19:1
וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron, dicens :
ወነበቦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወለአሮን ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
19:2
זֹ֚את חֻקַּ֣ת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר דַּבֵּ֣ר׀ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְיִקְח֣וּ אֵלֶ֩יךָ֩ פָרָ֨ה אֲדֻמָּ֜ה תְּמִימָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֵֽין־בָּהּ֙ מ֔וּם אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־עָלָ֥ה עָלֶ֖יהָ עֹֽל׃
αὕτη ἡ διαστολὴ τοῦ νόμου ὅσα συνέταξεν κύριος λέγων λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ λαβέτωσαν πρὸς σὲ δάμαλιν πυρρὰν ἄμωμον ἥτις οὐκ ἔχει ἐν αὐτῇ μῶμον καὶ ᾗ οὐκ ἐπεβλήθη ἐπ’ αὐτὴν ζυγός
Ista est religio victimae, quam constituit Dominus. Praecipe filiis Israël, ut adducant ad te vaccam rufam aetatis integrae, in qua nulla sit macula, nec portaverit jugum :
ዝንቱ ፡ ትእዛዙ ፡ ለ(ኵሉ ፡) ሕግ ፡ ዘአዘዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ንግሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ያ[ም] ጽኡ ፡ ለከ ፡ አሐተ ፡ እጐልተ ፡ ቀያሐ ፡ ንጽሕተ ፡ እንተ ፡ አልባቲ ፡ ላዕሌሃ ፡ ነውረ ፡ ወእንተ ፡ ኢተወድየ ፡ ላዕሌሃ ፡ አርዑት ።
“This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded. Tell the children of Israel to bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no defect, and which was never yoked.
19:3
וּנְתַתֶּ֣ם אֹתָ֔הּ אֶל־אֶלְעָזָ֖ר הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְהוֹצִ֤יא אֹתָהּ֙ אֶל־מִח֣וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה וְשָׁחַ֥ט אֹתָ֖הּ לְפָנָֽיו׃
καὶ δώσεις αὐτὴν πρὸς Ελεαζαρ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ ἐξάξουσιν αὐτὴν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς εἰς τόπον καθαρὸν καὶ σφάξουσιν αὐτὴν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ
tradetisque eam Eleazaro sacerdoti, qui eductam extra castra, immolabit in conspectu omnium :
ወትሁቦ ፡ ለእልዓዛር ፡ ካህን ፡ ወይወስድዋ ፡ አፍአ ፡ እምትዕይንት ፡ ውስተ ፡ መካን ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ወይጠብሕዋ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ።
You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face.
19:4
וְלָקַ֞ח אֶלְעָזָ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן מִדָּמָ֖הּ בְּאֶצְבָּע֑וֹ וְהִזָּ֞ה אֶל־נֹ֨כַח פְּנֵ֧י אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵ֛ד מִדָּמָ֖הּ שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִֽים׃
καὶ λήμψεται Ελεαζαρ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῆς καὶ ῥανεῖ ἀπέναντι τοῦ προσώπου τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῆς ἑπτάκις
et tingens digitum in sanguine ejus, asperget contra fores tabernaculi septem vicibus,
ወይነሥእ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ደማ ፡ ወይነዝኅ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ገጻ ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ መርጡል ፡ እምነ ፡ ደማ ፡ ስብዕ ።
Eleazar the priest shall take some of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.
19:5
וְשָׂרַ֥ף אֶת־הַפָּרָ֖ה לְעֵינָ֑יו אֶת־עֹרָ֤הּ וְאֶת־בְּשָׂרָהּ֙ וְאֶת־דָּמָ֔הּ עַל־פִּרְשָׁ֖הּ יִשְׂרֹֽף׃
καὶ κατακαύσουσιν αὐτὴν ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ δέρμα καὶ τὰ κρέα αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ αἷμα αὐτῆς σὺν τῇ κόπρῳ αὐτῆς κατακαυθήσεται
comburetque eam cunctis videntibus, tam pelle et carnibus ejus quam sanguine et fimo flammae traditis.
ወያውዕይዋ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ ወማእሳኒ ፡ ወሥጋሃኒ ፡ ወደማሂ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ካዕሴሃ ፡ ወያውዕይዎ ።
One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her meat, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn.
19:6
וְלָקַ֣ח הַכֹּהֵ֗ן עֵ֥ץ אֶ֛רֶז וְאֵז֖וֹב וּשְׁנִ֣י תוֹלָ֑עַת וְהִשְׁלִ֕יךְ אֶל־תּ֖וֹךְ שְׂרֵפַ֥ת הַפָּרָֽה׃
καὶ λήμψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ξύλον κέδρινον καὶ ὕσσωπον καὶ κόκκινον καὶ ἐμβαλοῦσιν εἰς μέσον τοῦ κατακαύματος τῆς δαμάλεως
Lignum quoque cedrinum, et hyssopum, coccumque bis tinctum sacerdos mittet in flammam, quae vaccam vorat.
ወይነሥእ ፡ ካህን ፡ ዕፀ ፡ አርዘ ፡ ወቈጽለ ፡ ህሦጱ ፡ ወለየ ፡ ወይወድይዎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ እሳታ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ እጐልት ።
The priest shall take cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the middle of the burning of the heifer.
19:7
וְכִבֶּ֨ס בְּגָדָ֜יו הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְרָחַ֤ץ בְּשָׂרוֹ֙ בַּמַּ֔יִם וְאַחַ֖ר יָבֹ֣א אֶל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וְטָמֵ֥א הַכֹּהֵ֖ן עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃
καὶ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ὕδατι καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ὁ ἱερεὺς ἕως ἑσπέρας
Et tunc demum, lotis vestibus et corpore suo, ingredietur in castra, commaculatusque erit usque ad vesperum.
ወየኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ካህን ፡ ወይትኀፀብ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ በማይ ፡ ወእምድኅረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ካህን ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.
19:8
וְהַשֹּׂרֵ֣ף אֹתָ֔הּ יְכַבֵּ֤ס בְּגָדָיו֙ בַּמַּ֔יִם וְרָחַ֥ץ בְּשָׂר֖וֹ בַּמָּ֑יִם וְטָמֵ֖א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃
καὶ ὁ κατακαίων αὐτὴν πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας
Sed et ille qui combusserit eam, lavabit vestimenta sua et corpus, et immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
ወዘአውዐያሂ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወይትኀፀብ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
19:9
וְאָסַ֣ף׀ אִ֣ישׁ טָה֗וֹר אֵ֚ת אֵ֣פֶר הַפָּרָ֔ה וְהִנִּ֛יחַ מִח֥וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה בְּמָק֣וֹם טָה֑וֹר וְ֠הָיְתָ֠ה לַעֲדַ֨ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל לְמִשְׁמֶ֛רֶת לְמֵ֥י נִדָּ֖ה חַטָּ֥את הִֽוא׃
καὶ συνάξει ἄνθρωπος καθαρὸς τὴν σποδὸν τῆς δαμάλεως καὶ ἀποθήσει ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς εἰς τόπον καθαρόν καὶ ἔσται τῇ συναγωγῇ υἱῶν Ισραηλ εἰς διατήρησιν ὕδωρ ῥαντισμοῦ ἅγνισμά ἐστιν
Colliget autem vir mundus cineres vaccae, et effundet eos extra castra in loco purissimo, ut sint multitudini filiorum Israël in custodiam, et in aquam aspersionis : quia pro peccato vacca combusta est.
ወያስተጋብኦ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ለሐመዳ ፡ ወይክዕዎ ፡ አፍአ ፡ እምትዕይንት ፡ ውስተ ፡ መካን ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ወይከውን ፡ ለተዐቅቦ ፡ ለትዕይንቶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ለማየ ፡ መንዝኅ ፡ የዐቅብዎ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ያነጽሑ ።
“A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for use in water for cleansing impurity. It is a sin offering.
19:10
וְ֠כִבֶּ֠ס הָאֹסֵ֨ף אֶת־אֵ֤פֶר הַפָּרָה֙ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וְטָמֵ֖א עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב וְֽהָיְתָ֞ה לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְלַגֵּ֛ר הַגָּ֥ר בְּתוֹכָ֖ם לְחֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָֽם׃
καὶ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια ὁ συνάγων τὴν σποδιὰν τῆς δαμάλεως καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας καὶ ἔσται τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ τοῖς προσκειμένοις προσηλύτοις νόμιμον αἰώνιον
Cumque laverit qui vaccae portaverat cineres vestimenta sua, immundus erit usque ad vesperum. Habebunt hoc filii Israël, et advenae qui habitant inter eos, sanctum jure perpetuo.
ወዝክቱ ፡ ዘያስተጋብእ ፡ ሐመዳ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ እጐልት ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ወይኩኖሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወለግዩራን ፡ ለእለ ፡ ሀለው ፡ ውስቴትክሙ ፡ ማእከሌክሙ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ዘለዓለም ።
He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. It shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.
19:11
הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בְּמֵ֖ת לְכׇל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ אָדָ֑ם וְטָמֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃
ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ τεθνηκότος πάσης ψυχῆς ἀνθρώπου ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας
Qui tetigerit cadaver hominis, et propter hoc septem diebus fuerit immundus,
ወዘገሰሰ ፡ በድነ ፡ ዘኵሉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሰቡዐ ፡ ዕለተ ።
“He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
19:12
ה֣וּא יִתְחַטָּא־ב֞וֹ בַּיּ֧וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֛י וּבַיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י יִטְהָ֑ר וְאִם־לֹ֨א יִתְחַטָּ֜א בַּיּ֧וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֛י וּבַיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י לֹ֥א יִטְהָֽר׃
οὗτος ἁγνισθήσεται τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ καὶ καθαρὸς ἔσται ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀφαγνισθῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ οὐ καθαρὸς ἔσται
aspergetur ex hac aqua die tertio et septimo, et sic mundabitur. Si die tertio aspersus non fuerit, septimo non poterit emundari.
ወከመዝ ፡ ያነጽሕ ፡ ርእሶ ፡ በሣልስት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወበሳብዕት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወይከውን ፡ ንጹሐ ፡ ወለእመሰ ፡ ኢያንጽሐ ፡ ርእሶ ፡ በሣልስትኒ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወበሳብዕትኒ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ኢ[ይነጽሕ] ።
He shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean; but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
19:13
כׇּֽל־הַנֹּגֵ֡עַ בְּמֵ֣ת בְּנֶ֩פֶשׁ֩ הָאָדָ֨ם אֲשֶׁר־יָמ֜וּת וְלֹ֣א יִתְחַטָּ֗א אֶת־מִשְׁכַּ֤ן יְהֹוָה֙ טִמֵּ֔א וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּי֩ מֵ֨י נִדָּ֜ה לֹא־זֹרַ֤ק עָלָיו֙ טָמֵ֣א יִהְיֶ֔ה ע֖וֹד טֻמְאָת֥וֹ בֽוֹ׃
πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ τεθνηκότος ἀπὸ ψυχῆς ἀνθρώπου ἐὰν ἀποθάνῃ καὶ μὴ ἀφαγνισθῇ τὴν σκηνὴν κυρίου ἐμίανεν ἐκτριβήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐξ Ισραηλ ὅτι ὕδωρ ῥαντισμοῦ οὐ περιερραντίσθη ἐπ’ αὐτόν ἀκάθαρτός ἐστιν ἔτι ἡ ἀκαθαρσία αὐτοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ ἐστιν
Omnis qui tetigerit humanae animae morticinum, et aspersus hac commistione non fuerit, polluet tabernaculum Domini et peribit ex Israël : quia aqua expiationis non est aspersus, immundus erit, et manebit spurcitia ejus super eum.
ኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በድነ ፡ ዘኵሉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመ ፡ ሕያው ፡ ዘሞተ ፡ ወኢያንጽሐ ፡ ርእሶ ፡ አርኰሰ ፡ ደብተራሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ለትትቀጥቀጥ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ እምነ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢያንዝኀ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ማየ ፡ መንዝኅ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወዓዲሁ ፡ ር[ኵሱ] ፡ ሀለወ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ።
Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles Yahweh’s tabernacle; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is yet on him.
19:14
זֹ֚את הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אָדָ֖ם כִּֽי־יָמ֣וּת בְּאֹ֑הֶל כׇּל־הַבָּ֤א אֶל־הָאֹ֙הֶל֙ וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּאֹ֔הֶל יִטְמָ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃
καὶ οὗτος ὁ νόμος ἄνθρωπος ἐὰν ἀποθάνῃ ἐν οἰκίᾳ πᾶς ὁ εἰσπορευόμενος εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ἀκάθαρτα ἔσται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας
Ista est lex hominis qui moritur in tabernaculo : omnes qui ingrediuntur tentorium illius, et universa vasa quae ibi sunt, polluta erunt septem diebus.
ወከመዝ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለሰብእ ፡ ለእመቦ ፡ ዘሞተ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ቤት ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘቦአ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ቤት ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤት ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሰቡዐ ፡ መዋዕለ ።
“This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
19:15
וְכֹל֙ כְּלִ֣י פָת֔וּחַ אֲשֶׁ֛ר אֵין־צָמִ֥יד פָּתִ֖יל עָלָ֑יו טָמֵ֖א הֽוּא׃
καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος ἀνεῳγμένον ὅσα οὐχὶ δεσμὸν καταδέδεται ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἀκάθαρτά ἐστιν
Vas, quod non habuerit operculum nec ligaturam desuper, immundum erit.
ወኵሉ ፡ ንዋይ ፡ ክሡት ፡ ወዘኢኮነ ፡ እሱረ ፡ ማእሰር ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ።
Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.
19:16
וְכֹ֨ל אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּ֜ע עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה בַּֽחֲלַל־חֶ֙רֶב֙ א֣וֹ בְמֵ֔ת אֽוֹ־בְעֶ֥צֶם אָדָ֖ם א֣וֹ בְקָ֑בֶר יִטְמָ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃
καὶ πᾶς ὃς ἐὰν ἅψηται ἐπὶ προσώπου τοῦ πεδίου τραυματίου ἢ νεκροῦ ἢ ὀστέου ἀνθρωπίνου ἢ μνήματος ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται
Si quis in agro tetigerit cadaver occisi hominis, aut per se mortui, sive os illius, vel sepulchrum, immundus erit septem diebus.
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እመኒ ፡ ቅቱለ ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ በድን ፡ አው ፡ ዐጽመ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ አው ፡ መቃብር ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሰቡዐ ፡ መዋዕለ ።
“Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
19:17
וְלָֽקְחוּ֙ לַטָּמֵ֔א מֵעֲפַ֖ר שְׂרֵפַ֣ת הַֽחַטָּ֑את וְנָתַ֥ן עָלָ֛יו מַ֥יִם חַיִּ֖ים אֶל־כֶּֽלִי׃
καὶ λήμψονται τῷ ἀκαθάρτῳ ἀπὸ τῆς σποδιᾶς τῆς κατακεκαυμένης τοῦ ἁγνισμοῦ καὶ ἐκχεοῦσιν ἐπ’ αὐτὴν ὕδωρ ζῶν εἰς σκεῦος
Tollentque de cineribus combustionis atque peccati, et mittent aquas vivas super eos in vas :
ወያመጽኡ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ለዝክቱ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ሐመዳ ፡ ለእንታክቲ ፡ እንተ ፡ አውዐዩ ፡ ለአንጽሖ ፡ ወይሰውጡ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ ማየ ፡ ጥዑም ፡ በውስተ ፡ ግምዔ ።
“For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.
19:18
וְלָקַ֨ח אֵז֜וֹב וְטָבַ֣ל בַּמַּ֘יִם֮ אִ֣ישׁ טָהוֹר֒ וְהִזָּ֤ה עַל־הָאֹ֙הֶל֙ וְעַל־כׇּל־הַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַל־הַנְּפָשׁ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָֽיוּ־שָׁ֑ם וְעַל־הַנֹּגֵ֗עַ בַּעֶ֙צֶם֙ א֣וֹ בֶֽחָלָ֔ל א֥וֹ בַמֵּ֖ת א֥וֹ בַקָּֽבֶר׃
καὶ λήμψεται ὕσσωπον καὶ βάψει εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ ἀνὴρ καθαρὸς καὶ περιρρανεῖ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς ψυχάς ὅσαι ἐὰν ὦσιν ἐκεῖ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν ἡμμένον τοῦ ὀστέου τοῦ ἀνθρωπίνου ἢ τοῦ τραυματίου ἢ τοῦ τεθνηκότος ἢ τοῦ μνήματος
in quibus cum homo mundus tinxerit hyssopum, asperget ex eo omne tentorium, et cunctam supellectilem, et homines hujuscemodi contagione pollutos :
ወያመጽኡ ፡ ቈጽለ ፡ ህሶጱ ፡ ወይጠምዖ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወይነዝኅ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ቤት ፡ [ወ] ላዕለ ፡ ንዋዩ ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ህየ ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ዘገሰሰ ፡ ዐጽመ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ ቅቱለ ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ በድን ፡ ወእመኒ ፡ መቃብር ።
A clean person shall take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.
19:19
וְהִזָּ֤ה הַטָּהֹר֙ עַל־הַטָּמֵ֔א בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י וְחִטְּאוֹ֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָהֵ֥ר בָּעָֽרֶב׃
καὶ περιρρανεῖ ὁ καθαρὸς ἐπὶ τὸν ἀκάθαρτον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ καὶ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ καὶ ἀφαγνισθήσεται τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ καὶ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας
atque hoc modo mundus lustrabit immundum tertio et septimo die : expiatusque die septimo, lavabit et se et vestimenta sua, et immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
ወይነዝኆ ፡ ዘንጹሕ ፡ ለርኩስ ፡ በሣልስት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወበሳብዕት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወይነጽሕ ፡ በሳብዕት ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወየኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወይትኅፀብ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ በማይ ፡ ወርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
The clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. On the seventh day, he shall purify him. He shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.
19:20
וְאִ֤ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִטְמָא֙ וְלֹ֣א יִתְחַטָּ֔א וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מִתּ֣וֹךְ הַקָּהָ֑ל כִּי֩ אֶת־מִקְדַּ֨שׁ יְהֹוָ֜ה טִמֵּ֗א מֵ֥י נִדָּ֛ה לֹא־זֹרַ֥ק עָלָ֖יו טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃
καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἐὰν μιανθῇ καὶ μὴ ἀφαγνισθῇ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ μέσου τῆς συναγωγῆς ὅτι τὰ ἅγια κυρίου ἐμίανεν ὅτι ὕδωρ ῥαντισμοῦ οὐ περιερραντίσθη ἐπ’ αὐτόν ἀκάθαρτός ἐστιν
Si quis hoc ritu non fuerit expiatus, peribit anima illius de medio ecclesiae : quia sanctuarium Domini polluit, et non est aqua lustrationis aspersus.
ወብእሲ ፡ ዘረኵሰ ፡ ወኢያንጽሐ ፡ ርእሶ ፡ ለትሠሮ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ እስመ ፡ አርኰሰት ፡ ቅድሳቲሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ማየ ፡ መንዝኅ ፡ ኢተነዝኀ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ።
But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.
19:21
וְהָיְתָ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם לְחֻקַּ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם וּמַזֵּ֤ה מֵֽי־הַנִּדָּה֙ יְכַבֵּ֣ס בְּגָדָ֔יו וְהַנֹּגֵ֙עַ֙ בְּמֵ֣י הַנִּדָּ֔ה יִטְמָ֖א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃
καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον καὶ ὁ περιρραίνων ὕδωρ ῥαντισμοῦ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ῥαντισμοῦ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας
Erit hoc praeceptum legitimum sempiternum. Ipse quoque qui aspergit aquas, lavabit vestimenta sua. Omnis qui tetigerit aquas expiationis, immundus erit usque ad vesperum.
ወይኩንክሙ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፤ ወዘይነዝኅ ፡ ማየ ፡ መንዝኅ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወዘገሰሶ ፡ ለ[ማየ ፡] መንዝኅ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
It shall be a perpetual statute to them. He who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.
19:22
וְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּע־בּ֥וֹ הַטָּמֵ֖א יִטְמָ֑א וְהַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַנֹּגַ֖עַת תִּטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ {פ}
καὶ παντός οὗ ἐὰν ἅψηται αὐτοῦ ὁ ἀκάθαρτος ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται καὶ ἡ ψυχὴ ἡ ἁπτομένη ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας
Quidquid tetigerit immundus, immundum faciet : et anima, quae horum quippiam tetigerit, immunda erit usque ad vesperum.
ወኵሉ ፡ ዘገሰሶ ፡ ለርኩስ ፡ ይረኵስ ፡ ወነፍስ ፡ እንተ ፡ ገሰሰቶ ፡ ርኵስት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰርክ ።
“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
