፡ አሕፃየ፡ ዘረኃብ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፣፡ ወእፌንዎሙ፡ ያኅልቁክሙ፡ በረኃብ፡ ወአጠፍእ፡ እክለኪ።
when I send on them the evil arrows of famine that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you. I will increase the famine on you and will break your staff of bread.
5:17
וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣י עֲ֠לֵיכֶ֠ם רָעָ֞ב וְחַיָּ֤ה רָעָה֙ וְשִׁכְּלֻ֔ךְ וְדֶ֥בֶר וָדָ֖ם יַעֲבׇר־בָּ֑ךְ וְחֶ֙רֶב֙ אָבִ֣יא עָלַ֔יִךְ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ ἐπὶ σὲ λιμὸν καὶ θηρία πονηρὰ καὶ τιμωρήσομαί σε καὶ θάνατος καὶ αἷμα διελεύσονται ἐπὶ σέ καὶ ῥομφαίαν ἐπάξω ἐπὶ σὲ κυκλόθεν ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα
et immittam in vos famem et bestias pessimas, usque ad internecionem : et pestilentia et sanguis transibunt per te, et gladium inducam super te. Ego Dominus locutus sum.
ወእፌኑ፡ ረኃበ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ወአርዌ፡ እኩየ፡ ወእቀሥፈኪ፣፡ ወይመጽእ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ብድብድ፡ ወኲናት፣፡ ወደመ፡ አመጽእ፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ወየዐግቱኪ። አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘነበብኩ።
I will send on you famine and evil animals, and they will bereave you. Pestilence and blood will pass through you. I will bring the sword on you. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.’”
