18:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ὥρᾳ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ τῷ Ἰησοῦ λέγοντες · τίς ἄρα μείζων ἐστὶν ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν ;
In illa hora accesserunt discipuli ad Jesum , dicentes : Quis , putas , major est in regno caelorum ?
ወበይእቲ ሰዓት ቀርቡ ኀቤሁ አርዳኢሁ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ እንዘ ይብሉ መኑ እንጋ የዐቢ በመንግሥተ ሰማያት ።
In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
18:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος παιδίον ἔστησεν αὐτὸ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν
Et advocans Jesus parvulum , statuit eum in medio eorum ,
ወጸውዐ ሕፃነ ወአቀሞ ማእከሎሙ ።
Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them
18:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ εἶπεν · ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν , ἐὰν μὴ στραφῆτε καὶ γένησθε ὡς τὰ παιδία , οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν .
et dixit : Amen dico vobis , nisi conversi fueritis , et efficiamini sicut parvuli , non intrabitis in regnum caelorum .
ወይቤ አማን እብለክሙ እመ ኢተመየጥክሙ ወኢኮንክሙ ከመ ዝንቱ ሕፃን ኢትበውኡ ውስተ መንግሥተ ሰማያት ።
and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
18:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὅστις οὖν ταπεινώσει ἑαυτὸν ὡς τὸ παιδίον τοῦτο , οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ μείζων ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν .
Quicumque ergo humiliaverit se sicut parvulus iste , hic est major in regno caelorum .
ወዘአትሐተ ርእሶ ከመ ዝንቱ ሕፃን ዝ ውእቱ ዘየዐቢ በመንግሥተ ሰማያት ።
Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
18:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ὃς ἐὰν δέξηται ἓν παιδίον τοιοῦτο ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου , ἐμὲ δέχεται .
Et qui susceperit unum parvulum talem in nomine meo , me suscipit :
ወዘሂ ተወክፈ አሐደ ሕፃነ ዘከመዝ በስምየ ኪያየ ተወክፈ ።
Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,
18:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὃς δ’ ἂν σκανδαλίσῃ ἕνα τῶν μικρῶν τούτων τῶν πιστευόντων εἰς ἐμέ , συμφέρει αὐτῷ ἵνα κρεμασθῇ μύλος ὀνικὸς περὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτοῦ καὶ καταποντισθῇ ἐν τῷ πελάγει τῆς θαλάσσης .
qui autem scandalizaverit unum de pusillis istis , qui in me credunt , expedit ei ut suspendatur mola asinaria in collo ejus , et demergatur in profundum maris .
ወለዘሂ አስሐቶ ለአሐዱ እምእሉ ንኡሳን እለ የአምኑ ብየ ይኄይሶ ከመ ይእስሩ በክሣዱ ማኅረጸ አድግ ወያስጥምዎ ውስተ ልጐተ ባሕር ።
but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea.
18:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ Οὐαὶ τῷ κόσμῳ ἀπὸ τῶν σκανδάλων · ἀνάγκη γὰρ ἐστιν ἐλθεῖν τὰ σκάνδαλα , πλὴν οὐαὶ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ δι’ οὗ τὸ σκάνδαλον ἔρχεται .
Vae mundo a scandalis ! Necesse est enim ut veniant scandala : verumtamen vae homini illi , per quem scandalum venit .
አሌ ሎቱ ለዓለም እመንሱት ዘይመጽእ እስመ ግብር ይመጽእ መንሱት ወባሕቱ አሌ ሎ ለውእቱ ብእሲ ዘያመጽኣ ለመንሱት ።
“Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!
18:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ εἰ δὲ ἡ χείρ σου ἢ ὁ πούς σου σκανδαλίζει σε , ἔκκοψον αὐτὸν καὶ βάλε ἀπὸ σοῦ · καλόν σοί ἐστιν εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὴν ζωὴν κυλλὸν ἢ χωλόν , ἢ δύο χεῖρας ἢ δύο πόδας ἔχοντα βληθῆναι εἰς τὸ πῦρ τὸ αἰώνιον .
Si autem manus tua , vel pes tuus scandalizat te , abscide eum , et projice abs te : bonum tibi est ad vitam ingredi debilem , vel claudum , quam duas manus vel duos pedes habentem mitti in ignem aeternum .
ወእመኒ እዴከ አው እግርከ ታስሕተከ ምትራ ወግድፋ እምላዕሌከ እስመ ይኄይሰከ ትባእ ውስተ ሕይወት ሐንካሰከ ወፅዉሰከ እምእንዘ ብከ ክልኤ እድ ወክልኤ እግር ትትወደይ ውስተ እሳት ዘለዓለም ።
If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.
18:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ εἰ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου σκανδαλίζει σε , ἔξελε αὐτὸν καὶ βάλε ἀπὸ σοῦ · καλόν σοί ἐστιν μονόφθαλμον εἰς τὴν ζωὴν εἰσελθεῖν , ἢ δύο ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχοντα βληθῆναι εἰς τὴν γέενναν τοῦ πυρός .
Et si oculus tuus scandalizat te , erue eum , et projice abs te : bonum tibi est cum uno oculo in vitam intrare , quam duos oculos habentem mitti in gehennam ignis .
ወእመኒ ዐይንከ ታስሕተከ ምልሓ ወግድፋ እምላዕሌከ እስመ ይኄይሰከ ነቋረከ ትባእ ውስተ ሕይወት እምእንዘ ክልኤ ዐይን ብከ ትትወደይ ውስተ እሳተ ገሃነም ።
If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire.
18:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ὁρᾶτε μὴ καταφρονήσητε ἑνὸς τῶν μικρῶν τούτων · λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς διὰ παντὸς βλέπουσιν τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς .
Videte ne contemnatis unum ex his pusillis : dico enim vobis , quia angeli eorum in caelis semper vident faciem Patris mei , qui in caelis est .
ዑቁ ኢታስተሐቅርዎ ለአሐዱ እምእሉ ንኡሳን እብለክሙ ከመ መላእክቲሆሙ በሰማያት ወትረ ይሬእዩ ገጾ ለአቡየ ዘበሰማያት ።
See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
18:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ — Venit enim Filius hominis salvare quod perierat .
እስመ መጽአ ወልደ ዕጓለ እመሕያው ከመ ይኅሥሥ ወያድኅን ዘተኀጕለ ።
For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.
18:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τί ὑμῖν δοκεῖ ; ἐὰν γένηταί τινι ἀνθρώπῳ ἑκατὸν πρόβατα καὶ πλανηθῇ ἓν ἐξ αὐτῶν , οὐχὶ ἀφεὶς τὰ ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη πορευθεὶς ζητεῖ τὸ πλανώμενον ;
Quid vobis videtur ? si fuerint alicui centum oves , et erravit una ex eis : nonne relinquit nonaginta novem in montibus , et vadit quaerere eam quae erravit ?
ምንተ ትብሉ እመቦ ብእሲ ዘቦቱ ምእት አባግዕ ወእመ ተገድፈ አሐዱ እምውስቴቶሙ አኮሁ የኀድግ ተስዓ ወተስዐተ ውስተ ገዳም ወየሐውር ይኅሥሥ ዘተገድፎ ።
“What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
18:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἐὰν γένηται εὑρεῖν αὐτό , ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι χαίρει ἐπ’ αὐτῷ μᾶλλον ἢ ἐπὶ τοῖς ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα τοῖς μὴ πεπλανημένοις .
Et si contigerit ut inveniat eam : amen dico vobis , quia gaudet super eam magis quam super nonaginta novem , quae non erraverunt .
ወእምከመ ረከቦ አማን እብለክሙ ከመ ይትፌሣሕ በእንቲኣሁ ፈድፋደ እምተስዓ ወተስዐቱ እለ ኢተገድፉ ።
If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
18:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὕτως οὐκ ἔστιν θέλημα ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ πατρὸς ὑμῶν τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς ἵνα ἀπόληται ἓν τῶν μικρῶν τούτων .
Sic non est voluntas ante Patrem vestrum , qui in caelis est , ut pereat unus de pusillis istis .
ከማሁኬ ኢይፈቅድ አቡየኒ ዘበሰማያት ከመ ይትኀጐል አሐዱ እምእሉ ንኡሳን ።
Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
18:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἐὰν δὲ ἁμαρτήσῃ ὁ ἀδελφός σου , ὕπαγε ἔλεγξον αὐτὸν μεταξὺ σοῦ καὶ αὐτοῦ μόνου · ἐάν σου ἀκούσῃ , ἐκέρδησας τὸν ἀδελφόν σου .
Si autem peccaverit in te frater tuus , vade , et corripe eum inter te , et ipsum solum : si te audierit , lucratus eris fratrem tuum .
ወእመኒ አበሰ ለከ እኁከ ሑር ወገሥጾ በባሕቲትከ በባሕቲቱ አንተ ወውእቱ ወእመ ሰምዐከ ረባኅኮ ለእኁከ ።
“If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
18:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀκούσῃ , παράλαβε μετὰ σεαυτοῦ ἔτι ἕνα ἢ δύο , ἵνα ἐπὶ στόματος δύο μαρτύρων ἢ τριῶν σταθῇ πᾶν ῥῆμα .
Si autem te non audierit , adhibe tecum adhuc unum , vel duos , ut in ore duorum , vel trium testium stet omne verbum .
ወእመሰ ኢሰምዐከ ንሣእ ምስሌከ በዳግም አሐደ አው ክልኤተ እስመ በአፈ ክልኤቱ ወሠለስቱ ሰማዕት ይቀውም ኵሉ ነገር ።
But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
18:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐὰν δὲ παρακούσῃ αὐτῶν , εἰπὸν τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ · ἐὰν δὲ καὶ τῆς ἐκκλησίας παρακούσῃ , ἔστω σοι ὥσπερ ὁ ἐθνικὸς καὶ ὁ τελώνης .
Quod si non audierit eos : dic ecclesiae . Si autem ecclesiam non audierit , sit tibi sicut ethnicus et publicanus .
ወእመሰ ኢሰምዖሙ ሎሙሂ ንግራ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ወእመሰ ለቤተ ክርስቲያንሂ ኢሰምዓ ይኩን ከመ አረማዊ ወመጸብሓዊ ።
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
18:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν , ὅσα ἐὰν δήσητε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται δεδεμένα ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ὅσα ἐὰν λύσητε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἔσται λελυμένα ἐν οὐρανῷ .
Amen dico vobis , quaecumque alligaveritis super terram , erunt ligata et in caelo : et quaecumque solveritis super terram , erunt soluta et in caelo .
አማን እብለክሙ ዘአሰርክሙ በምድር ይከውን እሱረ በሰማያት ወዘፈታሕክሙ በምድር ይከውን ፍቱሐ በሰማያት ።
Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.
18:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ Πάλιν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν δύο συμφωνήσουσιν ἐξ ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς περὶ παντὸς πράγματος οὗ ἐὰν αἰτήσωνται , γενήσεται αὐτοῖς παρὰ τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς .
Iterum dico vobis , quia si duo ex vobis consenserint super terram , de omni re quamcumque petierint , fiet illis a Patre meo , qui in caelis est .
ወዓዲ እብለክሙ ለእመ ኀብሩ ክልኤቱ አው ሠለስቱ እምኔክሙ በውስተ ምድር በእንተ ኵሉ ግብር ዘሰአሉ ይትገበር ሎሙ በኀበ አቡየ ዘበሰማያት ።
Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
18:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὗ γάρ εἰσιν δύο ἢ τρεῖς συνηγμένοι εἰς τὸ ἐμὸν ὄνομα , ἐκεῖ εἰμι ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν .
Ubi enim sunt duo vel tres congregati in nomine meo , ibi sum in medio eorum .
እስመ ኀበ ሀለዉ ክልኤቱ ወሠለስቱ ጉቡኣን በስምየ ህየ እሄሉ አነ ማእከሎሙ ።
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”
18:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τότε προσελθὼν ὁ Πέτρος εἶπεν αὐτῷ · κύριε , ποσάκις ἁμαρτήσει εἰς ἐμὲ ὁ ἀδελφός μου καὶ ἀφήσω αὐτῷ ; ἕως ἑπτάκις ;
Tunc accedens Petrus ad eum , dixit : Domine , quoties peccabit in me frater meus , et dimittam ei ? usque septies ?
ወእምዝ ቀርበ ኀቤሁ ጴጥሮስ ወይቤሎ እግዚኦ ስፍነ እመ አበሰ ሊተ እኁየ እኅድግ ሎቱ እስከ ስብዕኑ ።
Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”
18:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς · οὐ λέγω σοι ἕως ἑπτάκις , ἀλλ’ ἕως ἑβδομηκοντάκις ἑπτά .
Dicit illi Jesus : Non dico tibi usque septies : sed usque septuagies septies .
ወይቤሎ እግዚእ ኢየሱስ ኢይብለከ እስከ ስብዕ አላ እስከ ሰብዓ በበስብዕ ።
Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
18:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ διὰ τοῦτο ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ βασιλεῖ , ὃς ἠθέλησεν συνᾶραι λόγον μετὰ τῶν δούλων αὐτοῦ .
Ideo assimilatum est regnum caelorum homini regi , qui voluit rationem ponere cum servis suis .
በእንተዝ ትመስል መንግሥተ ሰማያት ብእሴ ንጉሠ ዘፈቀደ ይትሐሰቦሙ ለአግብርቲሁ ።
Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
18:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἀρξαμένου δὲ αὐτοῦ συναίρειν προσηνέχθη εἷς αὐτῷ ὀφειλέτης μυρίων ταλάντων .
Et cum coepisset rationem ponere , oblatus est ei unus , qui debebat ei decem millia talenta .
ወሶበ አኀዘ ይትሐሰቦሙ አምጽኡ ሎቱ አሐደ ዘይፈድዮ እልፈ መካልየ ።
When he had begun to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
18:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ μὴ ἔχοντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἀποδοῦναι , ἐκέλευσεν αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος πραθῆναι καὶ τὴν γυναῖκα καὶ τὰ τέκνα καὶ πάντα ὅσα εἶχεν , καὶ ἀποδοθῆναι .
Cum autem non haberet unde redderet , jussit eum dominus ejus venundari , et uxorem ejus , et filios , et omnia quae habebat , et reddi .
ወኀጢኦ ዘይፈድዮ አዘዘ እግዚኡ ይሢጥዎ ምስለ ብእሲቱ ወምስለ ውሉዱ ወኵሎ ዘቦ እስከ ይፈዲ ።
But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
18:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ πεσὼν οὖν ὁ δοῦλος ἐκεῖνος προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων · μακροθύμησον ἐπ’ ἐμοί , καὶ πάντα ἀποδώσω σοι .
Procidens autem servus ille , orabat eum , dicens : Patientiam habe in me , et omnia reddam tibi .
ወወድቀ እንከ ውእቱ ገብር ታሕተ እገሪሁ ወሰገደ ሎቱ ወአስተብቍዖ እንዘ ይብል እግዚኦ ተዐገሠኒ ወኵሎ እፈድየከ ።
The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’
18:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ σπλαγχνισθεὶς δὲ ὁ κύριος τοῦ δούλου ἐκείνου ἀπέλυσεν αὐτόν , καὶ τὸ δάνειον ἀφῆκεν αὐτῷ .
Misertus autem dominus servi illius , dimisit eum , et debitum dimisit ei .
ወምሕሮ እግዚኡ ለውእቱ ገብር ወፈትሖ ወዕዳሁኒ ኀደገ ሎቱ ።
The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt.
18:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐξελθὼν δὲ ὁ δοῦλος ἐκεῖνος εὗρεν ἕνα τῶν συνδούλων αὐτοῦ ὃς ὤφειλεν αὐτῷ ἑκατὸν δηνάρια , καὶ κρατήσας αὐτὸν ἔπνιγεν λέγων · ἀπόδος εἴ τι ὀφείλεις .
Egressus autem servus ille invenit unum de conservis suis , qui debebat ei centum denarios : et tenens suffocavit eum , dicens : Redde quod debes .
ወወፂኦ ውእቱ ገብር ረከበ አሐደ ገብረ እምነ አብያጺሁ ዘይፈድዮ ምእተ ዲናረ ወአኀዞ ወኀነቆ እንዘ ይብል ሀበኒ ዘትፈድየኒ ።
“But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him one hundred denarii, and he grabbed him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’
18:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ πεσὼν οὖν ὁ σύνδουλος αὐτοῦ παρεκάλει αὐτὸν λέγων , μακροθύμησον ἐπ’ ἐμοί , καὶ ἀποδώσω σοι .
Et procidens conservus ejus , rogabat eum , dicens : Patientiam habe in me , et omnia reddam tibi .
ወወድቀ ውእቱ ገብር ታሕተ እገሪሁ ወአስተብቍዖ እንዘ ይብል ተዐገሠኒ ወኵሎ እፈድየከ ።
“So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’
18:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἤθελεν , ἀλλὰ ἀπελθὼν ἔβαλεν αὐτὸν εἰς φυλακὴν ἕως ἀποδῷ τὸ ὀφειλόμενον .
Ille autem noluit : sed abiit , et misit eum in carcerem donec redderet debitum .
ወአበዮ ወሖረ ወሞቅሖ እስከ ይፈድዮ ።
He would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay back that which was due.
18:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἰδόντες οὖν οἱ σύνδουλοι αὐτοῦ τὰ γενόμενα ἐλυπήθησαν σφόδρα , καὶ ἐλθόντες διεσάφησαν τῷ κυρίῳ ἑαυτῶν πάντα τὰ γενόμενα .
Videntes autem conservi ejus quae fiebant , contristati sunt valde : et venerunt , et narraverunt domino suo omnia quae facta fuerant .
ወርእዮሙ አብያጺሁ ዘገብረ ተከዙ ጥቀ ወሐዊሮሙ ነገርዎ ለእግዚኦሙ ኵሎ ዘገብረ ።
So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told their lord all that was done.
18:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ τότε προσκαλεσάμενος αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ λέγει αὐτῷ · δοῦλε πονηρέ , πᾶσαν τὴν ὀφειλὴν ἐκείνην ἀφῆκά σοι , ἐπεὶ παρεκάλεσάς με ·
Tunc vocavit illum dominus suus : et ait illi : Serve nequam , omne debitum dimisi tibi quoniam rogasti me :
ወእምዝ ጸውዖ እግዚኡ ወይቤሎ ኦ ገብር እኩይ ኵሎ ዕዳከ ኀደጉ ለከ እስመ አስተብቋዕከኒ ።
Then his lord called him in and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
18:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐκ ἔδει καὶ σὲ ἐλεῆσαι τὸν σύνδουλόν σου , ὡς κἀγὼ σὲ ἠλέησα ;
nonne ergo oportuit et te misereri conservi tui , sicut et ego tui misertus sum ?
አኮሁ መፍትው አንተሂ ትምሀር ቢጸከ በከመ አነ መሐርኩከ ።
Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’
18:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ὀργισθεὶς ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν τοῖς βασανισταῖς ἕως οὗ ἀποδῷ πᾶν τὸ ὀφειλόμενον αὐτῷ .
Et iratus dominus ejus tradidit eum tortoribus , quoadusque redderet universum debitum .
ወተምዐ እግዚኡ ወመጠዎ ለእለ ይሣቅይዎ እስከ አመ ይሤልጥ ኵሎ ዘይፈድዮ ።
His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him.
18:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὕτως καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ οὐράνιος ποιήσει ὑμῖν , ἐὰν μὴ ἀφῆτε ἕκαστος τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῶν καρδιῶν ὑμῶν .
Sic et Pater meus caelestis faciet vobis , si non remiseritis unusquisque fratri suo de cordibus vestris .
ከማሁኬ አቡየኒ ሰማያዊ ይገብር ብክሙ እመ ኢኀደግሙ አበሳሆሙ ለቢጽክሙ እምኵሉ ልብክሙ ።
So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”
