26:1
לֹֽא־תַעֲשׂ֨וּ לָכֶ֜ם אֱלִילִ֗ם וּפֶ֤סֶל וּמַצֵּבָה֙ לֹֽא־תָקִ֣ימוּ לָכֶ֔ם וְאֶ֣בֶן מַשְׂכִּ֗ית לֹ֤א תִתְּנוּ֙ בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֖ת עָלֶ֑יהָ כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
οὐ ποιήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς χειροποίητα οὐδὲ γλυπτὰ οὐδὲ στήλην ἀναστήσετε ὑμῖν οὐδὲ λίθον σκοπὸν θήσετε ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν προσκυνῆσαι αὐτῷ ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν
Ego Dominus Deus vester : non facietis vobis idolum, et sculptile, nec titulos erigetis, nec insignem lapidem ponetis in terra vestra, ut adoretis eum. Ego enim sum Dominus Deus vester.
ወኢትግበሩ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወኢግልፎ ፡ ወኢታቅሙ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ሐውልተ ፡ እብን ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድርክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትስግዱ ፡ ላቲ ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ።
“‘You shall make for yourselves no idols, and you shall not raise up a carved image or a pillar, and you shall not place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am Yahweh your God.
26:2
אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתַ֣י תִּשְׁמֹ֔רוּ וּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י תִּירָ֑אוּ אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
τὰ σάββατά μου φυλάξεσθε καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων μου φοβηθήσεσθε ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
Custodite sabbata mea, et pavete ad sanctuarium meum. Ego Dominus.
ወዕቀቡ ፡ ሰንበትየ ፡ ወፍርሁ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቅዱሳንየ ፡ እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“‘You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
26:3
אִם־בְּחֻקֹּתַ֖י תֵּלֵ֑כוּ וְאֶת־מִצְוֺתַ֣י תִּשְׁמְר֔וּ וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם אֹתָֽם׃
ἐὰν τοῖς προστάγμασίν μου πορεύησθε καὶ τὰς ἐντολάς μου φυλάσσησθε καὶ ποιήσητε αὐτάς
Si in praeceptis meis ambulaveritis, et mandata mea custodieritis, et feceritis ea, dabo vobis pluvias temporibus suis,
ለእመ ፡ ሖርክሙ ፡ በትእዛዝየ ፡ ወዐቀብክሙ ፡ ኵነኔየ ፡ ወገበርክምዎ ፤
“‘If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them,
26:4
וְנָתַתִּ֥י גִשְׁמֵיכֶ֖ם בְּעִתָּ֑ם וְנָתְנָ֤ה הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְעֵ֥ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה יִתֵּ֥ן פִּרְיֽוֹ׃
καὶ δώσω τὸν ὑετὸν ὑμῖν ἐν καιρῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ γῆ δώσει τὰ γενήματα αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ ξύλα τῶν πεδίων ἀποδώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν
et terra gignet germen suum, et pomis arbores replebuntur.
እሁበክሙ ፡ ዝናመ ፡ በዘመኑ ፡ ወምድርኒ ፡ ትሁብ ፡ እክላ ፡ ወዕፀወ ፡ ገዳምኒ ፡ ይሁብ ፡ ፍሬሆሙ ።
then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
26:5
וְהִשִּׂ֨יג לָכֶ֥ם דַּ֙יִשׁ֙ אֶת־בָּצִ֔יר וּבָצִ֖יר יַשִּׂ֣יג אֶת־זָ֑רַע וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם לַחְמְכֶם֙ לָשֹׂ֔בַע וִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֥ם לָבֶ֖טַח בְּאַרְצְכֶֽם׃
καὶ καταλήμψεται ὑμῖν ὁ ἀλοητὸς τὸν τρύγητον καὶ ὁ τρύγητος καταλήμψεται τὸν σπόρον καὶ φάγεσθε τὸν ἄρτον ὑμῶν εἰς πλησμονὴν καὶ κατοικήσετε μετὰ ἀσφαλείας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν
Apprehendet messium tritura vindemiam, et vindemia occupabit sementem : et comedetis panem vestrum in saturitate, et absque pavore habitabitis in terra vestra.
ወይትራከብ ፡ ማእረር ፡ ምስለ ፡ ቀሥም ፡ ወቀሢምኒ ፡ ይትራከብ ፡ ለዘርእ ፡ ወትበልዑ ፡ እክለክሙ ፡ ለጽጋብ ፡ ወትነብሩ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትትአመኑ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድርክሙ ።
Your threshing shall continue until the vintage, and the vintage shall continue until the sowing time. You shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
26:6
וְנָתַתִּ֤י שָׁלוֹם֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וּשְׁכַבְתֶּ֖ם וְאֵ֣ין מַחֲרִ֑יד וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֞י חַיָּ֤ה רָעָה֙ מִן־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְחֶ֖רֶב לֹא־תַעֲבֹ֥ר בְּאַרְצְכֶֽם׃
καὶ πόλεμος οὐ διελεύσεται διὰ τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν καὶ δώσω εἰρήνην ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν καὶ κοιμηθήσεσθε καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὑμᾶς ὁ ἐκφοβῶν καὶ ἀπολῶ θηρία πονηρὰ ἐκ τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν
Dabo pacem in finibus vestris : dormietis, et non erit qui exterreat. Auferam malas bestias, et gladius non transibit terminos vestros.
ወእሁበክሙ ፡ ሰላመ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድርክሙ ፡ ወትነውሙ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘያደነግፀክሙ ፡ ወአጠፍኦሙ ፡ ለአራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እምነ ፡ ብሔርክሙ ።
“‘I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid. I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
26:7
וּרְדַפְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם וְנָפְל֥וּ לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם לֶחָֽרֶב׃
καὶ διώξεσθε τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν καὶ πεσοῦνται ἐναντίον ὑμῶν φόνῳ
Persequemini inimicos vestros, et corruent coram vobis.
ወትቀትልዎሙ ፡ [ለፀርክሙ ፡] ወይመውቱ ፡ በቅድሜክሙ ።
You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
26:8
וְרָדְפ֨וּ מִכֶּ֤ם חֲמִשָּׁה֙ מֵאָ֔ה וּמֵאָ֥ה מִכֶּ֖ם רְבָבָ֣ה יִרְדֹּ֑פוּ וְנָפְל֧וּ אֹיְבֵיכֶ֛ם לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם לֶחָֽרֶב׃
καὶ διώξονται ἐξ ὑμῶν πέντε ἑκατόν καὶ ἑκατὸν ὑμῶν διώξονται μυριάδας καὶ πεσοῦνται οἱ ἐχθροὶ ὑμῶν ἐναντίον ὑμῶν μαχαίρᾳ
Persequentur quinque de vestris centum alienos, et centum de vobis decem millia : cadent inimici vestri gladio in conspectu vestro.
ወኃምስቱ ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ ያነትዕዎሙ ፡ ለምእት ፡ ወምእት ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ ያነትዕዎሙ ፡ ለእልፍ ፡ ወይወድቁ ፡ ጸላእትክሙ ፡ በቅድሜክሙ ፡ በኀፂን ።
Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
26:9
וּפָנִ֣יתִי אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם וְהִפְרֵיתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֖י אֶתְכֶ֑ם וַהֲקִימֹתִ֥י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י אִתְּכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἐπιβλέψω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς καὶ αὐξανῶ ὑμᾶς καὶ πληθυνῶ ὑμᾶς καὶ στήσω τὴν διαθήκην μου μεθ’ ὑμῶν
Respiciam vos, et crescere faciam : multiplicabimini, et firmabo pactum meum vobiscum.
ወእኔጽር ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወኣዐብየክሙ ፡ ወኣበዝኀክሙ ፡ ወኣቀውም ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ምስሌክሙ ።
“‘I will have respect for you, make you fruitful, multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.
26:10
וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֥ם יָשָׁ֖ן נוֹשָׁ֑ן וְיָשָׁ֕ן מִפְּנֵ֥י חָדָ֖שׁ תּוֹצִֽיאוּ׃
καὶ φάγεσθε παλαιὰ καὶ παλαιὰ παλαιῶν καὶ παλαιὰ ἐκ προσώπου νέων ἐξοίσετε
Comedetis vetustissima veterum, et vetera novis supervenientibus projicietis.
ወትበልዑ ፡ ከራሜ ፡ ወከራሜ ፡ ከራሚ ፡ ወታወፅኡ ፡ ከራሜ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታብኡ ፡ ሐዲሰ ።
You shall eat old supplies long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.
26:11
וְנָתַתִּ֥י מִשְׁכָּנִ֖י בְּתוֹכְכֶ֑ם וְלֹֽא־תִגְעַ֥ל נַפְשִׁ֖י אֶתְכֶֽם׃
καὶ θήσω τὴν διαθήκην μου ἐν ὑμῖν καὶ οὐ βδελύξεται ἡ ψυχή μου ὑμᾶς
Ponam tabernaculum meum in medio vestri, et non abjiciet vos anima mea.
ወእተክል ፡ ማኅደርየ ፡ ኀቤክሙ ፡ ወኢታስቆርረክሙ ፡ ነፍስየ ።
I will set my tent among you, and my soul won’t abhor you.
26:12
וְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּי֙ בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָכֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים וְאַתֶּ֖ם תִּהְיוּ־לִ֥י לְעָֽם׃
καὶ ἐμπεριπατήσω ἐν ὑμῖν καὶ ἔσομαι ὑμῶν θεός καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔσεσθέ μου λαός
Ambulabo inter vos, et ero Deus vester, vosque eritis populus meus.
ወኣንሶሱ ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ ወእከውነክሙ ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ወአንትሙኒ ፡ ትከውኑኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ።
I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you will be my people.
26:13
אֲנִ֞י יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר הוֹצֵ֤אתִי אֶתְכֶם֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם מִֽהְיֹ֥ת לָהֶ֖ם עֲבָדִ֑ים וָאֶשְׁבֹּר֙ מֹטֹ֣ת עֻלְּכֶ֔ם וָאוֹלֵ֥ךְ אֶתְכֶ֖ם קֽוֹמְמִיּֽוּת׃ {פ}
ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ὄντων ὑμῶν δούλων καὶ συνέτριψα τὸν δεσμὸν τοῦ ζυγοῦ ὑμῶν καὶ ἤγαγον ὑμᾶς μετὰ παρρησίας
Ego Dominus Deus vester, qui eduxi vos de terra Aegyptiorum, ne serviretis eis : et qui confregi catenas cervicum vestrarum, ut incederetis erecti.
እስመ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ዘአውፃእኩክሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አግብርት ፡ አንትሙ ፡ ወሰበርኩ ፡ መዋቅሕቲክሙ ፡ ወአውፃእኩክሙ ፡ ገሃደ ።
I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you walk upright.
26:14
וְאִם־לֹ֥א תִשְׁמְע֖וּ לִ֑י וְלֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֔וּ אֵ֥ת כׇּל־הַמִּצְוֺ֖ת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ὑπακούσητέ μου μηδὲ ποιήσητε τὰ προστάγματά μου ταῦτα
Quod si non audieritis me, nec feceritis omnia mandata mea,
ወእመሰ ፡ ኢሰማዕክሙኒ ፡ ወኢገበርክሙ ፡ ትእዛዝየ ፤
“‘But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments,
26:15
וְאִם־בְּחֻקֹּתַ֣י תִּמְאָ֔סוּ וְאִ֥ם אֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י תִּגְעַ֣ל נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם לְבִלְתִּ֤י עֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתַ֔י לְהַפְרְכֶ֖ם אֶת־בְּרִיתִֽי׃
ἀλλὰ ἀπειθήσητε αὐτοῖς καὶ τοῖς κρίμασίν μου προσοχθίσῃ ἡ ψυχὴ ὑμῶν ὥστε ὑμᾶς μὴ ποιεῖν πάσας τὰς ἐντολάς μου ὥστε διασκεδάσαι τὴν διαθήκην μου
si spreveritis leges meas, et judicia mea contempseritis, ut non faciatis ea quae a me constituta sunt, et ad irritum perducatis pactum meum :
አላ ፡ ክሕድክሙ ፡ ወተቈጥዐት ፡ ነፍስክሙ ፡ ኵነኔየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትግበሩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ትእዛዝየ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ትኅድጉ ፡ ሥርዐትየ ፤
and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant,
26:16
אַף־אֲנִ֞י אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־זֹּ֣את לָכֶ֗ם וְהִפְקַדְתִּ֨י עֲלֵיכֶ֤ם בֶּֽהָלָה֙ אֶת־הַשַּׁחֶ֣פֶת וְאֶת־הַקַּדַּ֔חַת מְכַלּ֥וֹת עֵינַ֖יִם וּמְדִיבֹ֣ת נָ֑פֶשׁ וּזְרַעְתֶּ֤ם לָרִיק֙ זַרְעֲכֶ֔ם וַאֲכָלֻ֖הוּ אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἐγὼ ποιήσω οὕτως ὑμῖν καὶ ἐπισυστήσω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς τὴν ἀπορίαν τήν τε ψώραν καὶ τὸν ἴκτερον καὶ σφακελίζοντας τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ τὴν ψυχὴν ὑμῶν ἐκτήκουσαν καὶ σπερεῖτε διὰ κενῆς τὰ σπέρματα ὑμῶν καὶ ἔδονται οἱ ὑπεναντίοι ὑμῶν
ego quoque haec faciam vobis : visitabo vos velociter in egestate, et ardore, qui conficiat oculos vestros, et consumat animas vestras. Frustra seretis sementem, quae ab hostibus devorabitur.
ወአነኒ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ እገብረክሙ ፡ ወኣመጽኣ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ለእኪት ፡ ዐበቀ ፡ ወደዌ ፡ ሲሕ ፡ ወዘይዴጕጸክሙ ፡ አዕይንቲክሙ ፡ ወትትመሰው ፡ ነፍስክሙ ፡ ወትዘርኡ ፡ ለከንቱ ፡ ዘርአክሙ ፡ ወይበልዑክሙ ፡ ፀርክሙ ።
I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away. You will sow your seed in vain, for your enemies will eat it.
26:17
וְנָתַתִּ֤י פָנַי֙ בָּכֶ֔ם וְנִגַּפְתֶּ֖ם לִפְנֵ֣י אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם וְרָד֤וּ בָכֶם֙ שֹֽׂנְאֵיכֶ֔ם וְנַסְתֶּ֖ם וְאֵין־רֹדֵ֥ף אֶתְכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἐπιστήσω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς καὶ πεσεῖσθε ἐναντίον τῶν ἐχθρῶν ὑμῶν καὶ διώξονται ὑμᾶς οἱ μισοῦντες ὑμᾶς καὶ φεύξεσθε οὐθενὸς διώκοντος ὑμᾶς
Ponam faciem meam contra vos, et corruetis coram hostibus vestris, et subjiciemini his qui oderunt vos : fugietis, nemine persequente.
ወኣቀውም ፡ ገጽየ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወትወድቁ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ፀርክሙ ፡ ወያነትዑክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይጸልዑክሙ ፡ ወትነትዑ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ዘይዴግነክሙ ።
I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you; and you will flee when no one pursues you.
26:18
וְאִ֨ם־עַד־אֵ֔לֶּה לֹ֥א תִשְׁמְע֖וּ לִ֑י וְיָסַפְתִּי֙ לְיַסְּרָ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם שֶׁ֖בַע עַל־חַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἐὰν ἕως τούτου μὴ ὑπακούσητέ μου καὶ προσθήσω τοῦ παιδεῦσαι ὑμᾶς ἑπτάκις ἐπὶ ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις ὑμῶν
Sin autem nec sic obedieritis mihi, addam correptiones vestras septuplum propter peccata vestra,
ወእመ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዝንቱኒ ፡ ኢሰማዕክሙኒ ፡ ወእዌስክ ፡ መቅሠፍተክሙ ፡ ሰባዕተ ፡ መቅሠፍተ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኀጣይኢክሙ ።
“‘If you in spite of these things will not listen to me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.
26:19
וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֖י אֶת־גְּא֣וֹן עֻזְּכֶ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־שְׁמֵיכֶם֙ כַּבַּרְזֶ֔ל וְאֶֽת־אַרְצְכֶ֖ם כַּנְּחֻשָֽׁה׃
καὶ συντρίψω τὴν ὕβριν τῆς ὑπερηφανίας ὑμῶν καὶ θήσω τὸν οὐρανὸν ὑμῖν σιδηροῦν καὶ τὴν γῆν ὑμῶν ὡσεὶ χαλκῆν
et conteram superbiam duritiae vestrae. Daboque vobis caelum desuper sicut ferrum, et terram aeneam.
ወእሰብር ፡ ፅእለተ ፡ ትዕቢትክሙ ፡ ወእሬስያ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ለሰማይ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኀፂን ፡ ወለምድርኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ብርት ።
I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your sky like iron, and your soil like bronze.
26:20
וְתַ֥ם לָרִ֖יק כֹּחֲכֶ֑ם וְלֹֽא־תִתֵּ֤ן אַרְצְכֶם֙ אֶת־יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְעֵ֣ץ הָאָ֔רֶץ לֹ֥א יִתֵּ֖ן פִּרְיֽוֹ׃
καὶ ἔσται εἰς κενὸν ἡ ἰσχὺς ὑμῶν καὶ οὐ δώσει ἡ γῆ ὑμῶν τὸν σπόρον αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ ξύλον τοῦ ἀγροῦ ὑμῶν οὐ δώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ
Consumetur incassum labor vester, non proferet terra germen, nec arbores poma praebebunt.
ወይከውን ፡ ለከንቱ ፡ ኀይልክሙ ፡ ወኢትሁበክሙ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘርኣ ፡ ወዕፀ ፡ ገዳምኒ ፡ ኢይሁበክሙ ፡ ፍሬሁ ።
Your strength will be spent in vain; for your land won’t yield its increase, neither will the trees of the land yield their fruit.
26:21
וְאִם־תֵּֽלְכ֤וּ עִמִּי֙ קֶ֔רִי וְלֹ֥א תֹאב֖וּ לִשְׁמֹ֣עַֽ לִ֑י וְיָסַפְתִּ֤י עֲלֵיכֶם֙ מַכָּ֔ה שֶׁ֖בַע כְּחַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἐὰν μετὰ ταῦτα πορεύησθε πλάγιοι καὶ μὴ βούλησθε ὑπακούειν μου προσθήσω ὑμῖν πληγὰς ἑπτὰ κατὰ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ὑμῶν
Si ambulaveritis ex adverso mihi, nec volueritis audire me, addam plagas vestras in septuplum propter peccata vestra :
ወእመኒ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ሖርክሙ ፡ ግድመ ፡ ወኢፈቀድክሙ ፡ ትስምዑኒ ፡ እዌስከክሙ ፡ ፯መቅሠፍተ ፡ በከመ ፡ ኀጣይኢክሙ ።
“‘If you walk contrary to me, and won’t listen to me, then I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.
26:22
וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּ֨י בָכֶ֜ם אֶת־חַיַּ֤ת הַשָּׂדֶה֙ וְשִׁכְּלָ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם וְהִכְרִ֙יתָה֙ אֶת־בְּהֶמְתְּכֶ֔ם וְהִמְעִ֖יטָה אֶתְכֶ֑ם וְנָשַׁ֖מּוּ דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἀποστελῶ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς τὰ θηρία τὰ ἄγρια τῆς γῆς καὶ κατέδεται ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐξαναλώσει τὰ κτήνη ὑμῶν καὶ ὀλιγοστοὺς ποιήσει ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐρημωθήσονται αἱ ὁδοὶ ὑμῶν
immittamque in vos bestias agri, quae consumant vos, et pecora vestra, et ad paucitatem cuncta redigant, desertaeque fiant viae vestrae.
ወእፌኑ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እኩየ ፡ ወይበልዑክሙ ፡ ወያጠፍኡ ፡ እንስሳክሙ ፡ ወውሑዳነ ፡ ያተርፉክሙ ፡ ወበድወ ፡ ይሬስዩ ፡ ፍናዌክሙ ።
I will send the wild animals among you, which will rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number. Your roads will become desolate.
26:23
וְאִ֨ם־בְּאֵ֔לֶּה לֹ֥א תִוָּסְר֖וּ לִ֑י וַהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם עִמִּ֖י קֶֽרִי׃
καὶ ἐπὶ τούτοις ἐὰν μὴ παιδευθῆτε ἀλλὰ πορεύησθε πρός με πλάγιοι
Quod si nec sic volueritis recipere disciplinam, sed ambulaveritis ex adverso mihi :
ወእመኒ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ኢፈራህክሙ ፡ አላ ፡ ሖርክሙ ፡ ግድመ ፡ ምስሌየ ፤
“‘If by these things you won’t be turned back to me, but will walk contrary to me,
26:24
וְהָלַכְתִּ֧י אַף־אֲנִ֛י עִמָּכֶ֖ם בְּקֶ֑רִי וְהִכֵּיתִ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ גַּם־אָ֔נִי שֶׁ֖בַע עַל־חַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃
πορεύσομαι κἀγὼ μεθ’ ὑμῶν θυμῷ πλαγίῳ καὶ πατάξω ὑμᾶς κἀγὼ ἑπτάκις ἀντὶ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὑμῶν
ego quoque contra vos adversus incedam, et percutiam vos septies propter peccata vestra,
አሐውር ፡ አነኒ ፡ በመዐት ፡ ግድመ ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ ወእቀትለክሙ ፡ አነኒ ፡ ምስብዒተ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኀጣይኢክሙ ።
then I will also walk contrary to you; and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins.
26:25
וְהֵבֵאתִ֨י עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם חֶ֗רֶב נֹקֶ֙מֶת֙ נְקַם־בְּרִ֔ית וְנֶאֱסַפְתֶּ֖ם אֶל־עָרֵיכֶ֑ם וְשִׁלַּ֤חְתִּי דֶ֙בֶר֙ בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם וְנִתַּתֶּ֖ם בְּיַד־אוֹיֵֽב׃
καὶ ἐπάξω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς μάχαιραν ἐκδικοῦσαν δίκην διαθήκης καὶ καταφεύξεσθε εἰς τὰς πόλεις ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ θάνατον εἰς ὑμᾶς καὶ παραδοθήσεσθε εἰς χεῖρας ἐχθρῶν
inducamque super vos gladium ultorem foederis mei. Cumque confugeritis in urbes, mittam pestilentiam in medio vestri, et trademini in manibus hostium,
ወኣመጽእ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ መጥባኅተ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትዴግነክሙ ፡ ወትትቤቀለክሙ ፡ በቀለ ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ወትጐይዩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አህጉሪክሙ ፡ ወእፌኑ ፡ ሞተ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወትገብኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እደ ፡ ፀርክሙ ።
I will bring a sword upon you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant. You will be gathered together within your cities, and I will send the pestilence among you. You will be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26:26
בְּשִׁבְרִ֣י לָכֶם֮ מַטֵּה־לֶ֒חֶם֒ וְ֠אָפ֠וּ עֶ֣שֶׂר נָשִׁ֤ים לַחְמְכֶם֙ בְּתַנּ֣וּר אֶחָ֔ד וְהֵשִׁ֥יבוּ לַחְמְכֶ֖ם בַּמִּשְׁקָ֑ל וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֖ם וְלֹ֥א תִשְׂבָּֽעוּ׃ {ס}
ἐν τῷ θλῖψαι ὑμᾶς σιτοδείᾳ ἄρτων καὶ πέψουσιν δέκα γυναῖκες τοὺς ἄρτους ὑμῶν ἐν κλιβάνῳ ἑνὶ καὶ ἀποδώσουσιν τοὺς ἄρτους ὑμῶν ἐν σταθμῷ καὶ φάγεσθε καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐμπλησθῆτε
postquam confregero baculum panis vestri : ita ut decem mulieres in uno clibano coquant panes, et reddant eos ad pondus : et comedetis, et non saturabimini.
ሶበ ፡ አሕመመክሙ ፡ ኀጣአ ፡ እክል ፡ ዘትሴስዩ ፡ ወያበስላ ፡ ዓሥሩ ፡ አንስት ፡ ኅብስተክሙ ፡ በአሐዱ ፡ እቶን ፡ ወይሁባክሙ ፡ ኅብስተክሙ ፡ በመድሎት ፡ ወትበልዑ ፡ ወኢትጸግቡ ።
When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight. You shall eat, and not be satisfied.
26:27
וְאִ֨ם־בְּזֹ֔את לֹ֥א תִשְׁמְע֖וּ לִ֑י וַהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם עִמִּ֖י בְּקֶֽרִי׃
ἐὰν δὲ ἐπὶ τούτοις μὴ ὑπακούσητέ μου καὶ πορεύησθε πρός με πλάγιοι
Sin autem nec per haec audieritis me, sed ambulaveritis contra me :
ወእመኒ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ኢሰማዕክሙኒ ፡ አላ ፡ ሖርክሙ ፡ ምስሌየ ፡ ግድመ ፤
“‘If you in spite of this won’t listen to me, but walk contrary to me,
26:28
וְהָלַכְתִּ֥י עִמָּכֶ֖ם בַּחֲמַת־קֶ֑רִי וְיִסַּרְתִּ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ אַף־אָ֔נִי שֶׁ֖בַע עַל־חַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ αὐτὸς πορεύσομαι μεθ’ ὑμῶν ἐν θυμῷ πλαγίῳ καὶ παιδεύσω ὑμᾶς ἐγὼ ἑπτάκις κατὰ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ὑμῶν
et ego incedam adversus vos in furore contrario, et corripiam vos septem plagis propter peccata vestra :
ወአነኒ ፡ አሐውር ፡ ምስሌክሙ ፡ በመዐት ፡ ግድመ ፡ ወእቀሥፈክሙ ፡ አነኒ ፡ በምስብዒት ፡ በከመ ፡ ኀጣይኢክሙ ።
then I will walk contrary to you in wrath. I will also chastise you seven times for your sins.
26:29
וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֖ם בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֵיכֶ֑ם וּבְשַׂ֥ר בְּנֹתֵיכֶ֖ם תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃
καὶ φάγεσθε τὰς σάρκας τῶν υἱῶν ὑμῶν καὶ τὰς σάρκας τῶν θυγατέρων ὑμῶν φάγεσθε
ita ut comedatis carnes filiorum vestrorum et filiarum vestrarum.
ወትበልዑ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ደቂቅክሙ ፡ ወትበልዑ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ አዋልዲክሙ ።
You will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.
26:30
וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֞י אֶת־בָּמֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם וְהִכְרַתִּי֙ אֶת־חַמָּ֣נֵיכֶ֔ם וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ אֶת־פִּגְרֵיכֶ֔ם עַל־פִּגְרֵ֖י גִּלּוּלֵיכֶ֑ם וְגָעֲלָ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י אֶתְכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἐρημώσω τὰς στήλας ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω τὰ ξύλινα χειροποίητα ὑμῶν καὶ θήσω τὰ κῶλα ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τὰ κῶλα τῶν εἰδώλων ὑμῶν καὶ προσοχθιεῖ ἡ ψυχή μου ὑμῖν
Destruam excelsa vestra, et simulacra confringam. Cadetis inter ruinas idolorum vestrorum, et abominabitur vos anima mea,
ወእደመስስ ፡ ም[ሰሊ]ክሙ ፡ ወእሤሩ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደዊክሙ ፡ ለዕፀው ፡ ወእዘሩ ፡ አብድንቲክሙ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ምስለ ፡ አማልክቲክሙ ፡ ወትትቌጥዐክሙ ፡ ነፍስየ ።
I will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul will abhor you.
26:31
וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־עָֽרֵיכֶם֙ חׇרְבָּ֔ה וַהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֖י אֶת־מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶ֑ם וְלֹ֣א אָרִ֔יחַ בְּרֵ֖יחַ נִיחֹֽחֲכֶֽם׃
καὶ θήσω τὰς πόλεις ὑμῶν ἐρήμους καὶ ἐξερημώσω τὰ ἅγια ὑμῶν καὶ οὐ μὴ ὀσφρανθῶ τῆς ὀσμῆς τῶν θυσιῶν ὑμῶν
in tantum ut urbes vestras redigam in solitudinem, et deserta faciam sanctuaria vestra, nec recipiam ultra odorem suavissimum.
ወእገብሮን ፡ ለአህጉሪክሙ ፡ መዝብረ ፡ ወእደመስስ ፡ ቅድሳቲክሙ ፡ ወኢያጼኑ ፡ መዐዛ ፡ መሥዋዕቲክሙ ።
I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation. I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings.
26:32
וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֶת־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְשָֽׁמְמ֤וּ עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֔ם הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בָּֽהּ׃
καὶ ἐξερημώσω ἐγὼ τὴν γῆν ὑμῶν καὶ θαυμάσονται ἐπ’ αὐτῇ οἱ ἐχθροὶ ὑμῶν οἱ ἐνοικοῦντες ἐν αὐτῇ
Disperdamque terram vestram, et stupebunt super ea inimici vestri, cum habitatores illius fuerint.
ወእሬስያ ፡ አነ ፡ ለምድርክሙ ፡ በድወ ፡ ወይደመሙ ፡ በእንቲአሃ ፡ ፀርክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስቴታ ።
I will bring the land into desolation, and your enemies who dwell in it will be astonished at it.
26:33
וְאֶתְכֶם֙ אֱזָרֶ֣ה בַגּוֹיִ֔ם וַהֲרִיקֹתִ֥י אַחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם חָ֑רֶב וְהָיְתָ֤ה אַרְצְכֶם֙ שְׁמָמָ֔ה וְעָרֵיכֶ֖ם יִהְי֥וּ חׇרְבָּֽה׃
καὶ διασπερῶ ὑμᾶς εἰς τὰ ἔθνη καὶ ἐξαναλώσει ὑμᾶς ἐπιπορευομένη ἡ μάχαιρα καὶ ἔσται ἡ γῆ ὑμῶν ἔρημος καὶ αἱ πόλεις ὑμῶν ἔσονται ἔρημοι
Vos autem dispergam in gentes, et evaginabo post vos gladium, eritque terra vestra deserta, et civitates vestrae dirutae.
ወእዘርወክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወአጠፍአክሙ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ሖርክሙ ፡ በመጥባሕት ፡ ወትከውን ፡ ምድርክሙ ፡ በድወ ፡ ወአህጉሪክሙ ፡ ይከውን ፡ መዝብረ ።
I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you. Your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
26:34
אָז֩ תִּרְצֶ֨ה הָאָ֜רֶץ אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ כֹּ֚ל יְמֵ֣י הׇשַּׁמָּ֔הֿ וְאַתֶּ֖ם בְּאֶ֣רֶץ אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם אָ֚ז תִּשְׁבַּ֣ת הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהִרְצָ֖ת אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶֽיהָ׃
τότε εὐδοκήσει ἡ γῆ τὰ σάββατα αὐτῆς καὶ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ἐρημώσεως αὐτῆς καὶ ὑμεῖς ἔσεσθε ἐν τῇ γῇ τῶν ἐχθρῶν ὑμῶν τότε σαββατιεῖ ἡ γῆ καὶ εὐδοκήσει τὰ σάββατα αὐτῆς
Tunc placebunt terrae sabbata sua cunctis diebus solitudinis suae : quando fueritis
ይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይኤድማ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ሰናብቲሃ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሙስናሃ ፡ ወአንትሙኒ ፡ ትሄልው ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ጸላእትክሙ ፡ ወይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ታሰነብት ፡ ምድር ፡ ወይኤድማ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ሰናብቲሃ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሙስናሃ ።
Then the land will enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.
26:35
כׇּל־יְמֵ֥י הׇשַּׁמָּ֖הֿ תִּשְׁבֹּ֑ת אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹֽא־שָׁבְתָ֛ה בְּשַׁבְּתֹתֵיכֶ֖ם בְּשִׁבְתְּכֶ֥ם עָלֶֽיהָ׃
πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ἐρημώσεως αὐτῆς σαββατιεῖ ἃ οὐκ ἐσαββάτισεν ἐν τοῖς σαββάτοις ὑμῶν ἡνίκα κατῳκεῖτε αὐτήν
in terra hostili, sabbatizabit, et requiescet in sabbatis solitudinis suae, eo quod non requieverit in sabbatis vestris quando habitabatis in ea.
ወታሰነብት ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢአሰንበተት ፡ በሰንበትክሙ ፡ አመ ፡ ሀለውክሙ ፡ ትነብሩ ፡ ውስቴታ ።
As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your Sabbaths when you lived on it.
26:36
וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים בָּכֶ֔ם וְהֵבֵ֤אתִי מֹ֙רֶךְ֙ בִּלְבָבָ֔ם בְּאַרְצֹ֖ת אֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם וְרָדַ֣ף אֹתָ֗ם ק֚וֹל עָלֶ֣ה נִדָּ֔ף וְנָס֧וּ מְנֻֽסַת־חֶ֛רֶב וְנָפְל֖וּ וְאֵ֥ין רֹדֵֽף׃
καὶ τοῖς καταλειφθεῖσιν ἐξ ὑμῶν ἐπάξω δειλίαν εἰς τὴν καρδίαν αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ γῇ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ διώξεται αὐτοὺς φωνὴ φύλλου φερομένου καὶ φεύξονται ὡς φεύγοντες ἀπὸ πολέμου καὶ πεσοῦνται οὐθενὸς διώκοντος
Et qui de vobis remanserint, dabo pavorem in cordibus eorum in regionibus hostium, terrebit eos sonitus folii volantis, et ita fugient quasi gladium : cadent, nullo persequente,
ወለእለ ፡ ተርፉኒ ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ ኣመጽእ ፡ ድንጋፄ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ልቦሙ ፡ በምድረ ፡ [ፀሮ]ሙ ፡ ወይሜምዑ ፡ እምድምፀ ፡ ቈጽል ፡ ዘይትሐወስ ፡ ወይነትዑ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘይነትዕ ፡ እምፀር ፡ ወይወድቁ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ዘይዴግኖሙ ።
“‘As for those of you who are left, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf will put them to flight; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword. They will fall when no one pursues.
26:37
וְכָשְׁל֧וּ אִישׁ־בְּאָחִ֛יו כְּמִפְּנֵי־חֶ֖רֶב וְרֹדֵ֣ף אָ֑יִן וְלֹא־תִֽהְיֶ֤ה לָכֶם֙ תְּקוּמָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י אֹֽיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ ὑπερόψεται ὁ ἀδελφὸς τὸν ἀδελφὸν ὡσεὶ ἐν πολέμῳ οὐθενὸς κατατρέχοντος καὶ οὐ δυνήσεσθε ἀντιστῆναι τοῖς ἐχθροῖς ὑμῶν
et corruent singuli super fratres suos, quasi bella fugientes, nemo vestrum inimicis audebit resistere.
ወይትዔወሮ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ለእኁሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ቀትል ፡ እንዘ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ዘይዴግኖሙ ፡ ወኢትክሉ ፡ ተቃውሞቶሙ ፡ ለፀርክሙ ።
They will stumble over one another, as it were before the sword, when no one pursues. You will have no power to stand before your enemies.
26:38
וַאֲבַדְתֶּ֖ם בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם וְאָכְלָ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם אֶ֖רֶץ אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
καὶ ἀπολεῖσθε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ κατέδεται ὑμᾶς ἡ γῆ τῶν ἐχθρῶν ὑμῶν
Peribitis inter gentes, et hostilis vos terra consumet.
ወትጠፍኡ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወትውሕጠክሙ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ፀርክሙ ።
You will perish among the nations. The land of your enemies will eat you up.
26:39
וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים בָּכֶ֗ם יִמַּ֙קּוּ֙ בַּֽעֲוֺנָ֔ם בְּאַרְצֹ֖ת אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם וְאַ֛ף בַּעֲוֺנֹ֥ת אֲבֹתָ֖ם אִתָּ֥ם יִמָּֽקּוּ׃
καὶ οἱ καταλειφθέντες ἀφ’ ὑμῶν καταφθαρήσονται διὰ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ὑμῶν ἐν τῇ γῇ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν τακήσονται
Quod si et de iis aliqui remanserint, tabescent in iniquitatibus suis, in terra inimicorum suorum, et propter peccata patrum suorum et sua affligentur :
ወእለ ፡ ተርፉኒ ፡ እምኔክሙ ፡ ይደመሰሱ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኀጣይኢሆሙ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ኀጣይአ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ይትመሰው ፡ በምድረ ፡ ፀሮሙ ።
Those of you who are left will pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers they shall pine away with them.
26:40
וְהִתְוַדּ֤וּ אֶת־עֲוֺנָם֙ וְאֶת־עֲוֺ֣ן אֲבֹתָ֔ם בְּמַעֲלָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָֽעֲלוּ־בִ֑י וְאַ֕ף אֲשֶׁר־הָֽלְכ֥וּ עִמִּ֖י בְּקֶֽרִי׃
καὶ ἐξαγορεύσουσιν τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς ἁμαρτίας τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν ὅτι παρέβησαν καὶ ὑπερεῖδόν με καὶ ὅτι ἐπορεύθησαν ἐναντίον μου πλάγιοι
donec confiteantur iniquitates suas, et majorum suorum, quibus praevaricati sunt in me, et ambulaverunt ex adverso mihi.
ወያየድዑ ፡ ኀጣይኦሙ ፡ ወኀጣይአ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ክሕዱኒ ፡ ወተዐወሩኒ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ሖሩ ፡ ግድመ ፡ በቅድሜየ ።
“‘If they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me; and also that because they walked contrary to me,
26:41
אַף־אֲנִ֗י אֵלֵ֤ךְ עִמָּם֙ בְּקֶ֔רִי וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י אֹתָ֔ם בְּאֶ֖רֶץ אֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם אוֹ־אָ֣ז יִכָּנַ֗ע לְבָבָם֙ הֶֽעָרֵ֔ל וְאָ֖ז יִרְצ֥וּ אֶת־עֲוֺנָֽם׃
καὶ ἐγὼ ἐπορεύθην μετ’ αὐτῶν ἐν θυμῷ πλαγίῳ καὶ ἀπολῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ γῇ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν τότε ἐντραπήσεται ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ἡ ἀπερίτμητος καὶ τότε εὐδοκήσουσιν τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν
Ambulabo igitur et ego contra eos, et inducam illos in terram hostilem, donec erubescat incircumcisa mens eorum : tunc orabunt pro impietatibus suis.
ወአነኒ ፡ ሖርኩ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፡ ግድመ ፡ በመዐት ፡ ወአጥፍኦሙ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ፀሮሙ ፡ ይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይትኀፈር ፡ ልቦሙ ፡ ዘኢኮነ ፡ ግዙረ ፡ ወይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይገንዩ ፡ ለኀጣይኢሆሙ ።
I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity,
26:42
וְזָכַרְתִּ֖י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֣י יַעֲק֑וֹב וְאַף֩ אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֨י יִצְחָ֜ק וְאַ֨ף אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֧י אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶזְכֹּ֖ר וְהָאָ֥רֶץ אֶזְכֹּֽר׃
καὶ μνησθήσομαι τῆς διαθήκης Ιακωβ καὶ τῆς διαθήκης Ισαακ καὶ τῆς διαθήκης Αβρααμ μνησθήσομαι καὶ τῆς γῆς μνησθήσομαι
Et recordabor foederis mei, quod pepigi cum Jacob, et Isaac, et Abraham. Terrae quoque memor ero :
ወእዜከር ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ዘምስለ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወኪዳንየ ፡ ዘምስለ ፡ ይስሐቅ ፡ ወኪዳንየ ፡ ዘምስለ ፡ አብርሃም ፡ እዜከር ፡ ወለምድርኒ ፡ እዜከራ ።
then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.
26:43
וְהָאָ֩רֶץ֩ תֵּעָזֵ֨ב מֵהֶ֜ם וְתִ֣רֶץ אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ בׇּהְשַׁמָּהֿ֙ מֵהֶ֔ם וְהֵ֖ם יִרְצ֣וּ אֶת־עֲוֺנָ֑ם יַ֣עַן וּבְיַ֔עַן בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֣י מָאָ֔סוּ וְאֶת־חֻקֹּתַ֖י גָּעֲלָ֥ה נַפְשָֽׁם׃
καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐγκαταλειφθήσεται ὑπ’ αὐτῶν τότε προσδέξεται ἡ γῆ τὰ σάββατα αὐτῆς ἐν τῷ ἐρημωθῆναι αὐτὴν δῑ αὐτούς καὶ αὐτοὶ προσδέξονται τὰς αὐτῶν ἀνομίας ἀνθ’ ὧν τὰ κρίματά μου ὑπερεῖδον καὶ τοῖς προστάγμασίν μου προσώχθισαν τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτῶν
quae cum relicta fuerit ab eis, complacebit sibi in sabbatis suis, patiens solitudinem propter illos. Ipsi vero rogabunt pro peccatis suis, eo quod abjecerint judicia mea, et leges meas despexerint.
ወትትኀደግ ፡ ምድር ፡ እምኔሆሙ ፡ ይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ትትወከፍ ፡ ምድር ፡ ሰንበቲሃ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ተማሰነት ፡ በእንቲአሆሙ ፡ ወእሙንቱኒ ፡ ይትወከፉ ፡ ኀጣይኢሆሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ተዐወሩ ፡ ኵነኔየ ፡ ወተቈጥዐት ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ትእዛዝየ ።
The land also will be left by them, and will enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; and they will accept the punishment of their iniquity because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.
26:44
וְאַף־גַּם־זֹ֠את בִּֽהְיוֹתָ֞ם בְּאֶ֣רֶץ אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֗ם לֹֽא־מְאַסְתִּ֤ים וְלֹֽא־גְעַלְתִּים֙ לְכַלֹּתָ֔ם לְהָפֵ֥ר בְּרִיתִ֖י אִתָּ֑ם כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃
καὶ οὐδ’ ὧς ὄντων αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ γῇ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν οὐχ ὑπερεῖδον αὐτοὺς οὐδὲ προσώχθισα αὐτοῖς ὥστε ἐξαναλῶσαι αὐτοὺς τοῦ διασκεδάσαι τὴν διαθήκην μου τὴν πρὸς αὐτούς ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν
Et tamen etiam cum essent in terra hostili, non penitus abjeci eos, neque sic despexi ut consumerentur, et irritum facerent pactum meum cum eis. Ego enim sum Dominus Deus eorum,
ወአኮ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ሀለው ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ጸላእቶሙ ፡ ዘተዐወርክዎሙ ፡ ወኢተቈጣዕክዎሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አጥፍኦሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኀዶጉ ፡ ኪዳንየ ፡ ዘኀቤሆሙ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኮሙ ።
Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly and to break my covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God.
26:45
וְזָכַרְתִּ֥י לָהֶ֖ם בְּרִ֣ית רִאשֹׁנִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר הוֹצֵֽאתִי־אֹתָם֩ מֵאֶ֨רֶץ מִצְרַ֜יִם לְעֵינֵ֣י הַגּוֹיִ֗ם לִהְי֥וֹת לָהֶ֛ם לֵאלֹהִ֖ים אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃
καὶ μνησθήσομαι αὐτῶν τῆς διαθήκης τῆς προτέρας ὅτε ἐξήγαγον αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας ἔναντι τῶν ἐθνῶν τοῦ εἶναι αὐτῶν θεός ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
et recordabor foederis mei pristini, quando eduxi eos de terra Aegypti in conspectu gentium, ut essem Deus eorum. Ego Dominus. Haec sunt judicia atque praecepta et leges quas dedit Dominus inter se et filios Israël in monte Sinai per manum Moysi.
ተዘኪርየ ፡ ኪዳኖሙ ፡ ዘቀዳሚ ፡ ዘአመ ፡ አውፃእክዎሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ እምቤተ ፡ ቅኔት ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይሬኢ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ከመ ፡ እኩኖሙ ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
But I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am Yahweh.’”
26:46
אֵ֠לֶּה הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֮ וְהַתּוֹרֹת֒ אֲשֶׁר֙ נָתַ֣ן יְהֹוָ֔ה בֵּינ֕וֹ וּבֵ֖ין בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּהַ֥ר סִינַ֖י בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ {פ}
ταῦτα τὰ κρίματα καὶ τὰ προστάγματα καὶ ὁ νόμος ὃν ἔδωκεν κύριος ἀνὰ μέσον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σινα ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ
—
ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ትእዛዝ ፡ ወኵነኔ ፡ ወሕግ ፡ ዘወሀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ማእከሎ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በደብረ ፡ ሲና ፡ ውስተ ፡ እደ ፡ ሙሴ ።
These are the statutes, ordinances, and laws, which Yahweh made between him and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai by Moses.
