5:1
Δικαιωθέντες οὖν ἐκ πίστεως εἰρήνην ἔχωμεν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν διὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ ,
Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
我們既因信稱義，就藉着我們的主耶穌基督得與上帝相和。
5:2
δι’ οὗ καὶ τὴν προσαγωγὴν ἐσχήκαμεν τῇ πίστει εἰς τὴν χάριν ταύτην ἐν ᾗ ἑστήκαμεν , καὶ καυχώμεθα ἐπ’ ἐλπίδι τῆς δόξης τοῦ θεοῦ .
through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
我們又藉着他，因信得進入現在所站的這恩典中，並且歡歡喜喜盼望上帝的榮耀。
5:3
οὐ μόνον δέ , ἀλλὰ καὶ καυχώμεθα ἐν ταῖς θλίψεσιν , εἰδότες ὅτι ἡ θλῖψις ὑπομονὴν κατεργάζεται ,
Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;
不但如此，就是在患難中也是歡歡喜喜的；因為知道患難生忍耐，
5:4
ἡ δὲ ὑπομονὴ δοκιμήν , ἡ δὲ δοκιμὴ ἐλπίδα ·
and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
忍耐生老練，老練生盼望；
5:5
ἡ δὲ ἐλπὶς οὐ καταισχύνει , ὅτι ἡ ἀγάπη τοῦ θεοῦ ἐκκέχυται ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ἡμῶν διὰ πνεύματος ἁγίου τοῦ δοθέντος ἡμῖν ,
and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
盼望不至於羞恥，因為所賜給我們的聖靈將上帝的愛澆灌在我們心裏。
5:6
ἔτι γὰρ Χριστὸς ὄντων ἡμῶν ἀσθενῶν ἔτι κατὰ καιρὸν ὑπὲρ ἀσεβῶν ἀπέθανεν .
For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
因我們還軟弱的時候，基督就按所定的日期為罪人死。
5:7
μόλις γὰρ ὑπὲρ δικαίου τις ἀποθανεῖται · ὑπὲρ γὰρ τοῦ ἀγαθοῦ τάχα τις καὶ τολμᾷ ἀποθανεῖν ·
For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die.
為義人死，是少有的；為仁人死， 或者有敢做的。
5:8
συνίστησιν δὲ τὴν ἑαυτοῦ ἀγάπην εἰς ἡμᾶς ὁ θεὸς ὅτι ἔτι ἁμαρτωλῶν ὄντων ἡμῶν Χριστὸς ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἀπέθανεν .
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，上帝的愛就在此向我們顯明了。
5:9
πολλῷ οὖν μᾶλλον δικαιωθέντες νῦν ἐν τῷ αἵματι αὐτοῦ σωθησόμεθα δι’ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀργῆς .
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him.
現在我們既靠着他的血稱義，就更要藉着他免去上帝的忿怒。
5:10
εἰ γὰρ ἐχθροὶ ὄντες κατηλλάγημεν τῷ θεῷ διὰ τοῦ θανάτου τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ , πολλῷ μᾶλλον καταλλαγέντες σωθησόμεθα ἐν τῇ ζωῇ αὐτοῦ ·
For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
因為我們作仇敵的時候，且藉着上帝兒子的死，得與上帝和好；既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。
5:11
οὐ μόνον δέ , ἀλλὰ καὶ καυχώμενοι ἐν τῷ θεῷ διὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ , δι’ οὗ νῦν τὴν καταλλαγὴν ἐλάβομεν .
Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
不但如此，我們既藉着我主耶穌基督得與上帝和好，也就藉着他以上帝為樂。
5:12
Διὰ τοῦτο ὥσπερ δι’ ἑνὸς ἀνθρώπου ἡ ἁμαρτία εἰς τὸν κόσμον εἰσῆλθεν καὶ διὰ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ὁ θάνατος , καὶ οὕτως εἰς πάντας ἀνθρώπους ὁ θάνατος διῆλθεν , ἐφ’ ᾧ πάντες ἥμαρτον
Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death passed to all men because all sinned.
這就如罪是從一人入了世界，死又是從罪來的，於是死就臨到眾人，因為眾人都犯了罪。
5:13
ἄχρι γὰρ νόμου ἁμαρτία ἦν ἐν κόσμῳ , ἁμαρτία δὲ οὐκ ἐλλογεῖται μὴ ὄντος νόμου ·
For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.
沒有律法之先，罪已經在世上；但沒有律法，罪也不算罪。
5:14
ἀλλὰ ἐβασίλευσεν ὁ θάνατος ἀπὸ Ἀδὰμ μέχρι Μωϋσέως καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς μὴ ἁμαρτήσαντας ἐπὶ τῷ ὁμοιώματι τῆς παραβάσεως Ἀδάμ , ὅς ἐστιν τύπος τοῦ μέλλοντος .
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren’t like Adam’s disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.
然而從亞當到摩西，死就作了王，連那些不與亞當犯一樣罪過的，也在他的權下。亞當乃是那以後要來之人的預像。
5:15
ἀλλ’ οὐχ ὡς τὸ παράπτωμα , οὕτως καὶ τὸ χάρισμα · εἰ γὰρ τῷ τοῦ ἑνὸς παραπτώματι οἱ πολλοὶ ἀπέθανον , πολλῷ μᾶλλον ἡ χάρις τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἡ δωρεὰ ἐν χάριτι τῇ τοῦ ἑνὸς ἀνθρώπου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς τοὺς πολλοὺς ἐπερίσσευσεν .
But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
只是過犯不如恩賜，若因一人的過犯，眾人都死了，何況上帝的恩典，與那因耶穌基督一人恩典中的賞賜，豈不更加倍地臨到眾人嗎？
5:16
καὶ οὐχ ὡς δι’ ἑνὸς ἁμαρτήσαντος τὸ δώρημα · τὸ μὲν γὰρ κρίμα ἐξ ἑνὸς εἰς κατάκριμα , τὸ δὲ χάρισμα ἐκ πολλῶν παραπτωμάτων εἰς δικαίωμα .
The gift is not as through one who sinned; for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift followed many trespasses to justification.
因一人犯罪就定罪，也不如恩賜，原來審判是由一人而定罪，恩賜乃是由許多過犯而稱義。
5:17
εἰ γὰρ τῷ τοῦ ἑνὸς παραπτώματι ὁ θάνατος ἐβασίλευσεν διὰ τοῦ ἑνός , πολλῷ μᾶλλον οἱ τὴν περισσείαν τῆς χάριτος καὶ τῆς δωρεᾶς τῆς δικαιοσύνης λαμβάνοντες ἐν ζωῇ βασιλεύσουσιν διὰ τοῦ ἑνὸς Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ .
For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
若因一人的過犯，死就因這一人作了王，何況那些受洪恩又蒙所賜之義的，豈不更要因耶穌基督一人在生命中作王嗎？
5:18
Ἄρα οὖν ὡς δι’ ἑνὸς παραπτώματος εἰς πάντας ἀνθρώπους εἰς κατάκριμα , οὕτως καὶ δι’ ἑνὸς δικαιώματος εἰς πάντας ἀνθρώπους εἰς δικαίωσιν ζωῆς ·
So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.
如此說來，因一次的過犯，眾人都被定罪；照樣，因一次的義行，眾人也就被稱義得生命了。
5:19
ὥσπερ γὰρ διὰ τῆς παρακοῆς τοῦ ἑνὸς ἀνθρώπου ἁμαρτωλοὶ κατεστάθησαν οἱ πολλοί , οὕτως καὶ διὰ τῆς ὑπακοῆς τοῦ ἑνὸς δίκαιοι κατασταθήσονται οἱ πολλοί .
For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.
因一人的悖逆，眾人成為罪人；照樣，因一人的順從，眾人也成為義了。
5:20
νόμος δὲ παρεισῆλθεν ἵνα πλεονάσῃ τὸ παράπτωμα · οὗ δὲ ἐπλεόνασεν ἡ ἁμαρτία , ὑπερεπερίσσευσεν ἡ χάρις ,
The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly,
律法本是外添的，叫過犯顯多；只是罪在哪裏顯多，恩典就更顯多了。
5:21
ἵνα ὥσπερ ἐβασίλευσεν ἡ ἁμαρτία ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ , οὕτως καὶ ἡ χάρις βασιλεύσῃ διὰ δικαιοσύνης εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν .
that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
就如罪作王叫人死；照樣，恩典也藉着義作王，叫人因我們的主耶穌基督得永生。
