10:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקְח֣וּ בְנֵֽי ־אַ֠הֲרֹ֠ן נָדָ֨ב וַאֲבִיה֜וּא אִ֣ישׁ מַחְתָּת֗וֹ וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ בָהֵן֙ אֵ֔שׁ וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ עָלֶ֖יהָ קְטֹ֑רֶת וַיַּקְרִ֜יבוּ לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ אֵ֣שׁ זָרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹ֦א צִוָּ֖ה אֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ λαβόντες οἱ δύο υἱοὶ Ααρων Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ’ αὐτὸ πῦρ καὶ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ’ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ προσήνεγκαν ἔναντι κυρίου πῦρ ἀλλότριον ὃ οὐ προσέταξεν κύριος αὐτοῖς
Arreptisque Nadab et Abiu filii Aaron thuribulis , posuerunt ignem , et incensum desuper , offerentes coram Domino ignem alienum : quod eis praeceptum non erat .
ወነሥኡ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ አሮን ፡ ናዳብ ፡ ወአቢዩድ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ማዕጠንቶ ፡ ወወደዩ ፡ ውስቴቶን ፡ እሳተ ፡ ወወደዩ ፡ ውስቴቶን ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ወአምጽኡ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እሳተ ፡ ዘእምባዕድ ፡ ዘኢአዘዞሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered strange fire before Yahweh, which he had not commanded them.
10:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתֵּ֥צֵא אֵ֛שׁ מִלִּפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה וַתֹּ֣אכַל אוֹתָ֑ם וַיָּמֻ֖תוּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτούς καὶ ἀπέθανον ἔναντι κυρίου
Egressusque ignis a Domino , devoravit eos , et mortui sunt coram Domino .
ወወፅአት ፡ እሳት ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበልዐቶሙ ፡ ወሞቱ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Fire came out from before Yahweh, and devoured them, and they died before Yahweh.
10:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֗ן הוּא֩ אֲשֶׁר ־דִּבֶּ֨ר יְהֹוָ֤ה ׀לֵאמֹר֙ בִּקְרֹבַ֣י אֶקָּדֵ֔שׁ וְעַל ־פְּנֵ֥י כׇל ־הָעָ֖ם אֶכָּבֵ֑ד וַיִּדֹּ֖ם אַהֲרֹֽן ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων τοῦτό ἐστιν ὃ εἶπεν κύριος λέγων ἐν τοῖς ἐγγίζουσίν μοι ἁγιασθήσομαι καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ συναγωγῇ δοξασθήσομαι καὶ κατενύχθη Ααρων
Dixitque Moyses ad Aaron : Hoc est quod locutus est Dominus : Sanctificabor in iis qui appropinquant mihi , et in conspectu omnis populi glorificabor . Quod audiens tacuit Aaron .
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በእለ ፡ ይቀርቡኒ ፡ እትቄደስ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ እሴባሕ ፡ ወደንገፀ ፡ አሮን ።
Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what Yahweh spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.
10:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקְרָ֣א מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶל ־מִֽישָׁאֵל֙ וְאֶ֣ל אֶלְצָפָ֔ן בְּנֵ֥י עֻזִּיאֵ֖ל דֹּ֣ד אַהֲרֹ֑ן וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם קִ֞֠רְב֞֠וּ שְׂא֤וּ אֶת ־אֲחֵיכֶם֙ מֵאֵ֣ת פְּנֵי ־הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ אֶל ־מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה ׃
καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς τὸν Μισαδαι καὶ τὸν Ελισαφαν υἱοὺς Οζιηλ υἱοὺς τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς Ααρων καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς προσέλθατε καὶ ἄρατε τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν ἐκ προσώπου τῶν ἁγίων ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς
Vocatis autem Moyses Misaële et Elisaphan filiis Oziel , patrui Aaron , ait ad eos : Ite , et tollite fratres vestros de conspectu sanctuarii , et asportate extra castra .
ወጸውዖሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለሚሳዴ ፡ ወለኤሊሳፈን ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኦዚሔል ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለአበ ፡ አሮን ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ሑሩ ፡ ንሥኡ ፡ አኀዊክሙ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ቅዱሳን ፡ ወአውፅእዎሙ ፡ አፍአ ፡ እምትዕይንት ።
Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, “Draw near, carry your brothers from before the sanctuary out of the camp.”
10:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽיִּקְרְב֗וּ וַיִּשָּׂאֻם֙ בְּכֻתֳּנֹתָ֔ם אֶל ־מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר מֹשֶֽׁה ׃
καὶ προσῆλθον καὶ ἦραν ἐν τοῖς χιτῶσιν αὐτῶν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν Μωυσῆς
Confestimque pergentes , tulerunt eos sicut jacebant , vestitos lineis tunicis , et ejecerunt foras , ut sibi fuerat imperatum .
ወቦኡ ፡ ወአውፅእዎሙ ፡ በአልባሲሆሙ ፡ አፍአ ፡ እምትዕይንት ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤሎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ።
So they came near, and carried them in their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had said.
10:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֣ה אֶֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֡ן וּלְאֶלְעָזָר֩ וּלְאִֽיתָמָ֨ר ׀בָּנָ֜יו רָֽאשֵׁיכֶ֥ם אַל ־תִּפְרָ֣עוּ ׀ וּבִגְדֵיכֶ֤ם לֹֽא ־תִפְרֹ֙מוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א תָמֻ֔תוּ וְעַ֥ל כׇּל ־הָעֵדָ֖ה יִקְצֹ֑ף וַאֲחֵיכֶם֙ כׇּל ־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יִבְכּוּ֙ אֶת ־הַשְּׂרֵפָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר שָׂרַ֥ף יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ τοὺς καταλελειμμένους τὴν κεφαλὴν ὑμῶν οὐκ ἀποκιδαρώσετε καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια ὑμῶν οὐ διαρρήξετε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν ἔσται θυμός οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν πᾶς ὁ οἶκος Ισραηλ κλαύσονται τὸν ἐμπυρισμόν ὃν ἐνεπυρίσθησαν ὑπὸ κυρίου
Locutusque est Moyses ad Aaron , et ad Eleazar , et Ithamar , filios ejus : Capita vestra nolite nudare , et vestimenta nolite scindere , ne forte moriamini , et super omnem coetum oriatur indignatio . Fratres vestri , et omnis domus Israël , plangant incendium quod Dominus suscitavit :
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወለእልዓዛር ፡ ወለይታመር ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ርእሰክሙ ፡ ኢትቅርፁ ፡ ወአልባሲክሙኒ ፡ ኢትሥጥጡ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትሙቱ ፡ ወኢይኩን ፡ መንሱት ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፤ አኀዊክሙሰ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ውእቱ ፡ [ይብክ ]ይዎሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ውዕዩ ፡ እለ ፡ አውዐዮሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, “Don’t let the hair of your heads go loose, and don’t tear your clothes, so that you don’t die, and so that he will not be angry with all the congregation; but let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which Yahweh has kindled.
10:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִפֶּ֩תַח֩ אֹ֨הֶל מוֹעֵ֜ד לֹ֤א תֵֽצְאוּ֙ פֶּן ־תָּמֻ֔תוּ כִּי ־שֶׁ֛מֶן מִשְׁחַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֖וּ כִּדְבַ֥ר מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου οὐκ ἐξελεύσεσθε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε τὸ γὰρ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως τὸ παρὰ κυρίου ἐφ’ ὑμῖν καὶ ἐποίησαν κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα Μωυσῆ
vos autem non egrediemini fores tabernaculi , alioquin peribitis : oleum quippe sanctae unctionis est super vos . Qui fecerunt omnia juxta praeceptum Moysi .
ወእምኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ኢትፃኡ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትሙቱ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቅብእ ፡ ዘይቀብኡ ፡ ዘእግዚአብሔር ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ሀለወ ፡ ወገብሩ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤሎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ።
You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die; for the anointing oil of Yahweh is on you.” They did according to the word of Moses.
10:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה אֶֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος τῷ Ααρων λέγων
Dixit quoque Dominus ad Aaron :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Then Yahweh said to Aaron,
10:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַ֣יִן וְשֵׁכָ֞ר אַל ־תֵּ֣שְׁתְּ ׀ אַתָּ֣ה ׀ וּבָנֶ֣יךָ אִתָּ֗ךְ בְּבֹאֲכֶ֛ם אֶל ־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וְלֹ֣א תָמֻ֑תוּ חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם ׃
οἶνον καὶ σικερα οὐ πίεσθε σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ ἡνίκα ἂν εἰσπορεύησθε εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἢ προσπορευομένων ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνητε νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν
Vinum , et omne quod inebriare potest , non bibetis tu et filii tui , quando intratis in tabernaculum testimonii , ne moriamini : quia praeceptum sempiternum est in generationes vestras :
ወይነ ፡ ወሜሰ ፡ ኢትስተዩ ፡ አንተ ፡ ወደቂቅከ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ትበውኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ አው ፡ ሶበ ፡ ትበውኡ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ወኢትመውቱ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ በመዋዕሊክሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዝንቱ ፤
“You and your sons are not to drink wine or strong drink whenever you go into the Tent of Meeting, or you will die. This shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.
10:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּֽלְהַבְדִּ֔יל בֵּ֥ין הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ וּבֵ֣ין הַחֹ֑ל וּבֵ֥ין הַטָּמֵ֖א וּבֵ֥ין הַטָּהֽוֹר ׃
διαστεῖλαι ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τῶν βεβήλων καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἀκαθάρτων καὶ τῶν καθαρῶν
et ut habeatis scientiam discernendi inter sanctum et profanum , inter pollutum et mundum ;
ዘቦቱ ፡ ይትፈለጥ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ቅዱሳን ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ርኩሳን ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ንጹሓን ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ እለ ፡ ኢኮኑ ፡ ንጹሓነ ።
You are to make a distinction between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean.
10:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּלְהוֹרֹ֖ת אֶת ־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֵ֚ת כׇּל ־הַ֣חֻקִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בְּיַד ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
καὶ συμβιβάσεις τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ πάντα τὰ νόμιμα ἃ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτοὺς διὰ χειρὸς Μωυσῆ
doceatisque filios Israël omnia legitima mea quae locutus est Dominus ad eos per manum Moysi .
ወትሜህሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ሕገ ፡ ዘነገሮሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በእደ ፡ ሙሴ ።
You are to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Yahweh has spoken to them by Moses.”
10:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֗ן וְאֶ֣ל אֶ֠לְעָזָ֠ר וְאֶל ־אִ֨יתָמָ֥ר ׀בָּנָיו֮ הַנּֽוֹתָרִים֒ קְח֣וּ אֶת ־הַמִּנְחָ֗ה הַנּוֹתֶ֙רֶת֙ מֵאִשֵּׁ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה וְאִכְל֥וּהָ מַצּ֖וֹת אֵ֣צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ כִּ֛י קֹ֥דֶשׁ קׇֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִֽוא ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων τοὺς καταλειφθέντας λάβετε τὴν θυσίαν τὴν καταλειφθεῖσαν ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου καὶ φάγεσθε ἄζυμα παρὰ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν
Locutusque est Moyses ad Aaron , et ad Eleazar , et Ithamar , filios ejus , qui erant residui : Tollite sacrificium , quod remansit de oblatione Domini , et comedite illud absque fermento juxta altare , quia Sanctum sanctorum est .
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ ወለእልዓዛር ፡ ወለይታማር ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ ንሥኡ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ዘተርፈ ፡ እምቍርባኑ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወብልዑ ፡ ናእተ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ለቅዱሳን ፡ ውእቱ ።
Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons who were left, “Take the meal offering that remains of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire, and eat it without yeast beside the altar; for it is most holy;
10:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם אֹתָהּ֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָד֔וֹשׁ כִּ֣י חׇקְךָ֤ וְחׇק ־בָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ הִ֔וא מֵאִשֵּׁ֖י יְהֹוָ֑ה כִּי ־כֵ֖ן צֻוֵּֽיתִי ׃
καὶ φάγεσθε αὐτὴν ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ νόμιμον γάρ σοί ἐστιν καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου τοῦτο ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου οὕτω γὰρ ἐντέταλταί μοι
Comedetis autem in loco sancto : quod datum est tibi et filiis tuis de oblationibus Domini , sicut praeceptum est mihi .
እስመ ፡ ሕግከ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወሕጎሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለደቂቅከ ፡ እምነ ፡ መሥዋዕቱ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ አዘዘኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
and you shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your portion, and your sons’ portion, of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire; for so I am commanded.
10:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵת֩ חֲזֵ֨ה הַתְּנוּפָ֜ה וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שׁ֣וֹק הַתְּרוּמָ֗ה תֹּֽאכְלוּ֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם טָה֔וֹר אַתָּ֕ה וּבָנֶ֥יךָ וּבְנֹתֶ֖יךָ אִתָּ֑ךְ כִּֽי ־חׇקְךָ֤ וְחׇק ־בָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ נִתְּנ֔וּ מִזִּבְחֵ֥י שַׁלְמֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος φάγεσθε ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκός σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον γὰρ σοὶ καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου ἐδόθη ἀπὸ τῶν θυσιῶν τοῦ σωτηρίου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Pectusculum quoque quod oblatum est , et armum qui separatus est , edetis in loco mundissimo tu et filii tui , et filiae tuae tecum : tibi enim ac liberis tuis reposita sunt de hostiis salutaribus filiorum Israël :
ወተላዐኒ ፡ ዘመባእ ፡ ወአገዳኒ ፡ ዘመበእ ፡ ትበልዑ ፡ በመካን ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ አንተ ፡ ወደቂቅከ ፡ ወቤትከ ፡ ምስሌከ ፤ ሕግከ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወሕጎሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለደቂቅከ ፡ ዘተውህበ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ መድኀኒት ፡ ዘደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
The waved breast and the heaved thigh you shall eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are given as your portion, and your sons’ portion, out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the children of Israel.
10:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ שׁ֣וֹק הַתְּרוּמָ֞ה וַחֲזֵ֣ה הַתְּנוּפָ֗ה עַ֣ל אִשֵּׁ֤י הַחֲלָבִים֙ יָבִ֔יאוּ לְהָנִ֥יף תְּנוּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְהָיָ֨ה לְךָ֜ וּלְבָנֶ֤יךָ אִתְּךָ֙ לְחׇק ־עוֹלָ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָֽה ׃
τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος ἐπὶ τῶν καρπωμάτων τῶν στεάτων προσοίσουσιν ἀφόρισμα ἀφορίσαι ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἔσται σοὶ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
eo quod armum et pectus , et adipes qui cremantur in altari , elevaverunt coram Domino , et pertineant ad te , et ad filios tuos , lege perpetua , sicut praecepit Dominus .
አገደ ፡ ዘመባእ ፡ ወተላዕ ፡ ዘይፈልጡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መሥዋዕት ፡ ዘሥብሕ ፡ ያመጽእዎ ፡ ፈሊጦሙ ፡ ወይፈልጥዎ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይኩንከ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወለደቂቅከ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ።
They shall bring the heaved thigh and the waved breast with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before Yahweh. It shall be yours, and your sons’ with you, as a portion forever, as Yahweh has commanded.”
10:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׂעִ֣יר הַֽחַטָּ֗את דָּרֹ֥שׁ דָּרַ֛שׁ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְהִנֵּ֣ה שֹׂרָ֑ף וַ֠יִּקְצֹ֠ף עַל ־אֶלְעָזָ֤ר וְעַל ־אִֽיתָמָר֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֔ן הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ζητῶν ἐξεζήτησεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ὅδε ἐνεπεπύριστο καὶ ἐθυμώθη Μωυσῆς ἐπὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων τοὺς καταλελειμμένους λέγων
Inter haec , hircum , qui oblatus fuerat pro peccato , cum quaereret Moyses , exustum reperit : iratusque contra Eleazar et Ithamar filios Aaron , qui remanserant , ait :
ወኀሠሦ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለሐርጌ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ወሶበ ፡ የኀሥሥ ፡ በዘ ፡ ወድአ ፡ ውዕየ ፡ ወተምዕዐ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ዲበ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ወይታመር ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ።
Moses diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burned. He was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying,
10:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ מַדּ֗וּעַ לֹֽא ־אֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם אֶת ־הַחַטָּאת֙ בִּמְק֣וֹם הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ כִּ֛י קֹ֥דֶשׁ קׇֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִ֑וא וְאֹתָ֣הּ ׀ נָתַ֣ן לָכֶ֗ם לָשֵׂאת֙ אֶת ־עֲוֺ֣ן הָעֵדָ֔ה לְכַפֵּ֥ר עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφάγετε τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ὅτι γὰρ ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν τοῦτο ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν φαγεῖν ἵνα ἀφέλητε τὴν ἁμαρτίαν τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ἐξιλάσησθε περὶ αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου
Cur non comedistis hostiam pro peccato in loco sancto , quae Sancta sanctorum est , et data vobis ut portetis iniquitatem multitudinis , et rogetis pro ea in conspectu Domini ,
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ለምንት ፡ ኢበላዕክሙ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ በመካን ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ለቅዱሳን ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወወሀበክሙ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ትብልዑ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትኅድጉ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ወታስተስርዩ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“Why haven’t you eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is most holy, and he has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Yahweh?
10:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֵ֚ן לֹא ־הוּבָ֣א אֶת ־דָּמָ֔הּ אֶל ־הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ פְּנִ֑ימָה אָכ֨וֹל תֹּאכְל֥וּ אֹתָ֛הּ בַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוֵּֽיתִי ׃
οὐ γὰρ εἰσήχθη τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἅγιον κατὰ πρόσωπον ἔσω φάγεσθε αὐτὸ ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ὃν τρόπον μοι συνέταξεν κύριος
praesertim cum de sanguine illius non sit illatum intra sancta , et comedere debueritis eam in Sanctuario , sicut praeceptum est mihi ?
እስመ ፡ [ለዘኢ ]ቦአ ፡ ደሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ በውስ [ጥ ] ፡ ትበልዕዎ ፡ በመካን ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ በከመ ፡ ተአዘዝኩ ።
Behold, its blood was not brought into the inner part of the sanctuary. You certainly should have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I commanded.”
10:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֗ה הֵ֣ן הַ֠יּ֠וֹם הִקְרִ֨יבוּ אֶת ־חַטָּאתָ֤ם וְאֶת ־עֹֽלָתָם֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה וַתִּקְרֶ֥אנָה אֹתִ֖י כָּאֵ֑לֶּה וְאָכַ֤לְתִּי חַטָּאת֙ הַיּ֔וֹם הַיִּיטַ֖ב בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων εἰ σήμερον προσαγειόχασιν τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ συμβέβηκέν μοι ταῦτα καὶ φάγομαι τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας σήμερον μὴ ἀρεστὸν ἔσται κυρίῳ
Respondit Aaron : Oblata est hodie victima pro peccato , et holocaustum coram Domino : mihi autem accidit quod vides ; quomodo potui comedere eam , aut placere Domino in caeremoniis mente lugubri ?
ወተናገሮ ፡ አሮን ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ዮም ፡ አመ ፡ ቀደሱ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአቶሙ ፡ ወመሥዋዕቶሙኒ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ረከበተኒ ፡ ዮጊ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ ሠና [የ ] ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ እብላዕ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ።
Aaron spoke to Moses, “Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before Yahweh; and such things as these have happened to me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing in Yahweh’s sight?”
10:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיִּיטַ֖ב בְּעֵינָֽיו ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἤκουσεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἤρεσεν αὐτῷ
Quod cum audisset Moyses , recepit satisfactionem .
ወሰምዐ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወአደሞ ።
When Moses heard that, it was pleasing in his sight.
