5:1
ተመሰሉ በእግዚአብሔር ከመ ውሉድ ፍቁራን።
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
所以，你們該效法上帝，好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣。
5:2
ወሑሩ በተፋቅሮ በከመ አፍቀረክሙ ክርስቶስ ወመጠወ ርእሶ በእንቲኣክሙ መሥዋዕተ ወቍርባነ ለእግዚአብሔር ለመዓዛ ሠናይ።
Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與上帝。
5:3
ወዝሙትሰ ወኵሉ ርኵስ ወትዕግልት ኢይሰማዕ በላዕሌክሙ በከመ ይደልዎሙ ለቅዱሳን።
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;
至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。
5:4
ወኢነገረ ኀፍርት ወነገረ እበድ ወነገረ ሥላቅ ዘኢይደሉ ዘእንበለ ዳእሙ አእኵቶ ህየንተ ዝ እኩይ።
nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.
淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。
5:5
ወዘንተ አእምሩ ከመ ኵሉ ዘማዊ ወርኩስ ወመስተዐግል ወዘያጣዑ አልቦ መክፈልት ውስተ መንግሥተ ክርስቶስ ዘእግዚአብሔር።
Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
因為你們確實地知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和上帝的國裏都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。
5:6
ወአልቦ ዘያስሕተክሙ በነገረ ከንቱ እስመ በእንቲኣሁ ይመጽእ መዓተ እግዚአብሔር ላዕለ ውሉደ ዐላውያን።
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
不要被人虛浮的話欺哄；因這些事，上帝的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
5:7
ኢትትመሰልዎሙኬ
Therefore don’t be partakers with them.
所以，你們不要與他們同夥。
5:8
እስመ ትካት ጽልመት አንትሙ ወይእዜሰ ብርሃነ ኮንክሙ በእግዚእነ።
For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
從前你們是暗昧的，但如今在主裏面是光明的，行事為人就當像光明的子女。
5:9
ከመ ውሉደ ብርሃን ሑሩ እንከሰ እስመ ፍሬሁ ለብርሃን ኵሉ ምግባረ ሠናይ ወጽድቅ ወርትዕ።
for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
5:10
ወአመክሩ ዘያሠምሮ ለእግዚአብሔር።
proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.
總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
5:11
ወኢትኅበሩ ምስለ እለ አልቦሙ ፍሬ ምግባር ዘጽልመት ኵለንታሆሙ አላ ገሥጽዎሙ።
Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
那暗昧無益的事，不要與人同行，倒要責備行這事的人；
5:12
እስመ ዘበጽሚት ይገብሩ ኀፍረት ለነጊር።
For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
因為他們暗中所行的，就是提起來也是可恥的。
5:13
ወዘሰ ክሡት ኵሉ ውስተ ብርሃን ይትዐወቅ እስመ ኵሉ ዘገሃድ ብርሃን ውእቱ።
But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
凡事受了責備，就被光顯明出來，因為一切能顯明的就是光。
5:14
እስመ ይቤ ንቃህ ዘትነውም ወተንሥእ እሙታን ወያበርህ ለከ ክርስቶስ።
Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
所以主說： 你這睡着的人當醒過來， 從死裏復活！ 基督就要光照你了。
5:15
ዑቁ እንከ ዘከመ ተሐውሩ ከመ ጠቢባን በንጽሕ ወአኮ ከመ አብዳን።
Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
你們要謹慎行事，不要像愚昧人，當像智慧人。
5:16
እንዘ ታነሐስይዎ ለዝ ዓለም እስመ እኩይ መዋዕሊሁ።
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
要愛惜光陰，因為現今的世代邪惡。
5:17
በእንተ ዝንቱ ኢትኩኑ አብዳነ አላ ኀልዩ ፈቃደ እግዚአብሔር።
Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。
5:18
ወኢትስክሩ ወይነ እስመ ምርዓት ውእቱ አላ ምልኡ መንፈሰ ቅዱሰ።
Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被聖靈充滿。
5:19
ወአንበቡ መዝሙረ ወስብሐተ ወማኅሌተ ቅድሳት ሰብሑ ወዘምሩ ለእግዚአብሔር በልብክሙ።
speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。
5:20
ወአእኵቱ ዘልፈ በእንተ ኵሉ በስመ እግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ለእግዚአብሔር አብ።
giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父上帝。
5:21
አትሕቱ ርእሰክሙ ለቢጽክሙ በፍርሀተ እግዚአብሔር።
subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
又當存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服。
5:22
ወአንስትኒ ይትአዘዛ ለአምታቲሆን ከመ ዘለእግዚእነ።
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主。
5:23
እስመ ብእሲ ርእሳ ለብእሲት ከመ ክርስቶስ ርእሳ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ወመድኅነ ሥጋሃ።
For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。
5:24
ወከመ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ትትኤዘዞ ለክርስቶስ ከማሁ አንስትኒ ይትአዘዛ ለአምታቲሆን በኵሉ።
But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
5:25
ዕደውኒ ያፍቅሩ አንስቲያሆሙ ከመ ክርስቶስ አፍቀራ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ወመጠወ ርእሶ በእንቲኣሃ።
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,
你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。
5:26
ከመ ይቀድሳ ወያንጽሓ በጥምቀተ ማይ ወበቃሉ።
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
要用水藉着道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，
5:27
ወይረስያ ሎቱ ክብርተ ለቤተ ክርስቲያኑ ከመ ኢይርከብ በላዕሌሃ ርስሐተ ወጥልቀተ ዳእሙ ከመ ትኩን ንጽሕተ ወቅድስተ።
that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.
可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
5:28
ከማሁ ዕደውኒ ያፍቅሩ አንስቲያሆሙ ከመ ነፍሶሙ ዘአፍቀረ ብእሲቶ ርእሶ አፍቀረ።
Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。
5:29
ወአልቦ ዘይክል ጸሊአ ሥጋሁ ግሙራ ሴስዩ ወተማሕፀኑ በከመ ክርስቶስ ለቤተ ክርስቲያኑ።
For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,
從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總是保養顧惜，正像基督待教會一樣，
5:30
እስመ አባለ ሥጋሁ ይእቲ።
because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
因我們是他身上的肢體 。
5:31
ወበእንተዝ የኀድግ ብእሲ አባሁ ወእሞ ወይተልዋ ለብእሲቱ ወይከውኑ ክልኤሆሙ አሐደ ሥጋ።
“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”
為這個緣故，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。
5:32
ዐቢይ ውእቱ ዝ ነገር ወአንሰ እብሎ ላዕለ ክርስቶስ ወላዕለ ቤተ ክርስቲያኑ።
This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.
這是極大的奧祕，但我是指着基督和教會說的。
5:33
ወባሕቱ አንትሙኒ ኵልክሙ ከማሁ አንስቲያክሙ አፍቅሩ ከመ ነፍስክሙ ወብእሲትኒ ትፍርሆ ለምታ።
Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
然而，你們各人都當愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重她的丈夫。
