30:1
הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ מֵאֵ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃
τῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι σοφία ἐν Θαιμαν ἀπώλετο βουλὴ ἐκ συνετῶν ὤχετο σοφία αὐτῶν
Hoc verbum quod factum est ad Jeremiam a Domino, dicens :
ነገር፡ ዘነገሮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኤርምያስ፡ ወይቤሎ።
The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
30:2
כֹּֽה־אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר כְּתׇב־לְךָ֗ אֵ֧ת כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִ֛ים אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי אֵלֶ֖יךָ אֶל־סֵֽפֶר׃
ἠπατήθη ὁ τόπος αὐτῶν βαθύνατε εἰς κάθισιν οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Δαιδαν ὅτι δύσκολα ἐποίησεν ἤγαγον ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἐν χρόνῳ ᾧ ἐπεσκεψάμην ἐπ’ αὐτόν
Haec dicit Dominus Deus Israël, dicens : Scribe tibi omnia verba quae locutus sum ad te, in libro.
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ጸሐፍ፡ ኵሎ፡ ነገረ፡ ዘነገርኩከ፡ ውስተ፡ መጽሐፍ።
“Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.
30:3
כִּ֠י הִנֵּ֨ה יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְ֠שַׁבְתִּ֠י אֶת־שְׁב֨וּת עַמִּ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל וִֽיהוּדָ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֗ים אֶל־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תִּי לַאֲבוֹתָ֖ם וִֽירֵשֽׁוּהָ׃ {פ}
ὅτι τρυγηταὶ ἦλθόν σοι οὐ καταλείψουσίν σοι καταλείμματα ὡς κλέπται ἐν νυκτὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν χεῖρα αὐτῶν
Ecce enim dies veniunt, dicit Dominus, et convertam conversionem populi mei Israël et Juda, ait Dominus : et convertam eos ad terram quam dedi patribus eorum, et possidebunt eam.
እስመ፡ ናሁ፡ መዋዕል፡ ይመጽእ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእመይጥ፡ ፄዋ፡ ሕዝብየ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይሁዳ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ወአገብኦሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድሮሙ፡ ዘወሀብክዎሙ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ፡ ወይኴንንዋ።
For, behold, the days come,’ says Yahweh, ‘that I will reverse the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’”
30:4
וְאֵ֣לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְאֶל־יְהוּדָֽה׃
ὅτι ἐγὼ κατέσυρα τὸν Ησαυ ἀνεκάλυψα τὰ κρυπτὰ αὐτῶν κρυβῆναι οὐ μὴ δύνωνται ὤλοντο διὰ χεῖρα ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ γείτονος αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν
Et haec verba quae locutus est Dominus ad Israël et ad Judam :
ወዝንቱ፡ ውእቱ፡ ነገር፡ ዘነበበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ።
These are the words that Yahweh spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
30:5
כִּי־כֹה֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה ק֥וֹל חֲרָדָ֖ה שָׁמָ֑עְנוּ פַּ֖חַד וְאֵ֥ין שָׁלֽוֹם׃
ὑπολείπεσθαι ὀρφανόν σου ἵνα ζήσηται καὶ ἐγὼ ζήσομαι καὶ χῆραι ἐπ’ ἐμὲ πεποίθασιν
Quoniam haec dicit Dominus : Vocem terroris audivimus : formido, et non est pax.
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ድምፀ፡ ግርማሁ፡ ትሰምዑ፡ ግሩመ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ሰላም።
For Yahweh says: “We have heard a voice of trembling; a voice of fear, and not of peace.
30:6
שַׁאֲלוּ־נָ֣א וּרְא֔וּ אִם־יֹלֵ֖ד זָכָ֑ר מַדּ֩וּעַ֩ רָאִ֨יתִי כׇל־גֶּ֜בֶר יָדָ֤יו עַל־חֲלָצָיו֙ כַּיּ֣וֹלֵדָ֔ה וְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּ כׇל־פָּנִ֖ים לְיֵרָקֽוֹן׃
ὅτι τάδε εἶπεν κύριος οἷς οὐκ ἦν νόμος πιεῖν τὸ ποτήριον ἔπιον καὶ σὺ ἀθῳωμένη οὐ μὴ ἀθῳωθῇς ὅτι πίνων πίεσαι
Interrogate, et videte si generat masculus : quare ergo vidi omnis viri manum super lumbum suum, quasi parturientis, et conversae sunt universae facies in auruginem ?
ተሰአሉ፡ እስኩ፡ ወአእምሩ፡ እመ፡ ወለደ፡ ተባዕት።
Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?
30:7
ה֗וֹי כִּ֥י גָד֛וֹל הַיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא מֵאַ֣יִן כָּמֹ֑הוּ וְעֵֽת־צָרָ֥ה הִיא֙ לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב וּמִמֶּ֖נָּה יִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃
ὅτι κατ’ ἐμαυτοῦ ὤμοσα λέγει κύριος ὅτι εἰς ἄβατον καὶ εἰς ὀνειδισμὸν καὶ εἰς κατάρασιν ἔσῃ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις αὐτῆς ἔσονται ἔρημοι εἰς αἰῶνα
Vae ! quia magna dies illa, nec est similis ejus : tempusque tribulationis est Jacob, et ex ipso salvabitur.
አሌ፡ ሊተ፡ እስመ፡ ዓባይ፡ ይእቲ፡ ዕለት፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘከማሃ፡ ወመዋዕለ፡ ምንዳቤ፡ ይእቲ፡ ለያዕቆብ፡ ወእምኔሁ፡ ይድኅን።
Alas, for that day is great, so that none is like it! It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he will be saved out of it.
30:8
וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻ֣ם׀ יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אֶשְׁבֹּ֤ר עֻלּוֹ֙ מֵעַ֣ל צַוָּארֶ֔ךָ וּמוֹסְרוֹתֶ֖יךָ אֲנַתֵּ֑ק וְלֹא־יַעַבְדוּ־ב֥וֹ ע֖וֹד זָרִֽים׃
ἀκοὴν ἤκουσα παρὰ κυρίου καὶ ἀγγέλους εἰς ἔθνη ἀπέστειλεν συνάχθητε καὶ παραγένεσθε εἰς αὐτήν ἀνάστητε εἰς πόλεμον
Et erit in die illa, ait Dominus exercituum : conteram jugum ejus de collo tuo, et vincula ejus dirumpam, et non dominabuntur ei amplius alieni :
ይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ጸባኦት፡ አርዑተ፡ እሥዕር፡ እምክሳድከ፡ ወእሰብር፡ መዋቅሕቲከ፡ ወኢትትቀነይ፡ እንከ፡ ለነኪር።
It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds. Strangers will no more make them their bondservants;
30:9
וְעָ֣בְד֔וּ אֵ֖ת יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם וְאֵת֙ דָּוִ֣ד מַלְכָּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָקִ֖ים לָהֶֽם׃ {ס}
μικρὸν ἔδωκά σε ἐν ἔθνεσιν εὐκαταφρόνητον ἐν ἀνθρώποις
sed servient Domino Deo suo, et David regi suo, quem suscitabo eis.
ወይትቀነዩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ለአምላኮሙ፡ ወለዳዊት፡ ንጉሦሙ፡ ዘአነሥእ፡ ሎሙ።
but they will serve Yahweh their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.
30:10
וְאַתָּ֡ה אַל־תִּירָא֩ עַבְדִּ֨י יַעֲקֹ֤ב נְאֻם־יְהֹוָה֙ וְאַל־תֵּחַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כִּ֠י הִנְנִ֤י מוֹשִֽׁיעֲךָ֙ מֵֽרָח֔וֹק וְאֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ֖ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ שִׁבְיָ֑ם וְשָׁ֧ב יַעֲקֹ֛ב וְשָׁקַ֥ט וְשַׁאֲנַ֖ן וְאֵ֥ין מַחֲרִֽיד׃
ἡ παιγνία σου ἐνεχείρησέν σοι ἰταμία καρδίας σου κατέλυσεν τρυμαλιὰς πετρῶν συνέλαβεν ἰσχὺν βουνοῦ ὑψηλοῦ ὅτι ὕψωσεν ὥσπερ ἀετὸς νοσσιὰν αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖθεν καθελῶ σε
Tu ergo ne timeas, serve meus Jacob, ait Dominus, neque paveas, Israël : quia ecce ego salvabo te de terra longinqua, et semen tuum de terra captivitatis eorum : et revertetur Jacob, et quiescet, et cunctis affluet bonis, et non erit quem formidet :
ወኢትፍራህ፡ አንተ፡ ገብርየ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢደንግፅ፡ እስራኤል፡ እስመ፡ ናሁ፡ አድኅነከ፡ እምርኁቅ፡ ወለዘርእከ፡ እምድረ፡ ፍልሰቶሙ፡ ወይትመየጥ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ወየዐርፍ፡ ወይትአመን፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘያደነግፆ።
Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.
30:11
כִּֽי־אִתְּךָ֥ אֲנִ֛י נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֖ה לְהֽוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָ כִּי֩ אֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה כָלָ֜ה בְּכׇֽל־הַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֲפִצוֹתִ֣יךָ שָּׁ֗ם אַ֤ךְ אֹֽתְךָ֙ לֹֽא־אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה כָלָ֔ה וְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ לַמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט וְנַקֵּ֖ה לֹ֥א אֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἔσται ἡ Ιδουμαία εἰς ἄβατον πᾶς ὁ παραπορευόμενος ἐπ’ αὐτὴν συριεῖ
quoniam tecum ego sum, ait Dominus, ut salvem te. Faciam enim consummationem in cunctis gentibus in quibus dispersi te : te autem non faciam in consummationem : sed castigabo te in judicio, ut non videaris tibi innoxius.
እስመ፡ ምስሌከ፡ አነ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ አድኅንከ፡ እስመ፡ እገብር፡ ማኅለቅተ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ኀበ፡ ዘረውኩከ፡ ወኪያከሰ፡ ኢይሬስየከ፡ ትኅልቅ፡ ወገሠጽኩከ፡ ለኵነኔ፡ ወአንጽሖ፡ ኢያነጽሐከ።
For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”
30:12
כִּ֣י כֹ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אָנ֣וּשׁ לְשִׁבְרֵ֑ךְ נַחְלָ֖ה מַכָּתֵֽךְ׃
ὥσπερ κατεστράφη Σοδομα καὶ Γομορρα καὶ αἱ πάροικοι αὐτῆς εἶπεν κύριος παντοκράτωρ οὐ μὴ καθίσῃ ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐνοικήσῃ ἐκεῖ υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου
Quia haec dicit Dominus : Insanabilis fractura tua ; pessima plaga tua :
እስመ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ተንሥአ፡ ጸልዐ፡ ቊስለ፡ መቅሠፍትከ።
For Yahweh says, “Your hurt is incurable. Your wound is grievous.
30:13
אֵֽין־דָּ֥ן דִּינֵ֖ךְ לְמָז֑וֹר רְפֻא֥וֹת תְּעָלָ֖ה אֵ֥ין לָֽךְ׃
ἰδοὺ ὥσπερ λέων ἀναβήσεται ἐκ μέσου τοῦ Ιορδάνου εἰς τόπον Αιθαμ ὅτι ταχὺ ἐκδιώξω αὐτοὺς ἀπ’ αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς νεανίσκους ἐπ’ αὐτὴν ἐπιστήσατε ὅτι τίς ὥσπερ ἐγώ καὶ τίς ἀντιστήσεταί μοι καὶ τίς οὗτος ποιμήν ὃς στήσεται κατὰ πρόσωπόν μου
non est qui judicet judicium tuum ad alligandum : curationum utilitas non est tibi.
ወአልቦ፡ ዘይፈትሕ፡ ፍትሐከ፡ ወኢይበቊዐከ፡ ዘተፈወስከ፡ ቊስለከ።
There is no one to plead your cause, that you may be bound up. You have no healing medicines.
30:14
כׇּל־מְאַהֲבַ֣יִךְ שְׁכֵח֔וּךְ אוֹתָ֖ךְ לֹ֣א יִדְרֹ֑שׁוּ כִּי֩ מַכַּ֨ת אוֹיֵ֤ב הִכִּיתִיךְ֙ מוּסַ֣ר אַכְזָרִ֔י עַ֚ל רֹ֣ב עֲוֺנֵ֔ךְ עָצְמ֖וּ חַטֹּאתָֽיִךְ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἀκούσατε βουλὴν κυρίου ἣν ἐβουλεύσατο ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν καὶ λογισμὸν αὐτοῦ ὃν ἐλογίσατο ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Θαιμαν ἐὰν μὴ συμψησθῶσιν τὰ ἐλάχιστα τῶν προβάτων ἐὰν μὴ ἀβατωθῇ ἐπ’ αὐτὴν κατάλυσις αὐτῶν
Omnes amatores tui obliti sunt tui, teque non quaerent : plaga enim inimici percussi te castigatione crudeli : propter multitudinem iniquitatis tuae dura facta sunt peccata tua.
ኵሎሙ፡ አዕርክቲከ፡ ረስዑከ፡ ወኢኀሠሡከ፡ እስመ፡ አቊሰሉከ፡ ፀርከ፡ በመቅሠፍት፡ ጽኑዕ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኵሉ፡ ጌጋይከ፡ እስመ፡ ብዙኅ፡ ኃጣውኢከ።
All your lovers have forgotten you. They don’t seek you. For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased.
30:15
מַה־תִּזְעַק֙ עַל־שִׁבְרֵ֔ךְ אָנ֖וּשׁ מַכְאֹבֵ֑ךְ עַ֣ל׀ רֹ֣ב עֲוֺנֵ֗ךְ עָֽצְמוּ֙ חַטֹּאתַ֔יִךְ עָשִׂ֥יתִי אֵ֖לֶּה לָֽךְ׃
ὅτι ἀπὸ φωνῆς πτώσεως αὐτῶν ἐσείσθη ἡ γῆ καὶ κραυγή σου ἐν θαλάσσῃ ἠκούσθη
Quid clamas super contritione tua ? insanabilis est dolor tuus : propter multitudinem iniquitatis tuae, et propter dura peccata tua, feci haec tibi.
ምንተ፡ ተአወዩ፡ በእንተ፡ ቊስልከ፡ ተንሥአ፡ ቊስልከ፡ በእንተ፡ ብዝኀ፡ ጌጋይከ፡ ጸንዑ፡ ኃጣውኢከ፡ ዘንተ፡ ገበርኩ፡ ለከ።
Why do you cry over your injury? Your pain is incurable. For the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.
30:16
לָכֵ֞ן כׇּל־אֹכְלַ֙יִךְ֙ יֵאָכֵ֔לוּ וְכׇל־צָרַ֥יִךְ כֻּלָּ֖ם בַּשְּׁבִ֣י יֵלֵ֑כוּ וְהָי֤וּ שֹׁאסַ֙יִךְ֙ לִמְשִׁסָּ֔ה וְכׇל־בֹּזְזַ֖יִךְ אֶתֵּ֥ן לָבַֽז׃
ἰδοὺ ὥσπερ ἀετὸς ὄψεται καὶ ἐκτενεῖ τὰς πτέρυγας ἐπ’ ὀχυρώματα αὐτῆς καὶ ἔσται ἡ καρδία τῶν ἰσχυρῶν τῆς Ιδουμαίας ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὡς καρδία γυναικὸς ὠδινούσης
Propterea omnes qui comedunt te devorabuntur, et universi hostes tui in captivitatem ducentur : et qui te vastant vastabuntur, cunctosque praedatores tuos dabo in praedam.
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ይበልዑከ፡ ይትበልዑ፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ይፄውዉከ፡ ውስተ፡ ፄዋ፡ የሐውሩ፡ ወእለሂ፡ በርበሩከ፡ ይትበረበሩ፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ እለ፡ ማህረኩከ፡ እሁቦሙ፡ ለተማህርኮ።
Therefore all those who devour you will be devoured. All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity. Those who plunder you will be plunder. I will make all who prey on you become prey.
30:17
כִּי֩ אַעֲלֶ֨ה אֲרֻכָ֥ה לָ֛ךְ וּמִמַּכּוֹתַ֥יִךְ אֶרְפָּאֵ֖ךְ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּ֤י נִדָּחָה֙ קָ֣רְאוּ לָ֔ךְ צִיּ֣וֹן הִ֔יא דֹּרֵ֖שׁ אֵ֥ין לָֽהּ׃ {ס}
τοῖς υἱοῖς Αμμων οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος μὴ υἱοὶ οὔκ εἰσιν ἐν Ισραηλ ἢ παραλημψόμενος οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοῖς διὰ τί παρέλαβεν Μελχομ τὸν Γαδ καὶ ὁ λαὸς αὐτῶν ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν ἐνοικήσει
Obducam enim cicatricem tibi, et a vulneribus tuis sanabo te, dicit Dominus. Quia ejectam vocaverunt te, Sion : haec est, quae non habebat requirentem.
እስመ፡ እፌውሰከ፡ እምቊስልከ፡ እኩይ፡ እስመ፡ አዐርግ፡ ለከ፡ ፈውሰ፡ ወእምቊስልከ፡ አሐይወከ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እስመ፡ ተሰመይኪ፡ ዝሩተ፡ አንቲ፡ ጽዮን፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይትኀሠሥ፡ ለኪ።
For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,” says Yahweh, “because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’”
30:18
כֹּ֣ה׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה הִנְנִי־שָׁב֙ שְׁבוּת֙ אׇהֳלֵ֣י יַֽעֲק֔וֹב וּמִשְׁכְּנֹתָ֖יו אֲרַחֵ֑ם וְנִבְנְתָ֥ה עִיר֙ עַל־תִּלָּ֔הּ וְאַרְמ֖וֹן עַל־מִשְׁפָּט֥וֹ יֵשֵֽׁב׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται φησὶν κύριος καὶ ἀκουτιῶ ἐπὶ Ραββαθ θόρυβον πολέμων καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ἄβατον καὶ εἰς ἀπώλειαν καὶ βωμοὶ αὐτῆς ἐν πυρὶ κατακαυθήσονται καὶ παραλήμψεται Ισραηλ τὴν ἀρχὴν αὐτοῦ
Haec dicit Dominus : Ecce ego convertam conversionem tabernaculorum Jacob, et tectis ejus miserebor : et aedificabitur civitas in excelso suo, et templum juxta ordinem suum fundabitur :
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ናሁ፡ አነ፡ እመይጥ፡ ፈላስያነ፡ ቤተ፡ ያዕቆብ፡ ወማኅደሪሁኒ፡ እሠሀል፡ ወትትሐነጽ፡ ሀገር፡ በኑኃ፡ ወኤሬሞን፡ በከመ፡ ሕጉ፡ ይገብእ።
Yahweh says: “Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.
30:19
וְיָצָ֥א מֵהֶ֛ם תּוֹדָ֖ה וְק֣וֹל מְשַׂחֲקִ֑ים וְהִרְבִּתִים֙ וְלֹ֣א יִמְעָ֔טוּ וְהִכְבַּדְתִּ֖ים וְלֹ֥א יִצְעָֽרוּ׃
ἀλάλαξον Εσεβων ὅτι ὤλετο Γαι κεκράξατε θυγατέρες Ραββαθ περιζώσασθε σάκκους καὶ ἐπιλημπτεύσασθε καὶ κόψασθε ἐπὶ Μελχομ ὅτι ἐν ἀποικίᾳ βαδιεῖται οἱ ἱερεῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτοῦ ἅμα
et egredietur de eis laus, voxque ludentium. Et multiplicabo eos, et non minuentur : et glorificabo eos, et non attenuabuntur.
ወይወፅእ፡ እምህየ፡ አኰቴት፡ ወቃለ፡ ተውኔት፡ ወአበዝኆሙ፡ ወኢይውሕዱ፡ እንከ።
Thanksgiving will proceed out of them with the voice of those who make merry. I will multiply them, and they will not be few; I will also glorify them, and they will not be small.
30:20
וְהָי֤וּ בָנָיו֙ כְּקֶ֔דֶם וַעֲדָת֖וֹ לְפָנַ֣י תִּכּ֑וֹן וּפָ֣קַדְתִּ֔י עַ֖ל כׇּל־לֹחֲצָֽיו׃
τί ἀγαλλιάσῃ ἐν τοῖς πεδίοις Ενακιμ θύγατερ ἰταμίας ἡ πεποιθυῖα ἐπὶ θησαυροῖς αὐτῆς ἡ λέγουσα τίς εἰσελεύσεται ἐπ’ ἐμέ
Et erunt filii ejus sicut a principio, et coetus ejus coram me permanebit, et visitabo adversum omnes qui tribulant eum.
ወይከውኑ፡ ደቂቁ፡ ከመ፡ ትካት፡ ወይረትዕ፡ ስምዖሙ፡ በቅድመ፡ ገጽየ፡ ወእዋህዮሙ፡ ለእለ፡ አስርሕዎሙ፡ ወይመውኡ።
Their children also will be as before, and their congregation will be established before me. I will punish all who oppress them.
30:21
וְהָיָ֨ה אַדִּיר֜וֹ מִמֶּ֗נּוּ וּמֹֽשְׁלוֹ֙ מִקִּרְבּ֣וֹ יֵצֵ֔א וְהִקְרַבְתִּ֖יו וְנִגַּ֣שׁ אֵלָ֑י כִּי֩ מִ֨י הוּא־זֶ֜ה עָרַ֧ב אֶת־לִבּ֛וֹ לָגֶ֥שֶׁת אֵלַ֖י נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃
ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ φέρω φόβον ἐπὶ σέ εἶπεν κύριος ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς περιοίκου σου καὶ διασπαρήσεσθε ἕκαστος εἰς πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ συνάγων
Et erit dux ejus ex eo, et princeps de medio ejus producetur : et applicabo eum, et accedet ad me. Quis enim iste est qui applicet cor suum ut appropinquet mihi ? ait Dominus :
ወመልአክሂ፡ ይሠየም፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ወአስተጋብኦሙ፡ ወእመይጦሙ፡ መንገሌየ።
Their prince will be one of them, and their ruler will proceed from among them. I will cause him to draw near, and he will approach me; for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?” says Yahweh.
30:22
וִהְיִ֥יתֶם לִ֖י לְעָ֑ם וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים׃ {ס}
—
et eritis mihi in populum, et ego ero vobis in Deum.
ወትከውኑ፡ ሊተ፡ ሕዝብየ፡ ወአነሂ፡ እከውነክሙ፡ አምላከ።
“You shall be my people, and I will be your God.
30:23
הִנֵּ֣ה׀ סַעֲרַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֗ה חֵמָה֙ יָֽצְאָ֔ה סַ֖עַר מִתְגּוֹרֵ֑ר עַ֛ל רֹ֥אשׁ רְשָׁעִ֖ים יָחֽוּל׃
τῇ Κηδαρ βασιλίσσῃ τῆς αὐλῆς ἣν ἐπάταξεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀνάβητε ἐπὶ Κηδαρ καὶ πλήσατε τοὺς υἱοὺς Κεδεμ
Ecce turbo Domini, furor egrediens, procella ruens : in capite impiorum conquiescet.
እስመ፡ መዐተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወፅአ፡ በመቅሠፍት፡ ወአምጽአ፡ መንሱተ፡ መዐቱ፡ ወአግብአ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኃጥኣን።
Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out, a sweeping storm; it will burst on the head of the wicked.
30:24
לֹ֣א יָשׁ֗וּב חֲרוֹן֙ אַף־יְהֹוָ֔ה עַד־עֲשֹׂת֥וֹ וְעַד־הֲקִימ֖וֹ מְזִמּ֣וֹת לִבּ֑וֹ בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִ֖ים תִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּ בָֽהּ׃
σκηνὰς αὐτῶν καὶ πρόβατα αὐτῶν λήμψονται ἱμάτια αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῶν καὶ καμήλους αὐτῶν λήμψονται ἑαυτοῖς καὶ καλέσατε ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς ἀπώλειαν κυκλόθεν
Non avertet iram indignationis Dominus, donec faciat et compleat cogitationem cordis sui : in novissimo dierum intelligetis ea.
ወኢትመጥየ፡ መቅሠፍተ፡ መዐቱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ እስከ፡ ይገብር፡ ወእስከ፡ ያቀውም፡ ዘሐለየ፡ በልቡ።
The fierce anger of Yahweh will not return until he has accomplished, and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it.”
30:25—
φεύγετε λίαν βαθύνατε εἰς κάθισιν καθήμενοι ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ ὅτι ἐβουλεύσατο ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος βουλὴν καὶ ἐλογίσατο ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς λογισμόν
——
Flee far away; go deep down to dwell, you who sit in the court, for the king of Babylon has counselled a counsel against you and has devised a device against you.
30:26—
ἀνάστηθι καὶ ἀνάβηθι ἐπ’ ἔθνος εὐσταθοῦν καθήμενον εἰς ἀναψυχήν οἷς οὔκ εἰσιν θύραι οὐ βάλανοι οὐ μοχλοί μόνοι καταλύουσιν
——
Rise up and go up against a nation at ease, dwelling in security, which has no doors, no bolts, no bars; they dwell alone.
30:27—
καὶ ἔσονται κάμηλοι αὐτῶν εἰς προνομὴν καὶ πλῆθος κτηνῶν αὐτῶν εἰς ἀπώλειαν καὶ λικμήσω αὐτοὺς παντὶ πνεύματι κεκαρμένους πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν ἐκ παντὸς πέραν αὐτῶν οἴσω τὴν τροπὴν αὐτῶν εἶπεν κύριος
——
And their camels shall become plunder, and the multitude of their cattle a ruin. And I will winnow them to every wind, those shorn around their face; from every side of them I will bring their rout, said the Lord.
30:28—
καὶ ἔσται ἡ αὐλὴ διατριβὴ στρουθῶν καὶ ἄβατος ἕως αἰῶνος οὐ μὴ καθίσῃ ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ μὴ κατοικήσῃ ἐκεῖ υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου
——
And the court shall become a haunt of birds and an untrodden waste forever; no man shall settle there, nor shall a son of man dwell there.
30:29—
τῇ Δαμασκῷ κατῃσχύνθη Ημαθ καὶ Αρφαδ ὅτι ἤκουσαν ἀκοὴν πονηράν ἐξέστησαν ἐθυμώθησαν ἀναπαύσασθαι οὐ μὴ δύνωνται
——
To Damascus. Hamath and Arphad have been put to shame, for they have heard an evil report; they were astonished, they were enraged; they cannot rest.
30:30—
ἐξελύθη Δαμασκός ἀπεστράφη εἰς φυγήν τρόμος ἐπελάβετο αὐτῆς
——
Damascus has grown feeble; she has turned to flight; trembling has seized her.
30:31—
πῶς οὐχὶ ἐγκατέλιπεν πόλιν ἐμήν κώμην ἠγάπησαν
——
How has she not forsaken my city? They loved the village.
30:32—
διὰ τοῦτο πεσοῦνται νεανίσκοι ἐν πλατείαις σου καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ πολεμισταί σου πεσοῦνται φησὶν κύριος
——
Therefore young men shall fall in your streets, and all your men of war shall fall, says the Lord.
30:33—
καὶ καύσω πῦρ ἐν τείχει Δαμασκοῦ καὶ καταφάγεται ἄμφοδα υἱοῦ Αδερ
——
And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall devour the streets of the son of Ader.
