33:1
ה֣וֹי שׁוֹדֵ֗ד וְאַתָּה֙ לֹ֣א שָׁד֔וּד וּבוֹגֵ֖ד וְלֹא־בָ֣גְדוּ ב֑וֹ כַּהֲתִֽמְךָ֤ שׁוֹדֵד֙ תּוּשַּׁ֔ד כַּנְּלֹתְךָ֥ לִבְגֹּ֖ד יִבְגְּדוּ־בָֽךְ׃ {ס}
οὐαὶ τοῖς ταλαιπωροῦσιν ὑμᾶς ὑμᾶς δὲ οὐδεὶς ποιεῖ ταλαιπώρους καὶ ὁ ἀθετῶν ὑμᾶς οὐκ ἀθετεῖ ἁλώσονται οἱ ἀθετοῦντες καὶ παραδοθήσονται καὶ ὡς σὴς ἐπὶ ἱματίου οὕτως ἡττηθήσονται
Vae qui praedaris ! nonne et ipse praedaberis ? et qui spernis, nonne et ipse sperneris ? Cum consummaveris depraedationem, depraedaberis ; cum fatigatus desieris contemnere, contemneris.
አሌ፡ ሎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ያኀሥሩክሙ፣፡ ወለክሙሰ፡ አልቦ፡ ዘያኀሥረክሙ፤ ዘሂ፡ ለክሙ፡ ዐለወ፡ አኮ፡ ኪያክሙ፡ ዘዐለወ።
Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.
33:2
יְהֹוָ֥ה חׇנֵּ֖נוּ לְךָ֣ קִוִּ֑ינוּ הֱיֵ֤ה זְרֹעָם֙ לַבְּקָרִ֔ים אַף־יְשׁוּעָתֵ֖נוּ בְּעֵ֥ת צָרָֽה׃
κύριε ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς ἐπὶ σοὶ γὰρ πεποίθαμεν ἐγενήθη τὸ σπέρμα τῶν ἀπειθούντων εἰς ἀπώλειαν ἡ δὲ σωτηρία ἡμῶν ἐν καιρῷ θλίψεως
Domine, miserere nostri, te enim exspectavimus ; esto brachium nostrum in mane, et salus nostra in tempore tribulationis.
እግዚኦ፡ ተሠሀለነ፡ እስመ፡ ኪያከ፡ ተወከልነ።
Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
33:3
מִקּ֣וֹל הָמ֔וֹן נָדְד֖וּ עַמִּ֑ים מֵר֣וֹמְמֻתֶ֔ךָ נָפְצ֖וּ גּוֹיִֽם׃
διὰ φωνὴν τοῦ φόβου σου ἐξέστησαν λαοὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ φόβου σου καὶ διεσπάρησαν τὰ ἔθνη
A voce angeli fugerunt populi, et ab exaltatione tua dispersae sunt gentes.
ወእምግርማ፡ ቃሉ፡ ደንገፁ፡ አሕዛብ፡ በፈሪሆትከ፡ ወተዘርዉ፡ አሕዛብ።
At the noise of the thunder, the peoples have fled. When you lift yourself up, the nations are scattered.
33:4
וְאֻסַּ֣ף שְׁלַלְכֶ֔ם אֹ֖סֶף הֶחָסִ֑יל כְּמַשַּׁ֥ק גֵּבִ֖ים שֹׁקֵ֥ק בּֽוֹ׃
νῦν δὲ συναχθήσεται τὰ σκῦλα ὑμῶν μικροῦ καὶ μεγάλου ὃν τρόπον ἐάν τις συναγάγῃ ἀκρίδας οὕτως ἐμπαίξουσιν ὑμῖν
Et congregabuntur spolia vestra sicut colligitur bruchus, velut cum fossae plenae fuerint de eo.
ወይእዜኒ፡ ናሁ፡ ይትጋብኡ፡ ምህርካክሙ፡ ንኡሱ፡ ወዓቢዩ፤ ከመ፡ ዘያስተጋብእ፡ አንበጣ፡ ከማሁ፡ ይትዌነይ፡ ብክሙ።
Your plunder will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men will leap on it as locusts leap.
33:5
נִשְׂגָּ֣ב יְהֹוָ֔ה כִּ֥י שֹׁכֵ֖ן מָר֑וֹם מִלֵּ֣א צִיּ֔וֹן מִשְׁפָּ֖ט וּצְדָקָֽה׃
ἅγιος ὁ θεὸς ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν ὑψηλοῖς ἐνεπλήσθη Σιων κρίσεως καὶ δικαιοσύνης
Magnificatus est Dominus, quoniam habitavit in excelso ; implevit Sion judicio et justitia.
ቅዱስ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘየኀድር፡ ውስተ፡ አርያም፡ ወመልአት፡ ጽዮን፡ ጽድቀ፡ ወርትዐ።
Yahweh is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
33:6
וְהָיָה֙ אֱמוּנַ֣ת עִתֶּ֔יךָ חֹ֥סֶן יְשׁוּעֹ֖ת חׇכְמַ֣ת וָדָ֑עַת יִרְאַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה הִ֥יא אוֹצָרֽוֹ׃ {פ}
ἐν νόμῳ παραδοθήσονται ἐν θησαυροῖς ἡ σωτηρία ἡμῶν ἐκεῖ σοφία καὶ ἐπιστήμη καὶ εὐσέβεια πρὸς τὸν κύριον οὗτοί εἰσιν θησαυροὶ δικαιοσύνης
Et erit fides in temporibus tuis : divitiae salutis sapientia et scientia ; timor Domini ipse est thesaurus ejus.
ወያገብእዎሙ፡ በሕግ፡ ውስተ፡ መዛግብተ፡ መድኃኒትነ።
There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh is your treasure.
33:7
הֵ֚ן אֶרְאֶלָּ֔ם צָעֲק֖וּ חֻ֑צָה מַלְאֲכֵ֣י שָׁל֔וֹם מַ֖ר יִבְכָּיֽוּן׃
ἰδοὺ δὴ ἐν τῷ φόβῳ ὑμῶν αὐτοὶ φοβηθήσονται οὓς ἐφοβεῖσθε φοβηθήσονται ἀφ’ ὑμῶν ἄγγελοι γὰρ ἀποσταλήσονται ἀξιοῦντες εἰρήνην πικρῶς κλαίοντες παρακαλοῦντες εἰρήνην
Ecce videntes clamabunt foris ; angeli pacis amare flebunt.
ናሁ፡ በግርማክሙ፡ ፈርሁክሙ፡ እለ፡ ቀዲሙ፡ ትፈርህዎሙ፡ አንትሙ፡ ወይርዕዱ፡ እምኔክሙ፤ ወይትፌነዉ፡ ሐዋርያት፡ እንዘ፡ መሪረ፡ ይበክዩ፡ ወይስእሉ፡ ሰላመ።
Behold, their valiant ones cry outside; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
33:8
נָשַׁ֣מּוּ מְסִלּ֔וֹת שָׁבַ֖ת עֹבֵ֣ר אֹ֑רַח הֵפֵ֤ר בְּרִית֙ מָאַ֣ס עָרִ֔ים לֹ֥א חָשַׁ֖ב אֱנֽוֹשׁ׃
ἐρημωθήσονται γὰρ αἱ τούτων ὁδοί πέπαυται ὁ φόβος τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἡ πρὸς τούτους διαθήκη αἴρεται καὶ οὐ μὴ λογίσησθε αὐτοὺς ἀνθρώπους
Dissipatae sunt viae, cessavit transiens per semitam : irritum factum est pactum, projecit civitates, non reputavit homines.
እስመ፡ ማሰነ፡ ፍኖቶሙ፡ ወኀለፈ፡ ግርማሆሙ፡ ለአሕዛብ፡ ወተሥዕረ፡ ኪዳኖሙ፡ ወኢትረስይዎሙ፡ ከመ፡ ዕደው።
The highways are desolate. The traveling man ceases. The covenant is broken. He has despised the cities. He doesn’t respect man.
33:9
אָבַ֤ל אֻמְלְלָה֙ אָ֔רֶץ הֶחְפִּ֥יר לְבָנ֖וֹן קָמַ֑ל הָיָ֤ה הַשָּׁרוֹן֙ כָּֽעֲרָבָ֔ה וְנֹעֵ֥ר בָּשָׁ֖ן וְכַרְמֶֽל׃ {ס}
ἐπένθησεν ἡ γῆ ᾐσχύνθη ὁ Λίβανος ἕλη ἐγένετο ὁ Σαρων φανερὰ ἔσται ἡ Γαλιλαία καὶ ὁ Κάρμηλος
Luxit et elanguit terra ; confusus est Libanus, et obsorduit : et factus est Saron sicut desertum, et concussa est Basan, et Carmelus.
ላሐወት፡ ምድር፡ ወተኀፍረ፡ ሊባኖስ፣፡ ዖመ፡ ኮነ፡ ሳሮን።
The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.
33:10
עַתָּ֥ה אָק֖וּם יֹאמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה עַתָּה֙ אֵֽרוֹמָ֔ם עַתָּ֖ה אֶנָּשֵֽׂא׃
νῦν ἀναστήσομαι λέγει κύριος νῦν δοξασθήσομαι νῦν ὑψωθήσομαι
Nunc consurgam, dicit Dominus ; nunc exaltabor, nunc sublevabor.
ናሁ፡ ይእዜ፡ እትነሣእ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፣፡ ይእዜ፡ እሴባሕ፡ ወይእዜ፡ እትሌዐል፡ አነ።
“Now I will arise,” says Yahweh. “Now I will lift myself up. Now I will be exalted.
33:11
תַּהֲר֥וּ חֲשַׁ֖שׁ תֵּ֣לְדוּ קַ֑שׁ רוּחֲכֶ֕ם אֵ֖שׁ תֹּאכַלְכֶֽם׃
νῦν ὄψεσθε νῦν αἰσθηθήσεσθε ματαία ἔσται ἡ ἰσχὺς τοῦ πνεύματος ὑμῶν πῦρ ὑμᾶς κατέδεται
Concipietis ardorem, parietis stipulam ; spiritus vester ut ignis vorabit vos.
ይእዜ፡ ትሬእዩ፡ ወይእዜ፡ ታነክሩ፤ ይከውን፡ ከንቶ፡ ኃይለ፡ መነፈስክሙ፡ ወእሳት፡ ትበልዐክሙ።
You will conceive chaff. You will give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you.
33:12
וְהָי֥וּ עַמִּ֖ים מִשְׂרְפ֣וֹת שִׂ֑יד קוֹצִ֥ים כְּסוּחִ֖ים בָּאֵ֥שׁ יִצַּֽתּוּ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἔσονται ἔθνη κατακεκαυμένα ὡς ἄκανθα ἐν ἀγρῷ ἐρριμμένη καὶ κατακεκαυμένη
Et erunt populi quasi de incendio cinis ; spinae congregatae igni comburentur.
ወይከውኑ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ከመ፡ ዋዕየ፡ ሦክ፡ ዘገዳም፡ ውዑያነ፡ ወግዱፋነ።
The peoples will be like the burning of lime, like thorns that are cut down and burned in the fire.
33:13
שִׁמְע֥וּ רְחוֹקִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֑יתִי וּדְע֥וּ קְרוֹבִ֖ים גְּבֻרָתִֽי׃
ἀκούσονται οἱ πόρρωθεν ἃ ἐποίησα γνώσονται οἱ ἐγγίζοντες τὴν ἰσχύν μου
Audite, qui longe estis, quae fecerim ; et cognoscite, vicini, fortitudinem meam.
ወይሰምዑ፡ ዘገበርኩ፡ እለሂ፡ እምርኁቅ፣፡ ወእለሂ፡ እምቅሩብ፡ የአምሩ፡ ኃይልየ።
Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.”
33:14
פָּחֲד֤וּ בְצִיּוֹן֙ חַטָּאִ֔ים אָחֲזָ֥ה רְעָדָ֖ה חֲנֵפִ֑ים מִ֣י׀ יָג֣וּר לָ֗נוּ אֵ֚שׁ אֽוֹכֵלָ֔ה מִֽי־יָג֥וּר לָ֖נוּ מוֹקְדֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם׃
ἀπέστησαν οἱ ἐν Σιων ἄνομοι λήμψεται τρόμος τοὺς ἀσεβεῖς τίς ἀναγγελεῖ ὑμῖν ὅτι πῦρ καίεται τίς ἀναγγελεῖ ὑμῖν τὸν τόπον τὸν αἰώνιον
Conterriti sunt in Sion peccatores ; possedit tremor hypocritas. Quis poterit habitare de vobis cum igne devorante ? quis habitabit ex vobis cum ardoribus sempiternis ?
ዐለዉኒ፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽዮን፡ ወዐመፁኒ፤ ናሁ፡ ይእኅዞሙ፡ ረዓድ፡ ለኃጥኣን።
The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning?
33:15
הֹלֵ֣ךְ צְדָק֔וֹת וְדֹבֵ֖ר מֵישָׁרִ֑ים מֹאֵ֞ס בְּבֶ֣צַע מַעֲשַׁקּ֗וֹת נֹעֵ֤ר כַּפָּיו֙ מִתְּמֹ֣ךְ בַּשֹּׁ֔חַד אֹטֵ֤ם אׇזְנוֹ֙ מִשְּׁמֹ֣עַ דָּמִ֔ים וְעֹצֵ֥ם עֵינָ֖יו מֵרְא֥וֹת בְּרָֽע׃
πορευόμενος ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ λαλῶν εὐθεῖαν ὁδόν μισῶν ἀνομίαν καὶ ἀδικίαν καὶ τὰς χεῖρας ἀποσειόμενος ἀπὸ δώρων βαρύνων τὰ ὦτα ἵνα μὴ ἀκούσῃ κρίσιν αἵματος καμμύων τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ἵνα μὴ ἴδῃ ἀδικίαν
Qui ambulat in justitiis et loquitur veritatem, qui projicit avaritiam ex calumnia, et excutit manus suas ab omni munere, qui obturat aures suas ne audiat sanguinem, et claudit oculos suos ne videat malum.
ዘየሐውር፡ በጽድቅ፡ ወዘይነብብ፡ ርቱዐ፣፡ ዘይጸልእ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ዓመፃ፣፡ ዘይጸልእ፡ ኃጢአተ፡ ወጽልሑተ፡ ወዘይመይጥ፡ እዴሁ፡ እምሕልያን፤ ዘይመይጥ፡ እዝኖ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይስማዕ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ነፍስ፡ ወይከድን፡ ዐይኖ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይርአይ፡ ግፍዓ።
He who walks righteously and speaks blamelessly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil—
33:16
ה֚וּא מְרוֹמִ֣ים יִשְׁכֹּ֔ן מְצָד֥וֹת סְלָעִ֖ים מִשְׂגַּבּ֑וֹ לַחְמ֣וֹ נִתָּ֔ן מֵימָ֖יו נֶאֱמָנִֽים׃
οὗτος οἰκήσει ἐν ὑψηλῷ σπηλαίῳ πέτρας ἰσχυρᾶς ἄρτος αὐτῷ δοθήσεται καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ αὐτοῦ πιστόν
Iste in excelsis habitabit ; munimenta saxorum sublimitas ejus : panis ei datus est, aquae ejus fideles sunt.
ዘከመዝኬ፡ ይነብር፡ ውስተ፡ ልዑል፡ በአተ፡ ኰኵሕ፡ ጽኑዕ፤ ወይትወሀቦ፡ እክልሂ፡ ወማይሂ፡ በጽድቅ።
he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.
33:17
מֶ֥לֶךְ בְּיׇפְי֖וֹ תֶּחֱזֶ֣ינָה עֵינֶ֑יךָ תִּרְאֶ֖ינָה אֶ֥רֶץ מַרְחַקִּֽים׃
βασιλέα μετὰ δόξης ὄψεσθε καὶ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ὑμῶν ὄψονται γῆν πόρρωθεν
Regem in decore suo videbunt oculi ejus, cernent terram de longe.
ወትሬእይዎ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ምስለ፡ ስብሐት፡ ወይሬእያ፡ አዕይንቲክሙ፡ ምድረ፡ ርኁቀ።
Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will see a distant land.
33:18
לִבְּךָ֖ יֶהְגֶּ֣ה אֵימָ֑ה אַיֵּ֤ה סֹפֵר֙ אַיֵּ֣ה שֹׁקֵ֔ל אַיֵּ֖ה סֹפֵ֥ר אֶת־הַמִּגְדָּלִֽים׃
ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμῶν μελετήσει φόβον ποῦ εἰσιν οἱ γραμματικοί ποῦ εἰσιν οἱ συμβουλεύοντες ποῦ ἐστιν ὁ ἀριθμῶν τοὺς τρεφομένους
Cor tuum meditabitur timorem : ubi est litteratus ? ubi legis verba ponderans ? ubi doctor parvulorum ?
ወትትሐዘብ፡ ነፍስክሙ፡ ፍርሃተ።
Your heart will meditate on the terror. Where is he who counted? Where is he who weighed? Where is he who counted the towers?
33:19
אֶת־עַ֥ם נוֹעָ֖ז לֹ֣א תִרְאֶ֑ה עַ֣ם עִמְקֵ֤י שָׂפָה֙ מִשְּׁמ֔וֹעַ נִלְעַ֥ג לָשׁ֖וֹן אֵ֥ין בִּינָֽה׃
μικρὸν καὶ μέγαν λαόν ᾧ οὐ συνεβουλεύσαντο οὐδὲ ᾔδει βαθύφωνον ὥστε μὴ ἀκοῦσαι λαὸς πεφαυλισμένος καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν τῷ ἀκούοντι σύνεσις
Populum impudentem non videbis, populum alti sermonis, ita ut non possis intelligere disertitudinem linguae ejus, in quo nulla est sapientia.
ንኡሱ፡ ወዓቢዩ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እለ፡ ኢመከሩ፡ ወእለ፡ ኢያእመሩ፡ ነገረ፡ ዕሙቀ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይስምዑ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ዓማፅያን፣፡ ወዘኒ፡ ይሰምዕ፡ ከመ፡ ዘአልቦ፡ ልበ።
You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand.
33:20
חֲזֵ֣ה צִיּ֔וֹן קִרְיַ֖ת מוֹעֲדֵ֑נוּ עֵינֶ֩יךָ֩ תִרְאֶ֨ינָה יְרוּשָׁלַ֜͏ִם נָוֶ֣ה שַׁאֲנָ֗ן אֹ֤הֶל בַּל־יִצְעָן֙ בַּל־יִסַּ֤ע יְתֵדֹתָיו֙ לָנֶ֔צַח וְכׇל־חֲבָלָ֖יו בַּל־יִנָּתֵֽקוּ׃
ἰδοὺ Σιων ἡ πόλις τὸ σωτήριον ἡμῶν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου ὄψονται Ιερουσαλημ πόλις πλουσία σκηναὶ αἳ οὐ μὴ σεισθῶσιν οὐδὲ μὴ κινηθῶσιν οἱ πάσσαλοι τῆς σκηνῆς αὐτῆς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα χρόνον οὐδὲ τὰ σχοινία αὐτῆς οὐ μὴ διαρραγῶσιν
Respice, Sion, civitatem solemnitatis nostrae : oculi tui videbunt Jerusalem, habitationem opulentam, tabernaculum quod nequaquam transferri poterit ; nec auferentur clavi ejus in sempiternum, et omnes funiculi ejus non rumpentur :
ናሁ፡ ጽዮን፡ ሀገረ፡ መድኃኒትነ፣፡ ወትሬእዪ፡ በአዕይንትኪ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ሀገር፡ ብዕልት፤ ወአብያቲሃኒ፡ ዘኢያንቀለቅል፡ ወዘኢይትሐወስ፡ መታክለ፡ ደብተራሃ፡ ለመዋዕለ፡ ዓለም፡ ወአሕባሊሃኒ፡ ዘኢይትበተክ።
Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.
33:21
כִּ֣י אִם־שָׁ֞ם אַדִּ֤יר יְהֹוָה֙ לָ֔נוּ מְקוֹם־נְהָרִ֥ים יְאֹרִ֖ים רַחֲבֵ֣י יָדָ֑יִם בַּל־תֵּ֤לֶךְ בּוֹ֙ אֳנִי־שַׁ֔יִט וְצִ֥י אַדִּ֖יר לֹ֥א יַעַבְרֶֽנּוּ׃
ὅτι τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου μέγα ὑμῖν τόπος ὑμῖν ἔσται ποταμοὶ καὶ διώρυγες πλατεῖς καὶ εὐρύχωροι οὐ πορεύσῃ ταύτην τὴν ὁδόν οὐδὲ πορεύσεται πλοῖον ἐλαῦνον
quia solummodo ibi magnificus est Dominus noster : locus fluviorum rivi latissimi et patentes : non transibit per eum navis remigum, neque trieris magna transgredietur eum.
እስመ፡ ስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዓቢይ፡ ለክሙ፤ ወይከውን፡ ለብሔርክሙ፡ አፍላግ፡ ወሙኃዘ፡ ማይ፡ ርሒብ፡ ወስፉሕ፡ ኢተሐውር፡ እንከ፡ ዘንተ፡ ፍኖተ፣፡ አሕማርኒ፡ ኢየሐውራ።
But there Yahweh will be with us in majesty, a place of wide rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will go, neither will any gallant ship pass by there.
33:22
כִּ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ שֹׁפְטֵ֔נוּ יְהֹוָ֖ה מְחֹקְקֵ֑נוּ יְהֹוָ֥ה מַלְכֵּ֖נוּ ה֥וּא יוֹשִׁיעֵֽנוּ׃
ὁ γὰρ θεός μου μέγας ἐστίν οὐ παρελεύσεταί με κύριος κριτὴς ἡμῶν κύριος ἄρχων ἡμῶν κύριος βασιλεὺς ἡμῶν κύριος οὗτος ἡμᾶς σώσει
Dominus enim judex noster, Dominus legifer noster, Dominus rex noster, ipse salvabit nos.
እስመ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ውእቱ፡ አምላኪየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፤ ወኢይትሄየየኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መኰንንነ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክነ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር፡ ንጉሥነ፤ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ያድኅነነ።
For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.
33:23
נִטְּשׁ֖וּ חֲבָלָ֑יִךְ בַּל־יְחַזְּק֤וּ כֵן־תׇּרְנָם֙ בַּל־פָּ֣רְשׂוּ נֵ֔ס אָ֣ז חֻלַּ֤ק עַד־שָׁלָל֙ מַרְבֶּ֔ה פִּסְחִ֖ים בָּ֥זְזוּ בַֽז׃
ἐρράγησαν τὰ σχοινία σου ὅτι οὐκ ἐνίσχυσεν ὁ ἱστός σου ἔκλινεν οὐ χαλάσει τὰ ἱστία οὐκ ἀρεῖ σημεῖον ἕως οὗ παραδοθῇ εἰς προνομήν τοίνυν πολλοὶ χωλοὶ προνομὴν ποιήσουσιν
Laxati sunt funiculi tui, et non praevalebunt ; sic erit malus tuus ut dilatare signum non queas. Tunc dividentur spolia praedarum multarum ; claudi diripient rapinam.
ተበትከ፡ አሕባልኪ፡ እስመ፡ ኢረትዐ፤ ዓምድኪ፡ ጸነት፡ ወኢበጽሐ፡ ሠርዌኪ፤ ኢያነሥእ፡ ትእምርተ፡ እስከ፡ ይእኀዝዎ፡ ወይመሀርክዎ።
Your rigging is untied. They couldn’t strengthen the foot of their mast. They couldn’t spread the sail. Then the prey of a great plunder was divided. The lame took the prey.
33:24
וּבַל־יֹאמַ֥ר שָׁכֵ֖ן חָלִ֑יתִי הָעָ֛ם הַיֹּשֵׁ֥ב בָּ֖הּ נְשֻׂ֥א עָוֺֽן׃ {ס}
καὶ οὐ μὴ εἴπῃ κοπιῶ ὁ λαὸς ὁ ἐνοικῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἀφέθη γὰρ αὐτοῖς ἡ ἁμαρτία
Nec dicet vicinus : Elangui ; populus qui habitat in ea, auferetur ab eo iniquitas.
ወኢይብል፡ ደከምኩ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ዘይነብር፡ ውስቴቶሙ፤ እስመ፡ ይትኀደግ፡ ሎሙ፡ ኃጣውኢሆሙ።
The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.
