3:1
ወእመሰ ተንሣእክሙ ምስለ ክርስቶስ ዘላዕሉ ኅሡ ኀበ ሀሎ ክርስቶስ በየማነ እግዚአብሔር ይነብር።
If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
所以，你們若真與基督一同復活，就當求在上面的事；那裏有基督坐在上帝的右邊。
3:2
ዘላዕሉ ኀልዩ ወአኮ ዘበምድር።
Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
你們要思念上面的事，不要思念地上的事。
3:3
እስመ ወዳእክሙ ሞትክሙ ወኅብእት ሕይወትክሙ ምስለ ክርስቶስ በኀበ እግዚአብሔር።
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
因為你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在上帝裏面。
3:4
ወአመ ይመጽእ ክርስቶስ ይትዐወቅ ሕይወትክሙ ይእተ አሚረ ታስተርእዩ ምስሌሁ በስብሐት ዐቢይ።
When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.
基督是我們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同顯現在榮耀裏。
3:5
አሙትዎ ለነፍስትክሙ ዘዲበ ምድር እምዝሙት ወርኵስ ወመንሱት ወፍትወት እኪት ወትዕግልት ዘውእቱ አምልኮ ጣዖት።
Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
所以，要治死你們在地上的肢體，就如淫亂、污穢、邪情、惡慾，和貪婪（貪婪就與拜偶像一樣）。
3:6
ዘበእንቲኣሁ ይመጽእ መቅሠፍተ እግዚአብሔር ላዕለ ውሉድ ዐላውያን።
For these things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
因這些事，上帝的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
3:7
ዘቦቱ ሖርክሙ አንትሙሂ ትካት አመ ሐየውክሙ በዝንቱ ግብር።
You also once walked in those, when you lived in them,
當你們在這些事中活着的時候，也曾這樣行過。
3:8
ወይእዜሰ ኅድግዋ ለመዓት ወለቍጥዓ ወለእከይ ወለፅርፈት ወለነገረ ኀፍረት ወነገረ ከንቱ ኢይፃእ እምአፉክሙ።
but now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.
但現在你們要棄絕這一切的事，以及惱恨、忿怒、惡毒 、毀謗，並口中污穢的言語。
3:9
ወኢተሐስዉ ቢጸክሙ ዳእሙ ኅድግዎ ለብሉይ ብእሲ ምስለ እኩይ ምግባሩ።
Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,
不要彼此說謊；因你們已經脫去舊人和舊人的行為，
3:10
ወልበስዎ ለሐዲስ ብእሲ ዘይትሔደስ በአእምሮ አምሳለ ፈጣሪሁ።
and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
穿上了新人。這新人在知識上漸漸更新，正如造他主的形像。
3:11
ዘአልቦ በኀቤሁ አይሁዳዊ ወኢአረማዊ ኢግዙር ወኢቈላፍ ኢሐቃል ወኢሀገሪት ኢነባሪ ወኢአግዓዚ ዘእንበለ በኵሉ ወበኀበ ኵሉ ክርስቶስ።
where there can’t be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, or free person; but Christ is all, and in all.
在此並不分希臘人、猶太人，受割禮的、未受割禮的，化外人、西古提人，為奴的、自主的，惟有基督是包括一切，又住在各人之內。
3:12
ልበስዎ እንከ ከመ ኅሩያነ እግዚአብሔር ቅዱሳን ወፍቁራን በምሕረት ወበተሣህሎ ወበኂሩት ወትሑት ልብ በየውሀት ወበትዕግሥት።
Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;
所以，你們既是上帝的選民，聖潔蒙愛的人，就要存 憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。
3:13
ጹርዎሙ ለቢጽክሙ ወተጻገዉ በበይናቲክሙ ኅድጉ ለቢጽክሙ ዘተሓየስክምዎሙ ከመ ክርስቶስ ጸገወክሙ ከማሁ አንትሙሂ ግበሩ።
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此包容，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。
3:14
ወምስለ ዝንቱ ኵሉ ተፋቀሩ ዘልፈ እስመ ማእሰረ ተፍጻሜቱ ውእቱ።
Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
在這一切之外，要存着愛心，愛心就是聯絡全德的。
3:15
ወሰላሙ ለክርስቶስ ይጽናዕ በልብክሙ ዘሎቱ ተጸዋዕክሙ በአሐዱ ሥጋ ወሀልዉ በአኰቴተ ክርስቶስ።
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
又要叫基督的平安在你們心裏作主；你們也為此蒙召，歸為一體；且要存感謝的心。
3:16
ወአንብቡ መዝሙረ ወስብሐተ ወማኅሌተ ቅድሳት ወቃለ እግዚአብሔር ይጽናዕ በኀቤክሙ ከመ ትብዐሉ በኵሉ ጥበብ ወመሀሩ ነፍሰክሙ ወገሥጹ በመንፈስ ዘምሩ ለእግዚአብሔር በልብክሙ።
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.
當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏 ，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌上帝。
3:17
ወኵሎ ዘገበርክሙ በስመ እግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ አእኵትዎ ለእግዚአብሔር አብ በእንቲኣሁ።
Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
無論做甚麼，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉着他感謝父上帝。
3:18
ወአንስትኒ ተአዘዛ ለአምታቲክን ከመ ዘለእግዚአብሔር።
Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，這在主裏面是相宜的。
3:19
ዕደውኒ አፍቅሩ አንስቲያክሙ ወኢትግአዝዎን።
Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them.
你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，不可苦待她們。
3:20
ውሉድኒ ተአዘዙ ለአዝማዲክሙ በኵሉ እስመ ከማሁ ርቱዕ ወይሠምር እግዚአብሔር።
Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.
你們作兒女的，要凡事聽從父母，因為這是主所喜悅的。
3:21
አበውኒ ኢታስተቍጥዑ ውሉደክሙ ከመ ኢይኅዝኑ።
Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so that they won’t be discouraged.
你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，恐怕他們失了志氣。
3:22
ነባሪኒ ተአዘዙ ለአጋእዝትክሙ በስፉሕ ልብ ወአኮ በአድልዎ ለገጸ ሰብእ አላ በፍርሀተ እግዚአብሔር።
Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.
你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人，不要只在眼前事奉，像是討人喜歡的，總要存心誠實敬畏主。
3:23
ተአምሩ ከመ እምኀበ እግዚአብሔር ትትዐሰዩ እስመ ለክርስቶስ ትትቀነዩ።
And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
無論做甚麼，都要從心裏做，像是給主做的，不是給人做的，
