51:1
שִׁמְע֥וּ אֵלַ֛י רֹ֥דְפֵי צֶ֖דֶק מְבַקְשֵׁ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה הַבִּ֙יטוּ֙ אֶל־צ֣וּר חֻצַּבְתֶּ֔ם וְאֶל־מַקֶּ֥בֶת בּ֖וֹר נֻקַּרְתֶּֽם׃
ἀκούσατέ μου οἱ διώκοντες τὸ δίκαιον καὶ ζητοῦντες τὸν κύριον ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὴν στερεὰν πέτραν ἣν ἐλατομήσατε καὶ εἰς τὸν βόθυνον τοῦ λάκκου ὃν ὠρύξατε
Audite me, qui sequimini quod justum est, et quaeritis Dominum ; attendite ad petram unde excisi estis, et ad cavernam laci de qua praecisi estis.
ስምዑኒ፡ ኵልክሙ፡ እለ፡ ትዴግንዎ፡ ለጽድቅ፡ ወእለ፡ ተኀሥሥዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፤ ርእይዋ፡ ለኰኵሕ፡ ጽንዕት፡ እንተ፡ ወቀርክሙ፡ ወዐዘቅተ፡ ዕምቅተ፡ እንተ፡ ከረይክሙ።
“Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh. Look to the rock you were cut from, and to the quarry you were dug from.
51:2
הַבִּ֙יטוּ֙ אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֣ם אֲבִיכֶ֔ם וְאֶל־שָׂרָ֖ה תְּחוֹלֶלְכֶ֑ם כִּֽי־אֶחָ֣ד קְרָאתִ֔יו וַאֲבָרְכֵ֖הוּ וְאַרְבֵּֽהוּ׃
ἐμβλέψατε εἰς Αβρααμ τὸν πατέρα ὑμῶν καὶ εἰς Σαρραν τὴν ὠδίνουσαν ὑμᾶς ὅτι εἷς ἦν καὶ ἐκάλεσα αὐτὸν καὶ εὐλόγησα αὐτὸν καὶ ἠγάπησα αὐτὸν καὶ ἐπλήθυνα αὐτόν
Attendite ad Abraham, patrem vestrum, et ad Saram, quae peperit vos : quia unum vocavi eum, et benedixi ei, et multiplicavi eum.
ርእይዎ፡ ለአብርሃም፡ አቡክሙ፡ ወለሳራሂ፡ እንተ፡ ሐመት፡ በእቲአክሙ፤ እስመ፡ አሐዱ፡ ውእቱ፡ ወጸዋዕክዎ፡ ወባረክዎ፡ ወአፍቀርክዎ፡ ወአብዛኅክዎ።
Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, I blessed him, and made him many.
51:3
כִּי־נִחַ֨ם יְהֹוָ֜ה צִיּ֗וֹן נִחַם֙ כׇּל־חׇרְבֹתֶ֔יהָ וַיָּ֤שֶׂם מִדְבָּרָהּ֙ כְּעֵ֔דֶן וְעַרְבָתָ֖הּ כְּגַן־יְהֹוָ֑ה שָׂשׂ֤וֹן וְשִׂמְחָה֙ יִמָּ֣צֵא בָ֔הּ תּוֹדָ֖ה וְק֥וֹל זִמְרָֽה׃ {ס}
καὶ σὲ νῦν παρακαλέσω Σιων καὶ παρεκάλεσα πάντα τὰ ἔρημα αὐτῆς καὶ θήσω τὰ ἔρημα αὐτῆς ὡς παράδεισον κυρίου εὐφροσύνην καὶ ἀγαλλίαμα εὑρήσουσιν ἐν αὐτῇ ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ φωνὴν αἰνέσεως
Consolabitur ergo Dominus Sion, et consolabitur omnes ruinas ejus : et ponet desertum ejus quasi delicias, et solitudinem ejus quasi hortum Domini. Gaudium et laetitia invenietur in ea, gratiarum actio et vox laudis.
ወይእዜኒ፡ አስተፌሥሐኪ፡ ለኪኒ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወአስተፌሥሕ፡ ኵሎ፡ አሕቃላተኪ፣፡ ወእሬስያ፡ ለበድውኪ፡ ከመ፡ ገነት፡ ወአሕቃሊሃኒ፡ ከመ፡ ገነተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፤ ወይትረከብ፡ ውስቴታ፡ ትፍሥሕት፡ ወኃሤት፣፡ አሚን፡ ወቃለ፡ ስብሐት።
For Yahweh has comforted Zion. He has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Yahweh. Joy and gladness will be found in them, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
51:4
הַקְשִׁ֤יבוּ אֵלַי֙ עַמִּ֔י וּלְאוּמִּ֖י אֵלַ֣י הַאֲזִ֑ינוּ כִּ֤י תוֹרָה֙ מֵאִתִּ֣י תֵצֵ֔א וּמִ֨שְׁפָּטִ֔י לְא֥וֹר עַמִּ֖ים אַרְגִּֽיעַ׃
ἀκούσατέ μου ἀκούσατε λαός μου καὶ οἱ βασιλεῖς πρός με ἐνωτίσασθε ὅτι νόμος παρ’ ἐμοῦ ἐξελεύσεται καὶ ἡ κρίσις μου εἰς φῶς ἐθνῶν
Attendite ad me, popule meus, et tribus mea, me audite : quia lex a me exiet, et judicium meum in lucem populorum requiescet.
ስምዑኒ፡ ስምዑኒ፡ ሕዝብየ፣፡ ወአጽምዑኒ፡ ነገሥት፡ ተግሣጽየ፡ እስመ፡ ሕግ፡ ይወፅእ፡ እምኔየ፡ ወፍትሕየኒ፡ ለብርሃነ፡ አሕዛብ።
“Listen to me, my people; and hear me, my nation, for a law will go out from me, and I will establish my justice for a light to the peoples.
51:5
קָר֤וֹב צִדְקִי֙ יָצָ֣א יִשְׁעִ֔י וּזְרֹעַ֖י עַמִּ֣ים יִשְׁפֹּ֑טוּ אֵלַי֙ אִיִּ֣ים יְקַוּ֔וּ וְאֶל־זְרֹעִ֖י יְיַחֵלֽוּן׃
ἐγγίζει ταχὺ ἡ δικαιοσύνη μου καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ὡς φῶς τὸ σωτήριόν μου καὶ εἰς τὸν βραχίονά μου ἔθνη ἐλπιοῦσιν ἐμὲ νῆσοι ὑπομενοῦσιν καὶ εἰς τὸν βραχίονά μου ἐλπιοῦσιν
Prope est justus meus, egressus est salvator meus, et brachia mea populos judicabunt ; me insulae exspectabunt, et brachium meum sustinebunt.
ትመጽእ፡ ፍጡነ፡ ጽድቅየ፡ ወትበጽሕ፡ መድኃኒትየ፡ ወይትዌከሉ፡ አሕዛብ፡ በመዝራዕትየ።
My righteousness is near. My salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples. The islands will wait for me, and they will trust my arm.
51:6
שְׂאוּ֩ לַשָּׁמַ֨יִם עֵינֵיכֶ֜ם וְֽהַבִּ֧יטוּ אֶל־הָאָ֣רֶץ מִתַּ֗חַת כִּֽי־שָׁמַ֜יִם כֶּעָשָׁ֤ן נִמְלָ֙חוּ֙ וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ כַּבֶּ֣גֶד תִּבְלֶ֔ה וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ כְּמוֹ־כֵ֣ן יְמוּת֑וּן וִישֽׁוּעָתִי֙ לְעוֹלָ֣ם תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה וְצִדְקָתִ֖י לֹ֥א תֵחָֽת׃ {פ}
ἄρατε εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὴν γῆν κάτω ὅτι ὁ οὐρανὸς ὡς καπνὸς ἐστερεώθη ἡ δὲ γῆ ὡς ἱμάτιον παλαιωθήσεται οἱ δὲ κατοικοῦντες τὴν γῆν ὥσπερ ταῦτα ἀποθανοῦνται τὸ δὲ σωτήριόν μου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἔσται ἡ δὲ δικαιοσύνη μου οὐ μὴ ἐκλίπῃ
Levate in caelum oculos vestros, et videte sub terra deorsum : quia caeli sicut fumus liquescent, et terra sicut vestimentum atteretur, et habitatores ejus sicut haec interibunt : salus autem mea in sempiternum erit, et justitia mea non deficiet.
አንሥኡ፡ አዕይንቲክሙ፡ ወነጽሩ፡ ሰማየ፡ ወምድረሂ፡ በታሕቱ።
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish away like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants will die in the same way, but my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will not be abolished.
51:7
שִׁמְע֤וּ אֵלַי֙ יֹ֣דְעֵי צֶ֔דֶק עַ֖ם תּוֹרָתִ֣י בְלִבָּ֑ם אַל־תִּֽירְאוּ֙ חֶרְפַּ֣ת אֱנ֔וֹשׁ וּמִגִּדֻּפֹתָ֖ם אַל־תֵּחָֽתּוּ׃
ἀκούσατέ μου οἱ εἰδότες κρίσιν λαός μου οὗ ὁ νόμος μου ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ ὑμῶν μὴ φοβεῖσθε ὀνειδισμὸν ἀνθρώπων καὶ τῷ φαυλισμῷ αὐτῶν μὴ ἡττᾶσθε
Audite me, qui scitis justum, populus meus, lex mea in corde eorum : nolite timere opprobrium hominum, et blasphemias eorum ne metuatis :
ስምዑኒ፡ እለ፡ ተአምሩ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ሕዝብየ፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ልብክሙ፡ ሕግየ፤ ኢትፍርሁ፡ ጽዕለተ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወኢትግርምቶሙ፡ ወኢትትመውኡ።
“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Don’t fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.
51:8
כִּ֤י כַבֶּ֙גֶד֙ יֹאכְלֵ֣ם עָ֔שׁ וְכַצֶּ֖מֶר יֹאכְלֵ֣ם סָ֑ס וְצִדְקָתִי֙ לְעוֹלָ֣ם תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה וִישׁוּעָתִ֖י לְד֥וֹר דּוֹרִֽים׃ {ס}
ὥσπερ γὰρ ἱμάτιον βρωθήσεται ὑπὸ χρόνου καὶ ὡς ἔρια βρωθήσεται ὑπὸ σητός ἡ δὲ δικαιοσύνη μου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἔσται τὸ δὲ σωτήριόν μου εἰς γενεὰς γενεῶν
sicut enim vestimentum, sic comedet eos vermis, et sicut lanam, sic devorabit eos tinea : salus autem mea in sempiternum erit, et justitia mea in generationes generationum.
እስመ፡ ከመ፡ ልብስ፡ ዘኢይጐነዲ፡ ፍጡነ፡ ይበልዩ፡ ወከመ፡ ብላዐ፡ ቍንቍኔ፡ ይከውኑ፤ ጽድቅየሰ፡ ለዓለም፡ ትቀውም፡ ወመድኃኒትየኒ፡ ለትውልደ፡ ትውልድ።
For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”
51:9
עוּרִ֨י עוּרִ֤י לִבְשִׁי־עֹז֙ זְר֣וֹעַ יְהֹוָ֔ה ע֚וּרִי כִּ֣ימֵי קֶ֔דֶם דֹּר֖וֹת עוֹלָמִ֑ים הֲל֥וֹא אַתְּ־הִ֛יא הַמַּחְצֶ֥בֶת רַ֖הַב מְחוֹלֶ֥לֶת תַּנִּֽין׃
ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔνδυσαι τὴν ἰσχὺν τοῦ βραχίονός σου ἐξεγείρου ὡς ἐν ἀρχῇ ἡμέρας ὡς γενεὰ αἰῶνος οὐ σὺ εἶ
Consurge, consurge, induere fortitudinem, brachium Domini ! consurge sicut in diebus antiquis, in generationibus saeculorum. Numquid non tu percussisti superbum, vulnerasti draconem ?
ተንሥኢ፡ ተንሥኢ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወልበሲ፡ ኃይለ፡ መዝራዕትኪ፤ ተንሥኢ፡ ከመ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ትካት፡ ዘእምፍጥረተ፡ ዓለም።
Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of Yahweh! Awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?
51:10
הֲל֤וֹא אַתְּ־הִיא֙ הַמַּחֲרֶ֣בֶת יָ֔ם מֵ֖י תְּה֣וֹם רַבָּ֑ה הַשָּׂ֙מָה֙ מַֽעֲמַקֵּי־יָ֔ם דֶּ֖רֶךְ לַעֲבֹ֥ר גְּאוּלִֽים׃
ἡ ἐρημοῦσα θάλασσαν ὕδωρ ἀβύσσου πλῆθος ἡ θεῖσα τὰ βάθη τῆς θαλάσσης ὁδὸν διαβάσεως ῥυομένοις
numquid non tu siccasti mare, aquam abyssi vehementis ; qui posuisti profundum maris viam, ut transirent liberati ?
አኮኑ፡ አንቲ፡ እንተ፡ አንፀፍኪያ፡ ለባሕር፡ ወአይበስኪ፡ ማየ፡ ቀላይ፡ ብዙኀ፤ ወረሰይኪያ፡ ለቀላየ፡ ባሕር፡ ፍኖተ፡ ወመጽያሕተ፡ ለእለ፡ ድኅኑ።
Isn’t it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?
51:11
וּפְדוּיֵ֨י יְהֹוָ֜ה יְשׁוּב֗וּן וּבָ֤אוּ צִיּוֹן֙ בְּרִנָּ֔ה וְשִׂמְחַ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם עַל־רֹאשָׁ֑ם שָׂשׂ֤וֹן וְשִׂמְחָה֙ יַשִּׂיג֔וּן נָ֖סוּ יָג֥וֹן וַאֲנָחָֽה׃ {ס}
καὶ λελυτρωμένοις ὑπὸ γὰρ κυρίου ἀποστραφήσονται καὶ ἥξουσιν εἰς Σιων μετ’ εὐφροσύνης καὶ ἀγαλλιάματος αἰωνίου ἐπὶ γὰρ τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτῶν ἀγαλλίασις καὶ αἴνεσις καὶ εὐφροσύνη καταλήμψεται αὐτούς ἀπέδρα ὀδύνη καὶ λύπη καὶ στεναγμός
Et nunc qui redempti sunt a Domino, revertentur, et venient in Sion laudantes, et laetitia sempiterna super capita eorum : gaudium et laetitiam tenebunt ; fugiet dolor et gemitus.
ወተባልሑ፤ ወሜጦሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአተዉ፡ ጽዮንሃ፡ በትፍሥሕት፡ ወበኃሤት፡ ዘለዓለም።
Those ransomed by Yahweh will return, and come with singing to Zion. Everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
51:12
אָנֹכִ֧י אָנֹכִ֛י ה֖וּא מְנַחֶמְכֶ֑ם מִי־אַ֤תְּ וַתִּֽירְאִי֙ מֵאֱנ֣וֹשׁ יָמ֔וּת וּמִבֶּן־אָדָ֖ם חָצִ֥יר יִנָּתֵֽן׃
ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ παρακαλῶν σε γνῶθι τίνα εὐλαβηθεῖσα ἐφοβήθης ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου θνητοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ υἱοῦ ἀνθρώπου οἳ ὡσεὶ χόρτος ἐξηράνθησαν
Ego, ego ipse consolabor vos. Quis tu, ut timeres ab homine mortali, et a filio hominis qui quasi foenum ita arescet ?
አነ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘአስተፌሥሐኪ፤ አእምሪ፡ እንከ፡ አንቲሂ፡ መነሃ፡ ፈራህኪ፡ ሰብአ፡ መዋቴ፡ ወእጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ዘይየብስ፡ ከመ፡ ሣዕር።
“I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?
51:13
וַתִּשְׁכַּ֞ח יְהֹוָ֣ה עֹשֶׂ֗ךָ נוֹטֶ֣ה שָׁמַ֘יִם֮ וְיֹסֵ֣ד אָ֒רֶץ֒ וַתְּפַחֵ֨ד תָּמִ֜יד כׇּל־הַיּ֗וֹם מִפְּנֵי֙ חֲמַ֣ת הַמֵּצִ֔יק כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר כּוֹנֵ֖ן לְהַשְׁחִ֑ית וְאַיֵּ֖ה חֲמַ֥ת הַמֵּצִֽיק׃
καὶ ἐπελάθου θεὸν τὸν ποιήσαντά σε τὸν ποιήσαντα τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ θεμελιώσαντα τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐφόβου ἀεὶ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ θυμοῦ τοῦ θλίβοντός σε ὃν τρόπον γὰρ ἐβουλεύσατο τοῦ ἆραί σε καὶ νῦν ποῦ ὁ θυμὸς τοῦ θλίβοντός σε
Et oblitus es Domini, factoris tui, qui tetendit caelos et fundavit terram ; et formidasti jugiter tota die a facie furoris ejus qui te tribulabat, et paraverat ad perdendum. Ubi nunc est furor tribulantis ?
ወአንቲሰ፡ ረሳዕኪዮ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘፈጠረኪ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ሰማየ፡ ወሣረረ፡ ምድረ፤ ወፈራህኪ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕልኪ፡ እምገጸ፡ መዐቱ፡ ለዘሣቀየኪ።
Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?
51:14
מִהַ֥ר צֹעֶ֖ה לְהִפָּתֵ֑חַ וְלֹא־יָמ֣וּת לַשַּׁ֔חַת וְלֹ֥א יֶחְסַ֖ר לַחְמֽוֹ׃
ἐν γὰρ τῷ σῴζεσθαί σε οὐ στήσεται οὐδὲ χρονιεῖ
Cito veniet gradiens ad aperiendum ; et non interficiet usque ad internecionem, nec deficiet panis ejus.
እስመ፡ እምከመ፡ ድኅንኪ፡ ኢይሄሉ፡ እንከ፡ ወኢይጐነዲ።
The captive exile will speedily be freed. He will not die and go down into the pit. His bread won’t fail.
51:15
וְאָֽנֹכִי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ רֹגַ֣ע הַיָּ֔ם וַיֶּהֱמ֖וּ גַּלָּ֑יו יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁמֽוֹ׃
ὅτι ἐγὼ ὁ θεός σου ὁ ταράσσων τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ ἠχῶν τὰ κύματα αὐτῆς κύριος σαβαωθ ὄνομά μοι
Ego autem sum Dominus Deus tuus, qui conturbo mare, et intumescunt fluctus ejus : Dominus exercituum nomen meum.
እስመ፡ አነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክኪ፡ ዘአከውሳ፡ ለባሕር፡ ወአደምፃ፡ ለማዕበላ፤ ወስምየኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ጸባኦት።
For I am Yahweh your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar. Yahweh of Armies is his name.
51:16
וָאָשִׂ֤ם דְּבָרַי֙ בְּפִ֔יךָ וּבְצֵ֥ל יָדִ֖י כִּסִּיתִ֑יךָ לִנְטֹ֤עַ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְלִיסֹ֣ד אָ֔רֶץ וְלֵאמֹ֥ר לְצִיּ֖וֹן עַמִּי־אָֽתָּה׃ {ס}
θήσω τοὺς λόγους μου εἰς τὸ στόμα σου καὶ ὑπὸ τὴν σκιὰν τῆς χειρός μου σκεπάσω σε ἐν ᾗ ἔστησα τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐθεμελίωσα τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐρεῖ Σιων λαός μου εἶ σύ
Posui verba mea in ore tuo, et in umbra manus meae protexi te, ut plantes caelos, et fundes terram, et dicas ad Sion : Populus meus es tu.
እወዲ፡ ቃልየ፡ ውስተ፡ አፉኪ፡ ወእከድነኪ፡ ታሕተ፡ ጽላሎተ፡ እዴየ፡ እንተ፡ ባቲ፡ ሰፋሕክዋ፡ ለሰማየ፡ ወሣረርክዋ፡ ለምድር፤ ወእብላ፡ ለጽዮን፤ ሕዝብየ፡ አንቲ።
I have put my words in your mouth and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and tell Zion, ‘You are my people.’”
51:17
הִתְעוֹרְרִ֣י הִֽתְעוֹרְרִ֗י ק֚וּמִי יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁתִ֛ית מִיַּ֥ד יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־כּ֣וֹס חֲמָת֑וֹ אֶת־קֻבַּ֜עַת כּ֧וֹס הַתַּרְעֵלָ֛ה שָׁתִ֖ית מָצִֽית׃
ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου ἀνάστηθι Ιερουσαλημ ἡ πιοῦσα τὸ ποτήριον τοῦ θυμοῦ ἐκ χειρὸς κυρίου τὸ ποτήριον γὰρ τῆς πτώσεως τὸ κόνδυ τοῦ θυμοῦ ἐξέπιες καὶ ἐξεκένωσας
Elevare, elevare, consurge, Jerusalem, quae bibisti de manu Domini calicem irae ejus ; usque ad fundum calicis soporis bibisti, et potasti usque ad faeces.
ተንሥኢ፡ ተንሥኢ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወቁሚ፡ እንተ፡ ሰተይኪ፡ እምእደ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ጽዋዐ፡ መዐቱ፡ እስመ፡ ሰተይኪ፡ ጽዋዐ፡ መዐተ፡ ዘያወድቀኪ፡ ወሦጥኪዮ።
Awake, awake! Stand up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk from Yahweh’s hand the cup of his wrath. You have drunken the bowl of the cup of staggering, and drained it.
51:18
אֵין־מְנַהֵ֣ל לָ֔הּ מִכׇּל־בָּנִ֖ים יָלָ֑דָה וְאֵ֤ין מַחֲזִיק֙ בְּיָדָ֔הּ מִכׇּל־בָּנִ֖ים גִּדֵּֽלָה׃
καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ παρακαλῶν σε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν τέκνων σου ὧν ἔτεκες καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἀντιλαμβανόμενος τῆς χειρός σου οὐδὲ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν σου ὧν ὕψωσας
Non est qui sustentet eam, ex omnibus filiis quos genuit ; et non est qui apprehendat manum ejus, ex omnibus filiis quos enutrivit.
ወኀጣእኪ፡ ዘይናዝዘኪ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ደቂቅኪ፡ ዘወለድኪ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይሜጥወኪ፡ እዴሁ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ደቂቅኪ፡ ዘአልሀቂ።
There is no one to guide her among all the sons to whom she has given birth; and there is no one who takes her by the hand among all the sons whom she has brought up.
51:19
שְׁתַּ֤יִם הֵ֙נָּה֙ קֹרְאֹתַ֔יִךְ מִ֖י יָנ֣וּד לָ֑ךְ הַשֹּׁ֧ד וְהַשֶּׁ֛בֶר וְהָרָעָ֥ב וְהַחֶ֖רֶב מִ֥י אֲנַחֲמֵֽךְ׃
δύο ταῦτα ἀντικείμενά σοι τίς σοι συλλυπηθήσεται πτῶμα καὶ σύντριμμα λιμὸς καὶ μάχαιρα τίς σε παρακαλέσει
Duo sunt quae occurrerunt tibi ; quis contristabitur super te ? Vastitas, et contritio, et fames, et gladius ; quis consolabitur te ?
ወይእዜኒ፡ እሉ፡ ክልኤቱ፡ ይጸንሑኪ፤ መኑ፡ ይናዝዘኪ፤ ኃሣር፡ ወድቀት፣፡ ረኃብ፡ ወመጥባሕት፤ መኑ፡ እንከ፡ ዘይናዝዘኪ።
These two things have happened to you— who will grieve with you?— desolation and destruction, and famine and the sword. How can I comfort you?
51:20
בָּנַ֜יִךְ עֻלְּפ֥וּ שָׁכְב֛וּ בְּרֹ֥אשׁ כׇּל־חוּצ֖וֹת כְּת֣וֹא מִכְמָ֑ר הַֽמְלֵאִ֥ים חֲמַת־יְהֹוָ֖ה גַּעֲרַ֥ת אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃
οἱ υἱοί σου οἱ ἀπορούμενοι οἱ καθεύδοντες ἐπ’ ἄκρου πάσης ἐξόδου ὡς σευτλίον ἡμίεφθον οἱ πλήρεις θυμοῦ κυρίου ἐκλελυμένοι διὰ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ
Filii tui projecti sunt, dormierunt in capite omnium viarum sicut oryx illaqueatus, pleni indignatione Domini, increpatione Dei tui.
ደቂቅኪኑ፡ እለ፡ ጸማህየዩ፡ ወተነፅኁ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ፍናዋት፡ ከመ፡ ሐምለ፡ ቅብእ፡ ዕቡር፡ ዘምሉእ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ መዐተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወድኩማን፡ እምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እግዚእ።
Your sons have fainted. They lie at the head of all the streets, like an antelope in a net. They are full of Yahweh’s wrath, the rebuke of your God.
51:21
לָכֵ֛ן שִׁמְעִי־נָ֥א זֹ֖את עֲנִיָּ֑ה וּשְׁכֻרַ֖ת וְלֹ֥א מִיָּֽיִן׃ {פ}
διὰ τοῦτο ἄκουε τεταπεινωμένη καὶ μεθύουσα οὐκ ἀπὸ οἴνου
Idcirco audi hoc, paupercula, et ebria non a vino.
በበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ስምዒ፡ ኅሥርት፡ ወስክርት፡ አኮ፡ እምወይን።
Therefore now hear this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
51:22
כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנַ֣יִךְ יְהֹוָ֗ה וֵאלֹהַ֙יִךְ֙ יָרִ֣יב עַמּ֔וֹ הִנֵּ֥ה לָקַ֛חְתִּי מִיָּדֵ֖ךְ אֶת־כּ֣וֹס הַתַּרְעֵלָ֑ה אֶת־קֻבַּ֙עַת֙ כּ֣וֹס חֲמָתִ֔י לֹא־תוֹסִ֥יפִי לִשְׁתּוֹתָ֖הּ עֽוֹד׃
οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ κρίνων τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ ἰδοὺ εἴληφα ἐκ τῆς χειρός σου τὸ ποτήριον τῆς πτώσεως τὸ κόνδυ τοῦ θυμοῦ καὶ οὐ προσθήσῃ ἔτι πιεῖν αὐτό
Haec dicit dominator tuus Dominus, et Deus tuus, qui pugnabit pro populo suo : Ecce tuli de manu tua calicem soporis, fundum calicis indignationis meae : non adjicies ut bibas illum ultra.
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክ፡ ዘፈትሐ፡ ለሕዝቡ፤ ናሁ፡ ነሣእኩ፡ እምእዴኪ፡ ጽዋዐ፡ ድቀትኪ፡ ወጽዋዐ፡ መዐትየ፡ ወኢትድግሚ፡ እንከ፡ ሰትዮቶ።
Your Lord Yahweh, your God who pleads the cause of his people, says, “Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath. You will not drink it any more.
51:23
וְשַׂמְתִּ֙יהָ֙ בְּיַד־מוֹגַ֔יִךְ אֲשֶׁר־אָמְר֥וּ לְנַפְשֵׁ֖ךְ שְׁחִ֣י וְנַעֲבֹ֑רָה וַתָּשִׂ֤ימִי כָאָ֙רֶץ֙ גֵּוֵ֔ךְ וְכַח֖וּץ לַעֹבְרִֽים׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐμβαλῶ αὐτὸ εἰς τὰς χεῖρας τῶν ἀδικησάντων σε καὶ τῶν ταπεινωσάντων σε οἳ εἶπαν τῇ ψυχῇ σου κύψον ἵνα παρέλθωμεν καὶ ἔθηκας ἴσα τῇ γῇ τὰ μετάφρενά σου ἔξω τοῖς παραπορευομένοις
Et ponam illum in manu eorum qui te humiliaverunt, et dixerunt animae tuae : Incurvare, ut transeamus ; et posuisti ut terram corpus tuum, et quasi viam transeuntibus.
ወአገብኦ፡ ውስተ፡ እደ፡ እለ፡ ገፍዑኪ፡ ወእለ፡ አኅሠሩኪ፡ ወእለ፡ ይብልዋ፡ ለነፍስኪ፤ ድንኒ፡ ወንትዐደውኪ፤ ወአስከቡኪ፡ ውስተ፡ መሬት፡ በከብድኪ፡ ወኬዱኪ፡ ኵሉ፡ ኃላፌ፡ ፍኖት።
I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, ‘Bow down, that we may walk over you;’ and you have laid your back as the ground, like a street to those who walk over.”
