9:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהֹוָ֣ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֣ה בְמִדְבַּר ־סִ֠ינַ֠י בַּשָּׁנָ֨ה הַשֵּׁנִ֜ית לְצֵאתָ֨ם מֵאֶ֧רֶץ מִצְרַ֛יִם בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ δευτέρῳ ἐξελθόντων αὐτῶν ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πρώτῳ λέγων
Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen in deserto Sinai anno secundo , postquam egressi sunt de terra Aegypti , mense primo , dicens :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በገዳም ፡ ዘሲና ፡ በካልእት ፡ ዓመት ፡ እምዘ ፡ ወጽኡ ፡ እምነ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ በቀዳሚ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
9:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיַעֲשׂ֧וּ בְנֵי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶת ־הַפָּ֖סַח בְּמוֹעֲדֽוֹ ׃
εἰπὸν καὶ ποιείτωσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὸ πασχα καθ’ ὥραν αὐτοῦ
Faciant filii Israël Phase in tempore suo ,
ንግሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ፋሲካ ፡ አመ ፡ ጊዜሁ ።
“Let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.
9:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּאַרְבָּעָ֣ה עָשָֽׂר ־י֠וֹם בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַזֶּ֜ה בֵּ֧ין הָֽעַרְבַּ֛יִם תַּעֲשׂ֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ בְּמֹעֲד֑וֹ כְּכׇל ־חֻקֹּתָ֥יו וּכְכׇל ־מִשְׁפָּטָ֖יו תַּעֲשׂ֥וּ אֹתֽוֹ ׃
τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου πρὸς ἑσπέραν ποιήσεις αὐτὸ κατὰ καιρούς κατὰ τὸν νόμον αὐτοῦ καὶ κατὰ τὴν σύγκρισιν αὐτοῦ ποιήσεις αὐτό
quartadecima die mensis hujus ad vesperam , juxta omnes caeremonias et justificationes ejus .
አመ ፡ ዐሡሩ ፡ ወረቡዑ ፡ ለሠርቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ቀዳሚ ፡ ወፍና ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ትገብርዎ ፡ አመ ፡ ጊዜሁ ፡ ወበከመ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ወበከመ ፡ ትእዛዙ ፡ ትገብሮ ።
On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season. You shall keep it according to all its statutes and according to all its ordinances.”
9:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶל ־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת הַפָּֽסַח ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ποιῆσαι τὸ πασχα
Praecepitque Moyses filiis Israël ut facerent Phase .
ወነገሮሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ፋሲካ ።
Moses told the children of Israel that they should keep the Passover.
9:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּ אֶת ־הַפֶּ֡סַח בָּרִאשׁ֡וֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָה֩ עָשָׂ֨ר י֥וֹם לַחֹ֛דֶשׁ בֵּ֥ין הָעַרְבַּ֖יִם בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר סִינָ֑י כְּ֠כֹ֠ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֤ה יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֥ן עָשׂ֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
ἐναρχομένου τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τοῦ Σινα καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ οὕτως ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ
Qui fecerunt tempore suo , quartadecima die mensis ad vesperam , in monte Sinai . Juxta omnia quae mandaverat Dominus Moysi , fecerunt filii Israël .
ወይእኅዙ ፡ እምዕለተ ፡ ዐሡሩ ፡ ወረቡዑ ፡ ለሠርቀ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ በገዳም ፡ ዘሲና ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ገብሩ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.
9:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֣י אֲנָשִׁ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָי֤וּ טְמֵאִים֙ לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ אָדָ֔ם וְלֹא ־יָכְל֥וּ לַעֲשֹׂת ־הַפֶּ֖סַח בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא וַֽיִּקְרְב֞וּ לִפְנֵ֥י מֹשֶׁ֛ה וְלִפְנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹ֖ן בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא ׃
καὶ παρεγένοντο οἱ ἄνδρες οἳ ἦσαν ἀκάθαρτοι ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ἀνθρώπου καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο ποιῆσαι τὸ πασχα ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ προσῆλθον ἐναντίον Μωυσῆ καὶ Ααρων ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ
Ecce autem quidam immundi super anima hominis , qui non poterant facere Phase in die illo , accedentes ad Moysen et Aaron ,
ወመጽኡ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ እለ ፡ ቦሙ ፡ ርኵስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ወስእኑ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ፋሲካ ፡ በይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወመጽኡ ፡ ቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ በይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
There were certain men who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.
9:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַ֠יֹּאמְר֠וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֤ים הָהֵ֙מָּה֙ אֵלָ֔יו אֲנַ֥חְנוּ טְמֵאִ֖ים לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ אָדָ֑ם לָ֣מָּה נִגָּרַ֗ע לְבִלְתִּ֨י הַקְרִ֜יב אֶת ־קׇרְבַּ֤ן יְהֹוָה֙ בְּמֹ֣עֲד֔וֹ בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἄνδρες ἐκεῖνοι πρὸς αὐτόν ἡμεῖς ἀκάθαρτοι ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ἀνθρώπου μὴ οὖν ὑστερήσωμεν προσενέγκαι τὸ δῶρον κυρίῳ κατὰ καιρὸν αὐτοῦ ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ
dixerunt eis : Immundi sumus super anima hominis : quare fraudamur ut non valeamus oblationem offerre Domino in tempore suo inter filios Israël ?
ወይቤልዎሙ ፡ ውእቶሙ ፡ ዕደው ፡ ንሕነሰ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ንሕነ ፡ እለ ፡ ብነ ፡ ርኵስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ነፍስነ ፡ ወኢንትኀደግ ፡ እምአብኦ ፡ ቍርባኑ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በበዘመኑ ።
Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”
9:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֖ם מֹשֶׁ֑ה עִמְד֣וּ וְאֶשְׁמְעָ֔ה מַה ־יְצַוֶּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה לָכֶֽם ׃ {פ}
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς στῆτε αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκούσομαι τί ἐντελεῖται κύριος περὶ ὑμῶν
Quibus respondit Moyses : State ut consulam quid praecipiat Dominus de vobis .
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ቁሙኒ ፡ ወእስማዕ ፡ ምንተ ፡ ይኤዝዝ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በእንቲአክሙ ።
Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”
9:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
9:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל ־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר אִ֣ישׁ אִ֣ישׁ כִּי ־יִהְיֶֽה ־טָמֵ֣א ׀לָנֶ֡פֶשׁ אוֹ֩ בְדֶ֨רֶךְ רְחֹקָ֜הׄ לָכֶ֗ם א֚וֹ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְעָ֥שָׂה פֶ֖סַח לַיהֹוָֽה ׃
λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἐὰν γένηται ἀκάθαρτος ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ἀνθρώπου ἢ ἐν ὁδῷ μακρὰν ὑμῖν ἢ ἐν ταῖς γενεαῖς ὑμῶν καὶ ποιήσει τὸ πασχα κυρίῳ
Loquere filiis Israël : Homo , qui fuerit immundus super anima , sive in via procul in gente vestra , faciat Phase Domino
ንግሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ለእመቦ ፡ ዘወፅአ ፡ ርኵስ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ነፍሱ ፡ ለሰብእ ፡ ወለእመኒ ፡ ርሑቀ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ሀለወ ፡ ወለእመኒ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሙላዲክሙ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ፋሲካሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤
“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.
9:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֜י בְּאַרְבָּעָ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר י֛וֹם בֵּ֥ין הָעַרְבַּ֖יִם יַעֲשׂ֣וּ אֹת֑וֹ עַל ־מַצּ֥וֹת וּמְרֹרִ֖ים יֹאכְלֻֽהוּ ׃
ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δευτέρῳ ἐν τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τὸ πρὸς ἑσπέραν ποιήσουσιν αὐτό ἐπ’ ἀζύμων καὶ πικρίδων φάγονται αὐτό
in mense secundo , quartadecima die mensis ad vesperam . Cum azymis et lactucis agrestibus comedent illud :
በካልእ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ አመ ፡ ዐሡሩ ፡ ወረቡዑ ፡ ለሠርቅ ፡ ፍና ፡ ሰርክ ፡ ይግበርዎ ፡ በናእት ፡ ወኀምለ ፡ ብሒእ ፡ ይብልዕዎ ።
In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
9:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֹֽא ־יַשְׁאִ֤ירוּ מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ עַד ־בֹּ֔קֶר וְעֶ֖צֶם לֹ֣א יִשְׁבְּרוּ ־ב֑וֹ כְּכׇל ־חֻקַּ֥ת הַפֶּ֖סַח יַעֲשׂ֥וּ אֹתֽוֹ ׃
οὐ καταλείψουσιν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ ὀστοῦν οὐ συντρίψουσιν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὸν νόμον τοῦ πασχα ποιήσουσιν αὐτό
non relinquent ex eo quippiam usque mane , et os ejus non confringent : omnem ritum Phase observabunt .
ወኢያትርፉ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ ለነግህ ፡ ወዐጽመ ፡ ኢይስብሩ ፡ እምኔሁ ፡ በሕጉ ፡ ለፋሲካ ፡ ይግበርዎ ።
They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.
9:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָאִישׁ֩ אֲשֶׁר ־ה֨וּא טָה֜וֹר וּבְדֶ֣רֶךְ לֹא ־הָיָ֗ה וְחָדַל֙ לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת הַפֶּ֔סַח וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵֽעַמֶּ֑יהָ כִּ֣י ׀ קׇרְבַּ֣ן יְהֹוָ֗ה לֹ֤א הִקְרִיב֙ בְּמֹ֣עֲד֔וֹ חֶטְא֥וֹ יִשָּׂ֖א הָאִ֥ישׁ הַהֽוּא ׃
καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἐὰν καθαρὸς ᾖ καὶ ἐν ὁδῷ μακρᾷ οὐκ ἔστιν καὶ ὑστερήσῃ ποιῆσαι τὸ πασχα ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς ὅτι τὸ δῶρον κυρίῳ οὐ προσήνεγκεν κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν αὐτοῦ ἁμαρτίαν αὐτοῦ λήμψεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος
Si quis autem et mundus est , et in itinere non fuit , et tamen non fecit Phase , exterminabitur anima illa de populis suis , quia sacrificium Domino non obtulit tempore suo : peccatum suum ipse portabit .
ወሰብእሰ ፡ ዘንጹሕ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወኢኮነ ፡ ርሑቀ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሀለወ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ኀደገ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ፋሲካ ፡ ለትሠሮ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሕዝባ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቍርባኖ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢያብአ ፡ በዘመኑ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ ይከውኖ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ብእሲ ።
But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
9:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכִֽי ־יָג֨וּר אִתְּכֶ֜ם גֵּ֗ר וְעָ֤שָֽׂה פֶ֙סַח֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה כְּחֻקַּ֥ת הַפֶּ֛סַח וּכְמִשְׁפָּט֖וֹ כֵּ֣ן יַעֲשֶׂ֑ה חֻקָּ֤ה אַחַת֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֔ם וְלַגֵּ֖ר וּלְאֶזְרַ֥ח הָאָֽרֶץ ׃ {ס}
ἐὰν δὲ προσέλθῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς προσήλυτος ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν καὶ ποιήσει τὸ πασχα κυρίῳ κατὰ τὸν νόμον τοῦ πασχα καὶ κατὰ τὴν σύνταξιν αὐτοῦ ποιήσει αὐτό νόμος εἷς ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ καὶ τῷ αὐτόχθονι τῆς γῆς
Peregrinus quoque et advena si fuerint apud vos , facient Phase Domino juxta caeremonias et justificationes ejus . Praeceptum idem erit apud vos tam advenae quam indigenae .
ወለእመኒ ፡ መጽአ ፡ ኀቤክሙ ፡ ግዩር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድርክሙ ፡ ይግበር ፡ ፋሲካሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በሕጉ ፡ ለፋሱካ ፡ ወ በከመ ፡ ትእዛዙ ፡ ይግበርዎ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ለግዩርኒ ፡ ወለዘ ፡ እምፍጥረቱኒ ።
“‘If a foreigner lives among you and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh, then he shall do so according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner and for him who is born in the land.’”
9:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְיוֹם֙ הָקִ֣ים אֶת ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן כִּסָּ֤ה הֶֽעָנָן֙ אֶת ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן לְאֹ֖הֶל הָעֵדֻ֑ת וּבָעֶ֜רֶב יִהְיֶ֧ה עַֽל ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן כְּמַרְאֵה ־אֵ֖שׁ עַד ־בֹּֽקֶר ׃
καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐστάθη ἡ σκηνή ἐκάλυψεν ἡ νεφέλη τὴν σκηνήν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὸ ἑσπέρας ἦν ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς ὡς εἶδος πυρὸς ἕως πρωί
Igitur die qua erectum est tabernaculum , operuit illud nubes . A vespere autem super tentorium erat quasi species ignis usque mane .
ወበዕለት ፡ እንተ ፡ ባቲ ፡ ተከልዋ ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ ከደና ፡ ደመና ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ መርጡል ፡ ወሌሊተሰ ፡ ይመጽእ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ከመ ፡ ራእየ ፡ እሳት ፡ እስከ ፡ ይጸብሕ ።
On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony. At evening it was over the tabernacle, as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.
9:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֵּ֚ן יִהְיֶ֣ה תָמִ֔יד הֶעָנָ֖ן יְכַסֶּ֑נּוּ וּמַרְאֵה ־אֵ֖שׁ לָֽיְלָה ׃
οὕτως ἐγίνετο διὰ παντός ἡ νεφέλη ἐκάλυπτεν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας καὶ εἶδος πυρὸς τὴν νύκτα
Sic fiebat jugiter : per diem operiebat illud nubes , et per noctem quasi species ignis .
ወከመዝ ፡ ይከውን ፡ ለዘልፍ ፡ ደመና ፡ ይከድና ፡ መዓልተ ፡ ወራእየ ፡ እሳት ፡ ሌሊተ ።
So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.
9:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּלְפִ֞י הֵעָל֤וֹת הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעַ֣ל הָאֹ֔הֶל וְאַ֣חֲרֵי כֵ֔ן יִסְע֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּבִמְק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁכׇּן ־שָׁם֙ הֶֽעָנָ֔ן שָׁ֥ם יַחֲנ֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ἡνίκα ἀνέβη ἡ νεφέλη ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἀπῆραν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν τῷ τόπῳ οὗ ἂν ἔστη ἡ νεφέλη ἐκεῖ παρενέβαλον οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ
Cumque ablata fuisset nubes , quae tabernaculum protegebat , tunc proficiscebantur filii Israël : et in loco ubi stetisset nubes , ibi castrametabantur .
ወእምከመ ፡ ሰሰለ ፡ ደመና ፡ እምነ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ይግዕዙ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወመካኖ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ቆመ ፡ ደመና ፡ ህየ ፡ ይትዐየኑ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped.
9:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־פִּ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה יִסְעוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְעַל ־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה יַחֲנ֑וּ כׇּל ־יְמֵ֗י אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכֹּ֧ן הֶעָנָ֛ן עַל ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יַחֲנֽוּ ׃
διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου παρεμβαλοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου ἀπαροῦσιν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ἐν αἷς σκιάζει ἡ νεφέλη ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς παρεμβαλοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ
Ad imperium Domini proficiscebantur , et ad imperium illius figebant tabernaculum . Cunctis diebus quibus stabat nubes super tabernaculum , manebant in eodem loco :
ወበትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይግዕዙ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ዘቦቱ ፡ ይጼልላ ፡ ደመና ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ ዘየሐድሩ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.
9:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְהַאֲרִ֧יךְ הֶֽעָנָ֛ן עַל ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וְשָׁמְר֧וּ בְנֵי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶת ־מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת יְהֹוָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א יִסָּֽעוּ ׃
καὶ ὅταν ἐφέλκηται ἡ νεφέλη ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς ἡμέρας πλείους καὶ φυλάξονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὴν φυλακὴν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξάρωσιν
et si evenisset ut multo tempore maneret super illud , erant filii Israël in excubiis Domini , et non proficiscebantur
ወሶበ ፡ ይነብር ፡ ደመና ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ የዐቅቡ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ መዓቅቢሆሙ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢይግዕዙ ።
When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel.
9:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיֵ֞שׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִהְיֶ֧ה הֶֽעָנָ֛ן יָמִ֥ים מִסְפָּ֖ר עַל ־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַל ־פִּ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ יַחֲנ֔וּ וְעַל ־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה יִסָּֽעוּ ׃
καὶ ἔσται ὅταν σκεπάσῃ ἡ νεφέλη ἡμέρας ἀριθμῷ ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου παρεμβαλοῦσιν καὶ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου ἀπαροῦσιν
quot diebus fuisset nubes super tabernaculum . Ad imperium Domini erigebant tentoria , et ad imperium illius deponebant .
ወበኍልቈ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ዘይከድን ፡ ደመና ፡ ዲበ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ የኀድሩ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይግዕዙ ።
Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled.
9:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיֵ֞שׁ אֲשֶׁר ־יִהְיֶ֤ה הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעֶ֣רֶב עַד ־בֹּ֔קֶר וְנַעֲלָ֧ה הֶֽעָנָ֛ן בַּבֹּ֖קֶר וְנָסָ֑עוּ א֚וֹ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַ֔יְלָה וְנַעֲלָ֥ה הֶעָנָ֖ן וְנָסָֽעוּ ׃
καὶ ἔσται ὅταν γένηται ἡ νεφέλη ἀφ’ ἑσπέρας ἕως πρωὶ καὶ ἀναβῇ ἡ νεφέλη τὸ πρωί καὶ ἀπαροῦσιν ἡμέρας ἢ νυκτός
Si fuisset nubes a vespere usque mane , et statim diluculo tabernaculum reliquisset , proficiscebantur : et si post diem et noctem recessisset , dissipabant tentoria .
ወሶበ ፡ ይነብር ፡ ደመና ፡ እምሰርክ ፡ እስከ ፡ ነግህ ፡ ወእምከመ ፡ ጸብሐ ፡ ይሴስል ፡ ደመና ፡ ይግዕዙ ፡ መዓልተ ።
Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled; or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.
9:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֽוֹ ־יֹמַ֜יִם אוֹ ־חֹ֣דֶשׁ אוֹ ־יָמִ֗ים בְּהַאֲרִ֨יךְ הֶעָנָ֤ן עַל ־הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ לִשְׁכֹּ֣ן עָלָ֔יו יַחֲנ֥וּ בְנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְלֹ֣א יִסָּ֑עוּ וּבְהֵעָלֹת֖וֹ יִסָּֽעוּ ׃
μηνὸς ἡμέρας πλεοναζούσης τῆς νεφέλης σκιαζούσης ἐπ’ αὐτῆς παρεμβαλοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀπάρωσιν
Si vero biduo aut uno mense vel longiori tempore fuisset super tabernaculum , manebant filii Israël in eodem loco , et non proficiscebantur : statim autem ut recessisset , movebant castra .
ወለእመኒ ፡ አብዝኀ ፡ ነቢረ ፡ ደመና ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይጼልላ ፡ እስከ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ይትዓየኑ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወኢይግዕዙ ።
Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.
9:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל ־פִּ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ יַחֲנ֔וּ וְעַל ־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה יִסָּ֑עוּ אֶת ־מִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת יְהֹוָה֙ שָׁמָ֔רוּ עַל ־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּיַד ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
ὅτι διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου ἀπαροῦσιν τὴν φυλακὴν κυρίου ἐφυλάξαντο διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ
Per verbum Domini figebant tentoria , et per verbum illius proficiscebantur : erantque in excubiis Domini juxta imperium ejus per manum Moysi .
እስመ ፡ በትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይግዕዙ ፡ ወሕገጊሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ የዐቅቡ ፡ በትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበእዴሁ ፡ ለሙሴ ።
At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
