1:1
(ኦሪት ፡ ዘመሳፍንት ።)ወኮነ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ ሞተ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ወተስእሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ [ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡] እንዘ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ መኑ ፡ የዐርግ ፡ ለነ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ከናኔዎን ፡ መልአክ ፡ ዘይትቃተሎሙ ፡ ለነ ።
After the death of Joshua, the children of Israel asked of Yahweh, saying, “Who should go up for us first against the Canaanites, to fight against them?”
約書亞死後，以色列人求問耶和華說：「我們中間誰當首先上去攻擊迦南人，與他們爭戰？」
1:2
ወይቤሎ [ሙ ] ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ የዐርግ ፡ ወናሁ ፡ አግባእክዋ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴሁ ።
Yahweh said, “Judah shall go up. Behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.”
耶和華說：「猶大當先上去，我已將那地交在他手中。」
1:3
ወይቤሎ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ለስምዖን ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ዕረግ ፡ ምስሌየ ፡ በውስተ ፡ መክፈልትየ ፡ ወንትቃተሎሙ ፡ ለከናአን ፡ ወአሐውር ፡ አነኒ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ በውስተ ፡ መክፈልትከ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ስምዖን ፡ ምስሌሁ ።
Judah said to Simeon his brother, “Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with you into your lot.” So Simeon went with him.
猶大對他哥哥西緬說：「請你同我到拈鬮所得之地去，好與迦南人爭戰；以後我也同你到你拈鬮所得之地去。」於是西緬與他同去。
1:4
ወዐርገ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወአግብኦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ ወለፌሬዜዎን ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ወቀተሎሙ ፡ በቤዜቅ ፡ እልፈ ፡ ብእሴ ።
Judah went up, and Yahweh delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand. They struck ten thousand men in Bezek.
猶大就上去；耶和華將迦南人和比利洗人交在他們手中。他們在比色擊殺了一萬人，
1:5
ወረከብዎ ፡ ለአዶኒቤዜቅ ፡ ወተቃተልዎ ፡ ወቀተልዎሙ ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ ወለፌሬዜዎን ።
They found Adoni-Bezek in Bezek, and they fought against him. They struck the Canaanites and the Perizzites.
又在那裏遇見亞多尼‧比色，與他爭戰，殺敗迦南人和比利洗人。
1:6
ወጐየ ፡ አዶኒቤዜቅ ፡ ወዴገንዎ ፡ ወተለውዎ ፡ ወአኀዝዎ ፡ ወመተሩ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ እደዊሁ ፡ ወእገሪሁ ።
But Adoni-Bezek fled. They pursued him, caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his big toes.
亞多尼‧比色逃跑；他們追趕，拿住他，砍斷他手腳的大拇指。
1:7
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ አዶኒቤዜቅ ፡ ዘ፸ነገሥት ፡ አርእስተ ፡ እደዊሆሙ ፡ ወእገሪሆሙ ፡ ምቱር ፡ ሀለወ ፡ አስተጋብኡ ፡ በታሕተ ፡ ማእድየ ፡ ወበከመ ፡ ገበርኩ ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ፈደየኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወወሰድዎ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወሞተ ፡ በህየ ።
Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings, having their thumbs and their big toes cut off, scavenged under my table. As I have done, so God has done to me.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.
亞多尼‧比色說：「從前有七十個王，手腳的大拇指都被我砍斷，在我桌子底下拾取零碎食物。現在上帝按着我所行的報應我了。」於是他們將亞多尼‧比色帶到耶路撒冷，他就死在那裏。
1:8
ወተቃተሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወአስተግብእዋ ፡ ወቀተልዋ ፡ በአፈ ፡ ኀፂን ፡ ወአውዐዩ ፡ ሀገራ ፡ በእሳት ።
The children of Judah fought against Jerusalem, took it, struck it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.
猶大人攻打耶路撒冷，將城攻取，用刀殺了城內的人，並且放火燒城。
1:9
ወእምዝ ፡ ወረዱ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ይትቃተልዎሙ ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባር ።
After that, the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites who lived in the hill country, and in the South, and in the lowland.
後來猶大人下去，與住山地、南地，和高原的迦南人爭戰。
1:10
ወሖረ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ከናኔዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ ወወፅኡ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ ተቀበልዎሙ ፡ ወስማ ፡ ለኬብሮን ፡ ትካት ፡ ቀሪየርቦቀሴፌር ፡ ወቀተልዎሙ ፡ ለሴሲ ፡ ወለአኪመም ፡ ወለተሚ ፡ ትውልደ ፡ ኤነቅ ።
Judah went against the Canaanites who lived in Hebron. (The name of Hebron before that was Kiriath Arba.) They struck Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai.
猶大人去攻擊住希伯崙的迦南人，殺了示篩、亞希幔、撻買。希伯崙從前名叫基列‧亞巴。
1:11
ወሖሩ ፡ እምህየ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ዳቢር ፡ ወስማ ፡ ለዳቢር ፡ ትካት ፡ ሀገረ ፡ መጽሐፍ ።
From there he went against the inhabitants of Debir. (The name of Debir before that was Kiriath Sepher.)
他們從那裏去攻擊底壁的居民；底壁從前名叫基列‧西弗。
1:12
ወይቤ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ ዘቀተላ ፡ ለሀገረ ፡ መጽሐፍ ፡ ወአስተጋብኣ ፡ እሁቦ ፡ አስካ ፡ ወለትየ ፡ ትኩኖ ፡ ብእሲተ ።
Caleb said, “I will give Achsah my daughter as wife to the man who strikes Kiriath Sepher, and takes it.”
迦勒說：「誰能攻打基列‧西弗，將城奪取，我就把我女兒押撒給他為妻。」
1:13
ወአስተጋብኣ ፡ ጎቶኒየል ፡ ወልደ ፡ ቄኔዝ ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ ዘይንእስ ፡ ወወሀቦ ፡ አስካ ፡ ወለቶ ፡ ትኩኖ ፡ ብእሲቶ ።
Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, took it, so he gave him Achsah his daughter as his wife.
迦勒兄弟基納斯的兒子俄陀聶奪取了那城，迦勒就把女兒押撒給他為妻。
1:14
ወሶበ ፡ ለሐዊራ ፡ አምከራ ፡ ጎቶኒየል ፡ ትስአሎ ፡ ለአቡሃ ፡ ይጸግዋ ፡ ዐጸደ ፡ ወፍር ፡ ወአንጐርጐረት ፡ በዲበ ፡ አድግ ፡ ወጸርሐት ፡ በላዕለ ፡ አድግ ፡ ወትቤ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ አዜብ ፡ ፈኖከኒ ፡ ወይቤላ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ ምንተ ፡ ኮንኪ ።
When she came, she got him to ask her father for a field. She got off her donkey; and Caleb said to her, “What would you like?”
押撒過門的時候，勸丈夫向她父親求一塊田。押撒一下驢，迦勒問她說：「你要甚麼？」
1:15
ወትቤሎ ፡ አስካ ፡ ሀበኒ ፡ በረከተ ፡ እስመ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ አዜብ ፡ ፈኖከኒ ፡ ወሀበኒ ፡ ቤዛ ፡ ማይ ፡ ወወሀባ ፡ ካሌብ ፡ በከመ ፡ ትፈቱ ፡ በልባ ፡ ቤዛ ፡ ሕሙም ፡ ወቤዛ ፡ ትኩዝ ።
She said to him, “Give me a blessing; because you have set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water.” Then Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
她說：「求你賜福給我，你既將我安置在南地，求你也給我水泉。」迦勒就把上泉下泉賜給她。
1:16
ወደቂቀ ፡ ዮባብ ፡ ቀኔያዊ ፡ ሐሙሁ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ዐርጉ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ፊንቆን ፡ ኀበ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሐቅለ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ዘመንገለ ፡ አዜብ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሙራደ ፡ አረድ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ወነበረ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሕዝብ ።
The children of the Kenite, Moses’ brother-in-law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which is in the south of Arad; and they went and lived with the people.
摩西的內兄 是基尼人，他的子孫與猶大人一同離了棕樹城，往亞拉得以南的猶大曠野去，就住在民中。
1:17
ወሖረ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ስምዖን ፡ [እኁሁ ፡] ወቀተልዎሙ ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሴፍር ፡ ወአሕረምዋ ፡ ወአጥፍእዋ ።
Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they struck the Canaanites who inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. The name of the city was called Hormah.
猶大和他哥哥西緬同去，擊殺了住洗法的迦南人，將城盡行毀滅，那城的名便叫何珥瑪。
1:18
ወኢተወርሳ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ለጋዛን ፡ ወለደወላ ፡ ወአስቃሎና ፡ ወደወላ ፡ ወአዛጦን ፡ ወደወላ ፡ ወጺኦታቲሃ ።
Also Judah took Gaza with its border, and Ashkelon with its border, and Ekron with its border.
猶大又取了迦薩和迦薩的四境，亞實基倫和亞實基倫的四境，以革倫和以革倫的四境。
1:19
ወሀለወ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምስለ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወተወርሰ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ወስእነ ፡ ተወርሶቶሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቈላት ፡ እስመ ፡ ሬከብ ፡ ፈለጣ ።
Yahweh was with Judah, and drove out the inhabitants of the hill country; for he could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
耶和華與猶大同在，猶大就趕出山地的居民，只是不能趕出平原的居民，因為他們有鐵車。
1:20
ወወሀብዎ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ ኬብሮን ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወተወርሰ ፡ እምህየ ፡ አህጉረ ፡ ወአሰሰሎሙ ፡ እምህየ ፡ ለሠለስቱ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኤናቅ ።
They gave Hebron to Caleb, as Moses had said, and he drove the three sons of Anak out of there.
以色列人照摩西所說的，將希伯崙給了迦勒；迦勒就從那裏趕出亞衲族的三個族長。
1:21
ወለኢየቡሴዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ኢያሰሰልዎሙ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ብንያሚ ፡ ወነበሩ ፡ ኢየቡሴዎን ፡ ምስለ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ብንያሚ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
The children of Benjamin didn’t drive out the Jebusites who inhabited Jerusalem, but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.
便雅憫人沒有趕出住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人。耶布斯人仍在耶路撒冷與便雅憫人同住，直到今日。
1:22
ወዐርጉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ዮሴፍሰ ፡ እሙንቱኒ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤቴል ፤
The house of Joseph also went up against Bethel, and Yahweh was with them.
約瑟家也上去攻打伯特利；耶和華與他們同在。
1:23
ወስማ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ሀገር ፡ ትካት ፡ ሉዛ ።
The house of Joseph sent to spy out Bethel. (The name of the city before that was Luz.)
約瑟家打發人去窺探伯特利（那城起先名叫路斯）。
1:24
ወርእዩ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ መዓቅብ ፡ ብእሴ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሀገር ፡ ወአኀዝዎ ፡ ወይቤልዎ ፡ አርእየነ ፡ ምብዋኣ ፡ ለህገር ፡ ወንገብር ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ምሕረተ ።
The watchers saw a man come out of the city, and they said to him, “Please show us the entrance into the city, and we will deal kindly with you.”
窺探的人看見一個人從城裏出來，就對他說：「求你將進城的路指示我們，我們必恩待你。」
1:25
ወአርአዮሙ ፡ እንተ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ይበውእዋ ፡ ለሀገር ፡ ወቀተልዋ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ሀገር ፡ በአፈ ፡ ኀፂን ፡ ወለዝክቱሰ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ወለአዝማዲሁ ፡ አግዐዝዎሙ ።
He showed them the entrance into the city, and they struck the city with the edge of the sword; but they let the man and all his family go.
那人將進城的路指示他們，他們就用刀擊殺了城中的居民，但將那人和他全家放去。
1:26
ወአተወ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ኬጤዎን ፡ ወነደቀ ፡ በህየ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ወሰመየ ፡ ስማ ፡ ሉዛ ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ ኮነ ፡ ስማ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዮም ።
The man went into the land of the Hittites, built a city, and called its name Luz, which is its name to this day.
那人往赫人之地去，築了一座城，起名叫路斯。那城到如今還叫這名。
1:27
ወኢተወርሰ ፡ ምናሴ ፡ ቤተሳን ፡ እንተ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ ሶቂቶን ፡ ወኢአዋልዲሃ ፡ ወኢጺኦታቲሃ ፡ ወኢኤቅዳአድ ፡ ወኢአዋልዲሃ ፡ ወኢእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዶር ፡ ወኢአዋልዲሃ ፡ ወኢእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ [ውስተ ] ፡ በለዓም ፡ ወኢአዋልዲ [ሃ ] ፡ ወኢእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መጌዶን ፡ ወኢአዋልዲሃ ፡ ወኢእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ [ውስተ ፡] የብለዓም ፡ ወኢአዋልዲሃ ፡ ወአኀዙ ፡ ከናአን ፡ ይንበሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ምድር ።
Manasseh didn’t drive out the inhabitants of Beth Shean and its towns, nor Taanach and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
瑪拿西沒有趕出伯‧善和屬伯‧善鄉村的居民，他納和屬他納鄉村的居民，多珥和屬多珥鄉村的居民，以伯蓮和屬以伯蓮鄉村的居民，米吉多和屬米吉多鄉村的居民；迦南人卻執意住在那些地方。
1:28
ወእምዝ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ጸንዑ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ መጸብሔ ፡ ረሰይዎሙ ፡ ለከናአን ፡ ወአጥፍኦሰ ፡ ኢያጥፍእዎሙ ።
When Israel had grown strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labor, and didn’t utterly drive them out.
及至以色列強盛了，就使迦南人做苦工，沒有把他們全然趕出。
1:29
ወኤፍሬምኒ ፡ ኢያጥፍእዎሙ ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጋዜር ፡ ወነበሩ ፡ ከናኔዎን ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጋዜር ፡ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ መጸብሔ ።
Ephraim didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, but the Canaanites lived in Gezer among them.
以法蓮沒有趕出住基色的迦南人。於是迦南人仍住在基色，在以法蓮中間。
1:30
ወዛቡሎንሂ ፡ ኢያጥፍእዎሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቄድሮን ፡ ወለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዐማን ፡ ወነበሩ ፡ ከናኔዎን ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ መጸብሔ ።
Zebulun didn’t drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites lived among them, and became subject to forced labor.
西布倫沒有趕出基倫的居民和拿哈拉的居民。於是迦南人仍住在西布倫中間，成了服苦的人。
1:31
ወአሴርሂ ፡ ኢያጥፍእዎሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አኮ ፡ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ መጸብሔ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደር ፡ ወእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሲዶና ፡ ወእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዳላፍ ፡ ወአስኮድ ፡ ወኬድያ ፡ ወአፌቅ ፡ ወሮዖብ ።
Asher didn’t drive out the inhabitants of Acco, nor the inhabitants of Sidon, nor of Ahlab, nor of Achzib, nor of Helbah, nor of Aphik, nor of Rehob;
亞設沒有趕出亞柯和西頓的居民，亞黑拉和亞革悉的居民，黑巴、亞弗革與利合的居民。
1:32
ወነበረ ፡ አሴር ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ከናኔዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ እስመ ፡ ስእኑ ፡ አጥፍኦቶሙ ።
but the Asherites lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land, for they didn’t drive them out.
於是，亞設因為沒有趕出那地的迦南人，就住在他們中間。
1:33
ወንፍታሌምሂ ፡ ኢያጥፍእዎሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤ [ተ ፡] ሳሚስ ፡ ወኢእለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤቴኔት ፡ ወነበሩ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ እለ ፡ ሀለው ፡ ውስተ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ መጾብሔ ፡ እለ ፡ ይነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ሳሚስ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ቤቴኔክ ።
Naphtali didn’t drive out the inhabitants of Beth Shemesh, nor the inhabitants of Beth Anath; but he lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land. Nevertheless the inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and of Beth Anath became subject to forced labor.
拿弗他利沒有趕出伯‧示麥和伯‧亞納的居民，於是拿弗他利就住在那地的迦南人中間；然而伯‧示麥和伯‧亞納的居民成了服苦的人。
1:34
ወአጠቅዎሙ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ዳን ፡ በውስተ ፡ ደብር ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢያበውሕዎሙ ፡ ይረዱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቈላት ፡ ወአኅዙ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ይንበሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ መርስኖኖስ ፡ ዘቦ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ ድበ ፡ ወቈናጽለ ፡ ወጸንዐት ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ዮሴፍ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ መጸብሔ ።
The Amorites forced the children of Dan into the hill country, for they would not allow them to come down to the valley;
亞摩利人強逼但人住在山地，不容他們下到平原；
1:35
ወደብረ ፡ አሞሬዎን ፡ (ለ )ኢዱሜዎን ፡ ላዕላይ ፡ ዘአቅራቢን ፡ እለ ፡ ውስተ ፡ [ላዕለ ፡] ኰኵሕ ።
but the Amorites would dwell in Mount Heres, in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim. Yet the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they became subject to forced labor.
亞摩利人卻執意住在希烈山和亞雅崙並沙賓。然而約瑟家勝了他們，使他們成了服苦的人。
