107:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֹד֣וּ לַיהֹוָ֣ה כִּי ־ט֑וֹב כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ ׃
αλληλουια ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῷ κυρίῳ ὅτι χρηστός ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ
Alleluja . Confitemini Domino , quoniam bonus , quoniam in saeculum misericordia ejus .
ሀሌሉያ ። ግነዩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ኄር ፤ እስመ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ምሕረቱ ።
Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
107:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ יֹ֭אמְרוּ גְּאוּלֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר גְּ֝אָלָ֗ם מִיַּד ־צָֽר ׃
εἰπάτωσαν οἱ λελυτρωμένοι ὑπὸ κυρίου οὓς ἐλυτρώσατο ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθροῦ
Dicant qui redempti sunt a Domino , quos redemit de manu inimici , et de regionibus congregavit eos ,
ለይበሉ ፡ እለ ፡ አድኀኖሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ እለ ፡ አድኀኖሙ ፡ እምእደ ፡ ፀሮሙ ። ወአስተጋብኦሙ ፡ እምበሓውርት ፤
Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
107:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּֽמֵאֲרָצ֗וֹת קִ֫בְּצָ֥ם מִמִּזְרָ֥ח וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֑ב מִצָּפ֥וֹן וּמִיָּֽם ׃
ἐκ τῶν χωρῶν συνήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ δυσμῶν καὶ βορρᾶ καὶ θαλάσσης
a solis ortu , et occasu , ab aquilone , et mari .
እምጽባሕ ፡ ወእምዐረብ ፡ ወመስዕ ፡ ወባሕር ።
and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
107:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ תָּע֣וּ בַ֭מִּדְבָּר בִּישִׁימ֣וֹן דָּ֑רֶךְ עִ֥יר מ֝וֹשָׁ֗ב לֹ֣א מָצָֽאוּ ׃
ἐπλανήθησαν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐν ἀνύδρῳ ὁδὸν πόλεως κατοικητηρίου οὐχ εὗρον
Erraverunt in solitudine , in inaquoso ; viam civitatis habitaculi non invenerunt .
ወሳኰዩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በድው ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ማየ ፤ ወኢረከቡ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ብሔሮሙ ።
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.
107:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ רְעֵבִ֥ים גַּם ־צְמֵאִ֑ים נַ֝פְשָׁ֗ם בָּהֶ֥ם תִּתְעַטָּֽף ׃
πεινῶντες καὶ διψῶντες ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐξέλιπεν
Esurientes et sitientes , anima eorum in ipsis defecit .
ጸምኡ ፡ ወርኅቡ ፤ ወኀልቀት ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ በላዕሌሆሙ ።
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
107:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּצְעֲק֣וּ אֶל ־יְ֭הֹוָה בַּצַּ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם מִ֝מְּצ֥וּקוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם יַצִּילֵֽם ׃
καὶ ἐκέκραξαν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαι αὐτούς καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀναγκῶν αὐτῶν ἐρρύσατο αὐτοὺς
Et clamaverunt ad Dominum cum tribularentur , et de necessitatibus eorum eripuit eos ;
ወዐውየዉ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሶበ ፡ ተመንደቡ ፤ ወአድኀኖሙ ፡ እምንዳቤሆሙ ።
Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
107:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽ֭יַּדְרִיכֵם בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יְשָׁרָ֑ה לָ֝לֶ֗כֶת אֶל ־עִ֥יר מוֹשָֽׁב ׃
καὶ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς εἰς ὁδὸν εὐθεῖαν τοῦ πορευθῆναι εἰς πόλιν κατοικητηρίου
et deduxit eos in viam rectam , ut irent in civitatem habitationis .
ወመርሖሙ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ርቱዐ ፤ ከመ ፡ ይሖሩ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ሀገሮሙ ።
He led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.
107:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ יוֹד֣וּ לַיהֹוָ֣ה חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם ׃
ἐξομολογησάσθωσαν τῷ κυρίῳ τὰ ἐλέη αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων
Confiteantur Domino misericordiae ejus , et mirabilia ejus filiis hominum .
ንግሩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ምሕረቶ ፤ ወመንክሮሂ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
107:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־הִ֭שְׂבִּיעַ נֶ֣פֶשׁ שֹׁקֵקָ֑ה וְנֶ֥פֶשׁ רְ֝עֵבָ֗ה מִלֵּא ־טֽוֹב ׃
ὅτι ἐχόρτασεν ψυχὴν κενὴν καὶ ψυχὴν πεινῶσαν ἐνέπλησεν ἀγαθῶν
Quia satiavit animam inanem , et animam esurientem satiavit bonis .
እስመ ፡ አጽገበ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ርኅብተ ፤ ወመልአ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ዕራቃ ፡ በረከተ ።
For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.
107:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ יֹ֭שְׁבֵי חֹ֣שֶׁךְ וְצַלְמָ֑וֶת אֲסִירֵ֖י עֳנִ֣י וּבַרְזֶֽל ׃
καθημένους ἐν σκότει καὶ σκιᾷ θανάτου πεπεδημένους ἐν πτωχείᾳ καὶ σιδήρῳ
Sedentes in tenebris et umbra mortis ; vinctos in mendicitate et ferro .
ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽልመት ፡ ወጽላሎተ ፡ ሞት ፤ ወመቁሓን ፡ በንዴት ፡ ወበኀጺን ።
Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,
107:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־הִמְר֥וּ אִמְרֵי ־אֵ֑ל וַעֲצַ֖ת עֶלְי֣וֹן נָאָֽצוּ ׃
ὅτι παρεπίκραναν τὰ λόγια τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὴν βουλὴν τοῦ ὑψίστου παρώξυναν
Quia exacerbaverunt eloquia Dei , et consilium Altissimi irritaverunt .
እስመ ፡ አምረሩ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወአምዕዑ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ልዑል ።
because they rebelled against the words of God, and condemned the counsel of the Most High.
107:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּכְנַ֣ע בֶּעָמָ֣ל לִבָּ֑ם כָּ֝שְׁל֗וּ וְאֵ֣ין עֹזֵֽר ׃
καὶ ἐταπεινώθη ἐν κόποις ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ἠσθένησαν καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ βοηθῶν
Et humiliatum est in laboribus cor eorum ; infirmati sunt , nec fuit qui adjuvaret .
ወሰርሐ ፡ በሕማም ፡ ልቦሙ ፤ ደወዩ ፡ ወኀጥኡ ፡ ዘይቀብሮሙ ።
Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was no one to help.
107:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּזְעֲק֣וּ אֶל ־יְ֭הֹוָה בַּצַּ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם מִ֝מְּצֻ֥קוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם יוֹשִׁיעֵֽם ׃
καὶ ἐκέκραξαν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαι αὐτούς καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀναγκῶν αὐτῶν ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς
Et clamaverunt ad Dominum cum tribularentur ; et de necessitatibus eorum liberavit eos .
ወዐውየዉ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሶበ ፡ ተመንደቡ ፤ ወአድኀኖሙ ፡ እምንዳቤሆሙ ።
Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
107:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ י֭וֹצִיאֵם מֵחֹ֣שֶׁךְ וְצַלְמָ֑וֶת וּמוֹסְר֖וֹתֵיהֶ֣ם יְנַתֵּֽק ׃
καὶ ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ σκότους καὶ σκιᾶς θανάτου καὶ τοὺς δεσμοὺς αὐτῶν διέρρηξεν
Et eduxit eos de tenebris et umbra mortis , et vincula eorum dirupit .
ወአውፅኦሙ ፡ እምጽልመት ፡ ወጽላሎተ ፡ ሞት ፤ ወሰበረ ፡ መዋቅሕቲሆሙ ።
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke away their chains.
107:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ יוֹד֣וּ לַיהֹוָ֣ה חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם ׃
ἐξομολογησάσθωσαν τῷ κυρίῳ τὰ ἐλέη αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων
Confiteantur Domino misericordiae ejus , et mirabilia ejus filiis hominum .
ንግሩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ምሕረቶ ፤ ወመንክሮሂ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
107:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּי ־שִׁ֭בַּר דַּלְת֣וֹת נְחֹ֑שֶׁת וּבְרִיחֵ֖י בַרְזֶ֣ל גִּדֵּֽעַ ׃
ὅτι συνέτριψεν πύλας χαλκᾶς καὶ μοχλοὺς σιδηροῦς συνέκλασεν
Quia contrivit portas aereas , et vectes ferreos confregit .
እስመ ፡ ሰበረ ፡ ኆኃተ ፡ ብርት ፤ ወቀጥቀጠ ፡ መናስግተ ፡ ኀጺን ።
For he has broken the gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron.
107:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֱ֭וִלִים מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ פִּשְׁעָ֑ם וּֽ֝מֵעֲוֺ֥נֹתֵיהֶ֗ם יִתְעַנּֽוּ ׃
ἀντελάβετο αὐτῶν ἐξ ὁδοῦ ἀνομίας αὐτῶν διὰ γὰρ τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῶν ἐταπεινώθησαν
Suscepit eos de via iniquitatis eorum ; propter injustitias enim suas humiliati sunt .
ወተወክፎሙ ፡ እምፍኖተ ፡ ጌጋዮሙ ፤ እስመ ፡ ሐሙ ፡ በኃጢአቶሙ ።
Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.
107:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ כׇּל ־אֹ֭כֶל תְּתַעֵ֣ב נַפְשָׁ֑ם וַ֝יַּגִּ֗יעוּ עַד ־שַׁ֥עֲרֵי מָֽוֶת ׃
πᾶν βρῶμα ἐβδελύξατο ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῶν καὶ ἤγγισαν ἕως τῶν πυλῶν τοῦ θανάτου
Omnem escam abominata est anima eorum , et appropinquaverunt usque ad portas mortis .
ወኵሎ ፡ መብልዐ ፡ አስቆረረት ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፤ ወቀርቡ ፡ ኀበ ፡ አናቅጸ ፡ ሞት ።
Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.
107:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּזְעֲק֣וּ אֶל ־יְ֭הֹוָה בַּצַּ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם מִ֝מְּצֻ֥קוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם יוֹשִׁיעֵֽם ׃

107:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִשְׁלַ֣ח דְּ֭בָרוֹ וְיִרְפָּאֵ֑ם וִ֝ימַלֵּ֗ט מִשְּׁחִֽיתוֹתָֽם ׃
ἀπέστειλεν τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἰάσατο αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐρρύσατο αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῶν διαφθορῶν αὐτῶν
Misit verbum suum , et sanavit eos , et eripuit eos de interitionibus eorum .
ወፈነወ ፡ ቃሎ ፡ ወአሕየዎሙ ፤ ወአድኀኖሙ ፡ እሞቶሙ ።
He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.
107:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ יוֹד֣וּ לַיהֹוָ֣ה חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם ׃
ἐξομολογησάσθωσαν τῷ κυρίῳ τὰ ἐλέη αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων

107:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְ֭יִזְבְּחוּ זִבְחֵ֣י תוֹדָ֑ה וִיסַפְּר֖וּ מַעֲשָׂ֣יו בְּרִנָּֽה ׃
καὶ θυσάτωσαν θυσίαν αἰνέσεως καὶ ἐξαγγειλάτωσαν τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει
Et sacrificent sacrificium laudis , et annuntient opera ejus in exsultatione .
ወይሡዑ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ስብሐት ፤ ወይንግሩ ፡ ግብሮ ፡ በትፍሥሕት ።
Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his deeds with singing.
107:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ יוֹרְדֵ֣י הַ֭יָּם בׇּאֳנִיּ֑וֹת עֹשֵׂ֥י מְ֝לָאכָ֗ה בְּמַ֣יִם רַבִּֽים ׃
οἱ καταβαίνοντες εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν ἐν πλοίοις ποιοῦντες ἐργασίαν ἐν ὕδασι πολλοῖς
Qui descendunt mare in navibus , facientes operationem in aquis multis :
እለ ፡ ይወርዱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ በአሕማር ፤ ወይትጌበሩ ፡ ተግባሮሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማይ ፡ ብዙኅ ።
Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters,
107:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ הֵ֣מָּה רָ֭אוּ מַעֲשֵׂ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו בִּמְצוּלָֽה ׃
αὐτοὶ εἴδοσαν τὰ ἔργα κυρίου καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ βυθῷ
ipsi viderunt opera Domini , et mirabilia ejus in profundo .
እሙንቱሰ ፡ ያአምሩ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤ ወመንክሮሂ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ልጐት ።
these see Yahweh’s deeds, and his wonders in the deep.
107:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר וַֽ֭יַּעֲמֵד ר֣וּחַ סְעָרָ֑ה וַתְּרוֹמֵ֥ם גַּלָּֽיו ׃
εἶπεν καὶ ἔστη πνεῦμα καταιγίδος καὶ ὑψώθη τὰ κύματα αὐτῆς
Dixit , et stetit spiritus procellae , et exaltati sunt fluctus ejus .
ይቤ ፡ ወመጽአ ፡ መንፈሰ ፡ ዐውሎ ፤ ወተለዐለ ፡ ማዕበል ።
For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.
107:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ יַעֲל֣וּ שָׁ֭מַיִם יֵרְד֣וּ תְהוֹמ֑וֹת נַ֝פְשָׁ֗ם בְּרָעָ֥ה תִתְמוֹגָֽג ׃
ἀναβαίνουσιν ἕως τῶν οὐρανῶν καὶ καταβαίνουσιν ἕως τῶν ἀβύσσων ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῶν ἐν κακοῖς ἐτήκετο
Ascendunt usque ad caelos , et descendunt usque ad abyssos ; anima eorum in malis tabescebat .
የዐርጉ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወይወርዱ ፡ እስከ ፡ ቀላይ ፤ ወተመስወት ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ በሕማም ።
They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.
107:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ יָח֣וֹגּוּ וְ֭יָנוּעוּ כַּשִּׁכּ֑וֹר וְכׇל ־חׇ֝כְמָתָ֗ם תִּתְבַּלָּֽע ׃
ἐταράχθησαν ἐσαλεύθησαν ὡς ὁ μεθύων καὶ πᾶσα ἡ σοφία αὐτῶν κατεπόθη
Turbati sunt , et moti sunt sicut ebrius , et omnis sapientia eorum devorata est .
ደንገፁ ፡ ወተሀውኩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ስኩር ፤ ወተሰጥመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ጥበቦሙ ።
They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
107:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ וַיִּצְעֲק֣וּ אֶל ־יְ֭הֹוָה בַּצַּ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם וּֽ֝מִמְּצ֥וּקֹתֵיהֶ֗ם יוֹצִיאֵֽם ׃
καὶ ἐκέκραξαν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαι αὐτούς καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀναγκῶν αὐτῶν ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς

Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.
107:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָקֵ֣ם סְ֭עָרָה לִדְמָמָ֑ה וַ֝יֶּחֱשׁ֗וּ גַּלֵּיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ ἐπέταξεν τῇ καταιγίδι καὶ ἔστη εἰς αὔραν καὶ ἐσίγησαν τὰ κύματα αὐτῆς
Et statuit procellam ejus in auram , et siluerunt fluctus ejus .
ወአጥፍኦ ፡ ለዐውሎ ፡ ወአርመመ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወአርመመ ፡ ማዕበል ።
He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.
107:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׂמְח֥וּ כִֽי ־יִשְׁתֹּ֑קוּ וַ֝יַּנְחֵ֗ם אֶל ־מְח֥וֹז חֶפְצָֽם ׃
καὶ εὐφράνθησαν ὅτι ἡσύχασαν καὶ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ λιμένα θελήματος αὐτῶν
Et laetati sunt quia siluerunt ; et deduxit eos in portum voluntatis eorum .
ወተፈሥሑ ፡ እስመ ፡ አዕረፉ ፤ ወመርሖሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መርሶ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ፈቀዱ ።
Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.
107:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ יוֹד֣וּ לַיהֹוָ֣ה חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם ׃
ἐξομολογησάσθωσαν τῷ κυρίῳ τὰ ἐλέη αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων

107:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וִֽ֭ירוֹמְמוּהוּ בִּקְהַל ־עָ֑ם וּבְמוֹשַׁ֖ב זְקֵנִ֣ים יְהַלְלֽוּהוּ ׃
ὑψωσάτωσαν αὐτὸν ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ λαοῦ καὶ ἐν καθέδρᾳ πρεσβυτέρων αἰνεσάτωσαν αὐτόν
Et exaltent eum in ecclesia plebis , et in cathedra seniorum laudent eum .
ወያዐብይዎ ፡ በማኅበረ ፡ አሕዛብ ፤ ወይሴብሕዎ ፡ በመንበረ ፡ ሊቃውንት ።
Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
107:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָשֵׂ֣ם נְהָר֣וֹת לְמִדְבָּ֑ר וּמֹצָ֥אֵי מַ֝֗יִם לְצִמָּאֽוֹן ׃
ἔθετο ποταμοὺς εἰς ἔρημον καὶ διεξόδους ὑδάτων εἰς δίψαν
Posuit flumina in desertum , et exitus aquarum in sitim ;
ወረሰዮሙ ፡ ለአፍላግ ፡ በድወ ፤ ወረሰየ ፡ ምጽማአ ፡ ሙሓዘ ፡ ማይ ።
He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,
107:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֶ֣רֶץ פְּ֭רִי לִמְלֵחָ֑ה מֵ֝רָעַ֗ת י֣וֹשְׁבֵי בָֽהּ ׃
γῆν καρποφόρον εἰς ἅλμην ἀπὸ κακίας τῶν κατοικούντων ἐν αὐτῇ
terram fructiferam in salsuginem , a malitia inhabitantium in ea .
ወረሰየ ፡ ጼወ ፡ ለምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ትፈሪ ፤ በእከዮሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብርዋ ።
and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
107:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ יָשֵׂ֣ם מִ֭דְבָּר לַאֲגַם ־מַ֑יִם וְאֶ֥רֶץ צִ֝יָּ֗ה לְמֹצָ֥אֵי מָֽיִם ׃
ἔθετο ἔρημον εἰς λίμνας ὑδάτων καὶ γῆν ἄνυδρον εἰς διεξόδους ὑδάτων
Posuit desertum in stagna aquarum , et terram sine aqua in exitus aquarum .
ወረሰዩ ፡ ለበድው ፡ ሙሓዘ ፡ ማይ ፤ ወለምድረ ፡ በድው ፡ ቀላያተ ፡ ማያት ።
He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
107:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיּ֣וֹשֶׁב שָׁ֣ם רְעֵבִ֑ים וַ֝יְכוֹנְנ֗וּ עִ֣יר מוֹשָֽׁב ׃
καὶ κατῴκισεν ἐκεῖ πεινῶντας καὶ συνεστήσαντο πόλιν κατοικεσίας
Et collocavit illic esurientes , et constituerunt civitatem habitationis :
ወአንበረ ፡ ህየ ፡ ርኁባነ ፤ ወሐነጹ ፡ አህጉረ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ይነብርዋ ።
There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,
107:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּזְרְע֣וּ שָׂ֭דוֹת וַיִּטְּע֣וּ כְרָמִ֑ים וַ֝יַּעֲשׂ֗וּ פְּרִ֣י תְבוּאָֽה ׃
καὶ ἔσπειραν ἀγροὺς καὶ ἐφύτευσαν ἀμπελῶνας καὶ ἐποίησαν καρπὸν γενήματος
et seminaverunt agros et plantaverunt vineas , et fecerunt fructum nativitatis .
ወዘርዑ ፡ ገራውሀ ፡ ወተከሉ ፡ ወይነ ፤ ወገብሩ ፡ ማእረረ ፡ እክል ።
sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.
107:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְבָרְכֵ֣ם וַיִּרְבּ֣וּ מְאֹ֑ד וּ֝בְהֶמְתָּ֗ם לֹ֣א יַמְעִֽיט ׃
καὶ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς καὶ ἐπληθύνθησαν σφόδρα καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐσμίκρυνεν
Et benedixit eis , et multiplicati sunt nimis ; et jumenta eorum non minoravit .
ወባረኮሙ ፡ ወበዝኁ ፡ ፈድፋደ ፤ ወኢያውኀደ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ እንስሳሆሙ ።
He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.
107:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּמְעֲט֥וּ וַיָּשֹׁ֑חוּ מֵעֹ֖צֶר רָעָ֣ה וְיָגֽוֹן ׃
καὶ ὠλιγώθησαν καὶ ἐκακώθησαν ἀπὸ θλίψεως κακῶν καὶ ὀδύνης
Et pauci facti sunt et vexati sunt , a tribulatione malorum et dolore .
ወደወዩ ፡ ወውኅዱ ፤ በሕማም ፡ እኩይ ፡ ወበጻዕር ።
Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
107:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ ׆ שֹׁפֵ֣ךְ בּ֭וּז עַל ־נְדִיבִ֑ים וַ֝יַּתְעֵ֗ם בְּתֹ֣הוּ לֹא ־דָֽרֶךְ ׃
ἐξεχύθη ἐξουδένωσις ἐπ’ ἄρχοντας καὶ ἐπλάνησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν ἀβάτῳ καὶ οὐχ ὁδῷ
Effusa est contemptio super principes : et errare fecit eos in invio , et non in via .
ወተክዕወ ፡ ኀሳር ፡ ዲበ ፡ መላእክት ፤ ወአስሐቶሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በድው ፡ ዘኢኮነ ፡ ፍኖተ ።
He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.
107:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְשַׂגֵּ֣ב אֶבְי֣וֹן מֵע֑וֹנִי וַיָּ֥שֶׂם כַּ֝צֹּ֗אן מִשְׁפָּחֽוֹת ׃
καὶ ἐβοήθησεν πένητι ἐκ πτωχείας καὶ ἔθετο ὡς πρόβατα πατριάς
Et adjuvit pauperem de inopia , et posuit sicut oves familias .
ወረድኦ ፡ ለነዳይ ፡ በተጽናሱ ፤ ወረሰዮ ፡ ከመ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ብሔር ።
Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.
107:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִרְא֣וּ יְשָׁרִ֣ים וְיִשְׂמָ֑חוּ וְכׇל ־עַ֝וְלָ֗ה קָ֣פְצָה פִּֽיהָ ׃
ὄψονται εὐθεῖς καὶ εὐφρανθήσονται καὶ πᾶσα ἀνομία ἐμφράξει τὸ στόμα αὐτῆς
Videbunt recti , et laetabuntur ; et omnis iniquitas oppilabit os suum .
ይርአዩ ፡ ራትዓን ፡ ወይትፌሥሑ ፤ ወትትፈፀም ፡ አፉሃ ፡ ኵላ ፡ ዐመፃ ።
The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
107:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִי ־חָכָ֥ם וְיִשְׁמׇר ־אֵ֑לֶּה וְ֝יִתְבּוֹנְנ֗וּ חַֽסְדֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
τίς σοφὸς καὶ φυλάξει ταῦτα καὶ συνήσουσιν τὰ ἐλέη τοῦ κυρίου
Quis sapiens , et custodiet haec , et intelliget misericordias Domini ?
መኑ ፡ ጠቢብ ፡ ዘየዐቅቦ ፡ ለዝ ፤ ወያአምር ፡ ከመ ፡ መሓሪ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.
