50:1
מִזְמ֗וֹר לְאָ֫סָ֥ף אֵ֤ל׀ אֱֽלֹהִ֡ים יְֽהֹוָ֗ה דִּבֶּ֥ר וַיִּקְרָא־אָ֑רֶץ מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֝֗מֶשׁ עַד־מְבֹאֽוֹ׃
ψαλμὸς τῷ Ασαφ θεὸς θεῶν κύριος ἐλάλησεν καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὴν γῆν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου καὶ μέχρι δυσμῶν
Psalmus Asaph. Deus deorum Dominus locutus est, et vocavit terram a solis ortu usque ad occasum.
—
The Mighty One, God, Yahweh, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
50:2
מִצִּיּ֥וֹן מִכְלַל־יֹ֗פִי אֱלֹהִ֥ים הוֹפִֽיעַ׃
ἐκ Σιων ἡ εὐπρέπεια τῆς ὡραιότητος αὐτοῦ ὁ θεὸς ἐμφανῶς ἥξει
Ex Sion species decoris ejus :
—
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
50:3
יָ֤בֹ֥א אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְֽאַל־יֶ֫חֱרַ֥שׁ אֵשׁ־לְפָנָ֥יו תֹּאכֵ֑ל וּ֝סְבִיבָ֗יו נִשְׂעֲרָ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃
ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν καὶ οὐ παρασιωπήσεται πῦρ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ καυθήσεται καὶ κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ καταιγὶς σφόδρα
Deus manifeste veniet ; Deus noster, et non silebit. Ignis in conspectu ejus exardescet ; et in circuitu ejus tempestas valida.
—
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
50:4
יִקְרָ֣א אֶל־הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם מֵעָ֑ל וְאֶל־הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ לָדִ֥ין עַמּֽוֹ׃
προσκαλέσεται τὸν οὐρανὸν ἄνω καὶ τὴν γῆν διακρῖναι τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ
Advocabit caelum desursum, et terram, discernere populum suum.
ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘደቂቀ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ። አምላከ ፡ አማልክት ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነበበ ፡ ወጸውዓ ፡ ለምድር ፤
He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:
50:5
אִסְפוּ־לִ֥י חֲסִידָ֑י כֹּרְתֵ֖י בְרִיתִ֣י עֲלֵי־זָֽבַח׃
συναγάγετε αὐτῷ τοὺς ὁσίους αὐτοῦ τοὺς διατιθεμένους τὴν διαθήκην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ θυσίαις
Congregate illi sanctos ejus, qui ordinant testamentum ejus super sacrificia.
እምሥራቀ ፡ ፀሓይ ፡ እስከነ ፡ ዐረብ ። ወእምጽዮን ፡ ሥነ ፡ ስብሐቲሁ ፡
“Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
50:6
וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ שָׁמַ֣יִם צִדְק֑וֹ כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֓ים׀ שֹׁפֵ֖ט ה֣וּא סֶֽלָה׃
καὶ ἀναγγελοῦσιν οἱ οὐρανοὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ ὅτι ὁ θεὸς κριτής ἐστιν διάψαλμα
Et annuntiabunt caeli justitiam ejus, quoniam Deus judex est.
እግዚአብሔርሰ ፡ ገሀደ ፡ ይመጽእ ፡ ወአምላክነሂ ፡ ኢያረምም ፤
The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah.
50:7
שִׁמְעָ֤ה עַמִּ֨י׀ וַאֲדַבֵּ֗רָה יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל וְאָעִ֣ידָה בָּ֑ךְ אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֱלֹהֶ֣יךָ אָנֹֽכִי׃
ἄκουσον λαός μου καὶ λαλήσω σοι Ισραηλ καὶ διαμαρτύρομαί σοι ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεός σού εἰμι ἐγώ
Audi, populus meus, et loquar ; Israël, et testificabor tibi : Deus, Deus tuus ego sum.
እሳት ፡ ይነድድ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ወዐውድዶሂ ፡ ዐውሎ ፡ ብዙኅ ።
“Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
50:8
לֹ֣א עַל־זְ֭בָחֶיךָ אוֹכִיחֶ֑ךָ וְעוֹלֹתֶ֖יךָ לְנֶגְדִּ֣י תָמִֽיד׃
οὐκ ἐπὶ ταῖς θυσίαις σου ἐλέγξω σε τὰ δὲ ὁλοκαυτώματά σου ἐνώπιόν μού ἐστιν διὰ παντός
Non in sacrificiis tuis arguam te ; holocausta autem tua in conspectu meo sunt semper.
ይጼውዓ ፡ ለሰማይ ፡ በላዕሉ ፤ ወለምድርኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኰንን ፡ ሕዝቦ ።
I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
50:9
לֹא־אֶקַּ֣ח מִבֵּיתְךָ֣ פָ֑ר מִ֝מִּכְלְאֹתֶ֗יךָ עַתּוּדִֽים׃
οὐ δέξομαι ἐκ τοῦ οἴκου σου μόσχους οὐδὲ ἐκ τῶν ποιμνίων σου χιμάρους
Non accipiam de domo tua vitulos, neque de gregibus tuis hircos :
አስተጋብኡ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ጻድቃኑ ፤ እለ ፡ ይገብሩ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ዘበሕጉ ።
I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
50:10
כִּי־לִ֥י כׇל־חַיְתוֹ־יָ֑עַר בְּ֝הֵמ֗וֹת בְּהַרְרֵי־אָֽלֶף׃
ὅτι ἐμά ἐστιν πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ δρυμοῦ κτήνη ἐν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ βόες
quoniam meae sunt omnes ferae silvarum, jumenta in montibus, et boves.
ይነግራ ፡ ሰማያት ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ዚአሁ ፤ እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መኰንን ፡ ውእቱ ።
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
50:11
יָ֭דַעְתִּי כׇּל־ע֣וֹף הָרִ֑ים וְזִ֥יז שָׂ֝דַ֗י עִמָּדִֽי׃
ἔγνωκα πάντα τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ὡραιότης ἀγροῦ μετ’ ἐμοῦ ἐστιν
Cognovi omnia volatilia caeli, et pulchritudo agri mecum est.
ስምዐኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ወእንግርከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወኣሰምዕ ፡ ለከ ፤ አምላክከሰ ፡ አምላክ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ።
I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
50:12
אִם־אֶ֭רְעַב לֹא־אֹ֣מַר לָ֑ךְ כִּי־לִ֥י תֵ֝בֵ֗ל וּמְלֹאָֽהּ׃
ἐὰν πεινάσω οὐ μή σοι εἴπω ἐμὴ γάρ ἐστιν ἡ οἰκουμένη καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς
Si esuriero, non dicam tibi : meus est enim orbis terrae et plenitudo ejus.
አኮ ፡ በእንተ ፡ መሥዋዕትከ ፡ ዘእዛለፈከ ፤ ወቍርባንከኒ ፡ ቅድሜየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ።
If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
50:13
הַ֭אוֹכַל בְּשַׂ֣ר אַבִּירִ֑ים וְדַ֖ם עַתּוּדִ֣ים אֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃
μὴ φάγομαι κρέα ταύρων ἢ αἷμα τράγων πίομαι
Numquid manducabo carnes taurorum ? aut sanguinem hircorum potabo ?
ኢይነሥእ ፡ አልህምተ ፡ እምቤትከ ፤ ወኢሐራጊት ፡ እመርዔትከ ።
Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
50:14
זְבַ֣ח לֵאלֹהִ֣ים תּוֹדָ֑ה וְשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְעֶלְי֣וֹן נְדָרֶֽיךָ׃
θῦσον τῷ θεῷ θυσίαν αἰνέσεως καὶ ἀπόδος τῷ ὑψίστῳ τὰς εὐχάς σου
Immola Deo sacrificium laudis, et redde Altissimo vota tua.
እስመ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አራዊት ፡ ዘገዳም ፤ እንስሳ ፡ ገዳምኒ ፡ ወአልህምት ።
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
50:15
וּ֭קְרָאֵנִי בְּי֣וֹם צָרָ֑ה אֲ֝חַלֶּצְךָ֗ וּֽתְכַבְּדֵֽנִי׃
καὶ ἐπικάλεσαί με ἐν ἡμέρᾳ θλίψεως καὶ ἐξελοῦμαί σε καὶ δοξάσεις με διάψαλμα
Et invoca me in die tribulationis : eruam te, et honorificabis me.
ወኣአምር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ አዕዋፈ ፡ ሰማይ ፤ ወሥነ ፡ ገዳምኒ ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ሀሎ ።
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
50:16
וְלָ֤רָשָׁ֨ע׀ אָ֘מַ֤ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים מַה־לְּ֭ךָ לְסַפֵּ֣ר חֻקָּ֑י וַתִּשָּׂ֖א בְרִיתִ֣י עֲלֵי־פִֽיךָ׃
τῷ δὲ ἁμαρτωλῷ εἶπεν ὁ θεός ἵνα τί σὺ διηγῇ τὰ δικαιώματά μου καὶ ἀναλαμβάνεις τὴν διαθήκην μου διὰ στόματός σου
Peccatori autem dixit Deus : Quare tu enarras justitias meas ? et assumis testamentum meum per os tuum ?
እመኒ ፡ ርኀብኩ ፡ ኢይስእለከ ፤ እስመ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዓለም ፡ በምልኡ ።
But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
50:17
וְ֭אַתָּה שָׂנֵ֣אתָ מוּסָ֑ר וַתַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ דְּבָרַ֣י אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃
σὺ δὲ ἐμίσησας παιδείαν καὶ ἐξέβαλες τοὺς λόγους μου εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω
Tu vero odisti disciplinam, et projecisti sermones meos retrorsum.
ኢይበልዕ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ላህም ፤ ወኢይሰቲ ፡ ደመ ፡ ጠሊ ።
since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
50:18
אִם־רָאִ֣יתָ גַ֭נָּב וַתִּ֣רֶץ עִמּ֑וֹ וְעִ֖ם מְנָאֲפִ֣ים חֶלְקֶֽךָ׃
εἰ ἐθεώρεις κλέπτην συνέτρεχες αὐτῷ καὶ μετὰ μοιχῶν τὴν μερίδα σου ἐτίθεις
Si videbas furem, currebas cum eo ; et cum adulteris portionem tuam ponebas.
ሡዕ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ስብሐት ፤ ወሀቦ ፡ ለልዑል ፡ ጸሎተከ ።
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
50:19
פִּ֭יךָ שָׁלַ֣חְתָּ בְרָעָ֑ה וּ֝לְשׁוֹנְךָ֗ תַּצְמִ֥יד מִרְמָֽה׃
τὸ στόμα σου ἐπλεόνασεν κακίαν καὶ ἡ γλῶσσά σου περιέπλεκεν δολιότητα
Os tuum abundavit malitia, et lingua tua concinnabat dolos.
ትጼውዐኒ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ መንዳቤከ ፡ ኣድኅነከ ፡ ወታአኵተኒ ።
“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
50:20
תֵּ֭שֵׁב בְּאָחִ֣יךָ תְדַבֵּ֑ר בְּבֶֽן־אִ֝מְּךָ֗ תִּתֶּן־דֹּֽפִי׃
καθήμενος κατὰ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ σου κατελάλεις καὶ κατὰ τοῦ υἱοῦ τῆς μητρός σου ἐτίθεις σκάνδαλον
Sedens adversus fratrem tuum loquebaris, et adversus filium matris tuae ponebas scandalum.
ወለኃጥእሰ ፡ ይቤሉ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለምንት ፡ ለከ ፡ ትነግር ፡ ሕግየ ፤ ወትነሥእ ፡ በአፉከ ፡ ሥርዕትየ ።
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
50:21
אֵ֤לֶּה עָשִׂ֨יתָ׀ וְֽהֶחֱרַ֗שְׁתִּי דִּמִּ֗יתָ הֱיֽוֹת־אֶהְיֶ֥ה כָמ֑וֹךָ אוֹכִיחֲךָ֖ וְאֶעֶרְכָ֣ה לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃
ταῦτα ἐποίησας καὶ ἐσίγησα ὑπέλαβες ἀνομίαν ὅτι ἔσομαί σοι ὅμοιος ἐλέγξω σε καὶ παραστήσω κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου
Haec fecisti, et tacui. Existimasti inique quod ero tui similis : arguam te, et statuam contra faciem tuam.
ወአንተሰ ፡ ጸላእከ ፡ ተግሣጽየ ፤ ወአግባእከ ፡ ድኅሬከ ፡ ቃልየ ።
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
50:22
בִּינוּ־נָ֣א זֹ֭את שֹׁכְחֵ֣י אֱל֑וֹהַּ פֶּן־אֶ֝טְרֹ֗ף וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּֽיל׃
σύνετε δὴ ταῦτα οἱ ἐπιλανθανόμενοι τοῦ θεοῦ μήποτε ἁρπάσῃ καὶ μὴ ᾖ ὁ ῥυόμενος
Intelligite haec, qui obliviscimini Deum, nequando rapiat, et non sit qui eripiat.
እመኒ ፡ ርኢከ ፡ ሰራቄ ፡ ትረውጽ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፤ ወረሰይከ ፡ መክፈልተከ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ዘማውያን ።
“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
50:23
זֹבֵ֥חַ תּוֹדָ֗ה יְֽכַ֫בְּדָ֥נְנִי וְשָׂ֥ם דֶּ֑רֶךְ אַ֝רְאֶ֗נּוּ בְּיֵ֣שַׁע אֱלֹהִֽים׃ {פ}
θυσία αἰνέσεως δοξάσει με καὶ ἐκεῖ ὁδός ᾗ δείξω αὐτῷ τὸ σωτήριον τοῦ θεοῦ
Sacrificium laudis honorificabit me, et illic iter quo ostendam illi salutare Dei.
አፉከ ፡ አብዝኃ ፡ ለእኪት ፤ ወልሳንከ ፡ ፀፈራ ፡ ለሕብል ። ትነብር ፡ ወተሐምዮ ፡ ለእኁከ ፤ ወአንበርከ ፡ ዕቅፍተ ፡ ለወልደ ፡ እምከ ። ዝንተ ፡ ገቢረክ ፡ አርመምኩ ፡ ለከ ፡ አደመተከኒ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ሐዘብከኑ ፡ እኩን ፡ ከማከ ፤ እዛለፍከኑ ፡ ወእቁም ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ገጽከ ። ለብዉ ፡ ዘንተ ፤ ኵልክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ትረስዕዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ወእመአኮሰ ፡ ይመስጥ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘያድኅን ። መሥዋዕት ፡ ክብርት ፡ ትሴብሐኒ ፤ ህየ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ እንተ ፡ ባቲ ፡ አርአየ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አድኅኖቶ ።
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
