3:1
ወለከሰ
But for you He created only one thought, that you might give Him perfect praise while you remained where your Creator had sent you.
但祂只為你造了一樣心思，叫你在造你之主所差你去的地方，向祂獻上完全的讚美。
3:2
ወለአድምሰ፡ ትውህቡ
But to Adam were given five evil thoughts and five good thoughts—ten thoughts in all.
至於亞當，他得了五樣惡的心思和五樣善的心思——共十樣心思。
3:3
ወካዕበ፡ ቦሙ፡ ተሐዋስያን፡ ሕሊናተ፡ ከመ፡ ሞገዳተ፡ ባሕር፡ ወከመ፡ ነፋስ፡ ዓውሎ፡ ዘይነሥእ፡ ፀበለ፡ እምነ፡ ምድር፡ ወከመ፡ ሞገደ፡ ባሕር፡ ዘይዘብጣ፡ ነፋስ፡ ወከመ፡ ነጠብጣበ፡ ዝናም፡ ዘኢይትኋለቍ፡ ከማሁ፡ ሕሊናሁ፡ ለአዳም፡ እምብዝኃ፡ ሕሊናተ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ልቡ፡ ዘኢይትኋለቍ።
And moreover he has thoughts that move like the waves of the sea, and like a whirlwind that lifts the dust from the earth, and like the waves of the sea that the wind strikes, and like raindrops that cannot be numbered; even so are the thoughts of Adam, out of the multitude of thoughts within his heart that cannot be counted.
並且他還有許多心思，像海中的波浪起伏，像旋風從地上捲起塵土，像被風拍打的海浪，又像數不盡的雨點；亞當的心思也是如此，是從他心中那數不盡、無法計算的眾多心思而出。
3:4
ወለከሰ፡ አሐቲ፡ ሕሊና፡ ወአልቦ፡ ባዕድ፡ እስመ፡ ኢኮንከ፡ ዘሥጋ።
But you have only one thought and no other, for you are not of flesh.
但你只有一樣心思，沒有別的，因為你不是屬血肉的。
3:5
ወአንተሰ፡ አማሰንኮ፡ ለዘ
But you dwelt in the heart of the serpent, and with evil cunning you ruined Adam, who was a single body. And Eve heard the words of the serpent, and having heard, she did as she was bidden.
你卻住在蛇的心裡，用惡毒的詭計毀了亞當，他本是單純的一身。夏娃聽了蛇的話，聽了以後就照那話所慫恿的去行。
3:6
ወመጽአተ፡ ወአስሐተቶ፡ ለቀዳማዊ፡ ልሕኵቱ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ በበሊዓ፡ ዕፅ፡ ወአምጽአት፡ ሞተ፡ ላዕሌሃ፡ ወላዕለ፡ ደቂቃ፡ በእንተ፡ ዘተዓደወት፡ ትእዛዘ፡ ፈጣሪሃ።
And she came and led astray the first handiwork of God, Adam, by eating of the tree; and she brought death upon herself and upon her children, because she transgressed the commandment of her Creator.
她藉著喫那樹上的果子，去引誘了神的第一個手工亞當；她又把死亡帶到自己和她子孫身上，因為她干犯了她造物主的誡命。
3:7
ወበኵነኔ፡ ጽድቁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወጽኡ፡ እምገነት፡ ወኢያርኃቆሙ፡ ተባኢሶ፡ እምገነት፡ አላ፡ ናዘዞሙ፡ በምድር፡ እንተ፡ ሰደዶሙ፡ በውሉዶሙ፡ ወበፍሬ፡ ከርሦሙ፡ ወበፍሬ፡ ምድሮሙ።
And by the righteous judgment of God they went out from the garden; yet He did not utterly remove them in His contention from the garden, but comforted them in the land to which He sent them—through their children, through the fruit of their womb, and through the fruit of their soil.
他們照神公義的審判從園中出去了；神在祂的爭辯中卻沒有把他們從園子全然趕絕，反倒在祂所打發他們去的地上安慰他們，藉著他們的兒女、他們腹中的果子，以及他們土地的出產。
3:8
ወሶበ፡ አውፃዕካሆሙ፡ በቅንዓት፡ እምገነት፡ ወሀቦሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምዕፀ፡ ገነት፡ ሐመልሚላተ፡ ሰበዎተ፡ ከመ፡ ይትከሉ፡ ወይትናዘዙ፡ በፍሬ፡ ገነት፡ ወበፍሬሃ፡ ለምድር፡ ዘወሀቦሙ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
And when you had cast them out from the garden in your envy, God gave them green herbs and plants from the trees of the garden, that they might plant and be comforted by the fruit of the garden and by the fruit of the earth that God gave them—
你既在嫉妒中把他們從園子裡趕出去，神就把園中樹上青翠的枝葉和植物賜給他們，叫他們可以栽種，並藉園中的果子和神所賜地上的出產得安慰——
3:9
ከመ፡ ይትናዘዙ፡ ወየሐደሱ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ በርእየ፡ ውሉደ፡ ወበርእየ፡ ገነት፡ ወበፍሬሃ፡ ለምድር፡ ዘአብቈለት፡ ምድረ፡ እምሐመድ፡ ወሶበ፡ ይበልዑ፡ ኪያሁ፡ ይትናዘዙ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ እምኃዘን፡ እንተ፡ አውፃዕካሆሙ፡ እምገነተ።
that they might be comforted and greatly renew their hearts in beholding their children, and in beholding the garden, and in the fruit of the earth, which the earth brought forth from the dust; and when they ate of it, they were greatly comforted from the sorrow into which you had cast them when you drove them from the garden.
叫他們得安慰，並因看見自己的兒女、看見園子和地上的出產，就是地從塵土中所生長的，大大更新他們的心；他們喫這些的時候，就大得安慰，脫離了你把他們趕出園子時所投入的憂傷。
3:10
ወይትናዘዙ፡ በአልባቢሆሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ውሉድ፡ ወበፍሬ፡ ምድር፡ እስመ፡ የአምር፡ እግዚ፡ አብሔር፡ ናዝዞ፡ ልሕኵቱ።
And they were comforted in their hearts because of their children and the fruit of the earth; for God knows how to comfort His handiwork.
他們因兒女和地上的出產，心裡得了安慰；因為神知道怎樣安慰祂的手工。
3:11
ወይሔድስ፡ ልቦሙበእክል፡ ወበማይ፡ እስመ፡ ሰዱዳነ፡ ኮኑ፡ ውስተ፡ ዛቲ፡ ምድረ፡ ሦክ፡ ወአሜከላ።
And He renewed their hearts with bread and water, for they had been cast out into this land of thorns and thistles.
祂用糧食和水更新他們的心，因為他們被趕到這長荊棘蒺藜的地上。
