2:1

ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእነተ፡ ሠላስ፡ ኃጢአተ፡ ሞአብ፡ ወበእንተ፡ አርባዕ፡ ኢይተመየቶሙ፡ እስመ፡ አውዐዩ፡ አዕፅምቲሁ፡ ለንጉሠ፡ ኤዶምያ፡ ለግምስስ።

Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;

耶和華如此說：摩押三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她將以東王的骸骨焚燒成灰。

2:2

ወእፌኑ፡ እሳ፡ ላዕለ፡ ሞአብ፡ ዋትበልዕ፡ መሠረታ፡ አህጉሪሃ። ወትመውት፡ ሞአብ፡ በድከም፡ ወበውውዓ፡ ወበቃለ፡ ቀርን።

but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

我卻要降火在摩押，燒滅加略的宮殿。摩押必在鬨嚷吶喊吹角之中死亡。

2:3

ወእሤርዎሙ፡ ለመኳንንቲሃ፡ ወለኲሎሙ፡ መላእክቲሃ፡ ምስሌሃ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር።

and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says Yahweh.

我必剪除摩押中的審判者，將其中的一切首領和他一同殺戮。這是耶和華說的。

2:4

ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእነተ፡ ሠላስ፡ ሃጢአቶሙ፡ ለደቂቀ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወበእነተ፡ አርቦዕ፡ ኢይትመየጦሙ፡ እስመ፡ ዐለው፡ ህገ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢዐቀቡ፡ ትእዛዞ፡ ወስሐቶሙ፡ ከንቶሆሙ፡ ዘገብሩ፡ ወአበዊሆሙኒ፡ ተለው፡ ድኀሬሆሙ።

Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected Yahweh’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;

耶和華如此說：猶大人三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去他們的刑罰；因為他們厭棄耶和華的訓誨，不遵守他的律例。他們列祖所隨從虛假的偶像使他們走迷了。

2:5

ወእፌኑ፡ እሳተ፡ ላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወትበልዕለ፡ መሠረተቲሓ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም።

but I will send a fire on Judah, and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”

我卻要降火在猶大，燒滅耶路撒冷的宮殿。

2:6

ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሑር፡ ላዕለ፡ ሠላስ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወላዕለ፡ አርባዕ፡ ኢይትመየቶሙ፡ እስመ፡ ሤጡ፡ ጻድቀ፡ በወርቅ፡ ወነዳየ፡ በእንተ፡ አሣእንን።

Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;

耶和華如此說：以色列人三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去他們的刑罰；因他們為銀子賣了義人，為一雙鞋賣了窮人。

2:7

በዘ፡ ይከይዱ፡ ምድረ፡ ወይኮርዑ፡ አርእሰተ፡ ነዳያን። ወይመይጡ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ምስኪናን፡ አብ፡ ወወልድ፡ ብኡ፡ ኀበ፡ አሀቲ፡ ብእሲት፡ ከመ፡ ያርኲሱ፡ ስመ፡ እምላኮሙ።

They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.

他們見窮人頭上所蒙的灰也都垂涎，阻礙謙卑人的道路。父子同一個女子行淫，褻瀆我的聖名。

2:8

ወየአስሩ፡ አልባሲሆሙ፡ ወይገብሩ፡ መንቶላዕተ፡ ውስተ፡ ምሥዋዕ፡ ወይሰትዩ፡ ወይነ፡ ትዕግልተ፡ በቤተ፡ አምላኮሙ።

They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

他們在各壇旁鋪人所當的衣服，臥在其上，又在他們神的廟中喝受罰之人的酒。

2:9

ወአንሰ፡ አጥፋእክዎ፡ ለአሞራዎን፡ እምቅድሜሆሙ፡ ዘኑኀ፡ ከአውልዕ፡ መአጥፋእኩ፡ ፍሬሁ፡ አምላሌሁ፡ ወሥርዎሂ፡ በታህቴሁ።

Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

我從以色列人面前除滅亞摩利人。他雖高大如香柏樹，堅固如橡樹，我卻上滅他的果子，下絕他的根本。
