32:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֵ֥ן לְצֶ֖דֶק יִמְלׇךְ ־מֶ֑לֶךְ וּלְשָׂרִ֖ים לְמִשְׁפָּ֥ט יָשֹֽׂרוּ ׃
ἰδοὺ γὰρ βασιλεὺς δίκαιος βασιλεύσει καὶ ἄρχοντες μετὰ κρίσεως ἄρξουσιν
Ecce in justitia regnabit rex , et principes in judicio praeerunt .
እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ ይነግሥ ፡ ወመላእክትኒ ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ይኴንኑ ።
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.
32:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיָה ־אִ֥ישׁ כְּמַחֲבֵא ־ר֖וּחַ וְסֵ֣תֶר זָ֑רֶם כְּפַלְגֵי ־מַ֣יִם בְּצָי֔וֹן כְּצֵ֥ל סֶלַע ־כָּבֵ֖ד בְּאֶ֥רֶץ עֲיֵפָֽה ׃
καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἄνθρωπος κρύπτων τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ καὶ κρυβήσεται ὡς ἀφ’ ὕδατος φερομένου καὶ φανήσεται ἐν Σιων ὡς ποταμὸς φερόμενος ἔνδοξος ἐν γῇ διψώσῃ
Et erit vir sicut qui absconditur a vento , et celat se a tempestate ; sicut rivi aquarum in siti , et umbra petrae prominentis in terra deserta .
ወየኀብእ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ወይትኀባእ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘይሠጠም ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቀላይ ፤ ወያስተርኢ ፡ በጽዮን ፡ ከመ ፡ ፈለግ ፡ ዘይውኅዝ ፡ ክብሩ ፡ በምድር ፡ ጽምእት ።
A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.
32:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁעֶ֖ינָה עֵינֵ֣י רֹאִ֑ים וְאׇזְנֵ֥י שֹׁמְעִ֖ים תִּקְשַֽׁבְנָה ׃
καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται πεποιθότες ἐπ’ ἀνθρώποις ἀλλὰ τὰ ὦτα δώσουσιν ἀκούειν
Non caligabunt oculi videntium , et aures audientium diligenter auscultabunt .
ወኢይትዌከሉ ፡ እንከ ፡ በእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ዳእሙ ፡ ያጸምዑ ፡ በእዝኖሙ ።
The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
32:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּלְבַ֥ב נִמְהָרִ֖ים יָבִ֣ין לָדָ֑עַת וּלְשׁ֣וֹן עִלְּגִ֔ים תְּמַהֵ֖ר לְדַבֵּ֥ר צָחֽוֹת ׃
καὶ ἡ καρδία τῶν ἀσθενούντων προσέξει τοῦ ἀκούειν καὶ αἱ γλῶσσαι αἱ ψελλίζουσαι ταχὺ μαθήσονται λαλεῖν εἰρήνην
Et cor stultorum intelliget scientiam , et lingua balborum velociter loquetur et plane .
ወልብ ፡ ድኩም ፡ ይሰምዕ ፡ አእምሮ ፤ ወልሳንኒ ፡ ጸያፍ ፡ ፍጡነ ፡ ይትሜሀር ፡ ነገረ ፡ ሰላም ።
The heart of the rash will understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.
32:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֹא ־יִקָּרֵ֥א ע֛וֹד לְנָבָ֖ל נָדִ֑יב וּלְכִילַ֕י לֹ֥א יֵאָמֵ֖ר שֽׁוֹעַ ׃
καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ εἴπωσιν τῷ μωρῷ ἄρχειν καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ εἴπωσιν οἱ ὑπηρέται σου σίγα
Non vocabitur ultra is qui insipiens est , princeps , neque fraudulentus appellabitur major ;
ወኢያጽሕብዎ ፡ እንከ ፡ ለአብድ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩን ፡ መልአከ ፣፡ ወኢይብለከ ፡ እንከ ፡ ወዓሊከ ፤ አርምም ።
The fool will no longer be called noble, nor the scoundrel be highly respected.
32:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֤י נָבָל֙ נְבָלָ֣ה יְדַבֵּ֔ר וְלִבּ֖וֹ יַעֲשֶׂה ־אָ֑וֶן לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת חֹ֗נֶף וּלְדַבֵּ֤ר אֶל ־יְהֹוָה֙ תּוֹעָ֔ה לְהָרִיק֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁ רָעֵ֔ב וּמַשְׁקֶ֥ה צָמֵ֖א יַחְסִֽיר ׃
ὁ γὰρ μωρὸς μωρὰ λαλήσει καὶ ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ μάταια νοήσει τοῦ συντελεῖν ἄνομα καὶ λαλεῖν πρὸς κύριον πλάνησιν τοῦ διασπεῖραι ψυχὰς πεινώσας καὶ τὰς ψυχὰς τὰς διψώσας κενὰς ποιῆσαι
stultus enim fatua loquetur , et cor ejus faciet iniquitatem , ut perficiat simulationem , et loquatur ad Dominum fraudulenter , et vacuam faciat animam esurientis , et potum sitienti auferat .
እስመ ፡ አብድሰ ፡ እበደ ፡ ይነብብ ፡ ወልቡኒ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ ይሔሊ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይግበር ፡ ዓመፃ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይንብብ ፡ ኃጢአተ ፡ በኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዝሩ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ርኅብተ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ያዕርቅ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ጽምእተ ።
For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice profanity, and to utter error against Yahweh, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
32:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכֵלַ֖י כֵּלָ֣יו רָעִ֑ים ה֚וּא זִמּ֣וֹת יָעָ֔ץ לְחַבֵּ֤ל (ענוים ) [עֲנִיִּים֙ ] בְּאִמְרֵי ־שֶׁ֔קֶר וּבְדַבֵּ֥ר אֶבְי֖וֹן מִשְׁפָּֽט ׃
ἡ γὰρ βουλὴ τῶν πονηρῶν ἄνομα βουλεύσεται καταφθεῖραι ταπεινοὺς ἐν λόγοις ἀδίκοις καὶ διασκεδάσαι λόγους ταπεινῶν ἐν κρίσει
Fraudulenti vasa pessima sunt ; ipse enim cogitationes concinnavit ad perdendos mites in sermone mendacii , cum loqueretur pauper judicium .
እስመ ፡ ሕሊናሆሙ ፡ ለእኩያን ፡ ዓመፃ ፡ ትመክር ፡ ከመ ፡ ይቅትልዎ ፡ ለነዳይ ፡ በነገረ ፡ ዓመፃሆሙ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይገፍትዑ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ምስኪናን ።
The ways of the scoundrel are evil. He devises wicked plans to destroy the humble with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.
32:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָדִ֖יב נְדִיב֣וֹת יָעָ֑ץ וְה֖וּא עַל ־נְדִיב֥וֹת יָקֽוּם ׃ {ס}
οἱ δὲ εὐσεβεῖς συνετὰ ἐβουλεύσαντο καὶ αὕτη ἡ βουλὴ μενεῖ
Princeps vero ea quae digna sunt principe cogitabit , et ipse super duces stabit .
ጻድቃንሰ ፡ ጥበበ ፡ ይመክሩ ፡ ወትነብር ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ምክር ።
But the noble devises noble things, and he will continue in noble things.
32:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ נָשִׁים֙ שַׁאֲנַנּ֔וֹת קֹ֖מְנָה שְׁמַ֣עְנָה קוֹלִ֑י בָּנוֹת֙ בֹּֽטְח֔וֹת הַאְזֵ֖נָּה אִמְרָתִֽי ׃
γυναῖκες πλούσιαι ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀκούσατε τῆς φωνῆς μου θυγατέρες ἐν ἐλπίδι ἀκούσατε τοὺς λόγους μου
Mulieres opulentae , surgite , et audite vocem meam ; filiae confidentes , percipite auribus eloquium meum .
አንስት ፡ ብዑላት ፡ ተንሥኣ ፡ ወስምዓ ፡ ቃልየ ፤ አዋልድ ፡ ምእመናት ፡ አጽምዓኒ ፡ ነገርየ ።
Rise up, you women who are at ease! Hear my voice! You careless daughters, give ear to my speech!
32:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָמִים֙ עַל ־שָׁנָ֔ה תִּרְגַּ֖זְנָה בֹּטְח֑וֹת כִּ֚י כָּלָ֣ה בָצִ֔יר אֹ֖סֶף בְּלִ֥י יָבֽוֹא ׃
ἡμέρας ἐνιαυτοῦ μνείαν ποιήσασθε ἐν ὀδύνῃ μετ’ ἐλπίδος ἀνήλωται ὁ τρύγητος πέπαυται ὁ σπόρος καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ ἔλθῃ
Post dies enim et annum , vos conturbabimini confidentes ; consummata est enim vindemia , collectio ultra non veniet .
ለለዓመት ፡ ግበራ ፡ ተዝካረ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ሕማም ፡ እንተ ፡ ትትሐዘባ ።
For days beyond a year you will be troubled, you careless women; for the vintage will fail. The harvest won’t come.
32:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ חִרְדוּ֙ שַֽׁאֲנַנּ֔וֹת רְגָ֖זָה בֹּטְח֑וֹת פְּשֹׁ֣טָֽה וְעֹ֔רָה וַחֲג֖וֹרָה עַל ־חֲלָצָֽיִם ׃
ἔκστητε λυπήθητε αἱ πεποιθυῖαι ἐκδύσασθε γυμναὶ γένεσθε περιζώσασθε σάκκους τὰς ὀσφύας
Obstupescite , opulentae ; conturbamini , confidentes : exuite vos et confundimini ; accingite lumbos vestros .
ደንግፃ ፡ ወተክዛ ፡ እለ ፡ ትትአመና ፣፡ ዕርቃ ፡ ወተሰለባ ፡ እስራ ፡ ሐቌክን ።
Tremble, you women who are at ease! Be troubled, you careless ones! Strip yourselves, make yourselves naked, and put sackcloth on your waist.
32:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־שָׁדַ֖יִם סֹפְדִ֑ים עַל ־שְׂדֵי ־חֶ֕מֶד עַל ־גֶּ֖פֶן פֹּרִיָּֽה ׃
καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν μαστῶν κόπτεσθε ἀπὸ ἀγροῦ ἐπιθυμήματος καὶ ἀμπέλου γενήματος
Super ubera plangite , super regione desiderabili , super vinea fertili .
ኅፍጣ ፡ አጥባተክን ፡ በእንተ ፡ ገራህት ፡ መፍትው ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ዐፀደ ፡ ወይን ፡ መፍርይ ።
Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
32:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַ֚ל אַדְמַ֣ת עַמִּ֔י ק֥וֹץ שָׁמִ֖יר תַּעֲלֶ֑ה כִּ֚י עַל ־כׇּל ־בָּתֵּ֣י מָשׂ֔וֹשׂ קִרְיָ֖ה עַלִּיזָֽה ׃
ἡ γῆ τοῦ λαοῦ μου ἄκανθα καὶ χόρτος ἀναβήσεται καὶ ἐκ πάσης οἰκίας εὐφροσύνη ἀρθήσεται πόλις πλουσία
Super humum populi mei spinae et vepres ascendent : quanto magis super omnes domos gaudii civitatis exultantis !
በእንተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ መፍትው ፡ ይበቍል ፡ ሦክ ፡ ወአሜከላ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገራውሂሆሙ ፡ ወይሠዐር ፡ ትፍሥሕት ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ አብያቲሆሙ ፤ ሀገር ፡ ብዕልት ፡ ትመዘብር ።
Thorns and briers will come up on my people’s land; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
32:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־אַרְמ֣וֹן נֻטָּ֔שׁ הֲמ֥וֹן עִ֖יר עֻזָּ֑ב עֹ֣פֶל וָבַ֜חַן הָיָ֨ה בְעַ֤ד מְעָרוֹת֙ עַד ־עוֹלָ֔ם מְשׂ֥וֹשׂ פְּרָאִ֖ים מִרְעֵ֥ה עֲדָרִֽים ׃
οἶκοι ἐγκαταλελειμμένοι πλοῦτον πόλεως καὶ οἴκους ἐπιθυμητοὺς ἀφήσουσιν καὶ ἔσονται αἱ κῶμαι σπήλαια ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος εὐφροσύνη ὄνων ἀγρίων βοσκήματα ποιμένων
Domus enim dimissa est , multitudo urbis relicta est , tenebrae et palpatio factae sunt super speluncas usque in aeternum ; gaudium onagrorum , pascua gregum .
አብያቲሃ ፣፡ የኀድጉ ፡ ሀገሪሆሙ ፡ ብዕለ ፡ ወትርሲተ ፡ አብያቲሆሙ ፣፡ ወይከውን ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ ፡ በአቃተ ፡ እስከ ፡ ለዓለም ፣፡ በዓሎሙ ፡ ለአእዱገ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወለመራዕየ ፡ እንስሳ ።
For the palace will be forsaken. The populous city will be deserted. The hill and the watchtower will be for dens forever, a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks,
32:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַד ־יֵ֨עָרֶ֥ה עָלֵ֛ינוּ ר֖וּחַ מִמָּר֑וֹם וְהָיָ֤ה מִדְבָּר֙ לַכַּרְמֶ֔ל (וכרמל ) [וְהַכַּרְמֶ֖ל ] לַיַּ֥עַר יֵחָשֵֽׁב ׃
ἕως ἂν ἐπέλθῃ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς πνεῦμα ἀφ’ ὑψηλοῦ καὶ ἔσται ἔρημος ὁ Χερμελ καὶ ὁ Χερμελ εἰς δρυμὸν λογισθήσεται
Donec effundatur super nos spiritus de excelso , et erit desertum in carmel , et carmel in saltum reputabitur .
እስከ ፡ ይመጽእ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ እምአርያም ።
until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest.
32:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשָׁכַ֥ן בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה בַּכַּרְמֶ֥ל תֵּשֵֽׁב ׃
καὶ ἀναπαύσεται ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ κρίμα καὶ δικαιοσύνη ἐν τῷ Καρμήλῳ κατοικήσει
Et habitabit in solitudine judicium , et justitia in carmel sedebit .
ወየዐርፍ ፡ ፍትሑ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወጽድቁሂ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቀርሜሎስ ፡ የኀድር ።
Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.
32:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיָ֛ה מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה הַצְּדָקָ֖ה שָׁל֑וֹם וַֽעֲבֹדַת֙ הַצְּדָקָ֔ה הַשְׁקֵ֥ט וָבֶ֖טַח עַד ־עוֹלָֽם ׃
καὶ ἔσται τὰ ἔργα τῆς δικαιοσύνης εἰρήνη καὶ κρατήσει ἡ δικαιοσύνη ἀνάπαυσιν καὶ πεποιθότες ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος
Et erit opus justitiae pax , et cultus justitiae silentium , et securitas usque in sempiternum .
ወይከውን ፡ ሰላም ፡ ወምግባረ ፡ ጽድቅ ፣፡ ወትእኅዝ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ መካነ ፡ ምዕራፍ ፡ ወይትዌከሉ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ለዓለም ።
The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
32:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיָשַׁ֥ב עַמִּ֖י בִּנְוֵ֣ה שָׁל֑וֹם וּֽבְמִשְׁכְּנוֹת֙ מִבְטַחִ֔ים וּבִמְנוּחֹ֖ת שַׁאֲנַנּֽוֹת ׃
καὶ κατοικήσει ὁ λαὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν πόλει εἰρήνης καὶ ἐνοικήσει πεποιθώς καὶ ἀναπαύσονται μετὰ πλούτου
Et sedebit populus meus in pulchritudine pacis , et in tabernaculis fiduciae , et in requie opulenta .
ወይነብር ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ሰላም ፡ ወይነብር ፡ ተአሚኖ ፡ ወየዐርፍ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ብዕል ።
My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places,
32:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבָרַ֖ד בְּרֶ֣דֶת הַיָּ֑עַר וּבַשִּׁפְלָ֖ה תִּשְׁפַּ֥ל הָעִֽיר ׃
ἡ δὲ χάλαζα ἐὰν καταβῇ οὐκ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ἥξει καὶ ἔσονται οἱ ἐνοικοῦντες ἐν τοῖς δρυμοῖς πεποιθότες ὡς οἱ ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ
Grando autem in descensione saltus , et humilitate humiliabitur civitas .
እመኒ ፡ ወረደ ፡ በረድ ፡ ኢይበጽሐክሙ ።
though hail flattens the forest, and the city is leveled completely.
32:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַשְׁרֵיכֶ֕ם זֹרְעֵ֖י עַל ־כׇּל ־מָ֑יִם מְשַׁלְּחֵ֥י רֶגֶל ־הַשּׁ֖וֹר וְהַחֲמֽוֹר ׃ {ס}
μακάριοι οἱ σπείροντες ἐπὶ πᾶν ὕδωρ οὗ βοῦς καὶ ὄνος πατεῖ
Beati qui seminatis super omnes aquas , immittentes pedem bovis et asini .
ብፁዓን ፡ እለ ፡ ይዘርኡ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ማየ ፡ ወኀበ ፡ ይከይዶ ፡ ላህም ፡ ወአድግ ።
Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send out the feet of the ox and the donkey.
